Emo Network Review

We last visited Emo Network in June 2021, and we're back to see what’s changed since then and whether the sites still update as before. Emo Network is a gay porn network featuring four emo-themed sites. The performers range from smooth, sexy twinks with an edgy or alternative look to regular guys you might see at the gym, on campus, or around town. The older episodes showcase a mix of British, European, and American boys with slender builds and plenty of uncut cocks from average to large. Expect skaters, punks, rockers, goths, and of course lots of emo boys aged between 18 and 25 — piercings and makeup are not uncommon. However, the emo theme has become increasingly diluted over time, and most of the recent models are regular twinks, jocks, and amateurs with little connection to the emo style. There’s a mix of newcomers, lesser-known performers, and familiar faces like Timo Garrett, Ayden James, and PJ Adams.

While many of the newer scenes here are hardcore duos, you'll also find plenty of solos of guys playing with themselves and rubbing out creamy loads. You can expect plenty of cock sucking, rimming, and ass pounding fucks, although there's not much in the way of kink. Sometimes toys are used to give the scenes a little spice, and many of the sessions end with creamy facials. I'm guessing that most of the guys are gay, and it's obvious that they love cock and having guy-on-guy sex. Some of the latest videos feature classroom sex including a teacher and student or two students riding dick in the classroom.

Emo Network now offers 672 videos in total — with Homo Emo growing from 582 to 633 videos, while Emo Twinks is down to just 1 video, Exposed Emos has 25, and Homo Scene has 13. Most videos are available to download and stream in four sizes: 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD), 360p (SD), and 270p (low SD). However, some of the older episodes are only offered in the lower resolutions and at noticeably poorer quality. The videos run between 5 and 22 minutes, with most toward the longer end of that range. The sites also appear to recycle content, as several recent updates feature older material at lower resolutions that have simply been re-dated.

Each episode comes with a picture set. Some of these pics are good quality digital stills sized at 667x1000; the rest are good amateur quality screencaps sized at 1000x563 that accompany the videos. Each set can be downloaded in a zip file or you can easily save just the individual pictures you want. Also, while there are no slideshows, you can navigate from pic to pic using the arrows that appear on the left and right of each photo when you mouse over it.

Members now get access to 9 bonus sites and collections, down from 11 previously, offering a total of around 1,212 videos. Most of these feature general twink content rather than emo-themed material, with a mix of solo and hardcore scenes similar to what you’ll find on sites like Teach Twinks, Beddable Boys, and EuroTwinkin. A few of the collections include slightly older performers in their 30s, and at least one looks to still be updating occasionally. However, there’s very little truly emo content among the bonus material.

When it comes to updates, only Homo Emo continues to add new content. Since our last visit in June 2021, the site has grown from 582 to 633 videos, meaning just 51 new episodes in a little over four years — roughly one video per month on average. The remaining emo sites no longer update, and even on Homo Emo, many of the supposedly “new” updates appear to be recycled content, with older low-resolution videos simply re-dated. The bonus collections still show some activity, though it’s difficult to gauge regularity, and much of that material also looks reused or repackaged from other sources.

There are some downsides to be aware of. There are two pre-checked offers on the right side of the billing page, but they're easy to uncheck if you're not interested. Trial members get limited access; they can only watch one to two videos during their trial period. When joining this network, you are automatically added to the email list with no way to opt out until later. As mentioned, only one of the emo sites currently updates. The bottoms of the pages have two rows of thumbs that are actually ads for a live cam site. The tour says "New Emos Added Daily" and "Hundreds of Hot Emo Boys Submit Their Personal Videos Every Week," but neither of these claims are accurate; the emo sites do not update daily and most of the guys are regular porn performers.

But my biggest complaint is that almost none of the recent models are emo, alt, or goth. If you look on the tour where it says "Latest Update from our Emo Network," all the performers are regular twinks and a couple jocks. Not only that, but some updates are taken from another site called Lollipop Twinks, so you won't find many of the tattooed, made-up and sexy guys with shaggy hair and long bangs that are emo guys found in the latest updates. They're mostly found in the older content; in fact, of the recent updates are tagged emo, all are from one of the bonus sites.

Emo Network still stands out for its unique emo concept, which remains something you don’t see often in gay porn. However, while that theme made the network distinctive in the past, there’s now virtually nothing new that sticks to it. Homo Emo continues to update, but the newer scenes feature regular twinks and jocks rather than true emo or alt lads, and many of the “new” videos are simply recycled content. It’s a shame, because the original material with pale, slender, pierced, and tattooed boys had a clear identity that set it apart. For anyone drawn to that authentic emo style, the older videos are still worth exploring — but those hoping for fresh, on-theme updates will be disappointed.
