Videos are available to stream and download in three sizes: 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), and 480p (SD), and typically run between 10 and 20 minutes. Streaming is smooth, with mobile-compatible playback across devices. As expected with vintage content shot decades ago on film, quality varies — many scenes look surprisingly good for their age, but they don’t match the sharpness of modern productions. Audio is generally decent, though a few scenes show minor issues, likely due to the age of the original recordings.

Retro Males offers 119 picture sets in their own section. Some are production stills from a particular movie, but you'll also find copies of ads or flyers advertising the videos when they were new, which is neat. And most of the galleries feature a particular porn star including Rick Donovan, Bob Blount, and Jack Wrangler. Photo sizes are all over the map with the smallest at 236x317 and the largest at 1200x1803. Quality varies, but considering they were shot on film, I'd say they're actually pretty good. You can save the pictures individually or download whole sets in zip files, and you can navigate from pic to pic using the arrows, and there is now a slideshow feature. Also each video comes with a set of screencaps you can save individually.

When it comes to updates, it's hard to give specific details because the episodes aren't dated. However, the site has added 41 videos since our last visit in October 2024, which works out to just over two videos per month. That’s a slower pace than what we observed previously, but still shows the site is continuing to grow steadily.

Members get access to bonus sites in two areas. There are 2,864 bonus vids via the STUDIOS selection and more in the BONUS section. Under the STUDIOS section you'll find SDBoy featuring amateurs and military guys from San Diego, StraightMenXXX, SpunkU and SwinginBalls. Let's talk about issues. There's a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but it's easy to uncheck if you're not interested. The big change is download limits 30- and 90-day members get 10 downloads per month while yearly members can download up to 15 videos monthly. There is still a 40 GB daily download limit and the site doesn't allow more than five videos at a time, but given the new limits, neither may ever come into play. If you go over, your account will be temporarily frozen, and you'll need to contact them to reset your account. There are some ads on the pages and an upsell link on the navigation bar. And last, be aware that when joining, members automatically agree to receive commercial emails with no way to log out while joining.
