Tonight was the night, Marco had branded this BBQ as the party of the year. All together there were one hundred guests, and Millie and Coco were given the night off as caterers were there to cook, and serve the guests until the early hours or when ever the party finished.Carlos and Marco were having pre party drinks on the terrace, Marco with his obligatory bubbles and Carlos with a beer, he was asking about Tex. “So Marco, how exactly did you meet Tex, he’s popped out of nowhere?”

“You know what its like darling, one minute you’re sitting in a bar alone and tearful, the next thing you know, you’re getting fucked senseless by a six foot Texan, called Charles. God I hate that fucking name, it reminds me of a gold digging ex, and just for the record, I went back to Tex's house and I can assure you he’s loaded. So he won’t be sponging off me!” He poured himself another glass of bubbles and continued, “Its not often this happens to me nowadays sweetie, so I’m taking the bull by the horns, literally so to speak, and riding that fucker while I still can”Carlos roared with laughter,

“Is that why you’re wearing that easy access dodgy Kaftan, so you can tuck it under your armpits and get shagged stupid, I hope you’ve got ya knickers on under it incase the wind picks up?”. This time it was Marcos time to laugh, “Darling, I’ve even greased my hole, you know, just incase he wants a quickie behind the bike sheds"

They both fell about laughing like a pair of kids. Marco suddenly looked across the lawn “Oh, my, fucking, God. Carlos, I can’t believe, oh my, look, he truly is stunning" Carlos turned around and there was young Nathan walking across the grass toward them both, innocently smiling and waving. Marco spoke again, “He really has no idea how beautiful he is does he, Carlos, you really are the luckiest guy on the planet”

Carlos’s eyes welled up, “Tonight’s the night Marco, I’m going to ask him to marry me" “I knew it! I know you so well, I can always tell when you have something up your sleeve. And there was me thinking he just had a dirty ring" he roared with laughter again, but Carlos didn’t hear him, he just followed his boy across the lawn, trying to fight back his tears of love.Nathan walked up to Carlos and put his arms around his man, “You look like you’ve been crying Carlos” “Who me?, nah, it’s just the evening pollen” He turned and winked at Marco who spoke “You’ve been here long enough sweetie you know what its like, anyway, we all know that butch men don’t cry. Bubbles darling, or would you prefer wine?”

Jono soon joined them and then the guests started to arrive, Marco had allowed the boys to do a play list for the music, and he’d insisted the emphasis had to be on ‘Disco’, so both boys had to look up ‘Disco’ as they weren’t even born then. The first tune came on and Marco started to scream with joy, “Boys, BOYS, you’re amazing, this was the first song I heard when I went to studio fifty four!”

Everyone was dancing and Marco was singing to the words, of Joe Thomas, Plato’s retreat. “If you want some lovin, some part time huggin, let’s all do the freak at Plato’s retreat." He was in his own world spinning around in his kaftan and ‘doin the freak’People were having fun and enjoying themselves and then started to look across the lawn, as a six foot four Texan in a Stetson, trotted across the grass on a white stallion. Everyone started to clap, as Tex got closer and closer. Carlos tapped Marco on the shoulder who was blissfully unaware, that his dalliance had arrived.

“Marco, ya boyfriend is here" He turned around and stood there with his mouth open, then waved gleefully, “ Tex, TEX, I’m here sweetie" Tex, rode slowly over, dismounted, grabbed hold of Marco, slung him backwards like they were doing the Paso doble and kissed him passionately. Carlos caught Nathans eye who was clinging to Jono, the pair of them were cackling with laughter at this spectacle.

Tex then spun Marco around twice, then into his arms. Everyone was clapping and making whooping noises. That’s when the party really started to get down to business. The boys according to Tex had excelled with their play list, every tune was a dance floor banger during the seventies and the place was going wild. A couple of the older gents were more than happy to teach Nathan and Jono how to disco jive, who then ended up dancing together on podiums that had been constructed for go-go dancers that had been bought into entertain the crowd

Marco had personally picked the waiters for their looks not skills, so there were more than a few mishaps throughout the evening, but it was brushed off, probably because of the uniform the guys wore, of white see through hot pants and a white silk bow tie. As the evening wore on, couples that had come together found a third party to join them in more secluded parts of the garden and there were mini orgies happening everywhere. Nathe was oblivious at what was going on around him as he’d found a new love, ‘Disco’, this play list was deffo going on his phone.

Marco was on the terrace with Carlos and Tex, who he had hit it off with magnificently, they were talking about their love for horses while Marco sat surveying his Manor. He’d still got it, and thrown a fantastic party and, managed to pull his own real life stud. Most importantly he was with the people he cared most about in his life, Carlos, young Nathan, Johnathan and now Tex.
Nathan and Jono who was now down to his thong were still podium dancing and were being watched by the waiters who were now joining in with the party. One in particular had his eye on Nathan, and joined him on stage. He started to dance a little bit too close and Nathan did not, like it. He was persistent, but Nathan knew the difference between playful fun and this waiters aggression. The guy spun Nathan around and gripped his hips pretending to fuck him in front of the crowd who were watching and clapping. Nathe was not amused, and tried to get away, so the guy pulled his hair back and put his arm around his neck trying to kiss him. The crowd thought this was all and act and carried on whooping and clapping. Jono could see what was happening and tried to get the guy off, who turned and pushed him off the podium. Nathan screamed out.

Carlos who was talking intensely to Tex, recognised Nathans voice and looked around to see where his boy was, as the scene unfolded in slow motion before him. The guy was trying to pull Nathan’s shorts down in front of the crowd who were still blissfully unaware of what was really going on. Jono was trying to get back on the podium to help his friend and was kicked back off it by the waiter.

Carlos put down his drink and ran like a gazelle across the lawn, and launched himself at the guy who was trying to violate his boy. By this time, Nathan’s shorts were down to his knees and he was exposed for all to see. People started to realise now, this wasn’t some cheap sex act but real life. Some stood silently others screamed out as Carlos dragged him off and threw him from the podium, Jono consoled Nathan who was now back on the stage as Carlos launched himself on top of the guy and started to pummel his face.

By this time there was a sizable crowd, Nathan was crying and begging Carlos to stop. Now Tex and Marco had reached the scene who put his hand on Carlos’s shoulder. “Hey Carlos, he’s had enough you’ve taught the guy a lesson, no more my friend” Carlos’s breathing was laboured, his chest was heaving as the adrenalin rushed through his veins. He held the guy by the neck and squeezed it tightly. “If I ever see your face around here again I swear I’ll fucking kill you"

Marco was crying, his party was ruined, those caterers would certainly have a lot to answer for. He held his arms out to young Nathan and walked him up to the house. Tears streamed down Nathey’s face “I’m sorry Marco I’ve ruined your party it was all my fault, I shouldn’t have encouraged him”.

Marco got angry stopped and held Nathan by the shoulders and looked at him.“Don’t you ever say those fucking words again, don’t ever feel guilty for something you didn’t have any control over, you and I both carry that burden of being told it was our fault, it was us that made them do it. Never, EVER, say that again”.The party was over, and Carlos never did ask Nathan’s hand in marriage that night, but tomorrow was another day.
