Seth’s Perspective

When Zach and I left Mrs. Mavis’s, we talked about the new addition to our village, DJ, as the kids sang away in the backseat and Zach drove us home (or at least that’s what I thought he was doing). I was blabbing away about the baby and how I couldn’t wait to meet him, and that we should bring dinner over to them, and blah, blah, blah. I didn’t even notice Zach was driving in the opposite direction of home until he pulled into Taylor’s dealership. “What are we doing here?” I asked.

“You’re going to pick out a new vehicle” Zach responded. I had been avoiding replacing my car since the accident. We had gotten a settlement check (a very nice settlement check) from the insurance company earlier that week. They paid off the loan on my A4, and we had more than enough left over to pay cash for a new one, cover the medical bills and still put a nice chunk away. “The settlement check went into our account Wednesday and the insurance stops paying for the rental next week… it’s time. Taylor has several for us to look at.”

“I feel blind-sided by this” I said.

“That’s on you” Zach responded with a laugh. “I’ve been hounding you about this for weeks, you know we need to do it. So, suck it up and let’s go pick out our first family vehicle” he said as he put the rental in park, kissed me, then opened the door and went to let the kids out. We walked into the showroom as a family, Taylor came out of one of the glass offices to meet us.

“It’s about time you guys got down here” Taylor said. “I’ve been looking for a new one for you for over a month, I think I sent you a hundred listings!”

“Don’t look at me. I was ready weeks ago. It’s his fault” Zach said as he looked at me.

I sighed, “Fine. You win. Let’s look at vehicles.” I don’t know why was so reluctant, I guess with all that happened I just wanted my damn Audi back… I know that was a stupid thought since it was probably crushed down into a 4x4 square of metal and plastic by now, but picking out a new vehicle was like admitting my first little luxury car was gone forever, and I guess it was whether I admitted it or not. So… I looked at vehicles. Taylor entertained the kids while Zach and I test drove several vehicles, all SUV’s, all slightly used with low miles. The clear winner was a VW Atlas. It was big and roomie with three rows of seating. Plus, Zach loved German cars and it was almost the same color as my A4 so it felt like it was a perfect fit. We sat down in Taylor’s office and closed the deal that night while the Freddy laid on the showroom floor and colored and Izzy charmed all the hot young sales guys. They got the SUV shined up, installed the child seats, and called the rental place to pick up the Kia for us. We drove the new “family truckster” (as Zach called it) home that night with me behind the wheel. “I’m glad you pushed me to find a new car” I said to Zach on the way home.

“It’s time to leave the accident from hell behind us and move on” Zach said. “Besides, this one fits us better now anyway.” He was right, when he bought me the A4 it was just the two of us, not we were four.

“If we get another car seat, I can pick up and drop off Maggie from childcare for Gina while she’s at home with DJ” I said.

“Hell, we can fit a third one in here, no problem” Zach said looking back. “Plus, I want to get another set of seats for the GTI anyway so we don’t always have to shuffle vehicles.” He was talking like a dad. He lowered his voice and said, “they’re not going anywhere so it’s worth the money.”

We went home, fed the kids, and put them to bed. After they were asleep, I went out to admire my new vehicle. I was surprisingly excited about the whole thing; I had no clue why I fought it for so long. I sat behind the wheel looking through the manual and checking out all the amazing features. I had driven the green dragon for so long that every little feature felt futuristic to me. Zach startled the fuck outta me when he opened the passenger door and got in the seat beside me.

“What are you doing out here?” He asked.

“Just checking out my new ride. Thanks for talking me into it” I answered. “Hey, did you leave the kids alone in the house?!” I asked in a small panic.

Zach held up his phone, “I got the monitors on, they were both sawing wood when I checked on them.” Zach sat up front looking at the manual and checking things out with me for a while then said, “pop the hatch.” I did, then we went to the back of the vehicle, he opened the hatch and pushed down the third seat. “look at that! 55.5 cubic feet with the third-row seats folded down. That’s like a bed” he said as he dropped his pants in the darkness and lifted his naked butt onto the tailgate of the SUV with his muscular legs hanging off the back and his blonde leg hair shimmering in the moonlight.

“What the hell are you doing?” I laughed.

“Test driving our new ride. Now drop ‘em” he said as he fumbled with my belt buckle pulled me closer to the bumper. He undid the buckle and the zipper then pulled my jeans down to my knees. The cold North Carolina night wind chilled my naked ass as my soft appendage disappeared into Zach’s warm mouth. He gagged on my cock as it grew in his mouth and pushed its way down his tight throat. Damn, the warmth on my cock felt so good as the cold wind whipped my ass. The contrast of hot and cold added to the pleasure. Zach planted his hands firmly on my cold ass cheeks as he pulled me deep down his throat. He swallowed so his throat muscles contracted around my shaft, massaging it. I instinctively rested my hands on his head and brushed my fingers through his blond locks. After a few minutes he pulled off me. “Get in here, there’s plenty of room.” So, I crawled in, joining him in the back of the SUV, parked in our driveway in the middle of nowhere. God, I loved living in the country.

We both kicked off our pants so they were laying in the driveway behind the slightly used Atlas. When I got inside the vehicle, we maneuvered ourselves into a sixty nine. I was already on the verge of explosion from the amazing outdoor BJ he had started giving me before I jumped into the back of the car. I think I lasted all od like forty five seconds before expelling my demon seed down his worthy gullet.

Zach pulled off me, flipped around, and moved behind me so we were spooning. I turned my head back and he gave me a cummy kiss before spittin my cum into his hand and lubing his magnificence with it. He worked my hole with a slick finger, then two, then three to prep me, then GOOD EVENING, SIR! He hit turbo and went for the finish line driving into me with expert precision. He pushed in and kept going until he drove it all the way home. Our new vehicle barley even bounced as he pummeled me with his tire iron, it was one smooth frigging ride. “I’m cumming” he whispered haggardly as he pumped me full of his love-fuel. He kept pistoning in and out of me lubricating my chassis to perfection. After we were both spent, we lay there in the darkness of the cold, country night and basked in the afterglow. That is until we heard noises from the baby monitor. We both pulled on our pants and ran into the house to tend to the kids. It turned out to be nothing (of course), Izzy woke up for all of five seconds then went back to sleep.

Zach and I retired to our bedroom and I fell asleep with him spooning me again. Not a single spot on my body hurt at that moment… I was recovering nicely.

The next few days were quiet. It was Friday morning and I was sitting in the therapy room at The Village with Grammaw BA while she showed me a million pictures of her new grandbaby DJ, and of course a million more of Maggie and Theodore. She also gave me the latest scoop on TJ who went to live with her father, apparently things were going well for here… it was a happy foster ending. BA was so damn proud of her grandchildren and all the kids of our village. “I can’t wait until the Easter egg hunt when all the babies are together.”

“I’m supposed to go over to Max and Brody’s tonight after the kids are asleep. Max bought like a hundred plastic eggs for us to fill with candy, then on Saturday night Zach and Brody are gonna hide them all over Bromax for all the kids… well all the kids plus the guys from The Village” I said with a laugh.

“Holidays are gonna be so much fun for now with all these kids around” BA said with a gigantic smile.

“I know” I said. Then I told her about meeting Kyler and Marcus in Arizona (well maybe not ALL about it) and inviting them to Easter at BroMax. Then I decided to tell her about our adoption meeting. We had been fairly closed lipped about it. Max and Brody knew, but that was pretty much it. We just didn’t want to get our hopes up to high or jinx it. “You know, we’re working on adopting Freddy and Izzy” I said quietly. “We met with the lawyers, DSS, and their mother on Monday morning and it’s looking pretty good.

“OH MY GOD THAT’S WONDERFUL!” she screamed; I don’t think I ever heard her use the word “wonderful” before. “You and Zach will be amazin’ parents. All you kids will be!” She was as excited as if we were her own family… but I guess we pretty much were. While we were talking and she was gushing about all the kids in our village, the Perkins family came into the therapy room.

“Seth, it’s so good to see you again” Mr. Perkins said as he reached out and shook my hand. BA greeted them, then excused herself and left the room.

“I’m so glad you made time for us, Seth” Mrs. Perkins said with a smile. “We just wanted to say goodbye and thank you for all you did for Gray.”

Before we sat down or even finished exchanging pleasantries Grayson said, “Mom and Dad, I wanted to more than say goodbye to Seth, I wanted to talk to the two of you and I asked Seth to be here for moral support.” He was straight forward and more confident than I had seen him in the past. It was important for him to come clean and start with a clean slate, I know he had rehearsed his words several times.

We all took our seats, “What’s up, Grayson?” His dad asked. Grayson suddenly got quiet and his confidence seemed to wane.

“Gray, you can talk to us about anything” his mother said and his father nodded in agreement. HE looked at me, I just nodded. He had this!

I saw the courage build back up in him. He took a deep breath and said, “I’m excited to be moving home, but I want to be honest with you about everything… no secrets.” His parents had concerned looks on their faces as they gave him their full attention. “I… I did some stuff to survive while I was living on the street that I’m not proud of” he proceeded to tell them about Tony and selling his body for money. His mother had tears in her eyes as he told them about some of the abuse he endured. I was surprised (and impressed) that he told them everything. Their reaction was priceless.

When Grayson was done telling his story, his father stood up, walked over, and hugged his son and said “I’m sorry that you had to go through all that, and even sorrier that we made you feel you had to. We will be there for you always. No matter what. Period.”

His mother joined the hug and said, “Gray, life sucks. I hope you know you never have to go it alone, we really are here for you.” The three shared some tears and more words before they left my office and headed back to Virginia Beach.

On the way out the door, his father handed me and envelope and said, “You’re doing God’s work here, Seth. If you ever have someone who needs a place to stay in Virginia Beach, call us. Or if you’re in town for any reason, we’d love to see you. My card is in the envelope. Thanks for bringing our son back.” Then he shook my hand and they left. I opened the envelope to find a thank you card, his business card, and a check written out to The Village for $5,000. A VERY generous donation. I would miss Grayson, but felt he was moving on to better things… and that’s exactly why The Village existed.

That night we skipped our usual Friday Pizza party and the four of us brought Gina and Dylan dinner and got to meet DJ. Izzy kept saying she wanted a “baby bruvvo” too. Ugh! We hadn’t even figured out how to talk to them about the adoption much less where babies came from… ugh, so much parenting to learn. After a night with Gina and family we went home, put the kids down, then I went over to BroMax and filled plastic eggs with candy and little shit like Super Balls, plastic rings, plastic bugs, candy necklaces, etc. for the egg hunt… you know all the stuff little boys and girls love. On Saturday morning, Zach kept the kids out of my hair by playing outside with them. I spent the morning in the garden finishing up my planting, my dad and Maverick had both done so much work in the garden and the planting was almost done. I could already see some sprouts… I loved my little garden and was so excited to see things grow!

Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs as a family. The kids were so serious about it, especially Freddy, he wanted everything just perfect and experimented with different colors. When we were done with the eggs, the kids left some carrots on the kitchen counter for the Easter Bunny. They were so excited; it took us forever to put them down for the night, but when we finally got them down Zach went over to BroMax Farm where he and Brody took their flashlights into the yard and hid easter eggs for the big hunt.

Sunday was the big day, EASTER! Freddy and Izzy woke us up before dawn jumping on our bed and yelling: “HE WAS HERE! HE WAS HERE!” Before we went to bed, Zach and I had eaten half the carrots and made bunny tracks out of flour on the kitchen floor and left a trail of candy in the living room leading out the front door.

“Wow! Look at that” Zach said pointing to the trail of candy. “I bet he hid your easter baskets outside!” He said with as much excitement in him as the kids had.

“Put on your shoes and lets go look!” I added in excitement. Oh my god this was so much freaking fun! The excitement on their faces was indescribable and Zach of course was recording it all. Those two little shits ran up the steps as fast as they could, we followed them and helped them get dressed. Damn, I never saw those two move so fast before!!! Within seconds they were dressed and out in the yard looking for their baskets. Petunia was running with them, she found her own basket first (full of chew toys and treats) then hung out in the middle of the yard and went to town on it while the others kept hunting.

“ZEEEEEEEFFFFF!! LOOKIT!” Izzy screamed as she found her basket sitting out in the open at the roots of the old oak “Is dis for me?!” I ran over to her as she held up the basket with her name on it.

“It says Izzy on it. It must be from the Easter Bunny!”  I said. She was so excited.

Meanwhile, Zach was giving Freddy subtle hints until he finally found his basket which was hidden in a little less obvious spot behind the old magnolia tree a little further down the driveway past where the new Atlas was parked. “SEEEETHHHHH!!!” Freddy yelled from across the yard. “LOOK WHAT ME AND ZACH FOUND FROM THE EASTER BUNNY. IT’S GOT MY NAME ON IT!” The kids led the way into the house with their baskets in hand. They dumped their baskets out on the living room floor and went through their bounty, squealing with excitement at everything in them. Zach facetimed his parents and Izzy dominated the call showing them everything in her basket, including the Easter dress for Maxine… I couldn’t stop laughing, they were both so damn cute! I wondered if they had ever even gotten an Easter basket before.

After our basket hunt, we ate breakfast, Zach put Jellybean eyes on the Mickey Mouse pancakes, and the kids went insane with laughter. It took us a little longer than usual to get them dressed because they were so hyped up about the holiday (and on a sugar high from dipping into the Easter candy when we weren’t looking). Freddy wore jeans and a cute little pastel button down, he looked dressed up, but was ready get down and dirty at the BroMax Easter egg hunt. Izzy on the other hand, was sporting the frilliest little Easter dress in multiple pastel colors with lace, tulle, and 3-D silk flowers sewn on. Brad and Scotty had sent a box of Brooklyn’s old clothes home with us when we were visiting Arizona, and Izzy had been dying to wear the world’s girly-est little dress ever since she discovered it in the box the day we got home. She had on a pair of white shoes with little bows on them, she was so impressed with how pretty she was. We had to take about 320424329 million pictures of her (I think Freddy was only in three of them) before we ventured over to BroMax. It was a beautiful Spring day so we decided to walk… Bad decision. Freddy was so excited that he kept running ahead, Zach had to run after him a few times to slow him down. And Izzy… she was obsessed with keeping her “pwetty shoes” clean so I ended up carrying her the half-mile down the road. We FINALLY made it to BroMax and were the first ones there.  Theodore came running down the long driveway (dressed almost identical to Freddy… the only difference was that Theodore’s shirt was pink and Freddy’s was lavender, they were so damn cute).

“FREDDY” Theodore yelled as he ran towards us, “There’s eggs fulla’ candy EVERYWHERE!”

“WHAT?!!! FOR REAL?! Are you serious???!!” Freddy yelled back with total wonderment in his eyes as the two of them started to take off. This was all so new to him.

Max came walking towards us yelling to Theodore and Freddy, “Don’t you dare touch any of those eggs, you have to wait until everyone is here.”

Theodore yelled back some response like ‘I know, we’re just lookin’, geeze.’ He knew the rules, but was so excited to scope out all the hiding places.

“And look at how beautiful YOU look” Max said turning his attention to Izzy.

“I’m pwetty” she said as she showed him her shoes.

“Yes, you are!” Max said taking her from my arms and showering her with compliments on her shoes and dress, and leading us towards the house. Gina’s big, white SUV pulled into the driveway beeping its horn as we made our way up the driveway. We moved out of the way so the happy family could get through, BA’s Chrysler pulled in right after them. Then a big grey Suburban carrying Kyler, Marcos and their three kids crackled down the gravel drive. All three vehicles pulled up and parked near the house. Dylan unbuckled Maggie, I put Izzy down, and the two girls ooo’d and Ah’d over each other’s amazing Easter Frocks. They were the two most beautiful girls in the world… that was until Emmy, Marcos’, and Kyler’s two year old got out of their SUV and joined the other two. Then out came Lulu… at one years old she was barely walking, but the adorable little Asian girl she was more than happy to show the other girls how pretty she was too. Lastly, Tony (Tone for short) jumped out of the back – not quite five years old and full of piss and vinegar. I called our two boys over and introduced them to the other kids and warned them not to touch the eggs yet. The three took off running and yelling with excitement like they were old friends. That’s one thing I admired about kids, they could become best friends with anyone in an instant.

The adults moved into the house and we introduced Kyler and Marcos to the rest of our friends. Uncle Brody grabbed DJ out of his carrier and held him for most of the afternoon (BA was not happy he was bogarting he grandbaby). Max grabbed a stack of Easter baskets and went out into the yard and rounded up all the kids. “I know for a FACT that the Easter Bunny has left eggs filled with candy and other stuff all around the yard. Everybody take a basket, then go collect as many eggs as you can” Max instructed. Then he looked at the boys and said, “The girls are younger, so they get a head start, I’ll let you know when you can start.” He got a bunch of ‘awwwww’s and ‘that’s not fair’s’ from the three boys, but they waited patiently (well… okay, they waited) for the girls to start collecting eggs, and once they each had three (which took Lulu forever), he told the boys they could start. Brody told Theodore to take the other guys and start past the barn so that the smaller kids could find the eggs closer to the house. It was hilarious, those three boys took off running and following Freddy who had the homecourt advantage. The kids were having the time of their young lives while the adults watched and cheered them on.

As the kids were searching BroMax Farm for Easter Eggs, Riley’s red Mercedes turned into the driveway with the top down. She took a sharp turn onto the grass and drove over to where the kids were all looking for eggs. She honked the horn several times, parked the convertible, and moved quickly to the other side to open the door for her special guest of honor; The Easter Bunny himself! Max and Brody looked over to me and Zach who were just standing there smiling. Eli agreed to dress up as the EB and me and Zach rented him the costume, we wanted it to be a surprise so we didn’t tell anyone else. The kids were over the freaking moon with excitement as they ran over to greet him. I heard Freddy thank him for the easter basket he left at the house… god, I loved that tiny man. Such a good heart. Eli hammed it up hopping out of the car and throwing candy to the grown-ups, then helping the kids hunt for eggs. While Eli-Bunny and the kids were filling their baskets with eggs the guys from The Village showed up for dinner. The arrived in several cars, but they were all there… Mason, Maverick, Colton, Taylor (and Noah), Ray Ray, Rodney, Victor, Ricky, Timmy, even Ella. Once the little kids had filled their baskets with eggs and given up looking for more, Max let the “big kids loose” in the yard to hunt for more eggs.

“There’s probably another fifty eggs out there” Max said to me and BA as the three of us left the festivities to go into the kitchen and get dinner ready. The Easter ham was ready, and we finished up the sides and salads then put everything out on the counter so everyone could fill their plates.

For the rest of the afternoon, we ate together, played with the kids, Zach even got a soccer game going with the adults and the kids. I loved the family we were creating.

To be continued…
