Joey and Dylan were sitting on opposite sides of the couch, both on their laptops. Mr. Edwards had just given Joey his new laptop yesterday. While he could get online, there were controls that wouldn’t allow him to set up an email account or message anyone. Joey had gotten to know Dylan a little bit better over the last couple days. He knew Dylan didn’t have a great home life before he came here, and that Dylan’s “recruitment” was much different that Joey’s. He basically came here of his own free will, he had met a guy in the park where Dylan was living at the time. The guy said he was staying with Mr. Edwards, and that if Dylan wanted a nice place to stay, he could arrange it. The next thing he knew he was living in this apartment with another guy named Ty. He had not seen or heard from the guy that recruited him since. Joey understood why Dylan was happy here, but Joey had a family that cared for him, he had just started college and was ready to start his adult life.

Joey and Dylan both turned to the door as they heard it open, and Mr. Edwards walked in carrying a bag of groceries. He set the bags on the counter and Dylan and Joey got up to put the groceries away. Once that task was complete, the boys went back to their seats on the couch. Mr. Edwards had gone to use the bathroom, he returned and took a seat in the chair across from the couch.

Mr. Edwards asked, “so, have you two gotten acquainted?”

Dylan nodded, “yeah, we have had some good talks.”

Mr. Edwards said, “no, I mean, really gotten acquainted.”

Dylan shook his head, “oh, no, we haven’t.”

Mr. Edwards raised an eyebrow, “don’t you think it’s about time that you did?”

Dylan smiled, “I guess so.” He closed his laptop and set it on the coffee table. Joey wasn’t sure what they were talking about as Dylan moved down the couch and sat next to him. Dylan put his hand under Joey’s chin and turned his head, he leaned in until their lips met. Once Joey realized what was going on, he relaxed and began to kiss Dylan back. Joey felt Dylan’s hand on his suddenly hard cock as their tongues danced in each other’s mouths. Joey was suddenly lost in the moment, Dylan was an excellent kisser. Joey’s dick was stretching his shorts to the limit, as Dylan continued to stroke him. They paused their kissing just long enough to get undressed, after another kiss, they stretched out on the couch sucking each other’s cocks. While Joey’s sexual experience was very limited, he knew that Dylan was very talented, and Joey was loving everything Dylan was doing to him. Joey was simply trying to mimic what Dylan was doing, and from the sounds Dylan was making, he was doing something right. Joey felt Dylan licking and sucking his balls, then he felt a finger graze his pucker. Joey shuddered at the touch and spread his legs, Dylan ventured further, he spit on his finger and began to work it into Joey’s warm hole. Joey went limp as Dylan moved around and pushed his legs in the air, Joey felt as if he had been folded in half. Dylan moved down and began to push his tongue in and out of Joey’s ass. This was so much better than when Mr. Edwards was rimming Joey, Dylan was licking Joey for Joey’s pleasure, Edwards was just trying to lube his hole. Once Dylan had Joey’s hole good and sloppy, he came up and gave Joey anther kiss and poised his hard cock at Joey’s love opening. They continued to kiss as Dylan slowly sunk his manhood inside Joey. Joey’s discomfort only lasted seconds, he was now filled with only pleasure as Dylan began to piston in and out. Joey and Dylan’s eyes were locked on each other as they broke their kiss and held their foreheads against each other. Joey was lost in Dylans eyes as the tingling began to build and his nuts were tightening. Joey reached down to take hold of his cock, he didn’t even give himself one stroke before he shot his load all over his and Dylan’s torsos. A second later, Dylan pulled out and added his creamy seed to Joey’s. Dylan fell on top of Joey as they had another steamy make out session.

Dylan smiled as he pulled back from Joey, they heard a loud grunt and an “oh God” from across the room. They both looked over at Mr. Edwards as he spilled his seed all over his stomach and chest.

Mr. Edwards panted, “you guys are so hot together, I am going to like having both of you living here.”

Kate Clark was an attractive woman in her early to mid-twenties. She was about 5’6” with long dark hair and matching brown eyes. She was wearing business appropriate clothes, a white blouse and dark shirt and blazer, he had kicked off her high heels, they were laying near the door.

The color had drained from her face when we told her who we were. She stuttered, “I just got home from work, maybe you could come back later, I have plans for tonight, and I really…”

I interrupted, “no, Miss Clark, we need to talk to you right now, this will only take a minute.”

She sighed, “ok, but I’m sure I don’t know anything about…”

Blake said, “we haven’t even told you why we are here.”

Kate stammered, “oh, yeah, well, what are you looking for?”

Blake asked, “do you know this man?” He held up a picture of Jesse Snyder, (aka, Dave and Bo).

Once again, she went pale, she shook her head, “no, I’m afraid I don’t know him.”

I said, “you are a terrible liar, Miss Clark. By the look on your face, you do know this man.”

She let out a breath, “I have seen him a few times, but I really don’t know him.”

Blake chuckled, “I would love to play poker with you sometime, Miss Clark. I think you know him a little better than you are telling us.”

I said, “I think you are right detective Robbins, I guess we need to give Miss Clark a ride to the station, so we can go over this in great detail. You didn’t have any plans for tonight, did you?”

Blake shook his head, “nope, I got all night. How about you Miss Clark, you care to join us downtown?”

She ran her hands through her hair, “ok, fine. I dated him a couple of times, until I found out he was more into guys than me. He kept coming around and I let him stay once in a while, usually just one night at a time.”

I asked, “how often does he stay with you?”

She said, “about every other week or so.”

Blake asked, “when was the last time he was here?”

She said, "the last time he spent the night was about a week ago, he was here last night, but he didn’t spend the night. Whenever he shows up, I go spend the night at my boyfriend’s place, but when I came home this morning to change for work, he wasn’t here.”

I asked, “does he bring any friends back here?”

She shrugged, “I have never seen anyone, but I find two glasses and things like that every once in a while. I guess they leave before I come home.”

Blake asked, “so do you know where he lives when he’s not here?”

Kate shook her head, “no, it seems like he stays with whoever will let him.”

I asked, “Miss Clark, what name was he using when you dated him?”

She said, “Bo Abbott. Oh hell, I’ll bet that’s not his real name, is it?

I shook my head, “no ma’am, we believe his real name is Jesse Snyder. We also believe that he is involved with at least two missing person cases.”

She went pale, “he’s kidnapping people?”

Blake said, “we’re not sure what his role is just yet, that’s why we need to talk to him. Do you have a phone number for him?”

She shook her head, “no, I have never even seen him use a phone.”

I asked, “has he ever left any of his personal belongings here? Clothes, jewelry, anything like that?

Kate thought for a moment, “there is a small bag in my bathroom. The first thing he always does when he gets here is take a shower and shave. I assume the bag has a razor, shaving cream, toothpaste, that kind of thing in it.”

Blake asked, “can we see it?”

She shrugged, “I guess so, I’ll go get it.” She let us inside her apartment, we waited in the living room as she went to her bathroom.

She returned with a small black bag, “here it is.” She handed it to me. I put on my rubber gloves, opened it, and began to look through the contents. Just as Kate suspected, it was toiletries. I searched further and under a small pack of band-aids, I found a small brown bottle with a red lid. I handed the bag to Blake as I opened the bottle to find 4 small white pills in the bottom.

I looked at Blake, he asked, “what is it, Ridge?”

I put the lid back on the bottle, “I’m not sure, but I would bet a week’s pay that the pills in this bottle match the white powder that was in the beer bottle we took to the lab last night.”

Blake nodded and turned to Kate, “Miss Clark, with your permission, we are going to take this bag with us as evidence.”

She said, “you can have it, I want nothing more to do with it.”

We gave her a receipt for the bag and since she had given us permission to enter her apartment and freely gave us the bag, we didn’t need a search warrant.

We asked her a few more questions, then thanked her for her cooperation. I gave her my card, “if you think of anything else, please call me.”

She asked, “what do I do if Bo, er Jesse, whatever his name is shows up here? Should I let him in and call you?”

I said, “no, that would not be safe, we can’t risk him finding out that you have talked to us.”

Blake added, “Miss Clark, it would probably be best if you go stay with your boyfriend for a couple of days, or until we find Jesse. If you do see him, please call us as soon as you can without him knowing.”

Seeing the fear in her eyes, I asked, “would you like us to wait here with you until you can pack a bag?”

She nodded, “yes, I would feel better if you did.”

She called her boyfriend and we agreed to follow her to his place and helped her explain things to him. Once we knew she was safe, we went back to the station.

We took the bottle of pills to the lab and told them that we needed the pills compared to the powder in the beer bottle.

Blake and I went back to my office and again tried to get all the pieces we had to fit together somehow.

He asked, “so do you think Kate Clark was telling the truth?”

I nodded, “yes, I do. You saw what she looked like when we first questioned her, she was lying then. Once she understood how serious this was, she fully cooperated, and I think she was legitimately scared as she packed her bag.”

Blake paused for a moment, “yeah, I guess you’re right.”

I sighed, “so where do we go from here?”

Blake said, “I’m sure the lab will confirm that Jesse was trying to drug Randy and my guess would be that he did the same to Rob and Alex.”

I nodded, “yeah, I think so too, but what about Tyler and Joey?”

Blake let out a deep breath, “we don’t have much to go on there, do we?”

I looked at the clock, it was about 7, I said, “Maybe a goodnight sleep will help us have a revelation tomorrow, how about we call it a day?”

I called Lucas as I walked to the car, “hey babe, where are you?”

He said, “I’m still at the hospital, we had a meeting with big boss, and you know how long winded he can be.”

I chuckled, “yeah, so you’ve told me. I’m just leaving the station now, I’ll grab some Chinese food on the way home, how’s that sound.”

Lucas said, “sounds great, I’ll be home in a half hour.”

I got home and got my loving from Lucy and let her outside while I made a rum and Coke for both Lucas and me. I changed my clothes and let Lucy back in and gave her a treat, just as Lucas came home. She gave Lucas his kisses, which earned her another treat, a little trick she learned to get double treats, right after we brought her home. I gave Lucas a kiss as I handed him his drink, I asked, “how was your day?”

He sighed, “I had to play Maurey today?”

I chuckled, “Maurey? What does that mean?”

He rolled his eyes, “I had to tell an eighteen-year-old kid, sitting there holding a newborn baby, “you are not the father” and then turn to his “best friend” that was standing next to him, “you are the father”.”

I said, “wow, that must have been rough.”

Lucas downed his drink, “yep, the worst part was the first kid really seemed like he wanted to be a dad and the other one looked like he wanted to run away. I feel so sorry for that baby.”

I poured us each another drink, “yeah, you should have to take a test or something to be able to have a baby. There are a lot of fucked up parents out there, and it’s the kids that never get any love that really suffer.”

Lucas looked up at me, “I’m sorry Drake, I didn’t mean to…”

I gave him a hug, “hey, it’s ok, I have you now, even though I don’t deserve you.”

He broke our embrace, “damn it, will you stop saying that?”

I asked, “saying what?”

He said, “saying you don’t deserve me. You do deserve to be loved, you do deserve to be cared about. Shit, I know you had a rough childhood, but damn it, I love you, Lucy loves you. Hell, my family loves you, and let me tell you, they hated the guy I dated before I brought you home.”

I saw Lucas’s eyes start to tear, so were mine, I said, “and I love you, Lucy, and your family too. I can’t tell you how good it made me feel when you all welcomed me into your lives, I had never felt like that before.”

He pulled me in for another hug, “see, you do deserve it, we all deserve it. Everyone deserves to be loved.”

I gave him a kiss and said, “thank you.” Lucy jumped up and started to lick our faces.

Lucas laughed, “yes, we love you too.”

We ate our dinner and cleaned up. After we showered together, we crawled into bed and cuddled together, all three of us. It was the best night’s sleep that I had had in a long time.

I arrived at work early the next morning, Blake walked in a few minutes later with two coffees.

He handed me a cup, “here, I figured we might need this. Did you have any revelations last night?”

I shook my head as I laid all the pictures out on my desk, “no, not about the case.”

Blake asked, “oh, did you have a revelation about something else?”

I chuckled, “no, never mind.”

He shrugged, “ok, so what are you thinking here?” he pointed to the pictures.

I said, “so, we have three missing guys, Rob, Joey and Alex and one attempted abduction, Randy. We believe Joey was with Tyler.” I placed each picture down as I said their names. “And we are even more sure that Jesse is involved with the other three, and we now believe that our victims were drugged.” Again, I put Jesse’s picture on the desk.

Blake took a sip of his coffee, “yep, now we just need to figure out where they all are and why they were abducted.”

As we were standing there staring at the pictures, Oliver Hemple walked in. Oliver was new to the department, he had started just a few months ago. He was a nice-looking young officer, about 5’10, blonde with blue eyes and two killer dimples. I had not worked with him on any cases yet, he mostly was doing administrative tasks and was slowly being worked into smaller investigations.

Blake said, “hey Ollie, what’s up?”

He smiled, “oh, I am just delivering these lab results from the samples you guys brought in last night.”

I took the folder from him, “thank you, Ollie.”

He flashed those dimples as he said, “your welcome Ridge… er I mean detective Ridgeway.”

I chuckled, “it’s ok, you can call me Ridge.”

Blake laughed, “but you can’t call him Drake.”

I gave Blake a stern look, then looked back to Ollie, “you can call me Ridge.”

Ollie looked at both of us, a bit confused. He glanced down at the pictures on my desk. He said, “hey, I’ve seen this guy before.”

I asked, “which one?”

He pointed to Rob Wilcox, “this one, I saw him last night on a…, oh, never mind.”

I said, “this is no time to turn shy Ollie, this guy is missing, where did you see him?”

Ollie suddenly looked nervous, “well, I, um, I…”
