Ridge

I arrived at the Pink Parrot to find Lucas, Andy and Ollie were already at our table with a drink in front of them.

Adam, the bartender, smiled, “Hey Ridge, the usual?”

I returned his smile, “Yes please.”

I gave Lucas a kiss as I sat next to him. He said, “I told Adam to start a tab for us.”

I grinned, “Perfect.” I looked at Andy and said, “Congrats Andy, have you guys set a date yet?”

He chuckled, “No, not yet. We may just take a long weekend and go to Vegas.”

Lucas said, “We are both very happy for you guys.”

Ollie leaned over and gave Andy a kiss as Blake and Hannah walked in. I stood and gave Hannah a hug and said, “Congrats on the happy news.”

She rolled her eyes, “Thanks, now that the shock has worn off, I guess we are starting to get a little excited about it. But Blake is definitely keeping that doctor’s appointment next week.”

Blake rolled his eyes, “Yes dear.”

As Adam brought us our second drink, Devin walked in with a very nice-looking man and introduced him as his husband, Mike. I made the rest of the introductions.

I said, “We’re so glad you made it.” I turned to the bartender and added, “Adam, please bring these guys whatever they want.”

Devin smiled, “We’ll both have a Miller please.”

Adam smiled, “Sure thing, be right back.”

Devin

Ridge introduced me to Blake, Hannah, Ollie and Andy. I had seen Blake and Ollie at the police station but had never been formally introduced to them. I introduced Mike to everyone as Adam returned with our beers.

As Mike took a big drink of his beer, I smirked and whispered, “Are you a bit dehydrated?”

He smirked back, “Maybe?”

I looked across the table to see Ridge and Lucas laughing at us. Ridge gave us a wink and I’m sure Mike and I both blushed. Luckily Ollie and Blake were talking and didn’t seem to hear us.

Lucas asked, “Did you get all of your interviews done, Devin?”

I smiled, “Yes, I finished yesterday and spent the morning working on my notes.”

He said, “That’s great, then we have lots to celebrate tonight. You got your interviews done, these guys solved their case, Blake and Hannah are expecting a new bundle of joy, and Ollie and Andy are getting married.”

I said, “Wow, that is great. Congrats to everyone. When is the baby due?”

Hannah smiled, “I’m eight weeks along, so about 7 months. My doctor told me he would give me a more accurate date at my next appointment.”

Blake sighed, “My doctor appointment is next week, ‘so this doesn’t happen again’.” He gave Hannah a look that told us she has used those exact words before.

Mike chuckled, “So I take it this wasn’t planned?”

Hannah rolled her eyes, “Not exactly…”

Blake chimed in, “But we are thrilled.”

Hannah said, “We were a bit shocked at first, but we are happy.”

I turned to Ollie and Andy, “So what about you guys? Have you started to make wedding plans?”

Ollie shrugged, “Not really. We have talked about a quick trip to Vegas, but I think we’ll check out a few other places too.”

Andy added, “It’s not going to be anything big or fancy. Probably just Ollie’s folks and these guys.” He pointed to Ridge and Blake.

Ollie said, “Of course, Lucas and Hannah are also going to be there.”

Andy then explained that he worked with Lucas and that Lucas actually introduced him to Ollie. Ridge was going to be Ollie’s best man and Lucas was going to be Andy’s.

I turned to Lucas and Ridge and asked, “What was your wedding like?”

Ridge chuckled, “We got married by a judge at city hall.

Lucas added, “Ridge would not have been comfortable with anything more. It was just us and my parents, and it was perfect. It was right after they legalized same-sex marriages in 2015.”

Ridge shrugged, “I just wanted to get to the honeymoon.”

The table erupted in laughter as Lucas took Ridge’s hand and rolled his eyes.

Ollie asked, “What about you guys? Did you have a big wedding?”

I said, “It wasn’t big. We just had family and a few friends over to Mike’s house…”

Mike interrupted, “Our house.”

I smiled at him, “Our house. The best part was when my college roommate showed up and brought my college boyfriend. He even sang us a couple of songs.”

Ollie asked, “Your college boyfriend was at your wedding?”

I chuckled, “Yes, we ended things when we graduated. Our careers took us to different cities; we are still good friends.”

Lucas asked, “Who was your roommate? Is he a good singer?”

I said, “My roommate was Walker Higgens, he is a great singer and has a few albums out. My boyfriend, Nate, is in his band and Walker is the one that introduced us when I told him I was gay.”

I then explained how things happened in college and told them about the songs Walker sang at our wedding. I told them about “That’s My Job” being special to me and my dad and the new song, “First Love” that he sang before he even released the single. *

Lucas gasped, “Oh, that Walker Higgens! I love that song “First Love”. I bawl like a baby every time I hear it. I love this big goon.” He put his arm around Ridge, “But that song always reminds me of Jace.” **

Ridge gave Lucas’s hand a squeeze as Lucas wiped a tear away.

Trying to lighten the mood, Mike turned to Blake and Hannah, “We’ve heard about everyone else’s wedding. What was yours like?”

Blake laughed, “Oh my princess had to have a fairy tale wedding. The only thing missing was doves being released when we kissed.”

Hannah slapped his shoulder, “It wasn’t like that, and you know it. It was a simple church wedding and Blake was just as much a part of planning it as I was. I will admit my mom got a little carried away on a couple of things, but she was paying, it was just easier to give in.”

Blake smiled and kissed Hannah’s cheek, “It was a lovely wedding, and I wouldn’t have wanted anything else. But I also just wanting to get to the honeymoon.” He gave Ridge a fist bump.

Ollie said, “No offense Hannah, I’m sure your wedding was great, but I just can’t do the whole church thing. Especially after this week.”

Blake’s eyes lit up, “You guys should have seen our little pitbull tear into that Reverend today.”

Blake then went on to tell us about how upset Ollie was with the reverend for doing his conversion therapy and why.

Andy looked at Ollie, “You make it sound a little more dramatic than it actually was.”

Ridge said, “It was still wrong that you didn’t have the support of your family when you needed the most.”

I squeezed Mike’s hand; he also was kicked out of the house when his parents learned he was gay. I saw Ridge, Andy and Mike share a knowing look. I knew about Ridge’s childhood and now I have a picture of what Andy had been through. I could see the hurt in all of their eyes; I was so thankful that my dad was so great.

I said, “How about another round? I’m buying.”

We got Adam’s attention and we soon all had a fresh drink in front of us.

I took a drink and said, “So is the offer to join us at the beach tomorrow still good?”

Ridge smiled, “Absolutely. Lucas and I would love to join you. There is a great bar right on the beach that we like to go to.”

Lucas grinned, “Yes, and Lucy loves it to. We haven’t taken her out in a while, we would like to bring her along, if that is okay with you.”

I chuckled, “Of course it is. We would love to have her along.”

Mike looked at me a little confused. I said, “Lucy is their dog, she is beautiful and such a sweetheart.”

Mike nodded, “You guys are welcome to join us too.” He motioned to Ollie and Blake and their partners.

Ollie smiled, “We are taking my parents out for lunch to tell them about us getting married, but thanks anyway.”

Blake nodded, “Yeah, we are going to see both of our parents too. They might want to know they are going to get another grandchild.”

As we drank our last drink, Ridge and Lucas told us where to meet in the morning and the best way to get there. We chatted as we all got ready to leave, Ridge and Lucas really did have a great group of friends, Mike and I were glad that we came out to meet them all.

Ridge

We slept in the next morning. It had been a long week, and I was a bit tired. Lucas was already out of bed when I woke up. I could smell bacon cooking and smiled as I walked into the kitchen to him making us a big breakfast.

I gave him a kiss and said, “Good morning, something smells delicious.”

Lucas smiled, “I thought a big breakfast would be in order since we probably won’t have much for lunch at the beach.”

Lucy’s ears perked up when Lucas mentioned the beach.

I chuckled as I scratched her behind her ears, “Yes, you can go to the beach with us today.” Her tail began to wag uncontrollably.

We ate the feast that Lucas had prepared and cleaned the kitchen before we got dressed to go to the beach. I had the top off of my Jeep and Lucy sat in the back seat as we drove to the beach. She was looking around like a queen surveying her kingdom, getting smiles from all the cars we passed along the way.

As soon as we parked she jumped out of the Jeep and ran straight to Devin. He and Mike had pulled in just ahead of us. Devin introduced Lucy to Mike, and she suddenly had a new friend. We walked to the bar that was on the beach and ordered a round of drinks and picked up our conversation from last night. After we finished our drink, we went for a swim.

After a few hours and a couple of more drinks, we decided to call it a day.

Lucas asked, “Would you guys like to come to the house tonight for dinner?”

I added, “That’s a great idea. We’ll stop by the store and grab some steaks and I’ll grill.”

Mike smiled, “That sounds wonderful.”

Devin said, “Oh no. I’ll stop by the store to get the steaks; I told you that dinner would be my treat.”

We discussed the rest of the menu and Devin had his shopping list all made out. They were going to go back to their hotel to shower and then stop by the store on the way to our house. Lucas and I wanted to take a shower too, sand just got everywhere after a day on the beach.

I had the grill going by the time Devin and Mike arrived. Lucas and I had to control ourselves during our shower, just seeing him naked always made me so horny. Mike confessed that he and Devin also had to restrain themselves.

We enjoyed the rest of the evening, after a great meal and few more drinks we were all ready to for bed. Devin and Mike were flying out on a noon flight the next day. We said our goodbyes and Lucas and were happy that we now had two more good friends. We even talked about a trip to Oklahoma in the near future.

On Sunday, Tom Willers called and invited me and Lucas to brunch, we gladly accepted. I was happy to see that DJ and Noah were also joining us.

Tom shook my hand, “We just wanted to thank you again for everything you did last week.”

I smiled, “Just doing my job, and I am relieved that everything turned out well. Not all of my cases end this way.”

We talked about what we had done since I left Augusta over 30 years ago. ***

Tom was the plant manager at a small company that manufactured parts for fountain soda machines. The kind of machines you find in most convenience stores. Beth had been a 3rd grade schoolteacher for the past 20 years, and DJ had a sister, Dana, she was still high school.

DJ told me he wanted to be an engineer and that Noah was studying to be an architect. I was glad that they both had a solid plan. Not only do Lucas and I want to go to Oklahoma, but we may also now need to go back to Augusta. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that, but we shall see.

On Monday, Blake, Ollie and I got to work on all the paperwork for the Lyle Anderson case.

Over the next few months, all of our victims resumed their lives, and our perps learned their fate.

Matt Harper and his family got a restraining order against his grandmother and cut all future contact with her. Since Matt had not been abducted and no money was exchanged, his grandmother had no charges files against her.

Carissa Walsh moved in with her girlfriend’s family, and she also filed a restraining order against her parents, just in case.

Gloria Tillman returned early from her mission trip to learn that she was being arrested. She was sentenced to 3 to 5 years, and Wyatt was happy to have the support of his grandparents going forward.

The three thugs were all given 10 to 15 years for their role in the kidnapping.

All the SOS donors chose to drop the fraud lawsuits against SOS, instead, Bill Taylor suggested they move their money to the Slocum Foundation,**** where it will actually help homeless gay teens.

Max and Sam each got help from the Slocum fund for their help in the SOS case. They found a place to live and are both now enrolled in college.

Anna Watkins was 5 years of probation and ordered to attend therapy sessions to help her get over DJ. She ended up taking the semester off and moved back in with her parents. She seems to be getting better and learning how to move on.

Joann Anderson was given a suspended sentence; she agreed to therapy as part of her plea deal. She and her daughter reconciled, and Joann has moved back to California to be near her.

Lyle Anderson was sentenced to 25 years and will be well into his 70s before he will be eligible for parole.

It was now about five months after we closed the SOS case. Lucas and I were packing for our trip to Ollie and Andy’s wedding. I went out to get Lucas and I, another rum and Coke and saw a package sitting on the counter.

I yelled back to the bedroom, “Hey Lucas, what is this package?”

He said, “Oh, I forgot about that, it was on the front step when I came home. It’s addressed to you, so I didn’t open it.”

He walked into the kitchen as I pulled a knife out to open the box. I pulled back the flap and saw the book with a note.

Lucas asked, “What is it?”

I pulled the book out, “It’s Devin’s book. ‘Missing in Miami’.”

He looked over my shoulder and said, “What’s the note say?”

I started to read:

Ridge and Lucas,

Mike and I wanted to thank you again for your hospitality during our stay in Miami. Here is an advanced copy of the book about the Slocum Sex Ring case. I hope you like it and that I captured the events accurately.

I have also included a second book that I wrote using my alter ego, I hope you enjoy it as well.

Mike and I are still looking forward to you guys coming to Oklahoma.

Thanks again,

Devin

I looked at Lucas as he pulled the second book from the box and grinned.

I asked, “What is it?”

Lucas chuckled as he read the back cover, “’Lost in New Orleans’ finds our hero, Francis Sullivan, investigating the disappearance of several young gay men. Just remember, you should call him Sully, the only person allowed to call him Francis is husband Lewis…”

I rolled my eyes, “Are you saying Devin turned us into some trashy novel?”

Lucas was laughing as started to flip through the book and immediately found a sex scene, he nodded, “This part is kind of hot.”

I shook my head and said, “I’ll take the real book and read it on the flight, you can read that one to me when we’re back in the hotel after the wedding.”

We went back to our bedroom and finished packing, Lucas picked up the book again started to read another sex scene.

Lucas chuckled as began to read, “Sully picked up Lewis and carried him to their bedroom. He started to rip his clothes off as soon as he threw Lewis on their bed. Sully had been so busy working his current case that he felt like he had been neglecting his husband. He let their dog, Lucky out into the backyard and returned to the bedroom…”

I grabbed the book and threw it to the floor. Lucas grinned at me as I pulled his shirt over his head. I saw Lucy sitting there watching us, so I let her outside and shook my head as I walked back to our bedroom. God, that Devin really was observant and he was even getting the facts right in his erotic books.

Lucas was grinning at me as I walked back into the room, he was just standing there shirtless, waiting for me to pick up where I had left off. I rolled my eyes and gave him a kiss as I started to unbutton his pants and push them off his hips. His underwear quickly followed.

I pushed Lucas onto the bed and leaned down to devour that luscious dick. After I licked up a drop of precum, I ran my tongue under that sexy foreskin. I pulled back and started to lick his head like a lollipop. I so loved the taste of the man that I love. Lucas was rewarding me with even more precum, trying to quench my hunger.

He groaned as he pulled me off his cock to give me another kiss. He was fumbling with the buttons on my shirt and pants. We broke our kiss just long enough for me to become just as naked as he was. We both fell back on the bed to resume our make out session, stroking each other’s manhood as we kissed.

As much as I liked kissing Lucas, I wanted another taste of his love stick. I kissed and licked my way down that smooth chest and stomach. Even though I wanted that cock back in my mouth, I skipped it for the moment and gave those plump nuts a kiss and then sucked them into my mouth. Lucas always did like his balls played with and I was happy to make him happy. Lucas grabbed the back of my head as he spread his legs. I started to work a finger into his hole as I continued to suck his nuts. Another moan from Lucas confirmed that he like his ass played with as well.

I finally returned to sucking Lucas’s cock, slurping down the all the juices that were leaking from the over stimulated head. Lucas still had his hands on the back of my head as I bobbed up and down. He let out an “Oh God” and pulled me up for another kiss.

He broke our kiss and then he kissed his way down my body, just as I had done to him. My cock jumped when he also skipped it and went for my nuts. I guess I liked my nuts being licked too. Soon enough, Lucas left my nuts and gave my pole the loving it had been craving since this whole love making session had started. God, I love this man.

Just as he had me on the brink of climax, Lucas released my cock and rolled onto his side and pulled one leg up in the air. I smiled, I knew what he wanted and was only too happy to oblige. I leaned down and started to kiss and suck the perfect pink pucker. Once I had it covered in my slobber, I moved onto my side behind Lucas and began to kiss his neck as my cock disappeared into its favorite place.

Lucas sighed as I bottomed out and began to piston in and out. We craned our necks and kissed as I fucked my man. Lucas reached around and grabbed my ass as I found his hard cock and stroked him. It didn’t take much longer for us to both release our loads at the same time, me inside my soulmate and Lucas all over my hand.

Once our spasms stopped, I licked my hand and shared Lucas’s cum with him with another kiss. We were able to catch our breath and then cleaned up a bit. I let Lucy back in the house and we all crawled into bed for good night’s sleep. We were traveling the next day for Ollie and Andy’s wedding; we were both looking forward to a relaxing weekend on the beach.

Ollie

The SOS case was really personal to me, I hate to think about how close Andy came to being just like DJ, Noah, Wyatt and Carissa. I was glad all the victims were home safe and the bad guys all got what they deserved.

As soon as the case was over, Andy and I were trying to figure out our wedding plans. Neither of us wanted anything big or fancy, but we had decided that Vegas was too cliché.

About a month after we closed the SOS case, Ridge, Blake and I were investigating a child abduction. We quickly learned the kids were probably taken by their father. The parents were in the middle of a messy divorce, and we knew the father had just left town to go back to Boston, where he was from. Blake was going to the kids’ school to talk to their teachers and Ridge, and I were going to the Miami Airport to review some surveillance footage with the TSA agents. We had a few minutes before our meeting and decided to get a cup of coffee.

As I walked up to the counter to order our coffee, I saw a slightly taller, beefier, furrier version of me. We exchanged smiles as I returned to the table that Ridge had sat down at. We tried to figure out the story of the table next to us, that included my new friend. I heard the barista call my name and went to collect my coffee; my bigger twin did the same. Not only did we share similar looks, but we also shared the same name. The table quickly invited us to join them, it included not only Ollie and his new husband Corey, but also their dads, Ollie’s grandparents and good friend, a Dallas police officer and his wife. I chuckled at the similarities between Officer Kevin and Ridge. We learned they were going to St. John in the Virgin Islands. We needed to get to our meeting, so Ridge and I excused ourselves as I gave my twin one more smile.

That night when I got home, Andy and I were talking about our wedding again. I told him about the meeting at the airport.

I turned to him and asked, “Do you think I should grow a beard?”

He chuckled, “I love you the way you are, but if you grow a beard, I will still love you.”

I shrugged, “I’m not sure I could pull it off as well as Texas Ollie did, and I know I would never look as good as Corey did in his beard.” *****

Andy gave me a kiss, “I’ll love you either way.”

He had been typing on his laptop as I was pondering how I would look with facial hair, maybe I should start with a moustache.

Andy smiled, “It looks awesome, what do you think?”

I asked, “About what?”

He turned the screen toward me, “St John, that place you were telling me about.”

We scrolled through the website and found the same place that I had heard about that morning. It was perfect.

I nodded, “Yeah, I can see us getting married there.”

I called my parents, Ridge and Blake, they were all in agreement, they loved the idea too. Ridge even told me that he was relieved that we didn’t go the Vegas route. Five months later, we were all on a plane headed to St. John. Even a very pregnant Hannah, she was due in about five or six weeks but was happy to have a long weekend to relax before the inevitable weeks of little or no sleep she was about to face.

We were arriving on Friday; the wedding was set for Saturday night. We would spend all day Sunday on the beach and everyone else would return to Miami on Monday. Me and Andy were staying for the rest of the week and would fly home on the following Friday.

After we had checked into our villa, we all went to the beach for a quick rehearsal of our wedding. Then we went out for a nice dinner and then to bed early so we would all be well rested for our big day. I couldn’t wait, I know I hear about others having cold feet or pre-wedding jitters, but I had absolutely no doubts. I was even surprised at how calm I was, I knew this was what I wanted. The best part was that Andy was just as calm. Actually, my mom was the only one that was a nervous wreck, I’m not sure why. The staff had the whole thing set up, from the actual ceremony to the dinner afterward.

It all went off perfectly, Saturday about an hour before sunset, Andy and I were standing on the beach with just our bare feet in the water up to our ankles. We were wearing matching white linen shorts and Cuban button-down shirts. We looked pretty cute if I do say so myself.

We were holding each other’s hands with Ridge and Lucas by our sides. Mom and dad, along with Blake and Hannah were also holding hands as they looked on. The officiant began the ceremony.

He started with all the marriage should not be entered into lightly stuff and then finally got to the part I wanted to hear.

Do you Oliver Joeseph Hemple, take Andrew Charles Chase to be your husband… Blah blah blah, I was tuning him out as I stared into Andy’s beautiful brown eyes, lost in the moment.

I was brought back to reality when Andy squeezed my hand. I suddenly realized that the officiant was waiting for my response.

I said, “I do.”
