“These charlatans aren’t going to get away with this charade. I’m going to expose them for the fakes they are. Superheroes, what a joke. These things are choreographed, but it has to be someone professional guiding it. It’s too professional to be done this well by amateurs. I’m going to be the one to expose them and show the country and the world the posers that they are”, the guy said, seeing the internet news that Steve Andrews and Ian O’Connor were getting married. He then sent a text to an online follower.

The wedding drew closer, and the plans were coming together. The Best Men would be Carl and Chad. The Groomsmen/Ushers would be Tony, Scott, Mike, Ryan, Davey, and Greg. Little Ben would be the Ring Bearer and Cindy would be the Flower Girl. A large wedding party, but Steve and Ian wanted to include each one and even more, but it grew a little too cumbersome. Ian even joked that the pier would collapse under the weight of just the wedding party.

On the drive home, Ian was acting a little strange. Steve recognized Ian’s nervousness but figured Ian would eventually get what ever was on his mind, out of his mouth. As they pulled into the garage and the door closed, Steve turned to Ian and asked, “Ok Ian, what is it? I know something’s bothering you”. Ian didn’t look at Steve. He just stared at his feet, before saying, “My parents want to meet you”. Steve looked surprised and asked, “You finally told them”? Ian continued to look at his feet, “Well, not exactly. I had called them to discuss it, but I had to leave a message and then mom called and said she’d heard I was getting married to the guy I’d been in the news with and wanted to know if it was true”. Steve looked at Ian to try to judge his state of mind, “So what did you tell her”? Ian replied, “I told her that was why I had been trying to contact them, so I could tell them myself before they heard it from elsewhere. She said my dad was upset and didn’t believe it was true”. Tears began to form in Ian’s eyes as he said, “I was afraid he wouldn’t be ok with me being gay. He always talked of me getting married and having kids so he could spoil them”. Tears were now running down Ian’s cheeks. Before Steve could say anything, Ian said, “My dad was set on a normal son who would give him grandchildren”. Steve leaned in and kissed Ian’s forehead before saying, “Ian, you are a normal son. Don’t ever doubt that and you are an awesome fiancé and soon to be husband. I’m sure your dad will come around, if not right away, eventually”. “But what if he refuses to attend our wedding”, Ian asked? As they exited the car and went into the house, Steve pulled Ian into the living room, sat him down on the sofa and then sat next to him, “Ian, I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you and whatever you face going forward, we’ll face it together”. Ian smiled slightly and said, “I love you so much Steve. Until I met you, I didn’t realize that something was missing in my life. I thought I was pretty happy, but after being with you, it felt like a piece I’d been missing had finally been put in place. You make me feel complete Steve”. Steve smiled and said, “Same here Stud. You filled a hole in my life I didn’t realize existed. So when do your parents want to meet me”? Ian grinned sheepishly and said, “I told mom I’d see if Thursday evening would be ok”. Steve said, “Ok. I guess the sooner the better”. Ian gave Steve a guilty look as he said, “I’m sorry I have to put you through this Steve”. Steve smiled and said, “Nonsense. I’m looking forward to meeting the two people who brought my soul mate into this world”.

Thursday afternoon Steve and Ian were on their way to the O’Connor house. Steve looked over to Ian, who was driving and said, “Ian, you look like you’re about to meet your parents for the first time instead of me. You’re sweating and gripping that steering wheel like it’s trying to get away”. Ian glanced over to Steve momentarily and said, “I feel like I did  when I brought home my first report card from school with a D on it”. Steve grinned and asked, “I’m a D”? “No! That’s not what I meant”, Ian began before glancing to Steve and seeing the grin on his face, “You know that’s not what I meant”. Steve laughed and said, “Yeah, but it looks like I got you to smile finally”.

They parallel parked on the street and then walked up to a semi-detached home and the door opened as they approached. A woman with red hair stood in the doorway smiling. Ian gave her a hug and said, “Hi mom”. She squeezed him in a tight hug back and said, “Hello sweety”, as she glanced over Ian’s shoulder at Steve, eyeing him up, “You must be Steve”. Steve smiled at her and said, “Yes Mrs. O’Connor. I’m Steve. Nice to meet you”, Steve said extending his hand. Mrs. O’Connor ended her embrace of her son and moved around him and pushed Steve’s outstretched hand aside and embraced him, “It’s nice to finally meet you Steve”. Steve looked to Ian over her shoulder and saw him shrug his shoulders and smile. When Mrs. O’Connor ended the embrace, she said, “Please, call me Catherine. Mrs. O’Connor seems too formal for someone who is about to marry my son. Please, come in”.

As they entered the house, Steve thought it was much like the house he had lived in as a kid, except theirs was a row home. Once he was inside, Steve noticed the dark-haired guy in the recliner eyeing him cautiously. As Ian closed the door, his mom, Catherine said, “Matthew, be polite and introduce yourself properly”! “Yes dear”, the guy said as he slowly stood up. “Dad, this is Steve. I wanted to intoduce you before..”, Ian began before Matthew O’Connor cut him off, “Yes, I know who he is Ian”. The stern, Icy tone in Mr. O’Connor’s voice worried Steve as he saw Ian’s eyes drop down. “Matthew”, Catherine shouted and then she put a hand on Ian’s shoulder for reassurance. Matthew O’Connor reached his hand out to Steve and Steve reached his out as well and they shook hands. “Nice to meet you sir”, Steve said as he shook his hand and realized he was staring at him eye to eye. The handshake was firm and they both locked eyes. Ian looked on, as, for a moment, it seemed like a war of wills between his dad and boyfriend, then suddenly Matthew released his grip and embraced Steve. Ian stood in shock, watching his dad hug Steve. As he pulled from the embrace, Matthew said, “You’re not what I was expecting Steve”. Steve replied, “What had you been expecting, Mr. O’Connor”? Mr. O’Connor smiled and replied, “Fair question. I’ve always viewed my son to be very masculine as I’ve viewed myself. Therefore, when I heard the news about the marriage, I assumed his partner must be the girl in the relationship, feminine. I was expecting a dishrag handshake”. “Dad”, Ian said in exasperation! Steve smiled and said, “Neither Ian, nor I are feminine in nature. We just love each other. I think people should forget about the stereotypes about gay relationships”. “Catherine and I love our son and want the best for him. If this is what he wants, then I have no choice but to realize that’s what is going to happen. We raised him to be independent and responsible and I’m sure I can speak for Catherine, we’re really proud of him”, Matthew said. Steve saw a tear in his eye as well as seeing a tear welling up in Ian’s eye. Steve saw a loving family getting a grip on things and said, “Mr. O’Connor, Catherine, Ian is my soul. I love him so much that I don’t know how I survived without him for this long. I want to have your permission to marry him if you will give it”. Mr. O’Connor replied, “Ian’s an adult. He doesn’t need our permission”. “I need to check on dinner”, Catherine said as she excused herself and went to the kitchen. “Have a seat, boys”, Mr. O’Connor said, indicating the sofa. Steve and Ian sat down on the sofa as Mr. O’Connor sat back in his recliner and began, “Ian, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around how two men can love each other like a man and woman can. It’s something I can’t understand”. Ian looked close to tears as Steve squeezed his hand for support. Mr. O’Connor continued, “Like I said, Ian, you’re an adult now and I trust you to make decisions responsibly. If you choose to have a relationship with another man, I can’t stop you”. Suddenly Ian squeezed Steve’s hand harder, and his eyes flared open, “Dad! I didn’t choose to be gay. I don’t know that any guy would, given all the homophobic bullshit that pervades this planet”! “Ian”, Steve said quietly to calm him down. Steve then realized Mr. O’Connor’s eyes were watering up. “Ian. I’m sorry. Maybe I didn’t say that as well as I should have. I love you son and I want to support you in everything you do. It’s just something that’s difficult for me to understand. I need time to get used to all this. Can you give me that Ian”, Mr. O’Connor asked? A tear rolled down Ian’s cheek as he slowly nodded his head. Mr. O’Connor smiled for the first time and suddenly stood up. At the same time, Ian stood and in an instant father and son were embracing in a loving hug. Both had tears running down their cheeks. Steve sat there smiling. Catherine entered the room saying, “What’s all the…”, but stopped short as she saw her husband and son embracing. She smiled as a tear ran down her cheek as well. The father and son hug eased slightly as Mr. O’Connor looked toward Steve and motioned him to come over. Steve stood and crossed the room to them. Suddenly he was pulled into a three-way hug with Ian and his dad. “If my son loves you enough to want to marry you, you must be a good man Steve”, Mr. O’Connor said before breaking the embrace. Catherine then walked over and hugged Ian tightly and then turned to Steve and gave him a hug as well and said, “Welcome to the family, Steve”. Steve smiled and said, “Thank you Mrs. O’Connor”. “It’s Catherine, or mom if you’d like”, Mrs. O’Connor replied. Mr. O’Connor added, “And Steve. It’s dad or Matt, whichever you’re more comfortable with. Now when will this wedding be”?

As Steve and Ian were heading home, every time Steve looked over at Ian, he had a huge smile on his face. “You know Stud, at first I thought this day was going to crash and burn, but I think it turned out pretty well”, Steve said grinning. Ian glanced over making brief eye contact before concentrating on the road again and said, “Pretty well? It was fantastic and I was so worried my dad would disown me”. “I’m really happy to see that smile back on your face Stud. It was breaking my heart to see you so down. I’m glad things worked out between you and your dad. He may seem gruff on the outside, but I saw the real love he has for you on the inside today”, Steve said. Ian’s smile actually grew bigger, “Yeah, he’s really great isn’t he”? “Yeah, he is. Your mom is as well and a fantastic cook. Dinner was awesome”, Steve replied. As they pulled into the garage and Ian shut off the car, they both moved toward each other and kissed.

Friday morning, Steve awoke and noticed Ian wasn’t in bed. Suddenly the bedroom door opened, and Ian entered with a tray full of food, “Thought I’d surprise you with breakfast”. Steve smiled as he sat up and said, “It’s definitely a surprise. I couldn’t even smell the bacon”. Ian giggled and said, “I made the bacon on the grill outside so you wouldn’t smell it. I kept the exhaust fan on in the kitchen because I was afraid you’d smell the coffee. If we have time, I’ll take care of Jr. for you before work”, Ian said, indicating the tent in the sheet over Steve’s crotch. “What did you expect after that giggle Ian. You know what your giggle does to me”, Steve said defensively. Ian giggled again and Jr. jumped. They didn’t have a lot of time after breakfast, so while they showered, Ian dropped to his knees and took Steve’s cock in his mouth. He looked up at Steve, who was looking down at him with a smile on his face. Ian smiled back even though his mouth was full of Steve’s hard shaft. After a few minutes, Ian pulled off of Steve’s cock and stood up. He was about to turn around when instead, Steve said, “Not yet Stud. My turn”, and then dropped to his knees and was soon slurping on Ian’s rigid shaft. A few minutes later, Steve noticed Ian’s breathing getting heavier, he pulled off Ian’s cock and stood up. Ian smiled and turned, “Fuck me Steve”. Steve smiled and said, “Gladly”, and then began sliding his hard shaft up and down the deep crevasse between Ian’s hard buns. They were both breathing heavily, and Ian begged, “Please Steve. I need you in me now”. Steve then slowly pushed inside Ian until his abdomen was firmly pressed against Ian’s firm butt. “Fuck yes”, Ian cooed as he pushed back feeling Steve’s pubes against his smooth cheeks. Steve then began slowly fucking him, gradually increasing speed. “Fuck yes Steve. Fuck me harder”, Ian pleaded. “You got it Stud. I’m gonna pound your sweet, tight ass”, Steve said as he began slamming into Ian causing loud slapping noises which mixed with their heavy breathing. After a few minutes of that, Ian cried out, “Fuck yes! Fuck me! I’m cumming”! Ian’s hands were bracing him against the shower wall as Steve held him by his hips while pounding into him. Cum jetted from Ian’s untouched cock, splattering against the shower wall. Steve felt Ian’s anal walls gripping him with each blast of cum bringing his own eruption of cum inside Ian, “Fuck yeah Stud! I’m seeding your hot ass”! As their orgasms subsided, Steve leaned against Ian who was pressed against the shower wall sandwiching his own cum. Steve slowly withdrew his cock from Ian and said, “We’d better hurry and get cleaned up. We’re going to be late for work”. They washed each other clean and then hurried to work. They both had smiles on their faces the whole day.

Thursday during work, Ian noticed Steve leaving and wondered where he was going in the middle of the day. At the end of the day when he met Steve at the car, he asked him, “Where’d you run off to earlier”? “What do you mean”, Steve asked? “I saw you drive off right after lunch today. Is this part of this secret you want to keep from me”, Ian asked? Steve smiled as he got in the car and as Ian climbed into the passenger seat, Steve said, “As a matter of fact, yes, it is. However, when we get home, we’re going to discuss this secret”. Ian looked confused, “I thought you weren’t going to tell me the secret until after the wedding”. Steve grinned and said, “I never said that, but I let you assume it in order to give me time”. “Time for what”, Ian asked? Steve laughed, “Nice try Stud”.

As they approached the house, Ian noticed Melissa’s car in the driveway. “Why is Melissa here? I thought the back deck was finished on Tuesday”, Ian asked? “It was”, Steve replied without commenting any further. As they were entering the garage, Ian noticed another car pull into the driveway. It was Catherine’s. As they made their way up to the living room, Catherine, along with Cindy, Davey and Greg were already inside. Little Ben came running in to meet them as well. After the hugs were taken care of, Catherine said, “Well, I’m going to take the kids outside to play while the three of you talk”. “Thanks Catherine”, Steve said and after Catherine and the kids were outside, he said, “Let’s go sit down and have this conversation”.

In an online chatroom, a discussion ensued: Bad actor 1, “How do you propose exposing these guys if you don’t know where their next scene will take place”? Instigator, “I have some informants watching some of the larger studios which would have to be involved in these stunts”. Bad actor 2, “Have you got any leads yet”? Instigator, “Not yet, but I’m sure they’ll set something up before they have their wedding. They’ll want the publicity so the networks will cover their wedding”. Bad actor 1, “It’s not a wedding. It’s two fucking fags pretending to get married. A marriage is between one man and one woman”! Bad actor 3, “Yeah, I think we just crash the wedding and end their day on a bad note”. Bad actor 4, “Sounds like a plan to me. We could just push our way through and maybe toss the queers into the water. That’ll wreck their day”. Instigator, “Look guys, I don’t want any violence on my hands. I’m just looking to expose these frauds for who they are”. Bad actor 1, “Well, if you don’t get any leads by the time the wedding is held, we’ll take care of things”. Bad actor 2, “I guess it’s up to you then, (Instigator) to get your lead and expose them or else bad day for a white wedding. It’s gonna turn red”. Instigator, “Look guys, I don’t want to be part of that. I don’t want any blood on my hands”. Bad actor 3, “Then you better expose these fags before the wedding. If not, we take over”!

Back at the house, Cindy was picking flowers and the boys were helping. After she had a handful, they had a pretend wedding. Cindy pretended to be the flower girl (her actual role) and Davey and little Ben pretended to be Steve and Ian. Greg pretended to be the ring bearer. Cindy had retrieved two bread ties and twisted them to make two rings which Greg proudly held on a cushion from one of the stools from the patio. Catherine agreed to officiate the pretend wedding. Catherine couldn’t help but smile as each child played their part with a straight solemn face.

Inside the house, a different conversation was taking place. Ian sat down next to Steve and waited to hear what he had to say, while wondering what Melissa had to do with all of this. Steve began, “Ian, we’ve both been talking about having children in our lives. So, I’ve been looking into the possibilities”.
