Bareback Box Review

Bareback Box is a DVD theater full of titles featuring bareback sex, piss play, gangbangs and group sex with masculine men, leather men, hairy guys in their forties, and daddies a little older than that – all of them pounding ass and taking dick in edgy sucking and fucking sessions. The site brings us raunchy content from producers like Treasure Island Media, Dick Wadd, Hairy & Raw, and many others. It's been over 3.5 years since our last visit, so we're long overdue for another look, especially since there are fewer DVDs and the site no longer updates.

You'll find hot guys in their twenties and thirties, as well as mature men and daddies into their fifties and sixties. Many are well-known porn performers like Antonio Biaggi, Adam Russo, Sean Duran, Atlas Grant, and Parker Logan, even the late Dale Savage is here. There are both smooth and hairy men and a mixture of bearded and clean-shaven dudes. While there are many porn performers here, there are many amateurs here, especially in the Treasure Island Media group scenes, and some of these first-timers went on to have porn careers, others were one and done – or maybe two or three and done.

The DVDs come from 20 studios, Dark Alley Media is no longer here, but more about that in a minute. Treasure Island Media, Wurstfilm, Hot Desert Knights, Hairy & Raw and Dick Wadd are among the more well-known producers, but there are just as hot videos from the lesser-known studios. The titles are arranged in 46 categories including Leather, Pigs, Blue Collar, Chubs, Gloryholes, and lots more. Older scenes in the inventory also include porn stars like Matt Sizemore, Dominik Rider, Dominik Rider, the late Steve "TitPig" Hurley, and many others. There are also some DVDs offering Latin men, Black studs and interracial action, and a good selection of uncut cocks.

Bareback Box offers 783 DVD titles and this is a drop from the previous 957 DVD titles that were here 3.5 years ago. Each DVD has anywhere from four to seven scenes so the run times can vary from one to two hours. If you have an unlimited membership, you can stream as many as you like; if you're on the pay-per-minute plan your credits start ticking as soon as the videos start playing. 

The videos stream in a fixed player sized at around 770x434 with a choice of streaming speeds, and there's an auto-detect function. Unlike most sites these days, this player does not resize to fit your screen. While the videos are decent quality as long as you choose high-speed versions to stream, the lower quality versions aren't as clear or sharp at full screen. You are able to use the slider to skip through each DVD, but there are no individual scenes or clips to select. The videos played fine and looked good on my Android phone and tablet. Downloads aren't included in your membership, but you can buy them for around $10.95 each.

Each DVD comes with a set of non-clickable screencaps. These are basically large thumbs that are sized at 450x253, but they're shown smaller on the pages, at around 384x214, and while they can't be enlarged, quality is pretty good and you can right-click and save the ones you want.

One of the issues at BarebackBox is the lack of dated episodes, so it's pretty hard to tell what's happening here. However, the second latest release is called "Cum Glazed" and it was released in 2004, so 22 years ago. Another called "Real Pigs" was released in 2021, not quite as old, but still not new. The other issue that confuses things is that there are 174 fewer DVDs than were here when we last reviewed the site in April 2023. A couple of years ago, Dark Alley, a producer of bareback porn had a squabble with PPV Networks over the use of its copyrighted content, and no doubt the removal of these DVDs played a big part in the drastic reduction in their video count. PPV Networks had a similar issue with Eric Videos and those DVDs were also removed.

One last thing I'd like you to consider before we wrap up this review. Unless you're gagging to see a particular DVD title, you may wish to consider Raw Fuck Club which is a massive bareback site also run by PPV Networks. It's a streaming-only site, just like Bareback Box, but it offers you well over 30,000 videos with daily updates from the porn performers starring in the videos. And while Bareback Box hasn't updated their streaming players and doesn't update at all, Raw Fuck Club has a massive library that plays in an adaptive video player and gives you so many daily updates that you would never watch them all before the next day's allotment is added.

Bareback Box delivers 783 DVDs featuring bareback sucking and fucking, including facial cumshots, creampies and cumplay; there's also some fisting, bondage, rough sex, gangbangs and lots of watersports. While it has lost 174 DVDs since our last review, there's still a lot to see here, but it does stream in a older, non-adaptive player and the lower quality videos don't enlarge so well when played at full screen. There's a selection of membership options including a standard unlimited membership, several pay-per-minute options, and a plan where you buy only the tickets you want, which means you don't have to worry about recurring billing. It's unusual to see a pay-per-view site with recurring options, but the prices are competitive with other PPV sites, and power users will appreciate the unlimited monthly option. The bottom line - Bareback Box delivers with plenty of raw hardcore bareback movies, although honestly, there are better options out there.
