Seth’s Story

Ali, Izzy, and Freddy were hanging bells and white crepe paper around River and Che’s new house, while I set up breakfast for all the guys. I brought a stool so Freddy could reach all the cabinet handles and hang the decorations, the other two were handing the decorations up to him. It was a big day! River and Che were moving into their new home, less than a half mile away from our place. First Brody and Max, then me and Zach, then Craig and Colton… add Ella, Caleb, and all our kids and we had built an awesome community out in the middle of nowhere. Now… River and Che (AKA Wibbo and Cheese) were adding to our community again. Everyone was excited for them, but the excitement came to a quick stop when Che was shot in the line of duty. Thank god his Kevlar vest stopped the bullet, he got away with some cracked ribs and a minor head injury… he was hurt, but he survived. I’ll save you all the details, but the bottom line: Che was on the mend, their cabin was ready for them to move into, and we had a wedding to celebrate. Yup! They stopped off at The Court House on the way home from the hospital and got married… me and Zach were there as witnesses.

Riv gave me the code to the front door so we could let ourselves in to set up the food. I had to admit, their cabin was cute! When we got there, every, single, damn, flat surface was covered with flower arrangements they had brought over from the hospital. Me and Freddy moved some of them off the counter and down onto the floor to make room, and then we set up breakfast on the island in the kitchen, I couldn’t help but admire the open floor plan, it was the prefect little place for them. While we were setting up, we heard a horn beep outside and wen to check things out. Colton had driven up the long gravel drive, parked next to the Atlas and was yelling from the car “Hey, can I get a hand?” Word of Che and River’s surprise nuptials spread through our village like freaking wildfire. Colton baked a wedding cake to help them celebrate, and had it on his back seat, it was huge! I helped him get it out of the car and carry it to the kitchen, Freddy ran ahead of us and cleared a space on the granite countertop so we could set the big cake down.

Izzy looked at the cake with side eyes, “Ali wants to eat dat.”

“Oh, he does?” Colton asked with a chuckle, “I bet you want some too.” She just nodded with a serious look on her tiny face. “You guys can have some later, when River and Che get here” Colton told her. Then he pulled a rolled up cloth, out of his pocket, put it on the counter, and unrolled it to reveal a cake topper.

Instantly, Izzy exclaimed “Dat Wibbo and Cheese!”

“Yup, it goes on top of the cake, then we gotta put some more frosting around it.”

“Oh my god, where’d that come from?” I asked chuckling. It was a perfect replica of the two guys, one little groom with darker skin in a police uniform (and a tiny bandage on the back of his head), and another little groom with reddish skin, and jet black hair in a ponytail.

“We ordered a few different ones to choose from for our wedding cake, this was a leftover. I gave it to Brody last night and he hand painted it… isn’t it cool?” Colton asked as he set the topper on the counter and pulled some cake decorating tools from his backpack.

“I want to play wif doze Bawbie’s” Izzy said excitedly looking at the tiny grooms.

“Yeah, me too” Ali chimed in.

That’s so cool!” Freddy said as he continued to decorate the little cabin.

“That’s gonna go on top if the cake” Colton explained, “You wanna help me finish it?” He asked Izzy.

He was speaking her language… cake… little dolls… helping!!! All her favorite things rolled into one (If she had been wearing a princess dress she’d be in a state of total euphoria). She was all in. Her eyes were so wide, and she was shaking with excitement! “Yeah, I hewp” She answered. Colton explained to her what they had to do, he filled a pastry bag with icing, then showed Izzy how to work it. He lifted her up so she could reach the cake, she squeezed some frosting out of the bag onto the top of the cake. Colton used it like glue as he set the Che topper in the frosting, then he let Izzy put River next to Che. Next, he stood Izzy on the countertop while he showed her how to make an icing flower at the feet of the two grooms, He made several on the top of the cake, then he let Izzy try. Ali and Freddy both got a turn too… after that they took turns until the cake was covered in white frosting “flowers.” It looked like hell!!! The flowers were all uneven, and kind of not-exactly-flower-looking, Colton’s once elegant cake was kinda ugly now, but it was clearly made with love. I loved how the Villagers all included the kids in everything… god, my kids were so loved. They were all still working on the cake when we heard the pickup trucks coming up the drive, Freddy and Ali ran out to meet them, but Izzy wasn’t leaving that cake for nothin’! She had Colton’s full attention and was in her happy place.

I had just finished setting up breakfast, and went out to help the guys unload leaving Izzy and Colton to their cake decorating (I doubt Izzy even noticed I left). Out in the yard, things were already chaotic with villagers unloading the pickups full of boxes and furniture. There were several trucks but most of the stuff was in our truck, Max’s truck, and Ricky’s truck, the others were all close to empty, the guys didn’t own that much stuff. While everyone was unloading the trucks, Hugo and River were unloading Che out of his Bronco. The poor guy, you could tell he was inpain, but he was determined to finish this move. With Hugo on one side and River on the other, Che made his way into the house. As soon as River and Che entered their new home, Izzy yelled, “Wibbo and Che! You mawwied, we maked dis cake!”

Ali followed up with, “yeah, we doo’d dat!” When Ali came to us, he didn’t talk much, but when he did speak his diction was perfect. However, like everyone else around her, Izzy rubbed off on Ali. He picked up some of her speech patterns (I’m rolling my eyes as I say that)… we were working on that.

The guys both laughed as they stood at the door and looked around at the bells and crepe paper that were just kinda half-assed hung everywhere… but obviously hung with love. Che looked at River and said, “I been waitin’ a coupla months to carry you over dis threshold. It sucks that I can’t.”

River looked into his husband’s eyes and said, “I’m just happy as fuck that you’re alive.”

It was such a cute, heartwarming moment that was ruined by hurricane Izzy. “Wibbo, ‘Fuck’ a vewy bad wode. Don’t say ‘fuck’ it bad.

Of course, all the guys laughed, but Zach was standing behind River and Che with boxes in hand and immediately yelled, “Izzy! You know better!” Izzy had found a loophole in our no swearing rule… she said bad words to call out bad words (and there were a lot to call out with our crew). We’d talked to her about her a million times. This time Zach sat her in timeout. Our kids were awesome and well behaved most of the time, timeout’s were a big deal and taken seriously at our house. Izzy dutifully went to the corner and stood facing the wall.

River and Che made their way into their new home. Ricky and Timmy were right behind them carrying an overstuffed chair into the living room for Che. Hugo helped Che over to the chair. It was interesting to watch Hugo around Che, his brush with death had scared the kid. Hugo played tough, but he was just a scared kid inside. Che got him off the streets and he kind of, well imprinted on him like a baby duckling. Che was his role model (thugs helping thugs I guess you could call it). In some ways, Che’s accident was as rough on Hugo as it was on River, frankly, I was happy to see the kid show empathy and compassion for someone else… Hugo could be cold as fuck.

Well, Che was in his chair, Izzy was in the corner, and Colton was in the kitchen trying to salvage his cake. The rest of us went out to the trucks and carried load after load of stuff into the tiny cabin. We had a lot of people and made quick work of it, by the time Max showed up with their kids to help, we were done. So… we do what we do best… we hung out and ate. I was dishing out the food when I looked up and saw that Izzy had sneaked from her timeout corner to Che’s lap. All I did was look at her and she instantly defended herself in the sweetest voice, “I in timeout wif Cheese.” Ya’ gotta love her logic. I looked at Che and asked if he was okay with her on his lap, he just nodded and kissed her on the head. Like I said, my kids were so loved.

The rest of that afternoon was spent unpacking boxes, and celebrating Che and River. Eventually the rest of the village showed up (BA, Daddy, Kelly, Nathan, Riley, Eli, Gina, Dylan, et al.). Gina, Kelly, and BA filled their refrigerator and freezer with meals for the two guys. By the time we left, the guys were all moved in. Their ratty furniture looked out of place in the sparkling new house, but they had a plan to get new furniture once the tiny houses were delivered and could live with the other stuff until then. They were both just glad to be home..

It was so satisfying for me to see the villagers start to come into their own; every one of them gave back in some way… this is what Max and I envisioned when we started The Village.

There was one point when me and Hugo were outside moving the kitchen table together and I asked him how he was doing. He told me how excited he was to be moving into Che and River’s old apartment, and how great things were going with life in general.

“I meant how are ho doing with Che?”

He looked at me like a grew a flipping third eye. “I’m fine with Che, why wouldn’t I be, man?” It was clear that he was embarrassed that he let his more vulnerable side show.

“It’s okay to give a shit about other people, Hugo. It doesn’t make you any less tough.”

“I may be gay, but I aint no faggot” he said defensively. I know he grew up around a lot of machismo, and toxic masculinity… so did Che, it’s probably why he felt so connected to him.

“Do, you think I’m a faggot?” I asked with a grin. “Seriously, look at all these guys around you… they may be gay, but they’re all good men. No, Great men.” We ended up having an impromptu session. He told me what being a man was all about from his point of view, and how being gay didn’t fit that definition. We talked a lot about what it meant to be a man. It was the most honest, open discussion we had ever had. I felt like Hugo had a breakthrough that afternoon. He even hugged me. Hugo never did that before.

At the end of the day, we were loading up the vehicles when Gina suggested that Izzy and Ali come home with them for a sleepover. “You sure you’re up for it?”

“Yup. They’ve been running around all day; they’ll fall asleep at dinner” Gina laughed.

“Freddy can stay at our place” Max offered. “It’s been a while since him and Teddy had a sleepover.” I was all in. The awesome thing about the kids doing sleepovers was that they all could fit in each other’s clothes… we didn’t even have to pack bags.

Zach walked up just in time to hear the end of the conversations, “Are we gonna be kidless tonight?” he ask with wide eyes and a huge, dimpled smile.

“You’ll pay for it next weekend” Gina laughed. “We’re sending our kids to your place.”

“You can have Freddy too” Brody joked.

“DEAL!” Zach almost yelled. “I love it when they’re all there!” He really did. We both did, our house was meant to be full of kids. But, that night, it was gonna be just me and Zach... which never happened. We loaded our kids up in the cars of our/their friends, kissed them goodnight, then sent them all off on sleepovers. Then we went back into the house to help the guys finish putting their stuff away, by the time we left they were pretty much settled in their new place. I was damn proud of them, and damn proud of the other villagers for being there for them.

Zach and I both had our vehicles at the cabin, so we drove home separately, I beat him there. It felt so strange being in the house alone, that never happened! Well, it didn’t last long, Zach came home a few minutes later. I was already in the kitchen trying to figure out what to make us for dinner and had my head in the fridge. Zach came up behind me and put his arms around my waist, then gave me a gentle kiss on the neck. “Watcha’ doin’?”

“Trying to find something for dinner.”

“Fuck that. We’re kidless! Let’s go out.”

“Really?” I asked, we hadn’t been out alone in months.

“Yup. Someplace grown up, without a kids menu, and no nuggets.” He said quietly kissing my neck again. Then we talked about our options and decided on this new place on the river.

“I’m jumping in the shower” I said as I shut the refrigerator door and moved towards the staircase.

“Not alone, you aren’t” Zach chuckled as he gave my ass a smack and chase me up the steps like we were two little kids. We both shed our shirts as we ran to the bathroom, Zach threw his arms around me and we made out like teenagers, his naked chest against mine… I could smell the day of moving in his arm pits; sweat with a hint of his morning shower. We both shed the rest of our clothes as he kissed passionately… listen, it may sound weird for two guys who had been together for as long as us to be making out in the bathroom, but with three kids and two demanding careers, moments alone were harder and harder to come by so we took what we could get.

Zach’s warm, soft cock was touching my warm soft cock, which turned them both into hot, hard cocks. We were kissing, groping, and fondling the hell outta each other. We parted just long enough for Zach to turn the shower on and me to grab towels out of the linen closet. After our brief break, we jumped under the warm water and picked up where we left off.

“God, I love you” Zach growled breathlessly into our kiss.

“Same” I said appreciating the sentiment, but too lost in my own lust to dwell on it. Our macking got heavy as hail as the water flowed over our bodies, and we ground our hard tools into each other. Damn, it had probably been two weeks since we went at it like that… Che getting shot kinda blew up our world, I had spent a lot of time at the hospital with him, and Zach was busy making sure the guys had all their paperwork in order. Anyway, I needed to get all that out of my head.

I dropped to my knees and was face to face with his wet, dripping magnificence. Seriously, I had limited experience with other guys cocks (mostly Zach’s), but I was convinced that a more perfect cock did not exist. I licked him from balls to tip, then took him in my mouth until his head hit the back of my throat and choked me. With the water falling on me and the lack of oxygen, it felt like I was drowning in Zach’s cock… what a flipping way to go! Zach leaned against the wet, tile wall put a hand on the back of my head, and started to face-fuck me. His hips moved his manhood in and out of my throat with precision and force, when every inch of him was down my throat, and my nose was in his wet pubes, he just held me there, letting me choke… it was surreal and I loved it.

When Zach finally released me and I came up for air, I playfully punched his chest. “Are you trying to fucking kill me?” I chuckled.

“Hell NO! That would leave me stuck alone with those three hellions, I need you alive!” He joked before apologizing and kissing me softly on the lips, then apologizing again and kissing me harder. “Let’s dry off and take this to the bedroom” he whispered. We got out and dried each other off, it was so soft and sensual… intimate times were rare for us lately.

We were both shivering as we got under the covers. Zach disappeared, and I felt his warm soft lips on my cock as he moved down, next thing I felt was hot air from his nostrils on my trimmed bush as he breathed heavily… swallowing me whole. His tongue was circling my shaft as I lie there with my hands behind my head enjoying the quiet intimacy. I noticed the bedroom door was open and had to smile to myself… we were so used to shutting it, locking it, and checking the lock twice to make sure the kids didn’t walk in on us. I got rid of that thought and just enjoyed the ride as Zach worked his magic.

After he brought me to the brink, he reached in the night stand and lubed his hard manhood. I was on my back with my calves on his broad shoulders as he entered me. I yelped a little but then settled into the pleasure of Zach’s slow fuck. He felt so damn good inside me, I did my best to close my hole around him so he felt my presence as much as I felt his. He spat on my cock and stroked me as his pounding got faster and harder. I didn’t last long, “Shit I’m cumming” I yelled as I felt my balls boil over with spunk.

“Louder!” Zach screamed. “There’s no one here… yell louder!”

“FUCK!! I’M CUMMING!!!” I yelled at the top of my lungs, and Zach wailed along with me as we both shot our pent up loads. Zach collapsed on me. We were covered in sweat and cum, and were both laughing.

“When was the last time we fucked with the door open… and didn’t have to muffle our noises?” Zach asked with a laugh.

“A couple of years!” I said in my normal speaking voice, not a whisper. “It felt good.” We loved the hell out of our kids, and would die for any one of them… but damn, it was nice to have a break. We just lie there for a bit catching our breath, my head resting on Zach’s warm chest.

Zach had his arm around me and smacked my ass, “Let’s go. Our reservation is in 45 minutes.” We got up, rinsed off in the shower, then got dressed up for dinner (well, our version of dressed up, jeans with a collared shirt and sport coats. I couldn’t help but admire the two of us in the full length mirror… Damn, I was lucky. I landed the hot jock years ago and he just keeps getting better with age, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect partner for me. We made our way down to Zach’s Jetta (our most kid-free vehicle) and headed to the restaurant. The restaurant was amazing and full of adults. The lights were low, the music mellow, the menu was amazing… not a single flipping nugget on it. Listen, I cannot say it enough… I love my kids! I wouldn’t change my life for anything! But damn, it was nice to have some alone time with Zach.

After dinner, we stopped and got a bottle of wine then headed to the beach. It was dark, cold, and quiet. We just sat in the sand, passed the bottle back and forth, and talked about all the things going on in our world. We talked about work, and laughed as we shared stories about the kids. After that we went home, got into bed, and made love one more time. It was an awesome night.

The next morning, We met everyone out for brunch and picked up our kids. God, I’d missed them. Our quiet night together was so perfect, but then again… so was our life with our three loud kids. I loved my world.

To be continued…
