Chapter 18

I was relieved that we had found all three of our missing guys, but this investigation was far from over. There were still so many things to figure out, first of all, who and where is Mr. D? Are there any more guys out there being held at other locations? Where the hell is Tyler? Have Chuck’s thugs already found him? If they have, did they give him the same treatment that they had given Jesse? Or worse?

A knock on my door shook me out of my thoughts. Blake stepped in, “sorry I didn’t mean to disturb you, you looked pretty deep in thought there.”

I nodded, “yeah, just trying to figure things out. So, what’s up?”

Blake sat down, “we got the 11 guys all back at the hotel, Phil and his crew are really giving them the royal treatment.”

I smiled, “they deserve it after what they have been through. You made sure we still have our guys on watch there, right?”

He said, “yes, do you think they might send someone after those guys?”

I shook my head, “not really, but I don’t want to take any chances.”

Blake nodded, “yeah, and we have extra patrols running by Rob, Alex and Joey’s places. Ollie said that Dylan and Joey must have bonded in their time in that apartment?”

I chuckled, “it sure looks that way, and there also seems to be something going on between Alex and Omar.”

Blake asked, “really?”

I said, “yep, Omar’s driver told his father what was going on and it sounds like the old man kicked him out. Alex offered him a place to stay.”

Blake said, “wow, that was nice of him. So, what’s our next move?”

I stood and grabbed my notebook, “I say we take another run at Chuck.”

I sat at the table across from Chuck Andrews, “so Chuck, do you want to talk to us today?”

He glared at me, “I told you, I got nothing to say.”

I said, “that’s fine, but as I have already told you, we have all the evidence we need to put you away for sex trafficking and murder. It would really be in your best interest to get yourself a lawyer, help us find Mr. D, and get the best possible deal for yourself.”

He shook his head, “I got nothing to say.”

I chuckled, “ok, but I promise you, we will find Mr. D. I also promise you that he will throw you under the bus at the first chance he gets. We have incriminating statements from your thugs and the young men you were hiding in that house against you.” I closed my notebook and stood up, “I suggest you find yourself a lawyer.” Blake and I walked out the door.

We got back to my office, Blake asked, “what do you think his end game is here, he has nothing to gain by protecting that sum bag Mr. D.”

I shrugged, “I have no idea, I just know that we need to find Mr. D.”

Ollie appeared in my doorway, “I don’t know who he is yet, but I have found something interesting.”

I asked, “ok, lay it on me.”

He handed me two papers with a Google Earth map on them, “Diamond D Holding has two more houses within five miles of the one we just raided.”

Joey and Dylan were lying in bed together, Joey had to convince his parents that he was now an adult and should be allowed to share his bed with whoever he wanted. They reluctantly agreed, mostly because they were happy that their son had returned home, safe. Out of respect for his parents, Joey and Dylan just held each other and they went right to sleep the night before.

Ellen knocked on the bedroom door, “Joey, Dylan, breakfast is ready.”

Joey said, “thanks mom, we’ll be right there.”

They threw on a pair of shorts and t-shirt, Joey had to lend Dylan some of his clothes as Dylan had left all of his at the apartment.

They sat at the table as Ellen put big plates of eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast down in front of the boys. They eagerly dug in, a short time later, the plates were empty.

Dylan wiped his mouth, “thank you Mrs. Morris, that was very good. It has been a long time since I was fed a meal like that.”

She smiled, “your welcome Dylan, I’m glad you liked it, and please, you can call me Ellen.” She wiped away a small tear that had formed at the corner of her eye.

Gene Morris asked, “so what do you two have planned for today?”

Joey said, “detective Ridgeway wants us to stay home for a while, at least until he is sure that we are safe. I am going to email all my professors to see if I can make up the work for my classes from when I was gone.”

Gene said, “that sounds like a good idea, what about you Dylan, were you in college before you…”

Dylan shook his head, “no sir, I was working at a grocery store.”

Gene said, “sorry I didn’t mean to ask you anything inappropriate.”

Dylan smiled, “that’s ok sir, and thank you so much for letting me stay in your home.”

Gene smiled, “you’re welcome son.” He looked at his watch, “it’s getting late, I need to get to work.”

Ellen looked at the clock, “yes, I need to get these dishes done so I can get to work too.”

Dylan said, “please Mrs. er, I mean, Ellen, I can do the dishes for you, It’s the least I can do.”

Joey grinned, “yeah mom, we’ll take care of the dishes, you and dad go to work, we’ll be fine.”

She smiled, “thank you guys, I appreciate that. What would you like for dinner tonight?”

Joey’s eyes lit up, “will you make your spaghetti?” he turned to Dylan, “mom makes the best spaghetti.”

Dylan smiled, “that sounds great.”

Ellen gave both boys a hug and she and Gene left for the day. Joey and Dylan went to work on the dishes and cleaning the kitchen.

Dylan said, “your parents are great, thank you for asking them to let me stay with you.”

Joey chuckled, “if you keep offering to help around the house, they may never let you leave.”

Dylan laughed, “if your mom keeps feeding me, I may not want to leave.”

Joey set the dish towel on the counter as he put the last dish away, he wrapped his arms around Dylan and started to kiss him. Joey said, “we have the house to ourselves, I need to take a shower, would you care to join me?”

Dylan grinned, “yes, I think I would like to join you.”

They left a trail of clothes down the hall as they made their way to the bathroom. They were locked in a kiss as they tugged on each other’s hard dicks. Dylan broke the kiss and began to lick his way down Joey’s torso, stopping at every one of Joey’s erogenous zones to give them a little more attention. Joey was loving every bit of Dylan’s tongue action. Dylan finally landed on Joey’s aching cock, Joey let out a deep breath when his dick head first hit the back of Dylan’s throat. Dylan continued his assault on Joey’s cock until Joey was on the brink of orgasm. Joey pulled Dylan up for a quick kiss, then went to his knees to give Dylan the best blow job he could muster. From the sounds Dylan was making, he was succeeding. Joey kept sucking Dylan as he started to work a finger into Dylan’s tight hole. Dylan let out a loud grunt, “damn it Joey, I want you inside me.” Joey grinned as they finished rinsing off and streaked down the hall to Joey’s bedroom. Dylan lay on his stomach on the bed, Joey went down between Dylan’s legs to deliver a sloppy rim job. Dylan was holding his cheeks apart as he moaned with every one of Joey’s licks. Joey moved up and started to kiss Dylan’s neck as he lined up his erect manhood with Dylan’s wet manhole. Joey sank in until his balls were tight against Dylan’s ass, he slowly picked up speed. Dylan was soon thrusting his ass up to meet every one of Joey’s strokes. Joey soon felt the churning in his nuts, Dylan panted, “that’s it, breed me, give me that hot seed. That was all Joey needed to hear, he unloaded his hot load, shaking and convulsing until the spasms in his cock stopped. Joey rolled off Dylan onto his back, Dylan quickly got up and sat across Joey’s chest, stroking his cock. Joey felt his cum leaking out of Dylan’s ass and onto his stomach. Joey reached his tongue out to lick Dylan’s dick, Dylan let out a final grunt and filled Joey’s mouth with a heathy dose of protein filled jizz.

Dylan leaned down for a kiss and Joey shared the cum that was still in his mouth. They smiled at each other as they both swallowed and broke their kiss. After another quick trip to the shower to clean up, they picked up their clothes and got dressed.

Dylan laid on the bed next to Joey as Joey emailed all his professors. Once Joey finished sending his emails, he clicked onto the college website.

Joey said, “let’s see what is required for the nursing program.”

Dylan smiled as they read the website. Joey noticed how Dylan’s eyes lit up as they made their way through the requirements.

Joey asked, “what do you think?”

Dylan said, “I don’t know if I can do it.”

Joey said, “of course you can, besides, what’s the worst thing that will happen if you fail?”

Dylan shrugged, “I would have to go back to work at the grocery store.”

Joey smiled, “or… you try something else.”

Dylan gave him a quick kiss, “yeah, I guess you’re right.”

Joey clicked on the application page, they filled it out and hit submit.

Dylan asked, “that was the easy part, now how am I going to pay for it if I get accepted?”

Joey smiled as he clicked on the scholarship and financial aid buttons. They spent the rest of the day filling out applications for Dylan.

I looked at Ollie, “are you serious?”

He nodded, “yes, I just got off the phone with the accessors office, and they confirmed it.”

I patted him on the shoulder, “nice work Ollie.”

I went to the captain, and he got us the warrants that we needed, and we reassembled the team to go search the houses. We timed our teams to make entry in both house at the same time, I led the team at the first house, Blake was leading at the second house.

We encountered no resistance at either house, instead we found four frightened young men in each house. The locks on the doors were similar to those at the apartment building, we just broke the doors down this time. When we initially questioned the guys in each house, they told the same story. They put on cam shows, several times a week, always filmed by Chuck, and they had not seen Chuck in the last two days.

Just as we did with all the others, we had them checked out at the hospital and from there we took them straight to the hotel. Once again, the hotel was great about accommodating us and our growing group of young men. With the eight new men, we now had 19 at the hotel and Rob, Alex, Joey and Dylan at their homes.

We got back to the station, Ollie had stayed back to continue looking for more Diamond D properties.

I said, “that was great work finding those additional properties, you deserve all the credit for finding those eight more guys.”

He smiled, “thanks Ridge, just doing my job. I just got off the phone with the accessor’s office again, they assure me that there are no more houses owned by Diamond D Holdings.”

I nodded, “good, now we just need to find out who owns Diamond D.”

He said, “yeah, I have been thinking about that too Ridge. Do you think that Mr. D is the owner of Diamond D Holdings?”

I nodded, “yeah, that does seem to make sense, doesn’t it?”

Ollie said, “I’ll keep working on trying to track that down.”

I smiled, “keep up the good work and let me know if you find anything.”

He grinned as he went back to his desk. Blake and I ran the names of our new hotel guests, just like all the others, they were from out of town and reported missing anywhere from six months to a year ago. They also had no close family and were assumed to be run aways.

We decided to call it a day and all headed home for the night. Lucas had dinner ready for me when I walked in the door.

He smiled at me, “you look like you are in a good mood, did you make progress on your case today?”

I smiled back at him, “a little I guess, we still haven’t found the big boss, but we found two more of his houses and rescued eight more victims.”

Lucas looked at me in shock, “God, I had no idea there were so many people missing and being used for such things.”

I nodded, “there are some sick people out there.”

He handed me a drink as he set dinner on the table, I sighed, “but I still have no lead on finding one of the victims, that turned into a recruiter. The other recruiter is laying in the hospital right now, I don’t think he will be able to live a normal life, they worked him over pretty good.”

Lucas asked, “do you think they got the guy that you haven’t found?”

I said, “I’m afraid they might have, and I think the only reason the guy in the hospital is still alive, is because our patrol officers stumbled onto the scene. If they got to my other guy, I think he may already be dead.”

He said, “Drake, I’m sorry, but if he was recruiting, maybe he got what was coming to him.”

I shook my head, “I’m not so sure, this one is different.”

Lucas asked, “what do you mean?”

I explained, “I believe this guy recruited out self-preservation, he only recruited one guy. The one in the hospital brought in two guys and almost succeeded in delivering a third. I think he was doing for the money.” I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair.

Lucas looked at me, “there is something else bothering you, what is it?”

Lucas could always see right through me, I shook my head, “it’s nothing.”

He smiled at me, “there is something, now tell me.”

I shrugged, “I just keep thinking about all those young men, other than the last three, they were all run aways or thrown out of their homes. I could have been any one of those guys, I understand why they thought doing what they did was better than living on the street. God, you should have seen them when we brought them to the station Lucas. They all thought they were the ones in trouble.”

Lucas took my hand, “but you made the right choice, they didn’t. Now, you are giving them a second chance, maybe they will learn from this and turn their lives around.”

I smiled at him, “I hope so, see that’s why I love you, you are the smartest person I know.”

Lucas gave me a peck on the cheek, “I don’t know, you are the one that figured all of this out, it all sounds so confusing to me. I think you are the smart one.”

I chuckled, “it’s what I do, I was trained to follow the clues and I have come to be able to read people fairly well over the last fifteen years. It’s a lot easier than looking at cells and microorganisms under a microscope to determine if someone has a disease or is related or whatever else it is that you determine.”

Lucas laughed, “that stuff is easy, other people have done years of research to determine those things, I deal with a lot of constants. The stuff you deal with always has a different mad man coming up with a new way to hurt someone else.”

I wrapped Lucas in a tight hug, “yeah, I guess you’re right, but I still think you are a lot smarter than I am.”

We crawled into bed and went to sleep in each other’s arms and Lucy at our feet.

I walked into the station the next morning, Ollie was already there, busy at his desk.

Blake walked in, “morning Ridge.”

I said, “hey Blake, I forgot to ask, how did your wife do on that chicken and rice dish.”

He chuckled, “it was pretty good, but not near as good as Lucas’s.”

I laughed as Blake looked over at Ollie working away, he asked, “did the kid even go home last night?”

I said, “I think so, he must have come in early.”

Just as I was going to ask Ollie what time he came in, he stood up pumped his hands in the air and yelled, “yes!”

He noticed Blake and I looking at him, he said, “oh hey guys, when did you get in?”

I laughed, “just a minute ago, why are you so excited?”

He grinned, “I just found out who owns Diamond D Holdings.”

I asked, “are you sure?” I walked behind him to look at his computer screen.

He pointed to the name, “I am positive.”

Blake came around to see the name, he asked, “is that…?”
