Stunned at this statement, Bryan got out "What? what about Mitchell?"

"Mitchell and I are not together. We just say that just to see how you react to it."Patrick said. "Please forgive me Bryan. I love you. Mitchell was in it."

Bryan just stared at his friend of 14 years in disbelief.

"I thought you said that you were straight." Bryan said in shock.

"I only say that because I was scared that you wouldn't accept the fact that I have feelings for you.I try denying the fact that I am gay but I cannot deny anymore. I love you. I am in love with you.

Autumn, Patrick's cousin just stare at her cousin in disbelief. "You know what?" she said. "I am going inside to get second slice of cheesecake. Bryan. You wanna come?

"Ya I will be a minute." Bryan answered. He turned to Patrick and slapped him across the face.

"You cannot just come out of the blue and say that you are in love with me. You can't."

Stunned "Bryan, please listen to me." Patrick said. "I am sorry. I am sorry I lied to you about my sexuality. I am sorry that I am an ass." "Please forgive me?" Patrick said.

Bryan sighed. He looked at Patrick's face and saw that Patrick have those blue eyes that looked like a puppy pout face. Bryan grinned. "You know that I can never say no to you right?"

"Yeah" Patrick managed to get out.

"Good" Bryan said. "Because I do love you Patrick. Even if you are an ass for trying to convince me that you are with Mitchell. "Anyways what you love about me?" Asked Bryan

"Hmmmm" Patrick said. "I like the fact that you can swim, play the piano, cello, violin." " I like the fact that you always there for me no matter what even if I am acting like an ass." "I like the fact that when you think really hard, you bite you lower lip." " I like the fact that you try to act like you don't love more than a friend when you actually do.

"That is all true" Bryan said. "What else?"

"I don't know. I love your eyes, you smile. How you are with me you make me feel like I am the only person in the world."

"Yeah?" Bryan asked

"Yeah" Patrick replied. He stepped closer to Bryan. "You want to know a secret?"

"What is that?" Bryan asked.

Patrick grinned. "I always wanted to kiss you."

"Really" asked Bryan. "What's stopping you now?"

"Oh, just noisy relatives." Patrick said. He pointed towards the window.

I turned and saw that Patrick's parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and Mitchell were watching us.

I grinned. "Let's give them a show then." I pulled Patrick close to me and I kissed him. He was surprised at first then return my kiss.

As soon as we came up for air, I grinned. "That was long overdue."

"I know." Patrick said." "Forgive me?"

"For what?" I asked smiling like an idiot

"For waiting for so long to do that." Patrick said. "I was afraid of how you will react to this."

"Dude, you know that I am gay." Bryan said. "You know that I will be here for you no matter what right?"

"Yeah." Patrick said. "But I didn't know that you feel the same way about me. " "I was scared that I might put our friendship I jeopardy when I wanted to say the things I said to you know."

"Yeah." Bryan said. "I know." "The only person that knows about my crush on you were Autumn, Amanda and Aubrey."

"Really." Patrick asked. "Why them?"

"They saw me the way I looked at you and when you left and they suspected that I love you more than a friend." "So they asked me about it."

"Huh." Patrick said. "Who would have guess that my best friend is in love with me?"

"Yeah." Bryan said. "No one would." "Anyways do you want to keep it a secret?"

'Nah." Patrick said. "But let's not flaunt it either." "If they asked, we will answer truthfully." "Deal?"

"Deal babe." Bryan said. As soon as Bryan said that, he blushed. "Sorry about that. It totally slipped out."

"Hey look at me." Patrick said. "It is cute that you say that. I love it."

"Really?" Bryan asked.

"Yeah." Patrick said.

"Let's go back inside." Bryan said.

"OK" Patrick said. With that they both went inside hand in hand. As soon as they opened the door, Patrick's family members wolf whistle and congratulate me on being with Patrick. Among those people, it was Mithchell. Patrick turned to Mitchell.

"Thanks man. You were awesome. Great job."

Mitchell took a bow. "Thanks man." "I knew that those acting classes will come in handy eventually.

Patrick grinned. "Thanks again man."

"No problem." Mitchell said. "Here's a toast to Bryan and Patrick."

"To Bryan and Patrick." Patrick's relative replied.

Bryan grinned and look at Patrick. Patrick smile back at Bryan.

How could I be so lucky? Bryan thought.

Patrick leaned in to Bryan and kissed him.
