ASG Max Review

ASGMax is a huge gay porn network from the people behind the full family of Next Door Studios sites, along with brands like Active Duty, Men Over 30, Disruptive Films, and more. We last visited about a year ago and, although the member's area looks largely the same at first glance, the network has expanded noticeably since then. The platform now brings together 90 channels covering everything from jocks and daddies to horny twinks, amateurs, kink, and solo male content - all collected into one much larger, unified hub.

Since our last review, several new sections have been added, including ASG Original, ASG Auditions, and ASG Massage, alongside exclusive series such as "Deviants", "Almost Real", and "Exeter Hill College", giving the network more of its own identity beyond the established studio brands. You’ll still find familiar highlights like Active Duty with its athletic military men, Men Over 30’s hairy mature performers, and niche content from sites like Family Creep, while solo-focused channels such as Cody Cummings and older archive brands like Boyz Party and Circle Jerk Boys remain available deeper in the members area.

Members also get the full Next Door Studios line-up — including Next Door Buddies, Next Door Male,, Next Door Twink, Next Door Raw, and Next Door Taboo - making ASGMax feel like a much broader extension of that studio. In practice, the network acts as a single consolidated hub, which helps reduce the confusion that previously came from bonus content being scattered across separate member's areas.

Although there are 90 channels listed, not all of them are standalone sites. Around 31 are full original brands, while many others organize ongoing series or themed collections pulled from larger studios. For example, Disruptive Films appears here alongside spin-off channels like "True Male" and "Taboo Men", while "Service Station" and "Fraternity Fantasies" branch off from Next Door Studios, and "Sampling Their Stepbrothers" or "Secret Sexcapades" come from Next Door Taboo. You’ll also see selected updates from Chaos Men, Downlow Boys, and Adult Time, though these sections don’t include their complete back catalogues.

As far as the action goes, expect everything from solo masturbation sessions to sucking and fucking in duos, threeways, some light kink, and small groups. Some scenes feature guys trying gay sex for the first time while others have more experienced porn stars exploring new, fun sexual terrain. Because the content spans 24 years, you’ll find both condom and bareback sex, although the new scenes are almost always condom-free. There’s so much variety here that it’s really impossible to cover all the bases, so take a look at the tour and you’ll see what the site has to offer.

The newest releases can be streamed and downloaded in multiple MP4 resolutions, typically offered in 2160p (4K Ultra HD), 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), 540p (qHD), and 480p (SD), along with three smaller mobile-friendly sizes for slower connections and compact screens. These recent videos are generally very good quality, with the 2160p (4K / Ultra HD) versions looking especially crisp on larger displays.

Older scenes are more mixed. Many are limited to the smaller resolutions, and overall quality ranges from average to good amateur, depending on the original production standards at the time. Some of the very oldest titles — particularly early Boyz Party and Active Duty content — appear noticeably dated and are better suited to smaller screens. All videos stream through a responsive player that adjusts to your device, with fullscreen and mobile-compatible playback available throughout the network.

There are picture sets that you’ll find under Photos on the sidebar, but you’ll also find a gallery link on each video episode’s page. The pictures range from good quality digital stills to poor quality screencaps depending on the producer and the age. The very newest display at 1920x1080 and the very oldest come in around 960x720, but there may be other sizes. The picture viewer has forward and back controls, and there’s a hands-free slideshow feature, as well. You can save pictures individually or download the whole set in a zip file. Unfortunately, the 3,000 episodes that don’t have pictures still have a gallery link which takes you to a page that says "There are no screenshots for this scene". Some of the older scenes have galleries but are missing downloadable zip files. 

Let’s talk about updates. Over the last year, ASGMax has grown from 12,819 to 13,158 videos, which means 339 new scenes have been added in the past 12 months. That averages out to roughly 28 new videos per month, or around 6 to 7 updates per week across the network. So while the site has always claimed to update multiple times weekly, the long-term numbers back that up. As with most large networks, not every update is a completely new standalone production - some are series entries or compilations - but the steady rise in total content shows that ASGMax continues to expand at a consistent and substantial pace.

There are some downsides. There’s a pre-checked offer on the right side of the billing page, but it’s easy to uncheck it if you’re not interested. When you log in, you'll land of a page full of ads, but just click "No Thanks. Continue to Members Area" to get to the member home page. When joining, you automatically agree to receive updates and commercial emails, but you can opt out after the fact. There's a pop-up on the join page, but it's easy to close. I also got hit with a notification pop-up on the tour. If you agree to receive notifications, they may pop up in your browser at any time, so if you share a computer, we recommend you block these. The initial price of both the monthly memberships recur at much higher prices.

While there’s a lot of content included in your membership, there are a number of banners and links encouraging you to spend more money on other sites and products, but these are easy enough to ignore. You can fully enjoy ASG Max without needing to spend another dime, so long as you have opted for a Streaming & Download membership.

I enjoyed revisiting ASGMax, and it still feels like a much clearer way to explore this company’s catalogue now that so much of their content sits under one roof. Instead of scattered bonus updates across separate sites, the network brings everything together into a massive library of 13,158 videos you can download, stream, or watch on your mobiles. Not every included channel offers a complete archive, but many do, and with roughly 28 new scenes added each month over the past year, the membership continues to deliver solid ongoing value. It’s definitely worth checking out the tour — there’s an enormous amount of content here to explore.
