We Are Charmed

Ch. 8

After a good night rest, Ben and I both headed to school after eating breakfast. The school day went well and it was great and peaceful. There was no more bullying and such. After having lunch with Aaron and Ben and having few classes with Aaron, our school day came to an end which means that Ben and I will be on the hunt for Nicholas. So anyways, after going to my locker, putting away and getting the books that I needed for the night, Aaron, Ben and I walk to my car which was parked next to Aaron’s motorcycle.

“How was your day?” Aaron asks.

“Good,” I say. “Just tiring and quiet. How about you?”

“Great,”Aaron says. “You just seem distracted and I am getting worried about you.”

“Hey,” I say. “It is fine. Just midterms and finals coming so I am just stressing. Its nothing other than that.” 

“Okay,” Aaron says. “I hope you know that you can tell me anything right?”

“Yeah,” I say. “I appreciate it.” 

“Don’t mention it.” Aaron says. “Hey Ben look out for him alright?”

“Definately,” Ben says. 

“Good,” Aaron says. He got on his mootorcycle, started it and drove off. We watched him leave. The moment that we saw that he was gone, I turned to Ben and grin.

“Ready kick some demon ass?” I ask.

“Definately,” He says grinning.

“Shouldn’t we do have the final battle at the house?” I ask.

“Nah,” he says. “It will be messy and think about the clean up.”

“True,” I say. “How are we going to find him?”

“I don’t know,” Ben says. “But we can scry for him.”

“True,” I say as Ben starts the car. We drive around trying to find Nick which will be a pain in the butt.

As soon I left I waited for Ben and Brennan to leave campus to follow them to see where they are going. They have been acting weird lately and I needed to find out. I followed them for a couple of minutes until Ben pulled over. I lurked around at a distance just to make sure they dodn’t see me. I assumes that after looking up the phone, they drove off to the gym, and left the car. Ben and Brennan entered the gym. 

“Great,” I thought. “Not only do I not trust Brennan, I followed him. What an idiot.” I decide to leave the gym because I believe that they are not doing anything stupid or shady behind my back.

With Ben driving, my cell phone rings and I See that the caller ID was from Aaron’s dad. 

“Hey Mr. Morales,” I say. “How are you?”

“Good,” he replies. “What are you up to?”

“Demon hunting,” I say.

“Well stop what you’re doing.” he replies.

“Why,” I ask. “Pull over I whisper to Ben.”

“Because Aaron is following you.” he replies.

“And you know this becasue?”

“I am following him,” he replies. “Dont go demon hunting. It’s not safe. 

“Ok,” I reply. “Thanks for the heads up.”

“No problem,” Mr. Morales says and hangs up.

“What was that about?” Ben asks.

“Aaron is following us,” I say.

“Shit,” Ben says. “Out of all the days he could follow us, he picked today?”

“Yeah” I reply. “Just go to the gym and stay there.”

“Fine,” Ben says as he pull away from the curb and  drove to the gym. From there we worked out at the gym for an hour and left. We acted like nothing was out of the ordinary. 

After working out Ben and I left the gym and drove home. Our mom called us and told us to be home now because she has a feeling that Nick will be at the house.

“Okay,” I say. “Hit the gas Ben, we need to be there to vanquish Nick.” Once we arrive home, we see mom in the kitchen.

“Hey,” we both say. “Where is Nick?”

“Coming soon,” our mom says.  Someone rings the door bell and Ben got up to open it. There we see an old man holding flowers in a vase.

“These are for Penny.” he says and dropped the flowers. 

I froze the guy which stop the flowers mid air and pick it up. “Is this Nick?”

“Yeah,” my mom says. 

“Great,” I say. “I froze him and he will definately know.”

“Uh huh,” Ben says. as I unfroze him. He looks at the clock, “Its three o clock. Theres only two chimes. That mean you have frozen time and me.”

“Yeah,” I say. Nick raised his hand pointing the ring at me but nothing happens. 

“Whoooooo,” I say. “Is that ring supposed to scare me?”

“What?” he asks. “Why doesn’t it work on you?”

“Because you didn’t create a bond with us,” Ben says. Ben squinted and sent Nick across the room straight into the bookcase. Nick tried to get up but I froze him. 

“Lavender, mimosa, holy thistle. Cleanse this evil from our midst. Scatter it’s cell throughout time, Let this Nick no more exist,” Ben and I chanted. Nick unfroze and started to spin in a vortex of fire, he grabbed his head, blew up and disappeared. 

“Well,” I say. “That was easy.”

“You can say that again.” Ben says smiling. “Man, I am so glad that I didn’t get on the bad side of grams and grandma.” I laughed

“I agree.” I say. I look over to where the book shelves collaped. “Great, now we need to clean up the book shelves.”

“Well,” Ben says and waving his arms. “Its all done.”

“Cool,” I say grinning. We walked downstairs to enter the kitchen when the door bell rang. I walk over to the door and opened it. There I see Aaron. 

“Hey,” I say grinning. “What are you doing here?”

“Nothing,” Aaron says grinning. “Just want to see my baby.”

“Oh okay,” I say. I let Aaron in and closed the door. We walk through the hallway seeing Ben and my parents there. 

“Awww,” they say. “That is so cute.”

“Shut it,” I say grinning. 

“That’s no way to speak with you mother young man,” my dad says.

“Sorry,” I reply.

“It’s okay,” my mom says grinning. Turning to Aaron. “You treat my baby right or else you have the Halliwell family after you and it’s not going to be pretty.”

“Yes, ma’am,”Aaron says. “Did you tell you parents about your sexuality?”

“Yeah,” I say. “When I was 16 and they are okay with it.”

“Okay,” Aaron says. “I haven’t told my family yet.”

“That’s okay,” I say. “Just tell them when you are ready. Okay?”

“Okay,” Aaron says. He lean in to kiss me. “Whoo hoo,” my family hooted.

“Thanks,” both Aaron and I say. I turn to him. “Want to stay for dinner?”

“That would be great,” Aaron replies smiling. 

“Cool,” I say. “I’m going upstairs to do some homework.”

“Okay,” my parents and brother say. Aaron and I went to my room and I closed the door. Aaron made the first move and kissed me. The kiss began with both of our mouths closed and turned into open mouth. We even threw in some tongue. After kising a bit, we decided to do our homework which was not a lot. After finishing it, we hung out in my room playing video games to past the time. I was kicking Aaron’s butt when my brother knocked and entered the room.

“Hey,” I say. 

“Hey,” Ben replies. “Playing super smash bros?”

“Yup,” Aaron says.

“Whose winnng?” Ben asks.

“Who else?” I say grinning as I knock out Aaron’s character on the game. 

“Boom,” I say. “Uh huh, uhuhh whose the best?” I was dancing around my room with Ben and Aaron looking at me and shaking their heads.

“You’re such a dork,” Ben says.

“I know,” I reply.

“But you’re my dork,” Aaron says grinning then he kiss me again.

“Ewww,” Ben says jokingly. “Get a room.”

“I am in a room you crazy one. If you don’t like it get out of my room,” I say jokingly.

“I will,” Ben says smiling. There’s a knock on the door and my mom’s head pop in.

“Dinner will be in 5 minutes. Why don’t you guys go wash up?”

“Okay,” I say grinning. I went to the bathroom to wash up, then Aaron and Ben followed after I was done. We all went downstairs to eat dinner and have dessert. After dessert, Aaron announced that he has to go.

“Bye you guys,” Aaron says. “Thank you for having me.”

“It’s our pleasure.” our parents say. 

“See you,” I say when I walk Aaron to the door.

“See you babe,” Aaron says and kiss me. “I will see you on Friday at 7.”

“Okay,” I say grinning. I closed the door. I walk to the family room and announced that I was going to bed.

“Good night,” my parents and twin say.

“Night,” I reply. I walked upstairs to my room. There I did my night routine and went to bed. From there I go on all of my social media. Once I was done, I turn off my lights and went to sleep.
