Next Door Buddies Review

Next Door Buddies is the second-oldest site from Next Door Entertainment, which is approaching its 19th year online. It was one of the early "straight guys trying gay sex" sites, focusing on first-time experiences and curious neighbors. The site is now part of the much larger ASG Max network, which currently includes 90 gay porn channels. While the ASG network itself has continued to expand with new channels and content, a closer look shows that Next Door Buddies has slowed its own update pace since our last review in June 2024.

This site focuses on guy-next-door types, mostly athletic jocks and muscle hunks with gym-built bodies. You can expect plenty of handsome guys with chiseled pecs, ripped abs, strong shoulders and arms, and firm butts, and while performers are certainly muscled, they're not the size of competition bodybuilders. There's a good mix of smooth and hairy bodies, many men are clean-shaven but there are some with facial hair, as well as guys with tattoos and others with no ink. Most of the performers here range from their twenties to their early thirties.

Next Door Buddies introduced us to newcomers and first-timers just breaking into the business and doing their debut scenes, and while some come and go pretty quickly, others become mainstays who develop full-blown gay porn careers. Some of the regulars who have appeared in recent scenes are Ryder Owens, Nico Coops, Trevor Harris, Kam Stone, Calvin Michaels, Kyle Wyncrest, Ben Masters , Derek Kage, Logan Aarons, Trevor Brooks, and Michael Flex. But others like Brandon Anderson, Carter Woods, and Dakota Payne appear regularly, along with so many others. You'll find lots of your past favorite gay porn hunks here, as well - guys like Quentin Gainz, Markie More, Mark Long, Connor Maguire, Brenner Bolton, Lucas Knight, Colt Rivers, and Darius Ferdynand. Scott Finn was also a regular here until his death late in 2025 and appeared in 142 network scenes.

In recent years, Next Door Buddies has settled into a much more couple-focused formula. Most of the content released throughout 2024 and into 2025 features duos, with only the occasional threeway or larger group scene mixed in. The early emphasis on side-by-side jerking and experimental first-time play is largely gone, replaced by straightforward two-guy encounters that often ease into oral and anal action. While a handful of threeways and rare fourways still appear, they’re now the exception rather than the rule. Scenes usually rely on simple, low-key setups — roommates fooling around, workout buddies pushing things further, or competitive scenarios that quickly turn sexual — keeping the emphasis on familiar pairings rather than group dynamics.

Next Door Buddies has grown slightly since our last visit, increasing from 913 to 927 exclusive videos, all in MP4 format. Most scenes run between 30 and 45 minutes. Videos are available to both stream and download in a wide range of resolutions, with the newest releases offered in up to 2160p (4K / Ultra HD). Other available sizes include 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), 540p (qHD / SD+), plus four smaller SD and mobile-friendly sizes for slower connections or smaller screens. Only the most recent updates are available at the largest 4K size, while older videos top out at lower resolutions. All scenes can be streamed in a responsive player that adjusts to your device, with higher-resolution files looking best on larger screens and older, lower-res videos better suited to phones and tablets.

Each episode comes with a picture set. Most of the pics are digital stills, the newer are good quality at 1280x1920 (or reversed for landscape orientation), and older ones are average quality and sized at 800x1200; a few of the oldest sets have sets of average quality screencaps sized at 720x528 or 320x240. The picture viewer does have forward and back controls as well as a hands-free slideshow feature. Downloadable zip files are available or you can save individual pictures if you prefer.

Next Door Buddies has clearly slowed its update pace since our last review in June 2024. The video count has only moved from 913 to 927, and looking at the release dates tells the same story: 11 videos were published in 2024, followed by 10 videos in 2025, and nothing so far in 2026. The latest update appears to have been posted in November 2025, so while the site was still active through last year, it’s now running at roughly about one update per month at best — and may currently be paused.

The good news is that you now get full access to the entire ASG Max network which offers Next Door Buddies and 90 other gay porn sites and collections (they call them channels), including all of the Next Door Studios sites, Active Duty, Extra Big Dicks, Men Over 30, and lots more. Altogether there are 13,150 videos here and they add a new one every day. So this is quite a boon for members.

Let's talk about issues. There's a pre-checked offer on the right side of the billing page, but it's easy to unclick if you're not interested. When joining the site, you are automatically signed up to receive commercial and update emails with no way to opt out at the time you join. If you hit your browser's back button from the billing page, a popup with a fake rep may appear. There's a lot of advertising in the members area, and when logging in you'll pass through a full-page ad, but thankfully the "No Thanks - Continue to Member's Area" links are easy to spot on the top and bottoms of the page. One last thing to be aware of is that members must cancel their memberships at least 48 hours in advance; otherwise you'll be rebilled one last time after cancelling.

Finally, a couple of words about pricing and membership options. The $5.00 option is a 30-day membership, but it's streaming only, and it recurs at $19.95 monthly. The 30-day option is an introductory half-price offer at $14.95, and while it includes both streaming and downloads, it does recur at the regular rate of $29.95 monthly.

Next Door Buddies still has plenty to offer, with 927 exclusive videos that full members can stream, download, and watch on their mobiles. The guys are exactly what the site has always promised — well-built, athletic, and clearly up for the action — and while some of the older scenes lean more toward solo play, the newer releases have long been firmly hardcore, with plenty of oral, fucking, and cum shots. Updates at Next Door Buddies itself have slowed to roughly around one video per month at best, but membership also includes access to the much larger ASG Max network, which adds 90 bonus gay porn sites and collections and 13,000+ additional videos that update daily. Taken together, the combination of solid in-house content and extensive network access still makes Next Door Buddies a good-value option for fans of all-American jocks and tattooed studs.
