Men Films Review

MenFilms is a new site featuring the work of porn producer Edward James. Information about the man himself is hard to find, but one online database shows he began directing in 1994 and his career ran through to 2024. He has filmed over 360 videos and he has worked with All Worlds, Jet Set, and Bacchus (there are others) and he filmed heavily in the Black and interracial niches, although not exclusively so. MEN, Next Door Studios, and Johnny Rapid are recent projects and his new site Men Films just launched in April 2026, although it got started in 2025, so let's head over and have a look.

Edward James ran an eponymous site for a while and it features Black men sucking and fucking. He eventually took the site over to Carnal Plus after a brief attempt to stand on its own. But the site left that network and is back on its own with connections to Ducati Studios Network where it offers some of its content on a channel there. Men Films is James' brand new venture that promises the "hottest, horniest, most hung guys ... delivering stunning bodies, rock-hard cocks, and eager holes hungry for thick dick and deep pounding."

In reality, the cast here is an oddball collection of second-stringers, porn performers from a decade ago, and some well-known gay performers who ae still filming today. For instance, Bobby Clark was well-known a dozen years ago and got his start on the now defunct College Dudes 24/7, but he also filmed for Falcon Studios, MEN.com, but he hasn't appeared in anything for a long while. At the back of the catalog you'll find other familiar faces like Shane Erickson, Logan Robbins, Chad Leigh, Derek Stone, Marcus Steele, and even a much younger Jason Sparks who is still a very active director and sometimes performer. They're a mix of good-looking jocks and hunks with nicely muscled or gym-fit physiques. Each model has a profile page with a description and links to his scenes, but there are no stats.

One of the latest videos called "6-Man Orgy Ends with So Much Spooge!" features Adam Awbride, Aiden Asher, Jax Thirio, Jesse Bolton, Blaine Porter, and Apollo Fates, a nice selection of known and current porn performers. A few of the scenes feature a couple of guys who have been brought in to fuck a woman, but when she doesn't show (and after much drama around her pending arrival) the guys are offered more cash to fuck each other. Many of the other scenes simply open with the guys making out, then one goes down on the other, and this leads to lots of horny fucking which is a mix of bareback (newer) and condom sex (older). There are seven solos, one threeway and another small group, and the rest of the 44 videos are duos.

It's difficult to get a sense where this site is headed because what's on offer feels like a mixed bag of films directed by Edward James over the years, but ones that never found a permanent home anywhere else. The latest releases do feature well-known porn performers and these feel recent, so I'm hopeful that we'll see more of this in the weeks ahead. But otherwise Men Films doesn't fit into a neat and tidy category like jocks, twinks, or daddies, although there are some of each. And all of the men are Caucasian with a couple of Latinos making an appearance.

There are 44 videos in MP4 format and they run from 12 to 24 minutes each. There are some a little longer or shorter, but most fall within this range. The videos are offered as streaming only, downloads can be purchased off the tour for $15 each, but there aren't any purchase links within the members area. The scenes stream in five sizes from 360p (low SD) to 1080p (Full HD) and the player auto plays the lowest quality, which isn't very good, so you'll want to reselect a better quality version. The videos are generally pretty good quality, although some, even at the highest quality, aren't very crisp. I assuming these are older videos that were probably enlarged to 1080p and that definitely affects the quality. The videos are mobile compatible, and except for a technical glitch that I'll talk more about in a bit, they played well.

Each episode has a set of screencaps that display at 1993x3000 (or reverse in landscape orientation). There are around 60 good quality pics that portray the models and the scene's action well, although there are a lot of similar poses, so the numbers could be pared down a bit. There are forward and back controls on the picture viewer and there's a hands-free slideshow feature as well. You can save the pictures individually, but there's no downloadable zip file.

The videos are dated and the site uploaded their first video in June 2025. Since then, they've been adding a new video every Thursday. After two videos with current performers, the newest release features Shane Rock and Paolo in a scene they did for Bait Buddies in 2008. So this highlights that these videos aren't necessarily exclusive to Men Films, although I don't have time to do an exhaustive search, but if there's one, I'm sure there are others.

Under Sites on the navbar you'll find what appear to be bonus sites, but you simply get a preview to Johnny Rapid and Edward James. If you want to see full videos for either site, you need to purchase another membership; at least there's a 50% discount off a monthly membership. There's also a Cams option on the navbar which simply takes you to a webcam site where you can browse models and preview their free chats, but you'll need to buy tokens to get any real enjoyment out of it.

There are a few issues to talk about. There are two pre-checked cross-sells on the sign-up page. They can be a bit difficult to see because they are on the right side of the billing form under the Purchase Information and they are labelled as Bonus Sites, but they are really separate purchases. There's a major issue with video navigation: when you click on one of the subsequent pages under Videos, clicking a video on that page often takes you back to the first page rather than to the video itself. This happened on both my desktop and mobile. There is a workaround and you can access each video through a model's page, but that's cumbersome and we've reported this glitch to the site. Downloads aren't included in your membership and they can only be purchases off the tour and not from within the members area.

Men Films is a brand new site from gay porn director Edward James whose career has spanned over 30 years. The site uploaded it's first video in June 2025 and they've been adding a new scene very Thursday. Most of the videos are old scenes, but some are newer, and still more have appeared on other sites. There are 44 videos to stream (downloads can be purchased off the tour) and they're mostly good quality, although some aren't at all crisp. Men Films gets a mixed review from me. The site is a mixed bag of types of guys and doesn't have a coherent or discernable theme, unless guys sucking and fucking is a theme. Since the content mostly comes from the last two decades of James' career, I would have been happier with some bonus content. We'll keep an eye on this one and let you know how it progresses in the weeks ahead.
