Next Door Films delivers cinematic, story-driven gay porn that leans heavily into atmosphere and visual storytelling. Scenes unfold like short films, with thoughtful camera work, strong use of real locations, and a noticeable emphasis on outdoor settings to establish mood before the sex kicks off—mostly indoors, but occasionally outside as well. It’s a polished, narrative-focused site rather than quick-hit porn. Next Door Films is part of the ASG Max Network, which now spans 90+ gay channels and over 13,000+ videos, so I’ve logged back in to see how this particular site has been holding up since my last review in October 2024.

The guys here are gay porn stars and porn regulars from the Next Door family of sites, so you'll find well-known men like versatile stud Nico Coopa, hunky jock Carter Woods, heavily inked Blain O'Connor, and hugely hung Jayden Marcos. Newer performers who find themselves filming for this studio also make their way here if they stick around, guys like Kam Stone, Cody Seiya, Grant Ducati, and others. The men are a mix of jocks and muscle studs with the occasional near twink here and there. You'll find plenty of gym-fit to muscular physiques, and they're mostly smooth. Many have tattoos, but lots don't, and they're a mix of clean-shaven or scruffy. Most of the performers are versatile, so most both top and bottom, which means there's lots of flip-flop fucking.

Next Door Films creates movies, not just videos, and most of these are close to an hour long with many coming in slightly over 60 minutes. This gives the directors lots of time to explore various themes in well-written storylines. And while there are standalone movies, many are part of a two or three part series, however, each part is complete on its own. "Changes" explores the evolving relationship of a group of friends; one guy is moving out on his own, and his friends and roommates send him off with a butt load of sex and a dildo parting gift which he explores with his new landlord. "Breaking Frontiers" sees city boy Carter Woods moving to his own farm where he quickly becomes attracted to his cute farm hand. When Carter's friends come for a visit, not only does he come out to them, but he has sex with them. There are a couple of surprises, including the fact the two of his "straight" friends have been secretly fucking.

There's lots of sucking and fucking in duos and threeways. As I mentioned, most of the performers are versatile, so we're treated to lots of flip-fucking. As there's a romantic element to many of these stories, there's lots of tenderness as we see the guys cultivating their growing attraction to one another other, so there's lots of kisses, caressing, and making out, and not just ass pounding, although there's lot of that. When these guys finally strip, all of their pent-up horniness comes out in hot and sweaty suck and fuck sessions. The chemistry between the performers is palpable, and the sex isn't quick hook-up sex; it's more like we're watching fuck buddies and new lovers with hot got-to-have-you-right-now moments. I like these movies a lot, they're a bit like watching a gay film on Netflix but with dicks and asses and lots of fucking.

Next Door Films now offers 29 exclusive videos, up slightly from the 27 scenes available at my last visit. Each production runs close to an hour, reinforcing the site’s focus on fully developed, cinematic storytelling rather than short-form scenes. Videos are available to both stream and download in a wide range of formats, including 2160p (4K), 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), 540p, plus four smaller mobile-friendly sizes for slower connections or portable viewing. Overall video quality is very strong, with the higher-resolution files looking especially good on larger screens, and playback worked smoothly across devices during my testing.

These are movies not videos, and the producer takes great care in creating a good viewing experience with good lighting, sound, and camera angles - these videos aren't slapped together.

Each movie also has a picture set. The pics are a mix of digital stills and screencaps. Many sets have glamour shots of the models mixed in with screencaps of the action. They display at 1920x1080 in a mix of portrait and landscape at good quality, although the screencaps aren't as crisp as the digital stills. You can save the pictures one at a time or download whole sets in zip files. The picture viewer has forward and back controls, but there's no slideshow feature.

Updates appear to have slowed significantly at Next Door Films. When I last reviewed the site in October 2024, there were 27 videos available; on this return visit in January 2026, the library has grown to 29 videos, meaning just two new releases were added in that entire period. Looking more closely at the release dates, those two films both arrived in 2025, with the most recent dating back to July 2025. Based on this, the site is either updating very infrequently or may currently be inactive, as there’s no clear indication of ongoing or scheduled new releases.

Your membership gives you full access to ASG Max which at the moment offers 93 gay porn channels and 13,133 videos. Joining NextDoorFilms gives the company permission to send you commercial emails with no way to opt out until later. There is a daily download limit of 300 GB, which is actually quite generous. The monthly memberships have low initial prices, but they increase quite a bit when rebilling. Last, I got hit with a notification pop-up when logging in.

While updates here have clearly slowed dramatically or may have stopped altogether, a membership still unlocks full access to the ASG Max Network, which includes thousands of additional videos across dozens of channels. As a standalone site this now feels more like a finished collection than an actively updating studio, but as part of the wider ASG Max package, Next Door Films remains a worthwhile and easy recommendation.
