Sunday morning, Tim’s eyes fluttered open. The room was pitch black except for the deep blue of the LED strip for accent purposes. He didn’t need to see much at the moment as he felt Travis’ back tightly pushed against his chest and his buns wrapped around Tim’s morning wood. He wanted to remain there, pressed against his childhood crush. No longer a boy, Travis was now a young man, Tim’s anchor. He wondered where his life would have been without him and dreaded the thought. He smiled as he thought about his fortune, Travis, his friends, they all helped pull him out of the darkness his world had become. He smiled as he thought about it all. Out of necessity, he slowly eased away from Travis and slipped out of bed. He had no choice. He had to relieve himself. He quietly made his way upstairs to the bathroom, using his phone to light the way. As he emerged from the bathroom, he made his way to the kitchen where he began making coffee and then decided to make scrambled eggs, French toast and bacon. It was five AM and the house was quiet except for the sounds Tim was trying not to make. Once the breakfast was ready, Tim pulled two trays from the cabinet and stacked them on top of each other, then crowded the food on the top tray, along with two cups of coffee. He then made his way back downstairs. He set the tray down on a lower stair so he could open the bedroom door and turn on the light. He walked over to the bed and shook Travis’ shoulder, “T, it’s time to get up. We have a busy day ahead of us.” Travis mumbled, “Ten more minutes.” Tim smiled, “You need to get up now, T.” Travis’ eyes opened, then immediately closed, “Turn off the light! It’s too bright.” Tim’s smile widened, “T, I have breakfast made.” Travis rolled over and opened his eyes slightly, “Fuck, it’s bright in here. What time is it?” Tim said, “It’s five-thirty. Now sit up.” Travis asked, “Why?” Tim didn’t reply, he just walked out of the room. Travis called after him, “I’ll be up in a few” but then Tim came back into the room carrying a tray of food. Travis’ eyes lit up and he moved up to sit against the headboard of the bed, “Breakfast in bed? You’re amazing, T!” Tim set the tray on Travis’ lap, setting the cup of coffee on a coaster on the nightstand. Then he left the room again, only to return with the second tray. He put his coffee on the other nightstand, then climbed onto the bed next to Travis with his own tray of food. They scarfed down the food and while sipping their coffee, Travis leaned over and gave Tim a kiss, “Thanks, T. That was delicious.” Tim said, “When I woke up this morning with you cuddled up against me, all I could think about was how lucky I am. My boyhood crush is now my boyfriend. I have so many wonderful friends. I’m soon going to be going to college, and we have a furniture business together.” Travis smiled and said, “Same. I have my boyhood crush as my boyfriend, and have the same group of wonderful friends around me as well as share that lit furniture business. I also have the bravest guy I know as my boyfriend.” Tim countered, “I have an amazing artist as mine. I love you, T.” Travis replied, "And I love you, T,” They kissed again, then Travis began to get up, “I guess I should get ready and help you clean up these dishes before we head to the shop.” Tim climbed off the bed while saying, “I’ll get started on these dishes while you get ready.” They made their way upstairs, Travis setting his tray on the counter before heading to the bathroom. Tim smiled to himself, then rushed to wash the dishes before Travis emerged from the bathroom. When Travis saw that Tim had already washed them, he said, “Hey! No fair. At least let me dry them.”
Travis was just putting the last dish away when Jeremy and Chris walked into the kitchen. Travis said, “Good morning, guys.” They both said, “Good morning, Travis”, then Jeremy asked, “Where’s Tim?” Travis said, “He’s getting dressed. We’re getting ready to leave for the shop. Tim made me breakfast in bed this morning. My boyfriend is awesome!” Chris said, “You’re both awesome, Travis. You’ve both done so much and worked so hard.” Jeremy said, “You’ve given me an idea, Travis, well, you and Tim. Chris, Let’s make breakfast for everyone else, then serve it to them in bed.” Chris smiled, “I like that idea. Let’s do it!” They got busy making scrambled eggs, sausage links, and pancakes. When Tim came up, Jeremy said, “Thanks, Tim.” Tim’s asked, “For what?” Chris replied, "For giving us the idea to serve the other guys breakfast in bed.” Tim smiled, “Oh, that’s great of you. They’ll love it.” Travis said, “Not half as much as I did” before giving Tim another kiss. The sky was just starting to light up as Tim and Travis climbed into the jeep to head to the shop.
As they pulled up, Travis asked, “Did we forget to turn the light off?” Tim then noticed the light on in the work area of the shop. Tim said, “I was sure we turned it off. Fuck! I hope Henry’s not pissed.” As they stepped out of the jeep and went to the door, they found it was unlocked. They both looked at each other in surprise. As they opened the door, a cheerful voice rang out, “Good morning boys.” Henry was already working. Tim smiled, “Good morning, Granpa Henry! You’re working already? You’re making us look bad.” Henry smiled, knowing Tim was kidding him, “Well, Martha is baking, and she wanted me out of her hair, so I’m hiding out here.” Tim and Travis both laughed, then Travis asked, “What’s Granma Martha baking?” Henry smiled, “I’m not allowed to tell you. What I will tell you is that I have some baby back ribs in the smoker for you and the guys for lunch.” Tim said, “That’s what I smelled when we got here. It’s good we just had breakfast or my stomach would be growling right now.” Henry handed a paper to Tim and Travis, “These are the custom requests for the dining room suite for the Davidson order. I’ve already started on the basics for the table legs.” Travis said, “Thanks, Granpa Henry.”
Steven and Stephen were cuddling together in bed, having just woken up to the smell of bacon and other mouth-watering breakfast foods. They were about to get out of bed, when there was a knock on the bedroom door. Steven answered, “Yeah, we’re up. We’ll be out in a minute.” To their surprise, the door swung open and Jeremy came in with a tray and said, “No need” as he brought the tray over. After setting a cup of coffee on the nightstand next to Steven, he set the tray down in Steven’s lap after he moved up to sit against the headboard. Chris was doing the same on the other side of the bed for Stephen. Stephen said, “What a surprise; breakfast in bed.” Steven asked, “What’s the occasion?” Jeremy smiled, “Just a borrowed idea after Tim did it for Travis earlier. Enjoy your breakfast. We have to take a tray in for Elijah.” As Jeremy were heading back out, Steven and Stephen both said, “Thank you.” Then, just as they were closing the door behind them Jeremy and Chris heard Steven say, “This is different, it’s normally us doing the serving.”
As they entered Jeremy’s bedroom, they found Elijah still sound asleep. Jeremy said, “Wake up, sleepyhead” then moved to the bed where Elijah barely stirred. Jeremy set the cup of coffee on the nightstand, then shook Elijah’s shoulder as Chris stood patiently with the tray of food. Elijah eventually opened his eyes, “Something smells good.” Jeremy said, “Sit up, sleepy. Breakfast is served.” Elijah slowly slid up to a sitting position, “What did I do to deserve this?” As Chris set the tray on Elijah’s lap, he looked at Jeremy with a smirk and said, “We’ll think of something.” Jeremy grinned at the comment. They remained in the bedroom, talking as Elijah scarfed down his breakfast. When they emerged from the bedroom, they found Steven and Stephen busy in the kitchen washing the dishes. When he saw the tray of dirty dishes on the tray Jeremy was carrying, Stephen said, “Let me take that.” Jeremy said, “Thanks, Myers. Thank you both for doing the dishes.” Steven said, “You served us breakfast in bed. It’s the least we can do.”
When they arrived at the Reynolds, they found Tim, Travis, and Henry busy making pieces of furniture with smiles on their faces. Henry said, “Good morning, guys. Where’s Carl?” Jeremy said, “He stayed at Chuck’s last night. They’ll probably be here soon.” A few minutes later, Carl and Chuck walked in. After exchanging pleasantries, they headed out to tackle the landscape, mowing, pulling weeds and doing general repairs. Stomachs were rumbling with the scent of the smoker in the air.
Just before eleven, Henry emerged from the shop, made his way over to the grills and fired them up. He then went into the house. A short time later, Henry came back outside, carrying two containers. He had a huge smile on his face. Carl and Jeremy walked up to him. Jeremy said, “How are things going, Henry?” Henry said, “Good, good. I just brought out the barbeque sauces Martha and I mixed up this morning. Want a taste?” They both replied, “Sure.” Henry grabbed a plastic spoon from the box on the picnic table and opened the two containers. He spooned some out of one of the containers and gave each of them a taste. They both made sounds of appreciation. Carl said, “That is delicious!” Then Henry grabbed another plastic spoon and scooped out some of the other sauce. After giving them each a taste, their eyes opened wide and Jeremy said, “Wow, spicey! It’s even better than the first, although I’m a lover of spicier food.” Henry chuckled, They’re almost the same sauce, except the one has a lot more peppers.” Carl said, “They’re both really good.” Jeremy said, “I’m tasting jalapeno and cayenne peppers, but also a sweeter, hot spice.” Henry smiled, “Very good, Jeremy. That would be the red hot chiles.” Then Jeremy said, “I’m not sure if you’re aware, but we’re letting Steven stay with us over the Summer until his dorm is ready in September. I hope that’s ok with you and Martha.” Henry chuckled, “It’s fine with us. Steven’s the one with the brown hair, right? I get confused by which is which, knowing they’re both named pretty much the same. The one you call Myers is the blond local boy, right? The waiter?” Carl laughed, “You nailed it, Henry. It was really confusing at first.” Henry smiled, “They’re both good kids. Does Steven have a job?” Jeremy said, “Yes, sir. He had been working as a waiter at a restaurant near my parent’s house, but when he was looking to transfer, Myers got him a job at Mr. Scavinni’s restaurant.” Henry said, “Ah, yes. Great food there. Stephen, or Myers as you refer to him is one of our favorite waiters, always polite and professional. The reason I asked if Steven had a job was in case he needed the money. I’m thinking about asking Tim and Travis to take on another hand, at least until they catch up with their orders.”
Jeremy and Carl assisted Henry as he removed the ribs and transferred them to the two grills. He handed Jeremy the less spicey sauce and asked him to spread it on the ribs on the one grill, while he spread the spicier sauce on the ribs on the other grill, while Carl continued pulling ribs from the smoker. About twenty minutes from noon, Martha emerged to call out, “Ok, boys. Time to wash up for lunch!” The guys made their way to the shop to wash up and let Tim and Travis know to break for lunch. They then helped Martha bring out the other food, such as potato and macaroni salads, a veggie tray and fresh-cut French fries. Henry and Jeremy served the ribs and everyone sat around the picnic tables silently devouring the food, well, almost silently. There were a lot of ‘mmmm’s’ and compliments to both Martha and Henry.
After they ate, the guys went back to work, Tim, Travis and Henry in the shop, and the others finished up the landscaping and minor repairs. While working in the shop, Henry asked, “When would you boys have time to come with me to the bank?” Tim and Travis looked at each other and shrugged, then Tim said, “Any time we’re not busy here in the shop, although we’re way behind right now. Why?” Henry said, “Well, I’ve gone over things with my bank, and showed them your paperwork, the pending orders, and some of your finances from the company. They’ve agreed to open up a line of credit for you. They just need some signatures. I was thinking that with the line of credit, you may be able to hire a part-time employee to help with the basics, help move things.” Travis asked, “Can we afford it? I mean, we’ve only been paid by the customers who have already received furniture.” Henry said, “That’s why you open a line of credit. It enables you to do business without necessarily having the cash on hand.” Tim then asked, “How would we go about hiring someone, and who might want to work for us? I mean, we’re just starting out.” Henry smiled, “And you started out with a bang. I thought maybe we could hire a kid in high school who’s taking vocational carpentry. I would be something they already want to do, they’ll be making a little money, and on top of that, they’d get some additional training. I’ve already talked to the local voc-tech carpentry teacher, and he thinks there are some students who will be juniors this year that would go for something like that. What do you think?” Tim looked at Travis who shrugged, then asked, “Could you give us a day or two to discuss it, Granpa Henry?” Henry said, “Of course, but should I make the appointment to get the line of credit started? You’ll need that in either case.” Travis said, “Sure. Just let us know when.”
Later that evening, Carl was in the kitchen helping Chuck make lasagna. Jeremy, Elijah, Chris, Steven and Stephen were out back relaxing with a beer. Steven asked, “I wonder where Tim and Travis are. They’re normally here by now.” Jeremy said, “They’re at Travis’ parents, having dinner with them. They won’t be here tonight, so you can sleep in the guest bedroom for a change, because it’s possible that Carl will need his bedroom tonight.”
After stuffing themselves with lasagna, salad, buttered dinner rolls, and chased with red wine, they moved outside to the back yard. After everyone finished their beer, Jeremy volunteered to get them another. Carl got up and said, “I’ll give you a hand carrying them.” Jeremy smiled and said, "Thanks, seven beers would be a lot.” Once they got into the house, Carl grabbed Jeremy’s hand and said, “Hey, I have something I want to talk to you about.” Jeremy looked at Carl and asked, “Is everything ok, Carl?” Carl replied, “Yeah. Well, I hope so.” Jeremy looked at Carl questioningly, “Carl, what is it? You know you can tell me anything.” Carl smiled sheepishly, “I know, Jer. You were my first love, and still my best friend. I hope I have your blessing on this.” Carl looked nervous as Jeremy watched him. Then Jeremy suddenly broke out in a smile, “If it’s what I’m thinking, the answer is yes, so go ahead, spill it.” Carl smiled, “I’m going to propose to Chuck.” Jeremy’s smile widened, “Of course you have my blessing. You’re already engaged.” Carl said, “Yeah, but that seemed so casual at the time. It was more like swapping promise rings, you know, something we could end at any time. I’m sure this time. I’m ready, but there’s more. Once we’re married, I think we’d want to have our own place, not share a house with someone else. Don’t get me wrong, you’re an awesome roommate and all the guys are great. I don’t want to leave you with the burden of the financial hit though. I’m hoping we can work something out.” Jeremy suddenly wrapped Carl in a tight hug, “I’m happy for you, Carl. I’ll figure something out. I only have one semester left before I graduate, so I’ll be working full time then. The finances won’t be a problem after that. There’s also the dorm fees that Elijah will be giving us, or now I guess, me, since he’ll be staying here now. That should be enough to cover things. I’m thrilled for you, Carl.” As they broke their embrace, Jeremy saw tears in Carl’s eyes. Then Carl said, “Thanks, Jer. There’s one more thing.” Jeremy smiled and asked, “Oh, what’s that?” Carl smiled with teary eyes, “Would you do the honor of being my best man?” Jeremy smiled and said, “The honor is mine, and of course I will. So, when will you hit Chuck with this?” Carl said, “There’s no time like the present.” They walked back outside, and Elijah asked, “Where are the beers?” Jeremy held up his hand to silence Elijah as Carl stepped over and took Chuck’s left hand. He pulled Chuck to his feet, then said, “There’s something I need to say to you.” Chuck looked on, bewildered as Carl pulled the engagement ring from his finger. Chuck looked as though he was about to break down in tears, thinking Carl was about to break up with him. Suddenly, Carl dropped to his knees. Then he said, “Chuck, when we decided to get engaged, it didn’t seem like a total commitment to me” then he began sliding the ring back onto Chuck’s finger, “I want to make it a total commitment now and set a date. Will you marry me, Chuck.” This time, actual tears ran down Chuck’s cheeks as he smiled, then said, “Yes, of course I will you dramatic, romantic bastard. You just scared the fuck out of me, and now you’ve made me the happiest I’ve ever been. Get up here so I can kiss you.” Carl did, and they kissed while the others cheered them on. When they finally broke the kiss, Chuck said, “At first I thought you were breaking it off with me and maybe joining the throuple.” Everyone laughed, then Elijah said, “Carl’s a great guy and all, but three is complicated enough, and we have fun with others, but I’m not willing to share these two with someone else.” Jeremy then said, “If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought that little stunt was Elijah’s idea.” Elijah protested, “Not even I would have attempted to pull that off. Your timing was great though, Carl.” Carl laughed and said, “Yeah, Elijah had nothing to do with it, but a little of him may have rubbed off on me though. I decided to do that at the last moment.” Chris said, “I think this calls for a toast. Snake bites?” Jeremy said, “Good idea, Elijah, come in with us so we can grab the beers we left inside.” As they entered the house, Elijah said, “Even I was worried when Carl removed the engagement ring from Chuck’s finger. So, does that mean he and Chuck will be moving in full time, or…” Jeremy said, “They’ll be getting their own place, whether it’s staying at Chuck’s apartment or finding something else.” Elijah said, “I could ask my dad if he could start sending my dorm fees early.” Jeremy said, “That shouldn’t be necessary, Elijah, but thanks. Carl’s going to continue paying his part of the rent at least until September. I’ll be graduating at the end of next semester and will be working full time then, so from a financial standpoint, we’ll be fine.” Chris said, “What if I get a part-time job and officially move in to help with expenses?” Jeremy said, “Thanks, Chris, but I’d rather you stay focused on your college work.” When they returned outside, Elijah handed everyone a beer, and Jeremy and Chris handed out the shots. They raised their glasses, and Jeremy said, “To Carl and Chuck, congratulations on your commitment.” The others repeated, “To Carl and Chuck” then they downed their shots. They sat around and talked until Carl and Chuck finished their beers, then Carl said, “Well, Chuck and I are heading inside, have a good night guys.” Elijah grinned, “You’re supposed to consummate it AFTER you get married.” Chuck turned back with a grin and said, “Traditions are overrated.” The guys laughed.
They went in and brushed their teeth before going into the bedroom. As soon as the door closed behind them, Chuck said, “I love you”, before moving in to kiss Carl deeply. As they continued to kiss, they began undressing each other. Once they were fully naked, Chuck pushed Carl back onto the bed and immediately began planting kisses from Carl’s lips, down to his inner thighs, moving past Carl’s throbbing cock causing Carl to groan in frustration. Chuck gave him a mischievous smile before moving up to lick his ample nuts. After giving Carl’s balls plenty of attention, Chuck moved up and began licking Carl’s leaking cock from base to tip, relishing the sweet nectar oozing from the tip of his cock. At the end of each lick, Carl’s cock jumped with excitement. Chuck grinned as he was enjoying the response he was getting. Carl inhaled sharply with a, “Fuuuuck” when Chuck took him into his mouth and began moving up and down on him. After several minutes, Carl said, “Keep it up and you’ll have a mouthful soon.” Chuck knew when Carl was getting close and pulled down on his balls. Carl said, “Fucker! Stop teasing me.” Chuck suddenly pulled off Carl’s cock and climbed up for another kiss, saying, “I’m not ready for you to cum yet. I want this to last.” After kissing for a bit, Carl rolled them over and slowly planted kisses on Chuck, spending time on his nipples, licking and nibbling on the hard nubs, before moving down his chest to his abs. He tongue-licked Carl’s belly button before moving down to his balls, then back up to his stiff cock. He licked the shaft for a while, then teased him by licking just the head as he looked up at Chuck who was watching him with a grin. Carl eventually took Chuck’s cock into his mouth getting a “Finally” from Chuck. Carl almost choked as he fought back laughter. After several minutes, Carl climbed around into a sixty-nine and Chuck said, “Yeah, let’s get this show on the road.” They began humming and moaning on each other’s cocks while slowly working fingers into each other’s holes. Chuck could tell that Carl was getting close. His own nuts were churning, getting ready to release their seed. They came almost simultaneously, filling each other’s mouths with their baby batter. When they had dribbled out the last of their loads, Carl moved back around and they shared a kiss, mixing their DNA in each other’s mouths. They then cuddled together, periodically kissing each other’s necks, ears and shoulders, and of course, lips, never losing their hardness. Then Chuck said, “I want you inside me, Carl. Fill me with your baby makers, breed me, babe.” Carl smiled at Chuck, then brought his legs up onto his shoulders. He took the lube from his dresser drawer, saying, “I’m surprised it was still here” before lubing his cock and Chuck’s eager hole. Carl then pressed inside, slowly. Once he was pressed tightly up against Chuck’s upturned ass, they stared into each other’s eyes as Carl began a slow tug out then slow push back inside Chuck. He gradually increased his pace until he found a rhythm that wasn’t too slow nor too fast as they kept their eyes locked together. Chuck sighed, “Yeah, right there. Fuck yeah. Give it to me, Carl. I love you inside me, making love to me.” Carl said, “I love being inside you, being a part of you. I love you, Chuck.” Chuck smiled, “And I love you, Carl. Fill me with your seed, babe.”
Later that night, at the Sterling residence, Tim and Travis kissed as Tim rhythmically made love to Travis while trying to keep quiet. Travis was whining into Tim’s mouth as Tim’s cock raked across his prostate. Then Travis moaned loudly into Tim’s mouth as Tim felt Travis’ cock pulsing between them and the warm cum pumping from his cock filling the gaps between their bodies. That was all it took for Tim to begin filling Travis’ love canal with his seed, grunting into Travis’ mouth. When he emptied his balls of the last of his seed into Travis, and they were catching their breath, there was a tap on Travis’ bedroom door. They both froze. Travis’ mom then said, “We’re going to bed. Goodnight, boys.” There was a pause, then Travis said, “Goodnight, mom.” Tim then said, “Goodnight, Mrs. Sterling.” As they heard her move down the hall, they both began snickering into each other’s necks.
