For those of us who have lost a parent, this chapter might be a bit difficult.  We will explore feelings, futures, and yes there will be some sex too.  There will also be a few twists and turns along the way.  Thank you for reading. I am planning on catching you all up on others in this and the next chapter too.

The next few hours were a blur for me, and I can only imagine how they were for Hudson and Jimmy.  My mom immediately sprang into action, making calls, notifying work she would be out for the week and what was going on with the family.

The sheriff arrived and we might finally get some answers to what happened.  However, it would not change the fact that Cheryl Nash was gone.  She may not have been mother of the year, but she was still their mother.  The sheriff called and asked if it would be possible for us to come down to the station.  We agreed this would probably be best.  Jackie was entertaining Jimmy now or maybe he was entertaining her.  They were engaged in a serious tournament of Mario Kart. That left mom, dad, Hudson and me to head to the sheriff’s office.

It was a quiet ride; we arrived and entered.  The sheriff asked us to come back to his office.  There was another man present, and the sheriff introduced him as Special Investigator Jack Brinks with the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Mr. Brinks then took over, he explained this was a multi-jurisdictional case.  The he said, “before I get ahead of myself, let me say to you Hudson, I am sorry for your loss”.  Hudson nodded, I am not sure if he was numb or just being stoic.  Mr. Brinks then said, “so here is what we know, Ms. Nash was somewhere near San Angelo, Texas.  She met with Troy Nash, who was being paroled.  Together they made their way across Texas, through Dallas, to San Antonio, and eventually Houston.  That is where we found your mother Ms. Nash.  She was found in a house belonging to a Sam Nash, he is the one who reported a break in and local police found her”.  Hudson said, “who is Sam Nash””?  Mr. Brinks said, “he is the son of Troy”.  Hudson reached for my hand.  Mom spoke up and said, “I’m sorry Mr. Brinks, may we have a minute, this may be a bit overwhelming, we were unaware that Troy had other children”.  Hudson said, “it’s ok Mrs. Tucker, I can handle this”.

Mr. Brinks went on to explain that Cheryl and Troy were likely using, and tried to rob a bar.  Cheryl was shot and likely passed sometime shortly after, and Troy then took her to Sam’s place.  Sam was out on deployment but got an alert that his alarm was tripped and he notified the local police.  Hudson said, “deployed”?  Mr. Brinks said, “yes Sam is an Army Ranger, who was in Georgia on a training mission”.   He went on, “we are currently looking for Troy, and if he ever is to contact you, please consider him armed and dangerous”.  Hudson, now laughed, “contact me, ha, that man hasn’t contacted me oh, ever, he went to jail shortly after I was conceived, and showed back up about 5 years later for a week and 9 months later Jimmy was born, he was in our lives a total of about a month, and our mother thought he hung the moon”.  Hudson was keeping it together, but I noticed his grip on my hand tightened when he mentioned Jimmy.

There was now quiet in the room.  Mom said, “gentleman where does this leave us, what can we do now”.  The Sheriff took over and said, “Ms. Nash, has been transferred here and we will need to know how you wish to proceed”.  My dad now stepped in and said, “I will contact Reimer Funeral Home and have them handle everything”.  Hudson spoke up and said, “Mr. Tucker, we can’t afford services”.  Dad said, “son please do not worry about that”.  All Hudson could do was nod.

Special Agent Brinks then said, “there is one more thing, Hudson, in the room next door is Sam, he has come here but only wants to meet you if you are ready and willing”.  Hudson, then squeezed my hand tighter and said lightly, “ok”.

What happened next was almost surreal. Mr. Brinks left and less than a minute later, a more muscley version of Hudson walked through the door in jeans and an army green t-shirt.  My breath hitched and Hudson’s did too.  Hudson had let go of my hand and reached for Sam’s.  They shook hands and just looked at each other, neither speaking.  Then Sam spoke, “Hudson, I’m, um, well, I guess your brother”.  Hudson smirked and said, “um yeah, hello”.  Mom and Dad excused themselves and said they were going to talk with the Sheriff and meet with the Judge, presumably about Jimmy and Hudson.  I told Hudson, I would be right outside if he needed me, but he responded, “please stay”.

Over the next hour Sam explained that Troy was his father and apparently much like Hudson’s mom, she also had a troubled past, and when Sam was 8, she overdosed, which left him in the foster system.  He was taken in and quickly adopted by Gary and Jane Baldwin, they had been unable to have children and raised him.  They were an older couple already in their 50’s.  He went on to explain, it was a stable home, however unfortunately he had a hard time making a connection to them.  They were great people and worked hard to protect him from Troy.  He said after graduation he joined the Army, Gary passed away, Jane moved with her sister to Florida.  Troy would occasionally call him from jail or send him letters.  But he rebuked all contact.  Then a couple weeks ago Troy showed up at his house with Cheryl, he could tell they were both on something, and he told them to leave, or he would call the police.  They eventually left.  Then Sam went out on maneuvers and that’s when his home alarm went off and everything happened.

Hudson just set and listened a bit, then shared some about him, how he and Jimmy lived with her until she took off, but it was not an isolated incident, and they both now live with the Tuckers.  Setting there listening to their stories, just made my heart hurt for Hudson and Jimmy, and well no Sam too.

Mom and Dad returned and asked Sam if he would like to come back to the house and stay with us.  He looked a bit perplexed and said he had a motel.  Mom would hear none of it, she said, there was plenty of room and he is welcome there.

We drove back to the house and Hudson asked for time alone with Jimmy to talk to him.  He went in we waited on the porch.  A couple minutes later Hudson popped his head out, and asked mom to come in.  She went in.

After about ten minutes Mom and Jimmy appeared holding hands and Hudson behind them.  Mom said, “would you all join us I the living room”.  We went in and set down, Jimmy set beside mom and dad set on the other side of him, Hudson and I took the other sofa and Sam a chair.  Just then Jackie entered with drinks and cookies that she and Jimmy made while we were gone.  Everyone chatted a bit and it was getting toward dinner time, at the mention of food, I heard Hudson’s stomach growl.  This made me chuckle.  Mom asked if pizza would be ok.  It seemed to be a popular choice.

As Jimmy was glued to mom, Hudson was to me, not holding hands or anything overt just close, all we needed was to exchange a glance and he knew I was there.  After dinner mom and dad went into the living room, Jimmy joined them and they began watching TV.  Jackie had some work to do, so Hudson, Sam and I went out by the pool.  We learned a bit more about Sam, he is 25 and a part of the 75th Army Ranger Regiment.  We continued to chat, Hudson and I drank tea, and Sam had a couple of beers.

Hudson told him all about baseball, his upcoming game, school, and even the college visit.  Sam actually seemed proud, he smiled and was inquisitive about Hudson, and even Jimmy.  He then said, “man this is just so awesome, I never expected this, like to have other family, and don’t take this wrong, but damn we look a lot alike”.  Hudson just snickered and said, “yeah we are lucky handsome dudes”.  This seemed to break the wall down a bit more.  The conversation flowed a bit.  Then Sam asked if Hudson had a girlfriend.  Hudson just quietly said, “uh no, not anymore”.   Hudson then said, “how bout you”?  Sam, hesitated and said, “uh girlfriend no, not for me man”.  Hudson nodded.  Sam then said, “so ummm, you two”.  Hudson said, “uh us two what”.  Sam made an all too familiar snicker and said, “well to be blunt, how long have you two been a thing, together, in love”.  I decided to let Hudson field this one.  It was quiet for a moment, and Sam said, “sorry, I may have overstepped, I am usually pretty good at reading situations, but I know how it is to keep things hidden”.  Hudson then quietly said, “well since sometime during sixth grade”.  Sam about spit out his beer.  I looked at Hudson and he said, “yeah Austin just knew way before I did, just took me a bit longer”.

Sam just smiled.  Hudson said, “so what do you mean you know all too well how to keep things hidden”.  Sam said, “well cards on the table, I have a partner too, we were in the same regiment in Rangers, but he got out in January, and my term is up in June, and I am not reenlisting.  Well, that is if the current situations allow me too not”.   Hudson just looked at him and said, well I guess we have more in common than a sperm donor.  They both laughed.  We were all getting tired, we showed Sam into the spare room in the pool house, he just laughed and said, “pool house spare room huh”.  We said our good nights and headed up to bed.

We got to the room to find Jimmy, Loki and Max in the other bed.  We just looked at each other and smiled.  We brushed our teeth and Hudson went to the other bed and kissed Jimmy on the forehead.  He woke up and said, “Hi, ok if I sleep here”.  Hudson said, “absolutely Jimster, love you buddy”.  He smiled and said, “ok, you guys don’t use it anyhow”. We just laughed and climbed into bed.  We kissed and cuddled up together.  I held him a little bit tighter.  In the middle of the night, I heard Jimmy get up and use the bathroom and come back to bed.  I heard him quietly talking to Loki who had followed him.  They climbed back in bed, and he was talking to Loki thanking him for always being there for him.  This brought a tear to my eye.  Hudson then stirred a bit and wiggled back a bit closer to me and pulled my arm up and cupped my hand between his and mumbled something and was right back to lightly snoring.

The morning came with Loki jumping out of bed knowing it was time to go.  Jimmy hopped up and I rose off the pillow.  He gave me a wave and said, “going to chore”.  I smiled and said, “see ya buddy”.  Hudson woke up and rolled over to face me.  His long eye lashes were batting at me, and I just looked into his eyes.  He said, one word to me, “thanks”.  I leaned in and kissed him and said, “no thanks necessary”.  We just lay there quietly there were times we did not need words, just to be close.  Then Hudson broke the silence and said, “so I have another brother, and he’s a gay Army Ranger”.  Then he laughed.  I said, “yeah, wild huh”.  Then he turned serious and said, “what do you think is going to happen to Jimmy and me now, is Sam like our guardian, is that why he came here”?  I said, “well Hudson, you are 18 so technically you are an adult, but I think that is where mom and dad went yesterday while were talking to Sam, I’m sure they have plan”.

We eventually got out of bed, showered, dressed and went downstairs.  Mom had breakfast on and welcomed us in.  She immediately went to Hudson and hugged him and said, “how are you baby”.  He leaned in and just said, “I’m good, I have that big lug taking care of me”.  She smiled and winked at me.  Just then Jimmy, Sam and dad burst in the backdoor all laughing, I heard dad say, “I didn’t know you boys could move that fast”, Sam said “well I’ve ran from a lot of things before but never had to run from a momma cow and her new calf”.  I just chuckled and said, “Charlotte”.  Dad chuckled and said, “yup”.  I said, “we’ve all had our run ins with that girl, she’s gentle until she calves, then watch out”.  It was good to hear Jimmy laugh.  He came over to me and whispered, “is Hudson doing ok”.  I hugged him and said, “yeah buddy he is ok, are you”.  He said, “I will be”.  We all set down and ate a big breakfast.

We talked about our day, dad said he was going to make service plans today for anyone who wanted to go with him.  There was a quiet that fell over the room, Jimmy then quietly said, “can I go”.  Dad said, “absolutely if you think you are ready buddy”.  He said, “Hudson will you go too, Hud said, I sure will Jimster”.  Sam said, “I can go if you all want me to, I talked to my commander last night in Georgia and I have been granted a 7 day family bereavement pass, I have coupled that with my built up time that I have to take and I basically have the rest of the month off”.  Somehow this seemed to ease Hudson, maybe it was because he felt like he had a family member that actually cared now.

We all piled in dad’s SUV and headed over to Reimer’s.  The plans would be simple a small friends and family only service at the church and graveside service.  They asked about writing an obituary, Hudson was kind of unsure how to do it, but they had a form that I helped him fill out, her parents were gone, and she had a sister somewhere in California that she had not spoken to in Hudson’s lifetime.  It was short and to the point, there was no mention of Troy.  I got the feeling that they all kind of hoped he would be caught and put back in prison soon.

We returned to the farm.  Sam got a phone call and he took it outside.  He came in and said, “would it be too much to ask if my partner joined us here, I filled him in and told him I was off and he would like to spend some time with me, we can totally get a hotel if you would rather”.  My mom said, “nonsense of course they are welcome here”.  Sam said, “it’s a he, just to be clear”.  Mom just smiled and said, “ok, that changes nothing”.  He then explained that Wade, his partner, was just out of the Army and he would be getting out soon and they were working on a plan on life after the military.  Dad piped up and offered that there were a lot of opportunities here locally.  That’s the Chamber of Commerce president we all know and love.  The rest of the Sunday was uneventful and welcomed.

Cole and Jacob

Jacob and I finally had a weekend to ourselves Lloyd was out of town at a financial conference in Switzerland or somewhere, he and his assistant traveled there with a few other top people of the companies.  We had the run of the house and farms.  We had gotten a call from Austin filling us in about Hudson’s mom but said there wasn’t much we could do there but he would keep us in the loop.  For now, we were going to have a lot of naked time.  There was naked swimming, naked grilling (that one was tricky), and of course naked cuddling.  We were cuddled up on the couch watching Back to the Future.  The movie ended and we padded up to bed.  We climbed in and Jacob began kissing up my abs and then to my nipples, I hissed, “yesssss”.  He had been so good at discovering all my yes buttons and the one that surprised me the most was my prostate.  If you had told me that I would end up with my boyfriends dick up my ass I would have told you that you were insane but once Jacob introduced me to my prostate, man on man we now have some of the best flip fuck sessions ever.

Jacob continued up my neck and back down the other side, he reached my cock and licked the precum off and trailed down my dick to my balls and taint.  He then spread my legs and lapped at my hole.  He also introduced to the nerve endings around my hole and man his tongue set them all on fire. He had me gripping the sheets and begging him.  I squealed, “my god Jake please fuck me, I need you in me”.  Damn I sounded like a needy bottom, but I don’t care, I wanted, no needed him in me.  I heard Jacob flip open the lube and slick his cock up and then I felt his fingers on my hole, then I felt his head pressing at my entrance.  I groaned, “please give it to me”.

He pressed into me and I yelped, “give it all to me”.  He looked at me and was slowly rocking his hips, teasing me, and grinning.  I begged, “please Jake no more teasing, give it all to me”.  By now he knew I liked it rough and hard, and Jacob liked to tease me and make me beg for it, and beg I did.   “Please fuck me Jakey, please”.  I knew this would rev him up he hated when I called him Jakey.  He growled and hissed, “you’re going to get it now babe”.  With that he opened it up and opened me up.  Jacob started to hammer my hole and his dick curved just right to hit my prostate every time.  Before long, my whole body lit up and my dick jumped and started to shoot, without me touching anything.  I clinched and Jacob froze in me, he waited for my orgasm to subside.  I knew he was not done; he hadn’t cum yet.  After my hole unclenched a bit and my body calmed down, he said, “you good”.  I said, “absolutely”.  I said, “go for it”.  With that he started fucking me again, this had become a thing, when I got fucked, I could orgasm two and sometimes three times.  And cum three times I did.  When we finished, we lay there together.  I said, “Jake, I cannot explain to you just how good you feel inside me”.  He smirked and said, “oh babe I know it is the same when I feel you in me”.

Then I said, ‘man I worked up an appetite, I’m hungry”.  Jacob said, “there is an entire kitchen full of food, let’s go see what we can cook up”.  We jumped out of bed, and had a tickle fight all the way down the stairs.  We settled on burgers, fries and a salad.  Jacob made some chocolate chip cookies for dessert.  We set on the bar stools and ate.  I just looked around and chuckled.  Jacob said, “what”.  I said, “I’d never have guessed that I would be setting at my boyfriends, grandfathers’ mansion, naked, and eating a burger.  He pinched me, “Owwww”, I said.  He laughed and said, “just wanted you to know it was real”.  I laughed.  Soon we were both laughing and then he swiped mayo across my nose, I retaliated with ketchup to the chin, before long we were covered in condiments and rolling on the floor kissing.

We cleaned up and made our way back up and in the shower.  We finished, dried off, and climbed into bed.  Before long we drifted off into slumberland.

Austin and Hudson:

My life this week had been a whirlwind of emotions.  I lost my mother, gained a brother, found a deeper connection with the man I love, and found out what family really means.  Austin and I decided we might be better off keeping the schedule of going to school, practice and working out.  I think Jimmy was torn, he wanted to hang out at home and skip school, but also, he idolized me and if I was going to school, he would too.  He did continue to sleep in our room with us and Austin, and I were both just fine with that.  My friends tried not to make it awkward, but honestly that just made it more awkward.  But I know they meant well.  We got home, home, yeah that is what it is home, the farm is my home now.  Anyway, I got home and went up to check on Jimmy, he was in our room doing homework.  I went in and set on the bed.  Jimmy and I always had kindred connection.  He stopped doing his math and turned around, then he came over and set down on the bed beside me.  I said, “Jimster, how are you doing buddy”.  He leaned into me and I put my arm around him.  He said, “ok I guess, how are you”.  I smiled and said, “ok I guess”.  We smiled at each other.  I asked him how he was with the Sam situation.  He replied, “I get a second kick ass brother, and tonight we get to meet his equally kick ass partner”.  I smiled and said, “yeah, I just know tomorrow is going to be a lot bud, but I will be there for you every step of the way”.  He said, “I know, my whole family will be there for me”.  I smiled.

Sam arrived back from the airport Wade was with him.  They were equal in size, and it sort of blew my mind they were gay, but there is no one type, but I digress.  We had a big family dinner and talked over steaks, baked potatoes, salad, and chocolate cake.  It was nice to be able to talk and relax, knowing myself that tomorrow was going to be hard for all of us.  I was now a member of a club no one ever wants to be a member of some call it the front row at a funeral club, some call it the dead parents club.  Either way it was gonna suck.  But I know I was not going to have to go through this alone.

After dinner we talked with everyone for a bit, but I began to get tired, and I know Jimmy needed to get to bed.  So, I said, “Jimster, I think it’s time we grab Loki and Max and head up to bed buddy”.  He agreed, and rounded up the crew and we headed up, Austin was right with us.  We got to the room and Jimmy said, “are you guys sure it’s ok if I sleep in here, I’m not cramping your style am I”.  Austin laughed and said, “no bud it is just fine, we are here for you”.  He hugged Austin and said, “thanks bro”.  We all got ready and went to bed.

We woke up the next morning showered and had breakfast.  We needed to be at the church at 10 for the service.  I just wanted to get through the day.  We all got dressed and made our way to the garage, we were going in separate cars.  Austin drove me, Jimmy wanted to ride with Mike and Alice.  I held Austin’s hand the entire drive and we arrived at the church.  Everyone filed in and sure enough Jimmy and I were on the front row; Austin was beside me and Alice set with Jimmy on the other side.  It was a simple service, and Austin held my hand through it.  We headed to the cemetery for a private graveside service.  It was a cloudy day, as we walked to the grave it began to sprinkle.  The minister said a quick few words and it began raining harder.  After it was over, some folks patted me on the back and offered their condolences.  We stood there in the rain, my feet felt like cement.  The rain was coming down harder, I just stood there, unable to leave.  Jimmy stood beside me holding my hand and Alice holding his other hand.  Austing had his arm around me holding me tight.  Jimmy hugged me, wiped his tears and started toward the car, but I could not move.  I just stood there for a good 15 minutes in the rain and Austin did not leave my side.  Finally, I stirred up the courage to move, and all the way back to the car I just cried, Austin had me and pretty much carried me to the car.  The ride home was a blur.

We got home, changed and had a bit of late lunch and I just wanted to lay down.  Austin went with me.  We lay in bed and I fell asleep in his arms.  There was no place that I felt safer.
