Downlow Boys Review

Downlow Boys is the rebranded version of Blacks on Boys, a long-running gay interracial site best known for hung Black men dominating White guys, often in intense threesomes and spit-roasting action. The original site launched back in 2005 and has seen periods of both steady production and pauses. After being acquired by Gamma — the company behind Next Door Studios and the massive ASG Max network — it was relaunched as Downlow Boys in mid-2024. We last reviewed it in July 2024, and now we’re back to see if they’ve kept up with regular updates or if most of the material is recycled from the old catalog.

Let's talk about the Black men first. They're a mix of fairly well-known gay porn performers like Ray Diesel, Aaron Trainer, Jake Waters, Micah Martinez, Dillon Diaz, Sean Xavier, Tony Genius, and so many others. They're generally a good-looking lot with gym-fit to muscular bodies, they range through their twenties, thirties, and forties and most are pretty well hung. The White guys are also well-known gay porn performers like Max Adonis, Pierce Paris, Derek Kage, Gunnar Stone, Kane Fox, Drake Von, Ethan Sinns, and Jeremiah Cruz, among so many others. They also run from slim to muscled and ranging from twenty to forty years old.

The Black men almost always top, and this was almost exclusively the case in the older scenes. But in the past couple of years, there have been several White guys doing the fucking, men like furry and stocky Colby Jansen, hung twink Drake Von, redhead muscle hunk Jeremiah Cruz, and inked bald daddy Gunnar Stone. Most of the action is sucking and fucking in duos, but there many threeways, too. Sometimes there's a bit of a storyline like a guy wakes up to find his roommate's trick from the previous night in the kitchen so they fuck or the pizza delivery boy gets invited in and he's fucked by a pair of horny buddies. Lots of hot action with big Black dicks stretching tight White holes, but occasionally a Black guy bottoms. Most of the times the guys cum on each other's bodies, but there are also 167 videos with creamy facials. The early videos feature condom sex while the new ones are mostly bareback.

Downlow Boys now offers 502 videos, up from 479 at our last review. The newer scenes are available to stream or download in MP4 format with multiple resolutions: 2160p (4K Ultra HD), 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), 540p (SD), plus three smaller mobile-friendly sizes. The older content is limited to 480p or lower (Standard Definition), and while serviceable, it looks soft and grainy on larger screens. The videos run between 25 and 35 minutes each and stream in a responsive player that adjusts to your device, or you can select the resolution manually. Playback quality is good overall, with the recent 4K and Full HD options looking sharp on desktop and mobile alike.

Each episode has a picture set. These are usually good quality digital stills sized at 1280x1920 or reversed for landscape versions, and each newer gallery has as many as 150 pictures, sometimes more. Older galleries have around 30 pictures each, and the pics are sized at a much smaller 640x480 at average quality. You can save any of the pictures individually. The newer releases offer downloadable zip files, but the oldest galleries don't, however, while the older galleries have hands-free slideshows, the newer ones don't.

Let’s talk about updates. When we last reviewed Downlow Boys in July 2024, there were 479 videos. The count now sits at 502, an increase of 23 videos over about 14 months. That works out to a steady pace of around two new scenes per month. Unlike in earlier years, when some updates were recycled by re-dating older content, the recent additions appear to be genuine new releases.

Members get some extras. This producer filmed another series of videos called Gloryholes & Handjobs that you'll get access to, and this channel still features 87 videos. You'll also find some gay bonus videos under several other channels: Pride Studios, Chaos Men, ASG Max, Noir Male, however, these are far from the full catalogs from each of the sites. You also get access to 24 straight channels with 5,000+ videos . 

There are a few other things to cover here. When you join Downlow Boys, you’re actually logging in through the DFXtra network. After a full-page ad with third-party banners, you land on the network homepage — but by default, it shows straight content. Navigation isn’t very intuitive, and it’s easy to get lost among the straight videos if you don’t know where to look. The simplest way to avoid this is to use the orientation filter icons at the top right of the page and select "gay", which limits the feed to Downlow Boys and the handful of other gay channels in the network. The tour is accurate in most of its claims, including multiple weekly updates, but only six of the channels are gay-focused while the rest are straight. 

There’s a pre-checked offer on the right side of the billing page, but you can uncheck it easily enough. When joining, note that the $5 option is for a full month but is streaming-only and recurs at $19.95. The $14.95 option does include both streaming and downloads, but it’s a promotional offer that rebills at the full rate of $29.95. Be aware that downloads are not included with the cheapest memberships, so you’ll need a higher tier to get them. Also, by joining you automatically agree to receive commercial emails, and you’ll encounter a pop-up when exiting the join page.

Downlow Boys has settled into a steady rhythm, with around two genuine new updates per month, and the action still delivers plenty of hot gay interracial sex with hung Black tops and eager White bottoms. The site now counts 502 videos to stream or download, and members also get access to a selection of other gay channels along with a large amount of straight content through the DFXtra network. The biggest drawback remains the navigation and organization — it’s not always easy to find the gay material without filtering — but it’s good to see the site updating regularly again.
