. . .During the fast car ride Jake is laying down as flat as possible, going in and out of consciousness while his adoptive father is holding, hugging and trying to keep is adoptive son awake, but Jake keeps on dozing off. Jake’s Dad then yells from the back, “Jake is getting colder Angus! DRIVE LIKE FUCKING HELL!!”
Angus then speeds up the SUV to its maximum speed while on highway and dodging traffic along the way. In doing so they picked up the attention of a local highway patrolman that the car was excessively speeding.
Jake’s Dad then shouts out, “there is a fucking cop on our tail Agent Dalton, and we don’t have fucking time for this.”
Mitch replies, “I’ll care of it Mark. Now hold on we are almost there.”
Mitch then gets on his phone and makes yet another call. . . .
While Jake’s Dad is hugging his son tightly to exchange body heat with him, he looks out the rear-view window to see the highway patrol car zip pass and in front of the car and changes its lights to all blue but with sirens blaring.
Mitch then says, “we are all clear for the hospital and they are on notice.”
Jake’s Dad takes a sigh of relief and hugs on Jake some more and whispers to him, “getting you help kiddo, just hold on.”
Jake then attempts to hug his Dad back and says, “’banekien aita egingo zenuela’’ (I always knew that you would come me) and then passes out.
Jake’s Dad then starts to cry and says as he weeps while holding Jake harder, “stay with me Son”.
A few moments later the SUV pulls into the Emergency Room’s entry portico where an emergency team is waiting for them.
Jake is then suddenly placed on a gurney and taken to the emergency room.
Jake’s Dad tries to go in there as well but is stopped by a nurse and tells him to stay back and wait. He doesn’t like it because he wants to be in the room while the doctors and nurses examine and treat Jake, but he has no choice at the moment.
Jake’s Dad is lost in his thoughts until Angus comes to his side, places one of burly arms around his shoulder and says, “there is nothing that you can do for Jake right now Marcus, let these quacks do their thing to get Jake better. Now have a seat and wait.”
Jake’s Dad then replies, “not a chance. I have questions that need to be answered.”
Jake’s Dad then seeks out Agent Dalton and sees that he is talking of the phone while Kyle is talking to the highway patrolman that escorted them to the hospital. He goes up to him and says, “how did this fucking happen Agent Dalton? You were supposed to look out for Jake and did a fucking shitty job at that as well as fucking him as well!! And what is this shit about Jake signing up for all of this. My Son would have been killed by that maniac!!”
Mitch then very calmly says since he is on the phone, “’uncail’ looking forward to your arrival” as he then hangs up the call. He then gets in Jake's Dad face and shouts loudly back at him “Jake did sign up for this! He knew the risks of going to work for Vaclav and did so without question. He was under orders not to tell you, but you and your friend meddled anyways and found a way to crash Vaclav's party the other day by passing off as Saudi sheiks no less!!
“And then there is the business of you getting ahold of very classified Agency information about Vaclav and his properties and holdings by calling your old Agency friend in London and meeting up with him in Amsterdam, where he passed this information off to you and so in my book that is a Federal crime considering that you are a civilian now Mr. Smith so both you and your buddy Charlie can go way for a long time for that!!”
Jake's Dad is stunned by how much Agent Dalton knows about his movements in the past few days and quietly says, “I think that you made your point Agent Dalton.”
Mitch then adds in as he whispers this time to Jake’s Dad to get his point across and says, “while I was in the station behind the glass I read your Agency jacket Mr. Smith. All of it. It would be a shame if Jake knew the truth about what really happened to his natural father, now would it?”
Jake’s Dad is startled by what Agent Dalton just said to him and whispers back at him, “it would kill him.”
Agent Dalton replies back, “it could but you knew that one day he will find out the truth.”
Jake's Dad replies, “yeah. I know and when that happens, I will have to accept the consequences of it.”
Agent Dalton then says, “Jake is a special young man, and I know that you love him dearly and what you did over the past few days was to protect him so I will make a deal with you and your friends over there.”
Jake's Dad just nods in agreement while Agent Dalton makes his offer.
Jake's Dad then goes back to Angus and his twin sons who have been all seated in the waiting room and says, “stand up guys.”
Angus replies back, “as why should we do that Marcus? You were talking to the Fed man for a very long time.”
Jake's Dad replies, “because this is our get out of jail card Angus. We invaded a foreign nation, caused massive amounts of damage, dropped a few bad guys, used a lot of illegal stuff while doing so, so if you all wish to reside in prison in Leavenworth, Kansas for twenty years to life you all better stand the fuck up and follow Agent Dalton’s direction on this.”
They all stand up, with Bobby Joe saying, “does this have to do with what happened back on the island ‘uncail’? It is all over the news. Two bodies were pulled from the river. One alive, the other ain’t but were taken to the other side of the border.”
Joey Bob chimes in and adds, “yeah as well as finding a few ones burnt to a crisp.”
Jake's Dad replies back, “well if we don’t do what Agent Dalton suggests, be careful about dropping the soap in the communal showers and being locked up for twenty-three hours a day.”
Angus then says, “let's get this done.”
Agent Dalton then comes forward and as an agent of the Bureau he has the power to deputize American civilians into service and made it retroactive.
They all take the oath of Bureau service.
Once that was done an emergency room doctor came out and asks for Jake’s Dad. He lifts his hand, and the doctor comes out and says, “I am Dr. Wang Mr. Smith, you are Jake’s father?” Jake’s Dad then replies in affirmative.
Dr. Wang then says “we should go someplace private to talk. It is about Jake and his condition.”
Jake’s Dad replies, “how bad doc? Give it to me straight.”
Dr. Wang then says to Jake's Dad that from initial examinations, Jake has a swollen and fractured right kneecap as well as both of his testicles due to repeated impact and are swelling up to fluid build up and must be drained immediately or there is a high risk of sterility or even lead to testicular cancer.
The doctor then adds that since Jake's body was in a state of shock when he arrived at the emergency room so they cannot give him anesthesia or sedation at the moment in that may drop his blood pressure even lower and could lead to cardiac arrest.
Jake’s Dad starts to weep in that he does not like to sound of what the doc just told him and says, “okay so what you guys have to do to get Jake better?”
Dr. Wang says, “come with me.”
Jake's Dad then follows Dr. Wang and is then immediately dressed in a green surgical gown and instructed to wash his hands thoroughly. He does so without question. Once his hands are dried and double gloved, Dr. Wang then instructs Jake’s Dad to follow him into the emergency surgery room. There he sees Jake lying back on the bed and his legs elevated, spread wide open and wide apart with straps tied down to his lower legs.
Jake's Dad does not like the sight of that and says, “what gives doc? Why is Jake like that and all?”
Dr. Wang says, “it will make what we have to do easier. It will be my colleague Dr. Messerschmitt doing the procedure on Jake.”
Jake's Dad doesn’t like the sound of that and asks Dr. Wang, “and what procedure would that be?”
Dr. Messerschmitt then replies, “to drain the built-up swelling fluids in Jake’s testicles, Mr. Smith. I have experience in this field in that well a lot of ice hockey and lacrosse is played around here and well not all players were wearing proper protection down there, so we need to start.”
Jake's Dad then says, “okay so what do I have to do?”
Dr. Wang then says, “do you love you son Mr. Smith?”
Jake's Dad replies, “I do. Always and forever.”
Dr. Wang the says to Jake's Dad, “then hug your son tightly and keep him pinned down so that he does not move at all because what my colleague is about to do to him will cause him immediate and immense pain. Can you do that?”
Jake's Dad replies, “I can. Just get him better doc.”
Dr. Wang then instructs Jake's Dad to be in the position to hold his son down tightly and hold him down hard and tells him to keep him down during the procedure or it may cause grave consequences.
Jake's Dad follows Dr. Wang’s orders to the tee and says, “I'm ready. Not let’s get this done docs and make my Son better.”
Dr. Messerschmitt then says, “starting the draining now. Hold on Jake tight because he will experience a lot of pain soon.” Dr. Messerschmitt then starts his treatment of Jake’s swollen testicles by draining the excess fluid that has built up in his testicles.
At that point Jake suddenly awakens from that very sudden jabbing of a big needle into his swollen testicles and shouts out in pain.
His blood pressure immediately rises as well as adrenaline starts to instantaneously flow from his brain and into the rest of his body and struggles to fight off the pain from the needle being injected into his testicles.
Jake then yells out, “aww FUUUUCCCKKKK!!!” and then struggles to free himself from being restrained.
Jake's Dad then suddenly holds harder and pins Jake down harder and says as he weeps in seeing his Son in so much pain, “the docs are going to make you better Jake. It hurts for now but you just have to be as still as possible and let them do what they have to do to get you better. Can you do that Jake?”
After the sudden shock of Jake feeling a giant needle penetrate his balls, he looks over at his Dad and weakly says, “’bai aita'" as his adoptive father holds him down harder on the gurney.
As Dr. Messerschmitt fills up the syringe Jake struggles and grunts hard from the pain until he passes out.
Jake’s Dad has been so focused on keeping Jake restrained that he took no notice of what Dr. Messerschmitt was doing until after Jake passed out from pain to his testicles until he said, “well that is interesting.”
Jake’s Dad replies back at him, “what is so interesting doc? You just jabbed a giant needle into my Son’s nuts and experienced great pain and passed out while you did so.”
Dr. Messerschmitt then replies back to Jake’s Dad “well Mr. Smith there was a lot of blood in the fluid that made his testicles swell up but that is to be expected because there may be a few ruptured veins in there. It may require surgery if the swelling does not subside but because your Son has rather primordial and extraordinary human male survival skills Mr. Smith in that he is a natural fighter. Such a rare trait these days.”
Jake’s Dad looks confused and asks, “and what is that doc and don’t bullshit me. Give it to me straight.”
Dr. Messerschmitt then replies back, “while Jake was in painful agony from the drainage needle that was in his scrotum, Jake then became totally erect and spontaneously ejaculated as you can now probably see.”
Jake’s Dad then looks down at Jake’s lower body and he sees that there is a massive wet spot seeping through the medical gown that covering Jake’s privates and his slowly subsiding massive erection.
Dr. Messerschmitt then says, “Dr. Wang please come over and have a look. I could use a second opinion on this.”
Dr. Wang then goes to where his colleague is and hears him whisper silently before going down under to where Jake has his legs spread wide open.
There the both of them talk and this is making Jake’s Dad quite nervous in that now both of these doctors are examining Jake in his most private body areas.
Dr. Wang then rises up and agrees with his medical colleague’s diagnosis of Jake and then says to Jake’s Dad, “Jake needs to rest right now Mr. Smith, and I can use a coffee, how about you?”
Jake’s Dad doesn’t like the sound of Dr. Wang’s patronizing tone but he knows that what he about to tell him is not good news so he says, only if its outside and in private. I could use a smoke.”
Dr. Wang agrees in that he could use one as well and that he will meet him outside soon.
Jake’s Dad then quickly exits the emergency examination room sheds off the green surgical gown as he does so. He makes a bee line towards the nearest exit, which happens to be by the waiting room, darts by Angus and his twin sons and goes outside to take several deep breaths and then reach into is pocket to pull out a pack of smokes, light one up, and take a deep drag of it.
He quickly finished off the first one and was starting to light his second when Dr. Wang approached him with two cups of coffee. He lights up the cigarette and passes it to Dr. Wang as he accepts the cup crappy hospital coffee and says, “give it to me straight doc. How bad in a condition is Jake in?”
Dr. Wang then explains that there was blood in Jake’s spontaneously ejaculated semen, which leads him and Dr. Messerschmitt to conclude that Jake has a small tear in either one or both of his vas deferens that are causing him have blood in his semen.
Dr. Wang then goes on to say that the hospital does not have the capability to repair it there but the major hospital in the upstate does and it is four hours away by ambulance.
Dr. Wang then adds, “and this is a very uncomfortable question for you Mr. Smith because I myself a father of two sons and well . . .”
Jake’s Dad then takes a sip of the bad coffee and lights up a cigarette and says, “just come out and say it doc. I can handle it.”
Dr. Wang then says bluntly, “your son also showed signs of receiving recent anal penetration so I must ask you Mr. Smith is Jake either a homo or bisexual in that he may have recently experienced anal intercourse? Dr. Messerschmitt noticed . . .”
On hearing was Dr. Wang just told him Jake’s Dad then says as he tosses down his smoke and coffee cup and says quietly, “your right doc, I can’t handle it, now excuse me.”
Jake’s Dad then rushes back into the Emergency Room’s and sees Agent Dalton now then talking to a middle-aged man that was about Agent Dalton’s age if not younger. He then blind rushes him and tackles him down from the side and then starts to punch at his face and body while shouting, “you fucking faggot. You raped my son!! You fucking faggot!!”
He only got a couple of punches in until Agent Dalton able to block the rest of Jake’s Dad blows to his head and body until the middle-aged man’s bodyguards were able to pin him down and restrain him by one man having his service weapon aimed right at the back of his head while the two others pulled his arms behind his back and handcuffed him.
The middle-aged man then says to his bodyguards “take him to a private room and let him calm down a bit but keep an eye on him. I will be there shortly.” He then turns to Mitch and says, “and this is Jake’s father?”
Agent Dalton then gets really up close to Jake’s Dad and says to his boss, “just his adoptive one ‘Uncail’, Jake’s true father is deceased for over twenty years now according to the file” and then gets within a few inches of Jake’s Dad right ear and adds, “by an unknown assassin that many suspect is an American.”
Agent Dalton then steps back and says to his boss, “Mr. Smith and his colleagues over there assisted me in locating Vaclav and where he had taken Jake.”
The middle-aged man then says, “I see and did you do what Mr. Smith just accused you of Agent Dalton?”
Mitch being the honorable man then says, “I haven’t had a chance to explain that to you ‘Uncail’. It just happened and it was Jake that well. . .”
The middle-aged man then reprimands his nephew and says, “when we are in the room with Mr. Smith you will refer to me as my official title Agent Dalton do I make myself clear?”
Mitch replies, “yes assistant director.”
The middle-aged man then just says, “now go find Kyle and make sure that the room is set up and the equipment is working properly because Jake’s Dad will need a lot of convincing at the moment. Can you do that Agent Dalton?”
Mitch replies, “I will do as you instructed assistant director.”
The middle-aged man then goes over to Angus and his twin sons and then starts to chat with them.
Jake’s Dad must have been restrained with cuffs behind his back for almost half an hour and being watched over by the middle-aged man’s security team. He tries to say that he has the urge to go urinate and one security goons just replies back, “just piss on yourself. The assistant director may not like the smell of your piss but he is used to it by now.”
Jake’s Dad then asks, “why is there no word on my Son yet?”
The other security goon just says, “well maybe he is getting some horny faggot doc’s dick up his ass at the moment.”
The two bodyguards then snicker and fist bump one another.
Jake’s Dad did not appreciate what was just said about Jake and then begins to stand up and attempt to struggle free from the handcuffs.
As he was almost standing up Kyle and Agent Dalton then enter the room with Kyle carrying a laptop pc and then connects it to the TV in the room and sets it all up. An image of a logo of the Bureau appears and a sub-line caption that states, “Confidential: Only For Authorized Personnel” as well as the usual legal disclaimer that any unauthorized viewing will result in ten years in prison and a minimum of $100,000 fine.
Once the laptop is set up Mitch then takes a seat right across from Jake’s Dad and says to him, “right now I can tell you that if you still want to beat the shit out of me Mr. Smith once he is out of surgery. You can because I fucked up in protecting him. It is totally my fault as well as I got a bit too involved and intimate with him.
“For that I deeply and apologize to you sir and when Jake is health to him as well.
“I am also ready to accept any reprimand or if the assistant director decides, immediate termination from the Bureau.
“I am very sorry for what happened between Jake and I.”
Jake’s Dad then lifts his head up and looks Agent Dalton straight in the face and asks him a straight forward question: “did you just fuck my son because you were both drunk a lot of beer and both smoked a shit load of cigarettes and took sexual advantage of him or did you make love to him?”
Agent Dalton then looks Jake’s Dad straight back and with total sincerity and replies, “I made love to Jake because he wanted me to Mr. Smith and by doing so and losing him while he was under my protection will probably cost me my badge and what meager pension I have saved up.”
Jake’s Dad then looks over at Agent Dalton and sees
the sincerity in his eyes and says, “I believe you Agent Dalton so there is no need to keep me restrained any longer. I will sit here and wait for your boss or is it uncle arrives. He seems a bit young to be your ‘uncail’ though.”
Agent Dalton then says, “I am actually two years older than the assistant director but technically he is my ‘Uncail’ Mr. Smith just as well as Sean Tobias O’Malley and Kyle over there are and were my cousins.”
Jake’s Dad then gets a bit apprehensive and says, “why is it that when ever I hear that the ‘Mick’ last name O’Malley usually ends up bad for Jake.”
The middle-aged man then enters the room and says, “yes it does Mr. Smith. We are a cursed family. Both my elderly brothers passed away in their prime, with my elder brother having an heir, but then he suddenly passed at a very young age.
“And that Old Country ‘curse will pass with me in that I have no offspring.”
Jake’s Dad then says to the assistant director, “so did you decide to have a vasectomy or have your balls cut off instead” and then adds in another layered insult by saying, “or you are faggot like your two nephews that are here in the room with us.”
Kyle then looks around at Jake’s Dad while Agent Dalton is still seated calmly to the left of his uncle, the assistant director.
The assistant director then laughs a bit and then says, “now I know where Jake got his smart assed mouth from Mr. Smith” and then says to one of his bodyguards, “Agent Norris, please uncuff Mr. Smith and bring us some coffee and if he wishes cigarettes. He may need them during his debriefing.”
Agent Norris then starts to uncuff Jake’s Dad and says loudly while doing so, “don’t try any funny business sir or if that pussy Dalton didn’t make your son his fuck boy, then I sure as hell will. He is really handsome and all. I wish I had a chance at his ass….”
Agent Norris didn’t have time to complete his comment in that Agent Dalton then suddenly across the table and gave Agent Norris a hard punch to the face.
The distraction then gave Jake’s Dad time a few milliseconds to react in that he used his free hand to give Agent a hard elbow jab to his solar plexus and then quickly rise up and reach under his suit jacket, find his hip holster, take his service weapon from him and chamber a load.
The assistant director then yells out, “that is enough Dalton and Norris. Stand the fuck down the both of you and that goes for you too Agent Ramirez!!”
Jake’s Dad then looks to his left side to see that the assistant director other bodyguard has his service pistol aimed right at his jaw and he says to him, “drop the gun ‘pendejo’ or will be eating out of a straw if you survive. The bullets are armor piercing and will blow apart half of your head at this range.”
Jake’s Dad then sees that he has no options at the moment and then whispers, “letting go of the gun” and then drops it to the table.
The assistant director then says, “Ramirez finish uncuffing Mr. Smith and then once you are done go take Norris out of here and there the both of you will immediately request a transfer from my security detail but bring us coffee and cigarettes first. Do you have that Agent Ramirez?”
Agent Ramirez then tries to question his soon-to-be boss’s orders but sees the look in his and Agent Dalton’s eyes and then just helps his partner out of the room and leaves.
The assistant director then sits back down and says to Agent Dalton, “since you have yet to be reprimanded or terminated from the Bureau Agent Dalton please grab Agent Norris’ weapon and keep it well aimed at Mr. Smith. If he rises up even an inch from his seat, you may shoot him but just to incapacitate him. Am I clear.”
Mitch then grabs the weapon that is laying on the table in front of Jake’s Dad, sits back down at the chair to the left of him and says coldly stairs straight in Jake’s Dad eyes and doesn’t blink. He then says, “it will be my pleasure to do assistant director.”
Jake’s Dad recognizes the look that Agent Dalton is now currently giving him in that had the same one himself when doing come Agency business in the past and it frightens him that he sees Agent Dalton is just another just a reflection of himself.
Jake’s Dad now understands why Jake is attracted to Agent Dalton and why Jake chose him to be his first.
Jake’s Dad then says, “well now that the hired help is out of the room, can ‘Poindexter’ over there”, as he points at Kyle, “get the A/V squad going and start the movie?”
The assistant director then says, “the ‘hired help’ were not cleared for this Mr. Smith anyways so thank you for giving me an excuse to ditch them, but I warn you what you are about to see is very disturbing and totally confidential.”
Jake’s Dad then replies, “I can handle it assistant director and has you know I am still bound by any of our government’s agencies confidentiality law.”
The assistant director then replies, “what I saw made me nauseous. What you will see will make you uncomfortable and sick as well, Mr. Smith. Are you ready for that?”
Jake’s Dad gets the impression that the assistant director is totally serious and replies, “I can handle it.”
The assistant director then says to Kyle, “start the video.”
Kyle then does. It first starts off with just still photos of Toby O’Malley from when he graduated from high school.
Jake’s Dad recognizes the photo in the image because it one with Jake in their caps and gowns giving each other a side hug. He has the same one in his study at home. Then he sees a photo of Toby playing lacrosse in college. He looks fit and athletic.
Jake’s Dad gets a bit impatient and says, “are you all going somewhere with this because I should be at Jake’s side at the moment and not be bored in seeing the O’Malley family photos of Toby. I already know that he was a handsome young man and a skilled athlete.”
The next photo appears on the screen for Jake’s Dad to see. There he sees Toby looking very pale and very lean in the face. He is sitting down along with Agent Dalton and the both of them have one arm around each other’s shoulders. He also sees that Toby has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
Jake’s Dad is shocked how much Toby has physically changed over the span of a year or so.
Agent Dalton then says, “this was an impromptu family reunion we had four months before Toby died Mr. Smith. It was meant to be an intervention of sort in that as you see Toby took on a considerable transformation in a very short period of time.”
The assistant director then adds in, “I tried to get my late and former sister-in-law involved and be concern about Toby’s well-being but she ignored pleads and repeated requests to get Toby help.”
Kyle then adds, “my late aunt Kathleen could be a real cold hearted cunt at times, Mr. Smith and when she found out that Toby was gay and that her former husband fornicated him well she just lost it and wanted nothing to do with Toby.”
Jake’s Dad then gets impatient and says, “look, I sympathize with your loss of Toby, I really do. We had him over for dinner while his mother and stepfather were travelling in Europe. My other sons looked up to him as an older brother type. We loved having Toby over.”
Kyle the adds in “and Toby loved being hosted by you Mr. Smith. It gave him a sense of what a normal family life was like.”
At that moment Agent Norris and Ramirez open the door to the room with coffee for the three of them and pack of cigarettes. Agent Norris then says, “here is the coffee as you requested sir as well as the cigarettes but may I remind you sir that the hospital has a Strick No-Smoking Policy.”
The assistant director then pulls out a smoke from the pack, lights it up, inhales and then says, “I don’t give a fuck Norris and where is your and Ramirez’s reassignment notice or do you have go hunt down a crayon from the pediatrics wing to write on out?”
Norris just say, “we are working on it sir” as he slams Jake’s Dad’s coffee down hard right in front of him and says, “ no we do not need a crayon.” He then leaves the room.
Jake’s Dad then takes a sip of the crappy and now cold hospital coffee and then says, “okay assistant director, what does all of this have to do with Jake?”
Kyle then grabs a cup of coffee and then lights up a smoke and says, “this Mr. Smith”.
He then looks at the screen and sees a photo of Vaclav in the back of the church where Toby’s burial mass occurred while both Jake and Kyle were both acting as pall bearers.
This peeks Jake’s Dad curiosity a bit and then asks, “okay so Vaclav was there. So what?”
Agent Dalton then adds, “as well as the assistant director and I considering we were Toby’s kin.”
The assistant director then adds in, “do you recall Toby’s wake, Mr. Smith?”
Jake’s Dad replies, “vaguely. I was chatting with Toby’s stepfather to the side and then Jake suddenly comes out of living room where Toby’s mom was greeting and thanking those who attended the funeral and expressing their condolences and all and says they have to suddenly leave.”
The assistant director then says, “I was in that room and I know what Jake said to my late sister-in-law. He got right up and said in her face that it was Toby that seduced him.”
Jake’s Dad then takes a sip of the cold and crappy coffee and then takes a cigarette from the pack and the lights one up and reluctantly says, “I had my same suspicions about Jake’s relationship with Toby. I even tried to inquire him deeply about it and he just said that they were just good friends and all. They hang out a lot at Toby’s house after dinner at mine. He said that they were playing video games and watching movies but I suspected that there was more going on between them, so yeah Jake was hiding something from me.”
The assistant director then says, “Kyle start the presentation.”
Jake’s Dad then looks up and sees a video on the screen that just has a black and white title on it that says, “Tim and Domingo” as well as the usual disclaimers as well as some other stuff that he cannot read.
Kyle the says, “this was found on the Dark Web Mr. Smith. There is no real way to describe it, but the best way is to say that this is an ‘audition video’ of sorts.”

If that means sacrificing my self-dignity as well as other things so, be it.”
The video then ends and Jake's Dad is stunned by it.
