. . .Jake then falls asleep.
Jake then wakes up the next morning to the sun rising through the semi-open blinds. He then see that Rob is not in the bed with him and that all of his belongings are gone as well.
Jake then goes back to his own room and dresses up for the next big challenge of the day by putting on the suit that he first wore to the job interview in the Big City.
Once dressed Jake goes downstairs to the kitchen to hear Bobby Joe and Joey Bob are inside of it with Joey Bob saying, “’Uncail Marcas’ owes me big for breaking my computer and Bobby Joe replying to his twin brother, “well baby bro, I told you not to turn on the security cameras in the bedrooms but you did so anyways and now “’Uncail’ is really pissed off at what he saw.”
Jake then stands by the side of the doorway into it and eavesdrop some more of the Scottish twins conversation with Joey Bob saying, “it was out of security for Jake and all of us considering that Jake shot that guy’s knee cap off.”
Jake then hears Bobby Joe say to his twin brother, “so did watching Jake fuck and get blown by that scrawny guy turn you on? . . . Maybe it’s because your dead ‘Mick’ lover chose him over you?”
Jake then hears Joey Bob tell his slightly older twin brother something vulgar in Scottish Gaelic before entering it.
Once he enters it Jake asks, “is there any coffee? I could use a cup.”
Joey Bob then rises up from his seat and says “sure Jake. I’ll get you some.”
Jake then takes a seat and asks Bobby Joe where his father and Rob are at. Bobby Joe replies, “your ‘Da’ took that skinny old man to the airport before dawn. He will meet up with us at the police station in a couple of hours. He said that he and his ‘friend’ have some business to talk about.”
Jake replies, “I see” as Joey Bob places a full mug of hot coffee in front of him and he takes a sip of it.
Jey Bob then asks Jake if he wants something to eat. He just replies that the coffee will do as well as bumming a smoke with it.
Bobby Joe then takes out a cigarette from the pack that is beside him, lights it up, and passes it to Jake but making sure to lightly caress his fingers as he does so. Jake picks up on Bobby Joe’s subtle move and just a deep inhale of the cigarette and then takes another sip of his coffee.
Bobby Joe then says to Jake, “I didn’t take you as the faggot type Jake but after the story you told us back at Vaclav’s place, well it got me pretty hard.”
Joey Bob them shouts out at his older twin brother, “Jesus Christ Bobby, Jake is a family friend and all.”
Bobby Joe then continues on by saying, “are you a faggot Jake, ‘cause from what I heard you did fuck a lot of guys back at that place and in the city as well as . . .”
Jake coldly replies back to Bobby Joe, “as well as what Bobby Joe?”
Bobby Joe counters with, “that a few years back you spent your summer break with Toby a lot in that you wish not hang out with me or my ‘bràthair’”.
Jake then takes another deep drag of the cigarette, ashes it, and then takes another sip of the cooling coffee in his mug. He replies back, “Toby and I were teammate in high school, you know that Bobby Joe, so we hung out a lot during the summer break, so what.”
Bobby Joe then replies, “you know that your best friend was ‘Gèidh’, right? One night even . . .”
Joey Bob then shouts at his twin brother, “Will you fucking stop Bobby Joe, Jake doesn’t need to know about that.”
Jake then speaks up and says, “Toby was my good friend and yes, we were lovers. I knew he was queer from high school but didn’t confront him about it because that was his business.”
“It was during that summer break from college is when our relationship started to becoming more intense and we fell in love with one another but he had a crush on me since our junior year of high school.”
Jake then gets silent for a moment and then asks for another cup of coffee and a cigarette for which he quickly receives and which he just sips on and smoke in total silence for a minute before staring into Bobby Joe’s eyes and coldly says, “Joey Bob over there also had the hots for Toby because he wrote about him and you in his journal so I knew that he blew of your cocks while Joey Bob gave him head as well.”
Jake then takes another sip of his coffee and adds in, ”but he was saving his big prize for me by being the first to pop his man cherry. Does that piss you off Bobby Joe that I had Toby before you?”
Bobby Joe then puts out his cigarette, nervously laughs for a moment in that Jake’s remarks did hit a nerve with him in that he also had a crush on Toby as well. He then says, “you were the one he loved Jake. You must know that.”
Jake responds back, “I know he did and it all it and by knowing him me has caused me nothing but grief. I so want to put that behind me as soon as possible so I can move on with my life, so how about we get the fuck out of here, go to the police station where I can give my statement on why shot the Czech motherfucker’s kneecap off?”
All three of them ride in silence for the twenty minute drive to the local police station. Once the three of them arrive there, Joey Bob says, “are you ready Jake?”
Jake replies, “I am. It’s time to put this shit to an end.”
The three of them then enter the police station that serves the very quiet town that Vaclav’s massive mansion is in and approach the station’s front desk where Jake sees a rather frumpy looking desk sergeant and says, “I wish to report a crime.”
The desk sergeant replies, “and what crime would that be sir?”
Jake replies, “I discharged a firearm within city limits and shot someone in the knee out of self-defense. I was at the mansion that had the big gay orgy last light, and by the way, here is the gun” as he motions to Joey Bob.
Joey Bob then pulls out two Ziplock bags from his backpack, one with the Walther pistol and clip as well the shirt that Jake wore last night that has the gun shot residue and Vaclav’s blood on it and lays it on the counter.
The Desk Sergeant doesn’t know what to make of this situation so she says, “I need to make a call.”
Jake says, “yeah you better. I am not saying anything else until my Dad and my lawyer arrive.”
The desk sergeant then replies, “Have a seat gentleman, someone will be with you shortly.”
After waiting for almost an hour in the lobby Jake is escorted to an interview room. Once seated in there for a few minutes, an officer arrives and sits down at the table across from Jake and introduces himself as Detective More to him.
Jake nods his head and replies, “good to meet you Detective More.”
Detective Moore then asks Jake, “may I ask your name son? You did not leave one with the Desk Sergent.”
Jake replies, “yeah, I didn’t and I won’t. Not until my dad and legal counsel arrive. They should be here shortly.”
Detective More then responds, “refusing to give an officer of the law your name is a misdemeanor crime here.”
Jake replies back, “I’m not refusing to give it Detective More but I just want my lawyer and Dad here as well so I can tell my side of the story so until then do what you have to do but I am not saying another fucking word.”
Detective More then rises up from the interview table and says to Jake, “this could go the easy way or the hard way son and to me it looks like you chose the hard way.”
Jake replies, “you have no fucking idea Detective More because I just went through a massive shit load of hard way.”
Detective More then rises from his seat and exits the interview room. Once out of it he begins to shout out orders.
Soon afterwards Jake is taken to be photographed and fingerprinted and he is smiling and totally cooperating while he is being processed by the station’s officers.
Detective More picks up on Jake’s facial expressions and totally willingness to cooperate and asks him, “so why don’t you give us your name because you are about to be arrested for not providing us with your name.”
Jake then says, “so arrest me then Detective More or is it ‘More Dick’ as he smiles and adds, “I will give you my statement once my Dad and lawyer arrive.”
Detective More gets a bit pissed off by Jake’s last comment and then says to the booking officer, “book him in. Take his phone, wallet, belt, shoes and anything else that he can harm himself with as well as run his face and prints and also do a full body cavity search while at it just to make sure that he is not bringing in any contraband!!
“I want this ‘John Doe’s’ name in an hour as for him put him in with the drunk tank instead. Maybe he will be more willing to talk after a few hours with them!”
After being booked into the jail, undergoing a full body cavity search and sharing the holding cell with the Saturday night drunks that were pulled over for DWIs, Jake just lays on his cot in the holding cell patiently. He knows that his Dad and his lawyer will be there soon so it was time to get story straight as much as possible.
His asshole is a bit sore from the full body cavity search that “More Dick" ordered for him in that he has hasn’t has a finger up it since his latest “prostate exam” by his family’s physician a few weeks ago to check for signs of prostate cancer or so he claimed.
After being in the holding cell for an hour or so the door of it opens up. The booking officer enters it and says, “’John Doe' your Dad and lawyer are here. Come with me please.”
Jake is then escorted to an interview room. In there he sees his Dad, and immediately hugs him. Jake says, “fuck Dad, get me out of here. I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Jake’s family lawyer Saul then replies, “were trying to Jake. That’s why I’m here. You did a good job by emailing me the contract that Vaclav wanted you to sign. because what Katherine O’Malley left you would all be gone: Twenty million is a lot to give up.”
Jake is totally shocked by what Saul just told him and says, “twenty million Saul are you shitting me?”
Saul replies, “it’s the truth Jake.”
Jake then looks at his Mark and says, “is this true Dad? I’m worth twenty million buck?”
Mark replies, “yeah Jake you are. Katherine O’Malley knew how to invest well. In a way it’s her way of thanking you for saving Toby’s life.”
All Jake say is “fuck. That Vaclav prick told me that it was worth five million. That’s what he was offering me to sell to him before his IPO tomorrow. He told me that they may be worth maybe ten million after it.”
Saul then changes the subject by asking Jake what he has told the police. Jake responds by saying that he hasn't told them anything, not even his name and that he surrendered the gun that he stole from Vaclav’s place just as instructed. He also added that the cop that questioned him at first must have a massive stick up his ass in that he ordered Jake to go through a full body cavity search and that his ass was still sore.
At that time the police interrogation room door opens and Detective More enters it and has a seat at the table.
Jake says to his Dad and Saul, “that is the ‘Dick’ that wanted my ass examined. Did watching me getting a deep rectal exam get you off Detective More?”
Mark then verbally reprimands Jake before tearing into Detective More by shouting, “what is the meaning of this!!? My son surrendered voluntarily to you as well as the firearm in question and you ordered a full body cavity search on him? Does he look like a drug smuggler!!?”
Saul chimes in by saying, “my client has a good case to bring charges against this police department and you Detective More.”
Detective More gets a bit flustered and stammers a bit before saying “I do apologize for the inconvenience Mr. Smith, as well as the very unnecessary full body exam of your private areas Jake and Mr. Smith.” He then takes a brief pause and adds, “all local charges against you Jake have been dropped. The way we see it you acted totally in self-defense”.
Jake then asks Detective More, “then I’m free to go?”
Detective More then says, “not quite yet, there are a few more men that want to talk to you Mr. Smith, preferably alone without your father and lawyer. What you got yourself into is way above my pay grade and once again on behalf of this police department and myself, I do apologize for how you were treated.”
Jake has a confused look on his face as he sees ‘More Dick' rise up and leave the room. Once he exits it, three more men in dark suits enter it.
Jake immediately recognizes the three of them as they enter the room with “Dirk" entering first, he is soon followed by the “Frog" from Vaclav's man orgy last night, then bringing up the rear is Chief Inspector Juan Enrique Montoya de la Cruz.
Jake sees the three of then and shouts out, “what the fuck is going on here ‘Hank’ and why is ‘Dirk’ and that ‘Frog’ homo manwhore here as well?”
Hank then replies, “I know that you have many questions Jake but what you did last night was good.”
“Dirk” then speaks first by saying, “while you already ‘well acquainted’ with Chief Inspector Montoya of INTERPOL, this here is ‘Agent Boucher' of the French Intelligence Services and I am ‘Agent Diggler' from the ‘Bureau’”.
Jake sarcastically adds, “yeah but just not hung like him. I saw Boogie Nights.”
Mark then suddenly smacks Jake upside the head and says to his son, “show some fucking respect Jake He is from the Bureau.”
Jake takes the smack on the head as well as the very harsh reprimand from his Dad and immediately apologizes to ‘Agent Diggler', even though around this time yesterday he had his cock deep in his ass Kyle was sucking on his.
Agent Diggler then replies to both Jake and Mark, “it’s alright Mr. Smith. I’ve already heard it all back at the Academy. That’s why I go by ‘Dirk’ when in the field.
Jake Dad then says, “I recognize the three of you from last night.”
Agent Diggler then says, “but how? I ran security at that place and knew of everyone entering and leaving it.”
‘Agent Boucher' says in better English but with a mild French accent, “because he was dressed as the ‘saoudien’ Agent Diggler along with his associate as well.”
Jake’s Dad the says, “he is no one to be concerned with Agent Boucher. He’s a family friend of ours. I asked him to help me out because I had a feeling that Jake was in trouble, call it paternal intuition, so I asked him to help me out.”
Agent Diggler then says, “we found a shot up truck with fifty caliber bullet holes near where we found Vaclav hiding, bullet wound to the knee and all.”
Jake’s Dad then replies, “I called for additional backup just in case it was needed, and under these circumstances it definitely was because Jake’s life was in danger.”
Jake then says, “look Agent Diggler, I shot Vaslav in the knee out of fear for my life because when he and his goons showed up while I was trying to escape from that homo fuckfest of his that your ran security for and that all three of you guys were at.
“I went the back ways out ways because I was held up there for a couple of days because Vaslav wanted me to sign some papers; give him some stocks of mine before his big IPO on Monday.”
Jake then adds, “your butt fucking, cock slobbering buddy Kyle had already delivered to Vaclav his own family’s shares. Congratulations on your engagement to him by the way.”
Mark then shouts, “Jacob Timothy Smith.”
Jake replies, “fuck this bullshit. I didn’t do anything wrong Dad except get caught up in one giant fucked up job interview and an international male prostitute sex ring that appeals to very rich businessmen.’
Agent Diggler then gets very irate by saying, “you see gentlemen, we have a bit of a problem here in that while Jake did us a favor by shooting that prick Vaclav in the knee, the both of them interfered in a transnational intelligence agency investigation into Vaclav Svoboda and his organization.
Both “Agent Boucher” and Chief Inspector Montoya nod and agree. Hank then says, “we were just merely observers Jake, and Señor Smith, the ‘Bureau’ is leading this investigation on American soil.”
At this time “Agent Boucher” starts to speak to Hank in French believing that they would not be understood.
Jake’s Dad then calmly chimes in and says, “if you have something to say to each other in private gentlemen, then please do it in a language that I do not understand. I know Spanish, French, German, a bit of Italian, and Euskara, so if you have something to say, then say it.
“Jake did nothing wrong except get the fuck out of that place and shot the creep that you all were investigating in the first place. My boy did you all did you all a big fucking favor now can we fucking go?”
Agent Diggler then replies, “a word in private Philippe and Enrique.”
The three of them all leave the interrogation room.
Jake just says, “wholly fuck, what was all that about?”
Mark replies, “I have no idea Son, I wish I knew.”
Jake replies, “looks like I got myself in some pretty dip shit here Dad.”
Mark responds, “no Jake, I did. I’m the one who advised you to take this job in the first place, brought Rob and Angus’s boys as backup just incase.”
While all this was going on, Saul was silent until now. He says, “this does not look good Mark and Jake.”
Mark replies “what does that mean Saul?”
Saul replies, “Jake has gotten himself, and now you by association into something way much bigger. Not something that my firm is used to in that we do mostly financial contracts, business dealings.”
Mark then asks the big question to Saul by saying, “so this is some pretty deep shit Jake has gotten himself into?”
Saul replies, “that is putting it mildly Mark. This is a government criminal case that Jake has gotten himself involved in.”
Mark then pounds a fist on the table and shouts, “but it was totally by circumstances Saul. He had no idea that he was going to get involved in all of this shit. Jesus fucking Christ he just came to this fucking place for a job interview.
Jake speaks up and says, “Dad it’s OK. I got myself into this mess as well. I could have walked away at anytime after the interview but I didn’t. I just saw it as a great opportunity.
“I just want to clear my name and these guys mean business, so I will do what I have to do to clear it. . .”
At that point Agent Diggler and Chief Inspector Montoya re-enter the interrogation room. Agent Diggler then says “sorry Jake and Mr. Smith but Jake needs to be moved to the Bureau office in the city us so can be fully debriefed by us.”
Jake’s Dad then rises out of his chair in outrage and shouts at the both of them, “what do you mean by that Agent Diggler?!! Jake is just a kid caught up in some bad stuff that was not his fault!! Why does he have to be ‘debriefed’?!”
Inspector Montoya then says, “’lo siento señor´ Smith but Jake has firsthand knowledge of Vaclav for many years; about his business dealings.”
Jake shouts out, “I don’t know shit about Vaclav’s business dealing Hank. Yeah, I met him a few years ago. Looking to invest in my previous employer’s company before it went bankrupt. I carted his ass around town to show off the potential business opportunity there, and that was it, I fucking swear!”
Mark then interrupts because he knows that Jake is trying to tell the truth but not lie a well by omitting some pretty intimate information about Jake’s previous encounter with Vaclav so he goes for one last shot to get Jake out of this bind my saying in Euskara to Hank, “’zure lan zikina egin dut, beraz, eman atsedena nire haurrari (I did your dirty work for you so give my kid a break).’”
Hank is shocked by what Mark just said. He replies back in Basque, “’ Ez nago ziur zer esan nahi duzun? (I am not sure what you mean).”
Jake then says, “Dad, what are you doing? I understand a bit what you are saying but it’s been so long ago.”
Mark replies to Jake, “’Hank’ knows what I am talking about, don’t you Chief Inspector Montoya? I can’t talk about it much but let’s just say I did your government a big favor several years ago and I am now calling in my marker.”
Chief Inspector then gets really huffed up and replies, “I work for INTERPOL right now and have no current association with the Espanish Government.”
Mark just replies, “yeah right, sure buddy. I also didn’t tell you that while I was working out of Bilbao, that is where I met Jake’s mom, who had been recently widowed, I had a local case officer, we never met in person but just by coincidence went by the name ‘Ha. . .’”
At that point Chief Inspector then says to Agent Diggler, “sequester them both. They both know much more than they are letting on. ‘Separarlos.’”
Agent Diggler then replies, “on whose authority pal? Your INTERPOL, so strictly an observer on this case. What past shit between your government and Mister Smith senior is not the Bureau's problem. Also, my guys looked into Jake’s dad when he first came into here and it’s beyond my security clearance” as he looks at Mark and says, “isn’t that right John Marcus Smith?” . . .
Jake’s Dad replies, “yeah that’s right Agent Diggler and if I talk about anything I did for my ‘previous employer’ then criminal charges, prison time, and fines may and probably will follow against me so I am sure that can you and your small dick can understand that.”
Jake and Saul are just sitting there silently while Mark is still arguing with both “Dirk” and “Hank” until Jake slaps his hand on the table and shouts, “enough of this bullshit!! I will tell you guys everything if it puts Vaclav away for a very long time because I do know a lot more details about the man.
“I will tell you guys everything. Just let my Dad go. He only got caught up in this because he was worried about me and as you guys haven’t figured out he is a very smart and resourceful person.”
Agent Diggler takes in what Jake just says, then whispers into Inspector Montoya’s ear for a bit.
Saul chimes in and says “ahh hemm, we are still here. So, what are you proposing gentlemen? My clients wish to cooperate in your investigation and the local charges have been dropped but we will be filing unlawful bodily search charges against this police department as well as unlawful detainment because my clients has not broken any Federal laws.”
Agent Diggler then responds, “Mr. Smith senior may leave but he must be available for further questioning. Unfortunately, Jake needs to be taken in for further debriefing; we have a lot more questions for him.”
Jake’s Dad shouts out, “this is fucking bullshit, and you know that, Agent Diggler!!”
Agent Diggler replies, “I know you are upset Mr. Smith but those are my orders from Bureau. The situation with Jake has gotten a lot more complicated.”
Jake’s Dad replies, “how complicated, Agent Diggler?”
Dirk replies, “that’s confidential”.
Agent “Boucher” then adds in, “’parce que’ the Chairman of the American SEC as well as a former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board and Germany’s Deutsche Bank were also arrested last night at the ‘Le château de Vaclav.”
Jake then says, “holy fucknuts!! I knew that there were a lot of perverted guys there that were there” last night”. He then adds, “look I told you guys everything that I know since I got here. About what happened last night and the past few days I was here. Can’t we just let this all go Agent Diggler? I had no idea that you were a Fed when I fucked both you and your now probably now ex-boyfriend’s asses.
“Sorry that you have to hear about this now Dad and Saul but where is Kyle by the way? And did he receive the “Spanish Inquisition” from Agent Montoya as well because from the way things were going until you all broke up Vaclav’s party, he was expecting it from me.”
Jake then adds, “I did leave one small detail out though Agent Diggler in that soon after you nutted your load out in Kyle’s mouth he came to my room, and I gave him something that he desperately wanted but something that you just didn’t measure up to.”
Agent Diggler then gets all up and huffy while going red in the face, and replies, “I need to go contact the local field office about this. Smith the senior is free to go for now but Smith the younger needs to be fully debriefed. I have a lot more questions for him.”
Agent Diggler then gets and leaves the room.
Inspector Montoya and Agent Boucher still remained seated at the table when Agent Boucher says, “I ‘ave a personal story to tell you Jaques and Marc.”
“I ‘ave been investigating Vaclav and his organization for many years because my son got involved with ‘im. ‘E saw it a business opportunity, just like you did, was promised a lot of money, like you were. ‘E eventually became one of those pleasure men that Vaclav’s rich and powerful connections use in order to fund his operation just like the young men you met last night.”
After hearing Agent Boucher’s story, Jake asks him, “so where is your son now? Was he able to get out of it?”
Agent Boucher replies, “’non, René, il est mort’” as he pulls out his wallet, pulls out a photograph from it and slides it across the table for Jake to see.
Jake then looks down at it and sees a photo of a young man, maybe around his age if not a few years younger and dressed in his soccer kit; he has black hair and bright green eyes as well as a big smile on his face.
After seeing the photo of René, Jake asks “may I ask how he died ‘Agent Boucher’?”
Agent Boucher replies, “’eroin overdose in Vienna shorty after one of Vaclav’s investment meetings there. ‘Dis is why I got myself embedded in and went deeply undercover into it Jaques ”.
Jake then places the photo of René back down on the table, passes it back to “Agent Boucher” and says, “may I have a moment alone with my Dad and lawyer, that includes the guys behind the big mirror there, as well as the hidden cameras and mics. Shut them off.”
Agent Boucher replies, “of course Jaques. Agent Diggler is getting a bit inpatient though, so we need a decision very soon. ‘Vous avez cinq minutes pour décider” as both he and Hank both leave the room.
Jake then says, “what did he just say Dad? I failed French.”
Jake’s Dad replies, we have five minutes Jake so what do you want to do?” . . .
After the five minutes have passed, Agents Diggler and Boucher along with Chief Inspector Montoya reenter the interrogation room. Agent Diggler says, “so Jake, what is your decision?”
Jake replies, “under advice from my legal council and my Dad, I wish to fully cooperate with your investigations into Vaclav just as long as my name is kept out of it as much as possible. I will tell you all everything that I know.”
Agent Diggler says, “you are doing the right thing Jake. Hopefully this will only take a few days, a week at most. You have my word. Then we will get you home. I swear.”
Jake’s Dad then interrupts and says, “you better Agent Diggler. Jake has already been through enough as it is. He wishes to cooperate with you all.”
The door to the interrogation room then opens up and Jake sees a tall, blonde-haired middle-aged, and burly agent enters it.
Agent Diggler then says, “Mitch, what are you doing here?”
The burly Bureau agent curtly replies to Agent Diggler, “I got a call from the Assistant Director personally John and the situation became more complicated since last night. He personally requested that I take over for the protection of the ‘asset’ for the moment and to keep him in a safe location.”
Agent Diggler the gets in a huff and says back to his counterpart, “but aren’t you currently under suspension Mitch?”
The blonde haired and burly agent then replies to his counterpart, “it’s currently under review so I’m still on active duty Agent Diggler but just taking some long overdue vacation time until I got a call from the Assistant Director.”
Agent Digger then replies back, “I have this situation all under control Mitch. The asset is going to be moved to the Bureau HQ in the city for a full debriefing. He will be safe there.”
Agent ‘Mitch’ then replies back to Diggler, “the Assistant Director believes otherwise and the Bureau offices in the City is going to be the first place that they will look for the asset.”
Jake then sees Diggler go up to Agent ‘Mitch’ and whisper something in his right ear.
The both of them quietly whisper and argue with one another as they struggle not to be overheard but from what words that Jake can make out is that “powerful friends”, and “needs to be kept safe for the moment”, as well as “this is my ops Mitch I was a undercover there for almost a year in order to make it all happen.”
The burly Bureau agent only known as ‘Mitch’ then says, “my orders come from the top John so if you have an issue with them then take it up with the Assistant Director but for now, I’m taking the boy someplace safe.”
Agent Diggler then pauses for a moment and then looks over and says to Jake, his Dad, and their family lawyer and says, “sorry but Jake here needs to be moved someplace safe so go with Agent Dalton here. He will keep you safe but for now the shit is really starting to hit the fan now because the news media is all over this now”
Jake’s “Dad” then says, “someone talked didn’t they and because of it his life is now at risk, isn’t it”?
Agent Dalton then says to Jake’s Dad, “I understand your frustration Mr. Smith but this is for Jake’s personal protection. He will be well looked after until he can fully be debriefed by the Bureau. I swear.”
Jake’s Dad then says in a cold voice and stares with his brown dark brown eyes right into the burly Bureau ice blue eyes, “I am personally putting you in charge for the care and safety of my Son here Agent ‘Mitch’ or whoever the fuck that you are so if anything else happens to him that will be totally unacceptable.”
Agent Dalton then says to Jake’s Dad “I will Mr. Smith and I swear to you that I will will take care of Jake, you have my word but he has to come with me now because. . .”, and then briefly pauses.
Jake Dad picked up that Agent Dalton paused and motioned slightly with his head to him by turning it slightly in the direction of Agent Diggler as well as holding up his right index and middle fingers. He immediately picks up on what the Bureau agent is signaling to him.
The blond and burly Bureau agent then continues by saying, “. . .Vaclav’s associates already know that he is here and soon they will be coming for him so he has to be moved now John.”
Jake then breaks in and says, “I have an idea who talked in that it was probably that slimy human turd and ‘Dirk’s’ lover Kyle who trying to save his own ass right about now”.
Agent Dalton replies to Jake, “nope cause it was Vaclav who talked after you shot his right knee off Jake and spilled out you name to his own lawyer so next time kid shoot the gun someplace higher like in the central chest or head but for now we need to go.”
Agent Dalton then says back to Jake’s Dad while he tries to stare him down with his own cold ice blue eyes, “yeah I’ve killed before and from what I overheard from the other side of the two way mirror before coming in here, so are you so have you Mr. Smith but for now Jake need to come with me for his own safety.
“I will look after Jake Mr. Smith and if any harm comes to him then you can kill me yourself for failing him and you.”
Agent Dalton then leaves the room.
Jake’s Dad then takes a brief moment to what Agent Dalton just said to him and Jake, who is still seated and for the first time in his life has a fear in his eyes, looks at him and says to his adoptive son, “you had better go with Agent Dalton, Jake, for your own safety; It will only be for a few days until things cool down.”
Jake then stands up but still has an fearful look on his face as well as few tears, that he tries to quickly wipe away so that Agent Diggler doesn’t think that he is a pussy and says, “I know ok Dad, it’s just for a few days, kind of like summer camp you sent me back in Boise.”
Jake Dad then deeply hugs his son and whispers into his ear in Euskara, “’Ez fidatu inorekin. Ez naiz estatu hau zu gabe utziko. Erabili eman dizudan txartela larrialdietarako (don't trust anyone. I'll not leaving this state without you. Use the card I gave you for emergencies).
Agent Dalton then returns with Jake’s belonging that are in an envelope and says, “we have to go now sir, we are behind schedule. The asset needs to be secured.”
Diggler replies, “time to go Jake.”
Jake then looks at his Dad and says, “love you Dad, thanks for getting me out of that place, but now I have to do what I have to do.”
Mark replies, as he give Jake a hug and a kiss on the cheek and whispers in his ear in Basque, “’Maite zaitut semea eta gertu egongo naiz, beti’ (I love you son and I will be close, always).”
Jake and his Dad then break off their hug and Jake goes with Agent Dalton, but turns around to give his Dad one last look. . . .
