Part 20

Around 12:30 or so everyone started straggling into the mansion for lunch. The guys were the first to return, Chuck and Fitz looking slightly muddy after their morning with the water department engineers. They seemed pretty satisfied with the outcome of the inspection. Only some minor repairs and maintenance would be needed on the water and sewage lines to the property, even though they had been in the ground for decades. Apparently the original builders of Norwood had paid for good workmanship when the property was constructed and everything was still in remarkably good condition. One less headache for Chuck, as the new owner.

Caroline and Lamar followed. Lamar looked all ship-shape and tucked in, with a sheaf of blueprints and floor plans under his arm, but if anybody was going to tell Caroline that her lipstick was smeared and her hair disheveled it sure wasn’t going to be me! She excused herself to go “freshen up,” and we all sat down at the table to go over the morning’s events. Not, of course, the scrimmage between Lamar and Caroline.

“Chuck,” I heard Lamar saying, ”Caroline actually had some good suggestions for the outbuilding renovations. Nothing major, so it shouldn’t run up the overall cost of doing them. But it didn’t hurt to have a woman’s eye looking at everything before we began all the rebuilding.” Well, Caroline’s eye had sure gotten a good look at Lamar’s monumental meat, if nothing else!

Caroline came back into the room and sat down. She had performed some repair work of her own on her make-up job and the lipstick smear was gone. Her hair was all back in place. I couldn’t really look at her for more than a moment, though, before starting to redden, so I turned away to focus on Jamie, Fitz, and Chuck.

I just stayed quiet as everyone prattled on about renovations and construction. Nobody was going to be interested at the moment in what I had to say about “Emma” and I could hardly bring up my unexpected video session in the empty security office.

We soon finished up with lunch. Lamar gathered up his plans and papers and said good-bye to everyone, his eyes lingering on Caroline. She seemed a bit flushed, the first time I’d ever seen her react to someone other than with a frown or a glare. “Jamie,” I asked, “are you up for another trip up the stairs, while Chuck and Fitz are around to back you up?”

Jamie was willing, so we repeated the morning exercise. Surprisingly, it went more smoothly than it had after breakfast. Jamie seemed to be getting the hang of maneuvering up and down the stairs. “Should we call home this afternoon and tell them to expect us back at Longacre tomorrow?” I asked him.

“I guess so,” Jamie replied.”As much as I’d like to we can’t stay here forever. You guys have been so good to us already,” he said to Chuck and Fitz, only realizing the double meaning after the words were out of his mouth.

“You don’t have to leave,” Chuck said. “I wish you wouldn’t.” Fitz nodded in agreement, looking directly at me.

“We’ll all still see each other,” I said. “We’re neighbors, after all. It doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to drive back and forth between our places.”

“True,” said Chuck. “But I’m afraid we won’t have the same, um, privacy at your place as we’ve had at Norwood. Unless you plan to start giving out timed reservations to use the shrubbery.” He giggled and so did I.

"Let’s call the folks later and see what they say,” I said. “But I’m pretty sure they’re going to want us back. They’ll be concerned that we’re overstaying our welcome, and Mom’s going to want us home to help keep herd on the Twits. They’ve probably driven her completely crazy already while Jamie and I both have been staying here.”

We went back to the living room where Caroline was distractedly leafing through that well-used copy of Italian Vogue. “Guys, I’m wasted,” she said. “Lamar and I trudged all over the property looking at the outbuildings. I haven’t hiked that much since Girl Scout camp! I’m going to go stretch out and take a nap before dinner. See you then!”

“Okay,” I piped up. “Have a good rest!” Hiking, my foot! Although I had no doubt that Caroline had experienced a most strenuous morning getting stretched out by Lamar, who evidently was very well equipped for the task! She slunk out of the room.

“You know, a little quiet time before dinner doesn’t sound like a bad idea,” Chuck said, staring meaningfully at Jamie. “Oh. Yeah,” concurred Jamie. “All that stair-climbing has me kind of tired.” Somehow he didn’t look the least bit tired.

“I think so, too,” said Fitz. “I want to get out of these muddy shoes, in any case. We did more than our share of tramping around this morning, too.” He shot me an equally meaningful gaze.

We all headed back upstairs. Jamie courageously tried the stairs again, rather than the elevator, and managed them well. There was no sign of Caroline. Chuck followed Jamie into his room and I heard the door lock. Fitz looked at me and waggled his eyebrows. “Would you step into my chambers?” he asked. “Mr. Kong and I would like to have a word.” This was going to be a perpetual running joke, I could see. Not that I had the least objection of spending more private time either with Fitz or King Kong!

“I think I can work you two into my busy schedule,” I said. I didn’t want Fitz to start thinking I was available at his beck and call. Although, right now, I was. I didn’t exactly have anything else happening right that moment. I followed Fitz into his suite and heard him carefully lock the door.

The next moment I felt myself wrapped in his huge arms and being lifted off the ground and into a deep, wet, powerful kiss. I could feel myself going limp in his tight embrace as I eagerly played sword-fighting games with his tongue. Fitz sat down on the bed and settled me down onto his lap. Something large seemed to be throbbing underneath me.

“I was wanting to do this all morning,” Fitz sighed into my ear. “So much better than talking about sewage lines with those two guys from the County. What have you been wanting to do? I’m hoping you still have things to talk about with your new friend King Kong. . .”

“You are SO bad,” I whispered into his ear. “But, yeah, I might have a thing or two to say to my new friend. I’m finding myself enjoying spending time with him,” I giggled.

“I’m glad,” said Fitz. “I hope you two will be spending a lot of time together. Would you mind, um, helping him out of his cage?”

“I think I can do that,” I answered kind of breathlessly. I wriggled downward out of his arms and pushed his knees apart. I settled in between them and began unbuckling his belt and unbuttoning his jeans.

“Thanks! These jeans are kind of strangling,” he said. I got to work unlacing his workbooks, which were still somewhat mud caked, and getting them off so I could remove his jeans completely.

“Well, you may be less strangled, but I suspect I’m about to be feeling that way in the next few minutes,” I grinned up at him.

Fitz looked back at me, with some concern on his face. “Izzy, it’s not some kind of a TV show challenge. I realize I’m, well, a bit much. You do what feels good. Believe me, everything you do for me feels good. Much, much more than good!”

“It’s OK, Fitz. Like I said, I’m not going to hurt myself with you. But you are kind of a challenge, and just the kind of challenge I like!” I grinned back, wickedly. “With some practice I’m sure I can handle all of you.”

“I just want to be sure you don’t feel like you have to do more than you’re able to. This isn’t an Iron Man thing. And you need to know that every single thing you’ve done with me has felt incredible. Way better than that!” Fitz said. “I just hope you feel the same way. You can’t imagine how much I like being with you, Izzy. Even just sleeping together, like last night. You might be surprised, but it’s been quite a while since I’ve been with anyone who feels so good to be with.”

I could feel myself starting to blush. I hadn’t been fishing for compliments. Honestly. And I wasn’t sure how to react. I still wasn’t clear what, exactly, we were doing or where we might be going with this. I didn’t want to get in too deeply and find myself getting hurt.

“Understood,” I said. “Fitz, we’ve been honest, so I have to say I feel the same way you do. But we’ve just started to really know each other, so, like I said before, let’s take it all day by day and see where we go. Meanwhile, right now, my plan is to make you feel really, really good! Even if it is a bit challenging! Is that OK with you?”

“It’s more than OK,” Fitz said. “And I want to be sure you feel every bit as good about it. This is a two-way street.”

“I do feel good about it. I’m not sure you have any idea just how good! But right this minute there’s something huge and irresistible staring me in the face that’s calling for attention. Can we talk more about this later?” I didn’t give Fitz a real chance to answer, because I leaned forward and engulfed the gleaming head of his enormous cock between my lips.

“Sure,” he gasped. “L-later.” I tried opening wider and some of his thick shaft slid inside me. I heard Fitz moan and put his huge hands around my head, pulling me closer. “L-later!”

Part 21

After dinner, Jamie and I called to let our parents know we were planning on returning home tomorrow, now that Jamie was able to deal with stairs. You could hear the relief in Dad’s voice, particularly. Life with the the Twits running amok and Mom being in hysterics was driving him around the bend. Mom usually put up with the Twits better than Dad, Jamie and me, but even she sounded like she was at her wits’ end. “We should be home by lunchtime,” Jamie told them. “Thank God!” Dad uttered.

Dinner at Norwood had been more or less a re-run of lunch. The guys were busy hashing over the various construction projects. Caroline was cycling between being bitchy and being moony. I was in more or less the same boat I had been in earlier, because nobody was going to be interested in my fascination with “Emma” and I certainly couldn’t bring up the unexpected scene between Caroline and Lamar in the living room of Ivy Cottage.

Since nobody except, perhaps, Caroline had actually taken a nap that afternoon everyone was feeling a bit tired fairly early in the evening and we started dragging ourselves upstairs as soon as the late evening news was over. Apparently we weren’t all as tired as we claimed because the scuttling around between bedrooms of the past few nights repeated itself. It was going to be our last night at Norwood and who knew when the next time Chuck and Jamie would be able to spend the night together, or Fitz and I.

Maybe we were a little more tired than we realized. Fitz and I found ourselves more in the mood to cuddle for a while. I certainly had no objections! Being wrapped up in Fitz’s huge arms and kissing and nibbling leisurely on each other was wonderful. I had no doubt that Fitz could be a complete beast in bed if that mood struck him, but he could also be endlessly affectionate and gentle, as he was now. It was unexpected from someone as huge and physically strong as Fitz, but that’s how he is. I was glad, in a way, that I had yet to see all of his physical power unleashed. I knew he had a temper, but in the time I had known him I hadn’t seen any demonstration of it, and certainly not towards me. Instead, he was solicitous and protective, at times almost too much so. I still hadn’t fully convinced him that even though I’m so much smaller than he is I’m not completely fragile and breakable! Not that I didn’t appreciate his efforts to be careful — he towers over me and vastly outweighs me. But he was learning what worked and what didn’t. I knew he was still extremely affected by his boarding school disaster with his friend Ricky, but I wanted him to understand that he was now older and more experienced and there wasn’t any likelihood of that ever happening again. I guess it was working. We just cuddled together, kissing and snuggling and chatting and, before we knew it, we had drifted off to sleep wrapped around each other.

Before we nodded off we had been talking about what we would do next. “You realize, Izzy, that I’ve also got to go home sometime, too?” Fitz asked. “I’ve been here for weeks now. It’s been a wonderful break, but I have to get back to Pemberton sometime soon. I can’t do everything by phone or online. And it won’t be long before Glory comes home on her school break. As it is, we don’t see enough of each other now that she’s in boarding school, so I need to be there for her when she’s home.”

“Of course,” I responded. “I knew you’d have to go home sometime. I’m amazed you’ve been able to stay away from Pemberton for as long as you have.”

“Well, modern technology has made it a lot easier to be away and still be able to take of care of things, but not everything can be handled that way. And Pemberton’s my home, after all, and I start missing it after being away for a while.”

“Well,” I said sleepily, “We’ve talked about taking things slowly. We can still text and talk every day, if you want. Although it’s going to be really hard not being able to be together with you like this. I don’t want this to end.”

“I don’t, either,” murmured Fitz. “This feels right, doesn’t it? Being together this way?”

“It does. Righter than right. Fitz,” I said, “You’re the hottest guy I’ve ever been with. By far. But I’ve also never felt as comfortable with anyone, except Jamie. Whatever this is, it’s different from anything else I’ve experienced.”

“I’m feeling the same way,” Fitz murmured. “You’ve become amazingly special to me in such a short time. That’s never happened to me before. Of course I want to keep texting and talking with you. Maybe you could come for a stay at Pemberton before long? I really would like you to meet Glory. She’s young, but she’s surprisingly mature for her age. Not the least like Linda. I hope you’re not offended by my saying that.”

“I’m not. Linda doesn’t have a functional brain cell in her pretty blond head,” I said. “It drives me crazy. I can’t imagine what she’s going to be like when she gets older. All she can think about is clothes, parties, and boys, and I don’t know if that will ever change.” I gave Fitz a drowsy kiss. “But let’s not talk about Linda tonight. I’ll have to deal with her when I get home tomorrow. But, yes. I would like to visit Pemberton sometime, and meet Gloria. She sounds lovely, from everything you’ve said about her.”

“She is lovely,” Fitz said. “She’s sweet and quiet and kind of shy, but she’s very intelligent and she’s very talented, musically. You’ll like her, I’m sure.”

“Well, I sure like her big brother,” I said drowsily. “Her very big brother, if I may say so.” I snuggled up closer to him. His superhero chest felt like a warm, furry wall, hard and soft at the same time. “And you must be alike in some ways. You’re really intelligent, too. And you’re also quiet and kind of shy, which keeps surprising me. You take your time opening up to people.”

“I didn’t with you,” Fitz answered back. “I’m not sure why. You’re right that I’m usually very reserved around people I don’t know well. But as soon as we started talking I felt like I’d known you forever. That’s different for me. I mean, Chuck is my closest friend, but it took quite a while for that to happen after I first met him at St. Mark’s. We’ve barely met and you know more about me than almost anyone else except Chuck and Glory. I don’t know how that’s happened. But I’m glad it has.” Fitz’s chin rested on the top of my head as his muscled arms pulled me closer to him. “I can’t begin to tell you how glad I am that it has.”

I could hear Fitz’s breathing growing slower and steadier and realized he’d drifted off to sleep. I must have followed suit minutes afterward, because I remembered nothing else until the next morning when I woke up, spooned together with his arms still holding me closely, as the sun streamed into the bedroom.
