A New Alpha?

These nights seemed to go on forever. By now the beast had stopped struggling and was just spitting obscenities at me through his gag. I had to remain attentive, but I had been through many nights like this before. Before long he would grow quiet and focus all his will on the men outside the door, driving them to a mad orgy of mindless fucking. Then he would have to satisfy himself with the faint wisps of sexual energy that managed to penetrate the door. I knew his responses well by now, too well. It was easy for me to become complacent and thus vulnerable to his influence. At first it was easy to stay alert. For almost a year after I became his keeper, I spent these evenings torturing him. I couldn’t forgive him. I wanted to hurt him, like he had hurt Twinkle-Toes, like he had hurt me. Those were the nights when he learned the strength of my will. I made him suffer for what he did, and when I learned that his transformation healed all wounds and removed all marks, I was ruthless. There were nights when I had him begging for me to stop. But I didn’t. I tore him to shreds, then watched as his body reassembled itself into the rather ordinary man he was for the rest of the month. I finally did have to stop, though. Not because I had forgiven him, but because the violence was keeping me stuck in my anger. I couldn’t heal myself while I continued to do this to him. Forgiveness would come later, as I grew to understand his elemental nature. These days our monthly dates with the chains were more altruistic, mostly about protecting the community from the beast, and about helping Stephan find his own kind of redemption.

The biker walked slowly and confidently toward the alpha. His appearance created a stir among the harem, causing many of them to turn away from Twinkle-Toes to watch. From my vantage point I saw those who were servicing the alpha scatter, making room for the coming conflict. He did not seem concerned by the challenger, remaining seated on the pile of pallets where he had been sitting while he was being sucked off. It wasn’t until the biker lunged at him that the bear bothered to move.

The harem excitedly encircled them, obscuring my view, but I hadn’t really been watching them anyway. All I could see was the motionless body of Twinkle-Toes, lying on the ground beside the trash can where he had been abandoned when the fight broke out. I sat motionless and numb, allowing my eyes to become unfocused. But a small movement snapped me back to awareness.

In the shadow of the loading dock I saw an area of darker shadow begin to draw closer to the trash can. Two men were stealthily moving towards Twinkle-Toes. With lightning speed, they darted out, picked him up, and carried him out of sight. I was so shocked by this that I couldn’t react. Within a minute I heard the faint sound of a car starting and speeding off.

Was he being kidnapped on top of everything else? I couldn’t bear it and once again, tears began to flow down my cheeks. But they didn’t last long. The car door beside me quietly opened and suddenly Sniff was working to cut my bonds. “It’s ok, we’ve got you.” A couple of the other guys from the retreat center were with him. They quickly got me out of the car, but when I tried to stand, I found the hours of immobility and the tightness of the ropes had robbed me of any strength. My legs were rubber and my arms and hands were numb. They quickly carried me to a waiting car.

“Starlight and a few others have Twinkle-Toes. They’re taking him to the hospital to make sure the drug the biker gave him won’t do any permanent damage.” Sniff tried to assure me as we drove off. “How are you? You look awful. Do you want to go too?” he began to motion to the driver, but I stopped him.

“No. I think he only used ether on me, and I’ve been awake for hours now.” My mouth felt awkward after being gaged for so long, and it was hard to speak, but it was good to stretch those muscles and feel the life returning to my face.

My arms and legs took longer, but by the time we reached the retreat center I was able to stand. A couple of the guys helped me to walk around the grounds for a few minutes until I my legs began to strengthen, and I could walk on my own.

By now Sniff had received a call from the guys at the hospital. The effects of the drug were beginning to wear off, but the doctors wanted to keep him for a few hours for observation. They expected to be back at the retreat center by mid-morning. Sniff thought this would cheer me up, but it didn’t, not after what I had witnessed.

“It won’t be him. He’s gone.” I couldn’t bear to think about it, but I could think of nothing else. “I saw the light go out of his eyes, as if I watched him die.” I thought I had used up all my tears, but I found I hadn’t, as they began, once again, to stream down my face.

“I think he’s in shock,” he said to the men who had helped rescue me. “Get him to bed and stay with him tonight. I don’t think he should be alone.”

“We’ll take him to my cabin,” one of them said. I didn’t care where I went, so I allowed them to lead me off into the woods.

The cabin was dark when we arrived, and one of them went ahead to light an oil lamp. “No electricity, I’m afraid, just a bed.” That was fine with me. They proceeded to undress me, and in the dim light I saw that the rough wooded walls were almost completely covered with various tapestries, posters, and drawings. Sniff’s instincts were once again correct, because before they finished tucking me into the sheets I was out.

It wasn’t until the bright morning light woke me up that I realized that they had each climbed onto the bed on either side of me, to hold the sheets over me. I was not tightly confined, but it would have been impossible for me to stir without waking up at least one of them.

One of them was still asleep, but the other was sitting up, reading. When I rolled over and tried to open my eyes, he looked down, and smiling, said, “’Morning sunshine. How did you sleep?” It was Peter, the guy I had jerked off with at the sun circle. I honestly couldn’t remember much of the previous night after being freed. All I knew was that I had a splitting headache and a very dry mouth. I felt like I had a hangover, except I knew I had not been drinking the night before. I did my best to sit up and failed miserably, managing only a grunt and a moan. Peter chuckled, reaching over me to pound his friend’s shoulder with his book. “Time to get up.”

Breakfast was over, but they had set aside some food for us. While Peter tucked in, his friend went to get Sniff. I couldn’t bring myself to eat, but when Sniff arrived, he insisted. “You need to recover your strength.” I thought it would make me sick, but after a few bites a little of my appetite returned and I did indeed begin to feel better. “Are you feeling able to hear the latest?”

Did he have news of Twinkle-Toes? “Yes!” I insisted. “How is he?”

“The drug has worn off and they have released him from the hospital. He seems to be in good health, and they’re on their way. We’ll know more when they arrive.” He saw the relief on my face but knew I was still traumatized. “Dee-Dee is in my office; do you feel up to meeting with her? She has more news, and I know she would be encouraged to see you right now.”

I agreed and we headed down to his office. Judith was sitting beside her, holding her hand, as Dee-Dee was silently looking at the floor. “Look who I found!” Sniff announced as I entered the room.

When Dee-Dee saw me, she jumped to her feet and wrapped me in an overwhelming embrace. “Thank God!” Immediately she caught herself, releasing me and straightening her clothes. “I mean…You’re ok?”

Her outburst made me realize that I was not the only one effected by the events of last night. “Apart from this headache, yes.”

Sniff got straight to business. “Once you were taken, Dee-Dee sent her guards out to keep an eye on all the regular haunts where the harem tended to meet. She called me and told me to be ready to step in when they found you. When one of them saw you arrive in the same car that had been used to carry you away, they called us in. You know the rest.” Then pausing, he added, “It was because of Dee-Dee that we were able to find you.” I could tell that he said this last bit for her benefit, not mine.

“But it’s my fault they got them in the first place. We should have kept a closer watch. We should have…”

Sniff interrupted her. “We’ve been over this. You did everything you could. How could we know the biker would hire straight thugs to kidnap the boys?” He held her gaze and assured her, “It’s not your fault.” Then turning to me, “You might also be interested to know that the biker failed in his bid to become the new alpha.”

“What does that matter?” I didn’t really care who the alpha was, but I was glad to hear that the bastard that had kidnapped me had lost.

“It matters,” Sniff continued, “Because that level of power in the hands of such a twisted mind would be disastrous.” Sniff encouraged Dee-Dee to tell me what she had seen.

“Not much,” She began. “Despite all those muscles, the biker was no match for the beast. Once the girls told me where you were, I got there as quick as I could, Sniff had just arrived, and they were driving Twinkle-Toes off. He told me to watch and report on the conflict, then went off to get you. The fight only lasted for about five minutes before the beast pinned him down and shoved his huge cock in him. It only took a few seconds before the biker began shrinking to his normal size. After that none of the harem would go near him. I watched him begging the others to fuck him and they just ignored him as if he didn’t even exist. Pathetic really.”

Just then Peter burst in without knocking. “They’re back!”
