Seth’s Perspective

How the hell would we ever beat our first day at the Magic Kingdom? Two little girls were transformed into princesses, three little boys became pirates, a chosen family of eleven marshalled the afternoon parade. Millions of smiles, nonstop laughter… we wouldn’t beat that day. And that was okay. Our family had given our kids an amazing welcome that would stay with all of us forever, if not in their very young memories, then in videos and pictures. We broke our budget big time, but as Zach said, “fuck the budget. Invest in every fucking smile you can get.” That night I tucked Izzy in and told her I loved her and she started in with her usual diatribe of… “and momma wuv me, and gwamma wuv me…” but this time she had additions, “… and Unko Mac wuv me, and Unko bwody wuv me, and Aunt Gina wuv me, and Unko Dywin wuv me, and Wella wuv me, and Goofy wuv me…” EVEN GOOFY made the list! The feud was apparently over and all had been forgiven.

For the next couple of days, we park-hopped… EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom. All of them, but we ended up back at The Magic Kingdom with Izzy and Maggie riding the damn It’s A Small World ride a million times, and Freddy and Theodore permanently glued to The Pirates of The Caribbean. We had to make a trip back to Princess Fairytale Hall, to see “Wella” twice before we left. We did our best to see everything we could, but the kids didn’t give a shit, they found their bliss and didn’t need to see anything more. It was a magical vacation. The ride home, however, was a little less magical. We loaded the kids into the BroMax Family Truckster in the middle of the night again and hit the road. We were halfway home before they woke up… and this time when we stopped for breakfast at The Waffle House the kids were NOT happy.

“Go see Wella” Izzy said with pleading eyes and a pout on her lips that I hadn’t seen in days.

“No Izz, we’re on our way home now” Zach said.

“No.” She insisted with a pout turning from a beautiful, sweet, adorable little princess to a little brat. Yup, our happy, magical vacation was over.

“Can’t we go on just one more ride?” Freddy pleaded with those big, brown, puppy dog eye.

“Yeah, just one more ride, puleeeeaaaasssssse?” Theo begged taking up Freddy’s cause, those two stuck together.

“Guys, we’re almost halfway home, the rides are way too far away to go back” Max answered. The kids were pouting and whining when Brody jumped in.

“But we had so much dang fun, right guys?” He said with an excitement in his voice that they couldn’t really ignore.

“What was your favorite part?” I asked. “My favorite part was seeing you guys turned into pirates and Maggie and Izzy become Princesses” I offered to get the ball rolling.

Brody jumped in with, “My favorite part was seein’ Daddy Sach all prettied up like a princess.”

Izzy giggled, “Yeah, Daddy Sach pwetty.” I gotta say that I loved that they started calling us Daddy Sach and Daddy Zeff on this trip (thanks to our friends incessantly mocking us).

Theo blurted, “I liked riding in a pirate ship.”

Freddy added, “Theo, remember when the car turned into a boat? That was so cool.” The kids voices were excited again and they were so animated as they talked over each other sharing their memories throughout breakfast. Brody had turned the mood around completely. We finished eating, piled into the minivan, and hit the road again. We put on Pirates of The Caribbean and the three kids were mesmerized as they watched… Izzy eventually dozed off and the boys took in every glorious second of the movie they had just lived. They were all good for the remainder of our trip home, Max was driving and I was in the passenger seat when we pulled into the gravel driveway of home. Disney was so much flipping fun, but I was glad to be home. Eli’s Bronco was parked alongside the GTI, the pickup, and the Atlas, Max pulled in behind it. Petunia came running out when she heard the minivan pull up and Zach jumped out to greet her while me, Brody, and Max got Izzy and Freddy out of their seats. Within seconds the two kids, Zach, and Petunia were all on the ground wrestling… Petunia was going insane with joy! She had obviously missed us.

Next, Riley and Eli came out of the house to greet us, the kids saw someone new to tell their stories to and were all over the couple. I couldn’t stop smiling from seeing them all so happy. Izzy was telling Riley all about being transformed into a beautiful princess when she demanded, “Zeff, pikcho” (Izzy to English translation: Seth, could you please show Riley the pictures of me when I was a beautiful princess).

“What’s the magic word?” I asked.

“Pweeze” Izzy answered somewhat bothered that I dare demand manners when she’s telling a story. Ugh, they were going to be unbearable for a couple of days until they came off their Disney high. Luckily, we had both taken Friday off so we had a three day weekend to get our bearings again.

“How was the trip?” Eli asked and we gave him the highlights. “Hey, why don’t I run to the store and stock up, we can put burgers on the grill for everyone and you can tell us all about it.”

“Thanks for the invite, but we ready to get the hell home” Max said. Theo had been sitting patiently in his seat waiting since we pulled into the driveway, but it was clear he was ready to go home too.

“Yep, me too” Brody agreed. We all hugged goodbye and thanked everyone for a great time. “Pizza night at your place tomorrow night?” Brody asked. We all agreed before he added,

“We’re in, I’ll text everyone.” I replied.

“And email me all your pictures and videos before you go to bed, I’m gonna put ‘em all together tomorrow and make a movie.” Brody requested.

That sounds awesome! This trip was a great idea, Brody” I said as I hugged him… he used to hate hugs but he had learned how to tolerate them from our group. “I feel like we bonded so much with all the kids” he agreed and so did the others

Eli went to pick up some Chinese takeout and then he and Riley hung out and listened to princess and pirate tales. After we ate and Eli and Riley had gone home, Freddy asked, “Can we go visit momma?”

“Yeah, go see momma” Izzy repeated with side-eyed excitement. We had regular visits set with Karen once a month and in all the time the kids had been with us, they never asked to go see her but they were so excited about their trip and wanted to tell her all about it. I looked at Zach, I wasn’t sure what to do. Our visitations were set up, I didn’t know if we could just call or what… Ms. Elkin had handled visitation for us before, but now that we were no longer foster parents, we supervised their visits instead of her.

“We have to get permission; I can call the police on the morning to see if we can go visit” Zach said. The kids were happy with that answer. The way they understood the situation was that because momma was bad, she lived with the police, and they lived with us, that was about the extent of it (we never said jail). After that conversation we tucked the kids in.

I had Izzy tucked in under the covers and told her a story (about princess Izzy… those were her favorites), then kissed her goodnight, and said I love you. Of course, she responded with… “and momma wuv me, and gwamma wuv me, and Aunt Wiley, wuv me, and Unko Ewi Wuv me, and Unko Mac wuv me, and Unko bwody wuv me, and Aunt Gina wuv me, and Unko Dywin wuv me, and Wella wuv me, and Goofy wuv me…” There was something heartwarming about that little girl who had such a rough start still feeling so loved and reciting a list of those who loved her (and constantly adding to it). I hoped she never stopped doing it. Meanwhile, Zach had put Freddy down and apparently his last words of the night were ‘please, please, please ask the police if we can visit momma.’

Zach took my phone and sent Brody all my pics and videos from the rips, he sent his too. Then, for the VERY FIRST TIME he posted a pic of us and the kids on social media. There were rules against posting pics of foster kids, but now that they were ours, we could introduce them to the world. Our social media was instantly flooded with likes, hearts, and comments of congratulations. It felt good… like we officially announced to the universe we were a family.

It was still early when we got into our own bed for the first time in almost a week. It felt so good to be home. “Do you know how to set up a visitation with Karen?” I asked Zach.

“Yeah, we’ve all been approved already so I just need to call to set it up. She only gets one personal visit a week, so if she hasn’t had any other visitors this week, we should be good. I’ll call in the morning.” He responded. Then he kissed me goodnight and we lay there facing each other. “It was such a fun trip” he whispered.

“I know. Right?” I responded. “I love showing them new things and watching them get excited.”

Zach smiled at me, “What about me? You got anything new to show me?” He asked with a smirk.

“Well, I wouldn’t call it new… but” I said as I reached down and moved his hand to the bulge in my boxers, then stroked him through his. He kissed me as we rubbed each other, it was tender and sweet until his tongue snaked its way down my throat. That’s what I loved about Zach, he could be so sweet and so dirty at the same time. Our tender kisses went raunchy and our soft cocks went hard as he pushed his against mine… hard. Shit, we were grinding like there was no tomorrow while we groaned and panted into each other’s warm, wanting mouths.

Zach pushed me onto my back and rolled on top of me continuing our hard grinding. It felt so good just to be so close and intimate with him… ALONE after sharing a room with the kids for several nights. Zach and I both tugged at each other’s boxers to get rid of the thin layer of fabric that separated our flesh. The heat that our cocks emanated once they were free of their thin fabric confines was seething and motivated me to push my hips up harder against him… I was ready for all the heat he had to give. I reached into the nightstand and grabbed the bottle of lube and squirted some of the cool liquid into my hand. Grabbing both of our cocks I lubed us up turning our grinding into sliding, I’d call it dry-humping, but the lube made it wet and slick. His heat missile glided over mine and awakened everr last frigging nerve ending in me. “Damn, that feels so good” I moaned into his mouth as we made out like teenagers.

“Hell, yes it does” Zach agreed as he shifted his body down and few inches and proceeded to rub his hardness up and down my ass crack until he had it lined perfectly with my tight, pink, pucker. He pulled away from our kiss and locked his sparkling hazel orbs with mine as he pushed in slowly, breaching my sphincter and stopping. He held his cockhead inside me while he gazed into my eyes before he slowly and purposefully pushed forward. It was a slow, gentle invasion. I pulled my knees to my chest and let him have me… all of me, and what I wanted in return was him… all of him. With our eyes still locked, he slowly pushed in further and deeper. I felt the girth and the heat of the tool that the universe custom designed to fill me. I pushed out then contracted around him pulling a moan from deep inside him. His eyes closed and his head fell back just as my eyes rolled into the back of my head. I felt his bulbous cockhead hit bottom. He rested there letting me enjoy the euphoric daze he was injecting into my entire body. It was an indescribable high… Zach’s cock was my drug of choice and that night I opted to inject instead of smoke. He slowly pulled out of me, then pushed his way back in slowly with both of us savoring every inch and second of our slow love making. In and out he pushed and pulled slowly, deliberately, wanting to give us both maximum pleasure… it worked! Oh my god, I just lay there taking it all, LOVING it all.  I quietly whispered, “Go faster. I want you to cum inside me.”

Zach just grinned and picked his pace up a little bit.  After a minute or so he picked it up a little more. Another minute or so went by and he picked it up even more and pushed even harder. He was making love to me, passionate love. It wasn’t just animal sex (although... um… DAMN), it was so much more. It was clear that neither one of us wanted to be anywhere else in the universe other than in that bed with each other at that moment. He kept thrusting in and out of me faster and harder giving me pleasure beyond words or description until finally, “I’m cumming” he whispered in frantic euphoria.

“Yeah, give me all you got Daddy Sach” I whispered getting a chuckle from him in the middle of our passioned frenzy, but that didn’t stop him. He pummeled in and out of me until he shot his essence deep within. My body absorbed it and he became part of me… yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that sounds corny as fuck, but that’s the way I thought of it.  After he was spent, he pulled back, sat on his knees, and took my purple cock in his mouth, seven or eight bobs of his head and strokes of his hand is all it took before Mount Vesuvius erupted sending my hot lava down his waiting gullet. We shared our traditional post-BJ kiss, pulled our boxers back up and I fell asleep in his arms.

We had forgotten to set the alarm and at about 6AM both kids were pounding on the locked door yelling our names. “I’m hungwy” Izzy shouted.

“Daddy Sach, did you call the police to see if we can visit momma?!” Freddy yelled. Romantic alone time was officially over. Zach threw on his T-shirt, opened the door and unleashed the tiny beasts into our bedroom. The two kids and Petunia ran into the room, jumped on the bed dogpiling on top of me. Petunia bathed every inch of my face with her enormous tongue while the two kids giggled as they jumped on me and tried to tickle me.

“Okay, okay, I’m up” I said as I rolled over and pinned Freddy to the bed tickling him until he almost peed. When I let him loose, he ran out of the room and downstairs to the kitchen with Izzy running behind him giggling loud and hardy, I loved every second of it!!!!! Zach and I followed them down and started scrounging for breakfast, I hadn’t done my grocery shopping yet and all I could find was oatmeal, so I served it up. Of course, both complained, Izzy begged for Micky Mouse pancakes, “Sorry kid. We got oatmeal today. That’s it” I said while as I went through the cabinets making my grocery list.

“Did you call the police yet?” Freddy asked Zach.

“It’s too early. I promise I’ll call this morning and ask.” Zach said as he plopped a spoonful of oatmeal in Freddy’s bowl.

Freddy looked up at my husband with the sincerest, most trusting brown eyes that ever existed and asked, “promise?” Then he added with a grin, playing every card he had, “Daddy Sach” then he batted his eyes dramatically and giggled… he knew how to work us.

Zach laughed then answered, “I promise.” Freddy was cracking us up, as he played us like a fiddle. “I’m gonna work from home today, and I promise I will call the police when the office opens.” Freddy nodded in acceptance of the answer. We finished breakfast as a family, then we cleaned up the dishes and got the kids ready. After that, Zach helped me load them into the Atlas before going back into the house to hunker down answering emails and catching up on work… and of course calling to see if we could visit Karen.

The kids and I took off to run some errands. First stop the office so I could check on everything. The kids ran into the office and started telling BA every detail of their trip. While they were busy making “grandma B” laugh, I went into Rodney’s office and he caught me up on work stuff. All seemed well, the only odd thing was Taylor. Daddy James had been trying to reach him but he didn’t return his calls, so he called the car dealership and found out he had taken a few days off work and set off on a road trip. Rodney called around and found out that he told Maverick and RayRay that he had some personal business to take care of, but didn’t tell them where he was going. I was more curious than I was worried. Taylor was a smart guy, a survivor… I just hoped nothing big was up. Before we left The Village, I went into my office and called him, I just got his voicemail so I let him know I was there to listen if he needed me, 24/7. He texted back a few minutes later and said, ‘I’m good, just needed to handle some personal stuff. Will call if I need you. I hope Disney was fun,’ That put my mind at ease.

After the office it was off to the grocery store, the three of us shopping was always an adventure. I was on a mission to get the shopping done and they were both on a mission to distract me. We were about halfway through when we got to the cereal aisle where a police officer in full uniform was searching for something on the shelves… he did NOT go unnoticed by my kids. Izzy instantly yelled, “Hey Guy!”

The officer looked over and gave them a smile, then Freddy went running up to him, “Hey can we come visit our momma?!” He almost screamed at the poor confused, unsuspecting officer.

“No buddy, this police officer doesn’t know momma’s schedule” I said empathetically. “You guys go pick our cereal, okay?” The kids took off and I did my damnedest to explain our unique situation to the officer without sounding crazy. He was a nice guy, and empathized with the kids. While we were talking, Zach texted me to say we could go see Karen on Saturday morning. I had a thought and laughed to myself then asked the officer, “Hey you wanna have some fun?” Then I told him my plan, he laughed and called the kids over.

“Hey, I called my buddy and he wants to know if you want to go visit your momma at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning?” The officer asked Freddy who looked at me.

“Can we? Please?” He asked with those damn eyes.

“Of course!” I answered.

Then he gave the officer a huge thank you, and told Izzy the plan, “he says we can see Momma tomorrow!” he said with great excitement. She grabbed the big, hulking officer around the knees, hugged him and looked up at him and thanked him. The big man melted. He ended up following us through the store for the rest of our shopping trip, checked out with us, and even helped me load up the Atlas. I loaded the kids in the car and thanked the officer.

“Thank you for making my day” he said sweetly. “Listen, I hope it wasn’t too weird that I hung out with you and your kids, but I recently got divorced and my ex took our two kids and moved to Raleigh so I don’t see them as much. Your kids just… just made my day. I really needed that.” We thanked each other and said goodbye, I felt for the guy… sometimes I forgot how much a little kindness can mean to someone. It was a strange interaction, but it meant a lot to him, and clearly it meant a lot to Izzy and Freddy. I turned on the music and we drove home.

When we got home, Zach came out to help me unload and the kids excitedly tole him about the officer letting them go see their momma. He looked at me with that I face and I told him the story about the policeman making him laugh out loud at the innocence of our kids. “So, which one of us is taking the kids to see Karen tomorrow?” he asked.

“I just figured we’d both go” I responded.

“Well, she can only have three visitors at a time for a personal visit, so only one of us can accompany the kids” He said.

“Well, why don’t we all go together, I’ll go into the room with the kids, and you can wait outside the room” I suggested.

“That sounds good” Zach said. We talked more about it as we put away the groceries and formulated our plan for the visit. After the groceries were put away, we just spent the rest of the afternoon playing with the kids and enjoying being home.

It was almost time for Pizza Night and we were in the kitchen setting everything up before our friends arrived when Eli texted both of us ‘Mom and Dad Hall are here. They came to surprise the kids’ then followed it up with, ‘You did NOT hear it from me. They’ll be at Pizza Night.’

“so, much for our quiet, ease back into normal life weekend” Zach said.

“Ugh” I responded. I LOVED my in-laws, but I needed a vacation from our vacation. I figured we’d take the kids to see Karen on Saturday, then we could just kick back and detox from Disney, but apparently we’d be entertaining the Hall’s.

The BroMax gang pulled in the drive right ahead of the Dylan James clan. It took all of fifteen seconds before the house and yard were alive with five kids, four dogs, and six adults. As soon as everyone vacated their vehicles, Eli’s Bronco came up the driveway crunching gravel under its tires. The vehicle stopped, Aunt Riley and Uncle Eli got out of the front, then the backdoors opened and out came Granma Kelly and Grandpa Nathan.  Izzy Screamed “GWAMMA!” and ran to my mother in-law. Freddy ran to my father in-law and told him all about our family A-cation and being a pirate. The kids monopolized them, Zach and I didn’t even get a hello… they were there to see their grandchildren… we were crap now, the kids were king.

I ordered the pizzas as everyone moved out to the patio. About 45 minutes later Ella showed up with dinner. After the pizzas were devoured by our ravenous crew, Brody herded us all into the living room. He took all our pictures and videos and edited them into a sweet, funny, emotional memory. It was about ten minutes long, and contained pictures of the kids smiling with the different characters, group photos, etc., interspersed with the videos we all took. Our car playlist provided the soundtrack. Izzy’s lecture was one of the high points as was her and Maggie’s encounter with Wella, the boys swashbuckling down Main Street, and of course the parade. We all watched and relived our amazing trip, Kelly and Nathan thrilled to be there for the debut and the kids were happy to have a new audience to tell their stories to.

What an awesome family we had built. God, those kids were so loved.
