Our Senior Year and More part 33

About a week later we were sworn in, Josh held the bible for me with mom and dad flanked on either side, Yup another photo op. Maryann was recording it for facebook live, for Josh’s parents to see and she tagged all of us and our friends. Marie and the twins were fidgeting in the front row waiting for my mom to come back to her seat to help. Tommy and the rest of the boys were all there routing me on. Betsy was also sworn in after me and both Jerry and Lee relinquished their seats to us after the ceremony as they both stepped down and Betsy and I stepped up to our new rightful spots on the dais. Nothing gave me more pleasure than staring Lee down, as he passed us both without acknowledging us, Jerry humbly did shake both of our hands once again before leaving, and Lee continued right out the door.

This was also our first “ceremonial” official meeting, where we sat and went over the old business minutes from the last meeting, then asked for any new business from the floor, where we got some congratulatory greetings and welcomes from the locals and businesses alike, and then had a quick vote to adjourn. The other two senior councilmen then stood and shook our hands and both said they looked forward to working with us to make some long awaited changes, now that the old guard is gone.

Life went back to normal for a while and even though the councilman job met only once a month, it still took more work than I thought, as there were many menial little conflicts and making changes wasn’t as easy as I thought, but it wasn’t anything that I couldn’t handle. Trying to please everyone like I had a tendency to try to do, was hard, very hard.

At one meeting, there was a discussion on Founders Weekend that was still a few months away, in the fall. In the past founders weekend was kind of held in various town parks and public buildings and was kind of disjointed where people went to what they wanted and really it grew to lose its purpose of bringing the town together, but there really wasn’t any space or facility large enough to get a gathering that size except possibly the high school football field, but as in the past, that was always nixed because it would be football season and you know how these Friday night lights football teams are, heaven forbid we unravel coach Thompsons field and gym. So plans continued to go as in years past, but I had an idea budding in my mind, but it was too soon to even attempt to suggest it to anyone.

I kept my mind brewing and the next day I caught Tommy as he was jolting through the house and he happened to stop in my office, and I planted a seed in his mind, at first he didn’t see it, but as the next few days went on and my suggestion grew with how it might help his farm out even better, after all it would be fall and the nearby fields would be finished and cut and we already have two large tents and renting more wouldn’t be hard. Soon I had Devin and Josh on board and then the boys from the dude ranch, and then the possibility of expanding it even larger with craft booths and carnival rides, and out of towners could stay at the dude ranch residences and we could charge for horse rides and have an Oktoberfest tent, and a family picnic area and set up one of the corals for family games like sack races, tug of war, horses and the like, we could start on Friday night , oh no wait there’s a football game then and no one would come, ok so Saturday morning and run through Sunday night. Tommy eventually caved in and agreed.

The next day I began making phone calls and ran it by the other council members, who all had additional input as well as some disadvantages but nothing that couldn’t be worked out. Then I started contacting some outside vendors and midway companies, and seeing if there would be any interest. Some of my initial calls were disappointing but eventually I think we had enough interest to build this into something better than years past and its potential to grow yearly, and I could only see it only growing. I did find a rinky dink ride company that would be interested but they said they would need a week not just two days and they could make it work the week we had planned, but I didn’t think the rides would be up to par, as I was looking for a county fair type atmosphere, but I penciled them in anyway. we held an emergency town meeting to get things rolling and basically my idea was looked at as positive. Several store owners were interested in having booths as well, since it would be more or less off site from the town, the local bar wanted to supply the beer and alcohol the restaurants and delis the food, all wanted to issue coupons for their stores and the school band wanted to perform as well as the drama club, the fire dept wanted to display their equipment and wanted to join with some other local fire companies in intramural type games, the church wanted to run a bingo game, it was growing faster than I knew and time would be crucial now, we would need another field for parking but we could possibly cut and prepare the one behind the miniature golf, ice cream, and farm stand that was alongside our home across the road, that would give us more space in the main event area and take care of parking too.

Everything was falling into place and tentative plans were made but when it came time for the final vote, I abstained because of my ties to the ranch, we had a very large turnout for the meeting and it was standing room only, mostly positive with a few negative comments. Then one very arrogant Lee Jeffries came to be a thorn in our side and ranted and raved about how Tommy’s location was outside of downtown and the whole idea was to bring people into town. He went as far to say it would be a gay culture indoctrination. Thankfully his constant demeaning attitude toward the idea began to draw boo’s from the crowd and the town council voted unanimously to hold the event there, which drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd. Lee left in a huff once again.

We sold out all the planned rental booth space to outside vendors. We offered free both space to every business and organization in town that wanted one, including the churches, boy scouts and similar clubs even if they were from neighboring towns, they were non profit and were essential for growth of our youth. Then we had a heated debate on giving a booth to an LGBT organization out of Springfield, feeling this could cause a bit of upheaval especially with Lee, but when we came down to it, their usefulness and need to the communities checked all the same boxes as the others, and the town council opted to allow them in 2 to 1 (I abstained again after making my case), much to my satisfaction, but would this rile up Lee and his cronies again? The midway company that we wound up with trough another councilman’s recommendation turned out to be fantastic and they set up Friday and would stay past Wednesday after the Founders day was over on Sunday night, they would remain open to the public, so we decided that anyone else was welcome to stay  till Wednesday if they wanted to, more than 60% of the outside vendors opted to stay even though the days were slow, it turned out the evenings were busy all week.

On Saturday of founders day morning, Charlotte was fidgeting very early, I wasn’t sleeping very well and Josh was snoring away, and I knew Marie needed to rest even though Josh and I were helpful I still felt we weren’t doing enough. I climbed out of bed and threw on a pair of boxers, so I went to the nursery and tended to her needs. I picked up the little darling as she immediately quieted down when her cheek and ear rested on my naked chest and her thumb found its way to her mouth as I whispered sweet nothings to her and did a slight bounce with her. At that point any remaining stress and worry just magically left my body. It was amazing those kids could either calm me or send me over the edge, I was wrapped around their fingers and I think they knew it. I placed her back in her crib rubbed her back and neck with my thumb a few times and headed back to bed.

Our sex life has become kind of vanilla the past few months, since I was focusing on all my duties and the kids have really been a burden, but in a good way, we just have more or less put sex second in our lives. As I approached the bed I noticed Josh was lying on his back with his eyes closed and an obvious erection under the sheets on MY side of the bed. I flipped the cover off of him to try to climb in and shove him back to his side as his pretend sleeping became a giggle and he struggled to stay on my side so I dropped my boxers and straddled his abdomen and began twisting his nipples with my fingers as his hands split my ass cheeks apart prying at my dry hole. His obvious superior strength was still splitting my ass cheeks with his fingers, as he forced me to roll over exposing my quickly growing hard on. Now he is sitting on my stomach with my hard dick pressed into his back just above his crack, as he leaned down for a kiss as he grinded his warm balls into my abdomen. He pressed his tongue down my throat as he sucked mine out of my mouth and into his. I began to protest that I was tired and we had a big day today and needed to get over to Tommy’s by sunrise. He convinced me it was only 4am and we had plenty of time, as I tried to fight him off, but his insistence as he climbed down my chest with his tongue and onto my abdomen and my no’s became maybe’s, which by the time his warm juicy mouth enveloped my dick became yes, please don’t stop. He worked my dick and balls into a frenzy before scooting back up and lubing me and him in preparation for sitting on my hot hard spear. He slid right on down till those cheeks rested on each of my thighs as he then leaned forward and began a slow rocking in and out. My chin rocked into my neck and chest with each stroke as I tried to hold off the inevitable and began firing my load inside of my husband as his semi erect dick flopped around in my perfect view. I swear I love the sight of his dick as he is riding me and its pleasure of just giving me a bouncing wave each time. He gradually lifted off me letting my dick leave his hole with a pop, as he crawled up my sides placing his semi hardness in my mouth, that initial taste of his scented skin with my lubricating mouths moisture just made me close my eyes as I grabbed his ass cheeks drawing him in further. I opened my eyes and I was staring into his taught abs and his navel and I never really looked at his navel before and yet I was discovering yet another very sexy fold of skin as I let one hand and finger explore the small indentation. He announced his intent on Cuming when he kind of giggled at my prying fingers in his belly button. After he filled my mouth he bent at the knees and lay backwards and I squirmed up depositing some of his load into his belly button and proceeded to lick, and suck out and redepositing it over and over again. I could feel his dick hitting my chest getting all excited again and the wetness of pre cum or else it was post cum brushing cooly on my skin. He just rolled off of me and fell asleep staring at my feet and his feet opposite my head, as I woke up a few hours later to the kids crying I found myself studying his toes and the wrinkles in his feet and ankles.

Marie tended to the morning needs of the kids while Josh and I showered and dressed and headed across the road to Tommy’s for my first Founders Day as town councilman. Most of the work was done Friday night, the vendors were all there as Josh, Tommy, Devin and I made the initial rounds. Later the town council and I made the rounds again. The general public began arriving at promptly at 9am. Tommy and I marveled at the size of the event both participants and crowds. We opened the main gates with the high school marching band leading everyone to the main center field just before the midway where they played the national anthem and we councilmen opened the event. In addition to the rented booths, Hulk and Juan and Sammy were giving horse rides, the high school Band, orchestra and chorus were scheduled to make several appearances on a prebuilt stage, the drama troupe and some local signing groups and a battle of the bands, there were contests for farm animals, pies and preserves. The Ranch caterers were set up selling BBQ lunch and dinner in the ranch food tents. The local bar (which was more of a old man’s biker redneck bar (they were slightly anti gay) had a tent selling beer next to a tent set up for dancing and a couple of contracted country style bands played to the needs of country folk, I tried like hell to get them to play some 70’s music and my attempts at trying to request disco failed miserably to Josh’s laughter. There was corn hole, horseshoes, antique cars and farm equipment, and an area for kids and adult games (not that kind of adult games, come on get yer minds out of the gutter) there were sack races, you should have seen Hulk try to jump in that potato sack he really just kind of rolled across the field.

Tommy and Devin joined Josh and me in the 3 legged race, somehow they beat us but a bunch of high school kids managed to really come in ahead of us all. The biggest money maker was the dunk tank where many town notables were dunked as well as Tommy, Devin, Josh, myself and oh yeah Hulk who at some point during the day went to the face painting booth and had his face painted green, Damn what a success this all was and it was only the first day.

There was no sign of Lee thank goodness, the LGBT booth had lot of inquiries mostly from people just wanting to understand better and they told me a few confidential high schooler’s approached them for help. They felt it was a great success, that alone made me feel relieved that the booth seemed to be accepted, we did place it in a inconspicuous place just to avoid issues, and those who wanted to avoid it could and did.

A few weeks later it was decided the event was such a grand success that next year we would do it there again and planned on adding to it. We penciled in a week on Tommy’s calendar so planning could be better. We wound up equating it to the county fair, and our goal was to make our founders day celebration better than the county fair and expanding it to a full week. It also exposed the Horse farm and dude ranch to others and outsiders and realized the horses could be for daily hire and you didn’t necessarily have to be staying there, many out of towners were exposed to it. Marie said bookings were full for several weeks before the snow begins to fly. Overall the benefits were better than the heartache and life is good.
