Max’s Perspective

It was New Year’s morning and I woke up to the sounds of scuffling, barking, and whimpering. I was sleeping on my side and could feel Brody’s arms around me and his warm, tight body against mine.

“What the hell is that noise?” Brody whispered in my ear.

Zoey had been asleep in the bed with us, I looked around and saw he was gone. “I have no clue, but Zoey’s gone.”

“Zach probably let him out to play with Petunia” Brody said with sleep in his voice. I grunted, rolled out of bed, got my sweats on, then went downstairs to see what was going on. When I got to the bottom of the steps, I saw the two pups wrestling on the floor with Zach. It was so freaking cute. This big, blonde, muscle jock in just his boxers rolling on the floor with two puppies and giggling like a little kid.

Seth came down the steps and stood behind me as we watched the show together. “He wanted a puppy so bad” he said chuckling.

“Well, I think your anniversary gift was a hit” I said as we both descended the last couple of steps into the living room. “How did Zoey get down here?” I asked Zach.

“He heard me and Petunia in the hallway and started scratching on your bedroom door so I let him out” he said as he continued to wrestle with his four-legged friends.

“You want Coffee Zach?” I asked.

“Yes, please” he said with a giggle as Zoey pinned his shoulders to the floor and licked his face.

Seth and I went into the kitchen to make coffee. It was just about 8AM when I started listing off everything I had to get done before the party. We told people to come any time after 4:00PM so we had some time to get ready. We invited all our friends, family, my coworkers, some of Brody’s former coworkers, etc. I invited Stella and I know she had forwarded the invite to our clients… we didn’t actually expect any of them to make the trek but it was good PR. RSVP wasn’t required but we had an enthusiastic response on the Evite, so we stocked the bar well, and Fern and Sue were making enough hors’ d’oeuvres to feed an army…. Worse case scenario is we’d be eating leftovers at every meal for the next month.

Brody stumbled down the steps still half asleep. When he got to the living room, Zach pulled him into the puppy mayhem for a while, then the two of them joined the “adults” in the kitchen and we had a light breakfast and went through our game plan for the day. Seth offered to help me clean the house and barn after breakfast, it was clean but not quite party clean, and Zach and Brody were going to take care of Jimmy, spruce up the frozen yard, and move the cars around so people would know where to park. Once we all had our assignments, we headed upstairs to get ready to start the day. Brody let Zoey outside to play, and Petunia lumbered up the steps behind her new daddies following them into their bedroom.

I got in the shower first, the air was cold but the water was warm and felt great on my skin. I had my face turned up towards the showerhead letting the water wash over my face and through my red locks as I lost myself thinking about my to-do list. I was going through everything that needed to get done in the next few hours; how I was going to organize the Sip & Pour part of our party, the best way to set up the bar, etc. I was oblivious to my surroundings when I felt a warmth on my back, a kiss on the nape of my neck, as small but strong arms wrapped around my waist. “Penny for your thoughts, Maxwell” Brody said in a voice just loud enough for me to hear over the rushing water.

“Just thinking about what I gotta get done before the party” I replied as I put my arms behind me and grabbed is taut little tush… that got me a bunch of kisses on my neck.

“There aint that much to do” Brody said between kisses. “The four of us can knock that shit out in a coupla’ hours.” His hands fell down a few inches to my soapy, wet, flaccid manhood and he stroked it with one hand and tugged my balls with the other. My husband knew how to lather me up. Reaching around me, he stroked my soap-slickened shaft up and down, it felt amazing, so much so that I flipped around to return the favor. We were face-to-face and my back was against the wet tile wall. The cold air whipped through the warm water and his hot tool pressed against mine, the combination was amazing. Brody and I kissed passionately as one thing led to another. He bent his knees slightly and lined his soapy cock with my dripping wet hole as the water ran down my crack. He pushed up and slipped in with ease. I lifted my left leg off the shower floor and wrapped it around him, then I did something I had never done before… I lifted my other leg off the ground and wrapped it around him. Oh, my freaking god… I was completely off the ground, my legs around Brody’s waist, my arms around his neck, and my back against the wet, tile wall. Brody pushed up into me and I let out… well… it was a growl, a groan, and a grunt all rolled into one… a groalnt maybe… as I begged him to fuck me. Suddenly I slipped down the wall and his hard, veiny, perfect manhood plunged deeper into me than it had ever gone before. I let out a cry of ecstasy as he bottomed out in me hitting places I didn’t know existed, I threw my head back hard and smacked it against the tile wall… then everything went black.

Brody’s Perspective

Maxwell was in the shower gettin’ ready to start the day, we had some sprucin’ up to do around the place before the party. I went into the bathroom to take a whiz and saw him through the shower door… dayum, I couldn’t resist getting’ nekkid and jumpin’ in there with him. I soaped him up, and before I knew it, he had his arms and legs wrapped around me and I was buried up his tight, perfect ass. Like I said… dayum! He was beggin’ me to fuck him so I pushed up and he slipped down the wall, I had never been that deep inside him before, I was so deep it was almost painful. He screamed in pain, his head shot back and suddenly he was dead weight. He smacked his head against the tile wall… and smacked it hard. Maxwell is way bigger n’ me and I couldn’t hold him up very long. I grabbed on tight to his ass cheeks as I pulled out of him then slowly sunk to my knees lowering Maxwell’s body down with me. ‘Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck’ I thought to myself as I reached up to shut the water off and patted Maxwell on the cheek to try to wake him up. “Maxwell” I said tryin’ not to panic. “Maxwell, wake up.” I reached for a towel and dried him off, at the same time I yelled, “ZACH! SETH! HELP ME!”  They didn’t answer, so I dragged Maxwell to our bed and kept tryin’ to get him to come to, then I called Terrence. He’s an ER doctor. He and Harris had just closed on their new house up the road and were there working on demolishin’ the kitchen and baths. He jumped in the car immediately and headed over. I was in an all-out mother-freakin’ panic by then… Max still wouldn’t wake up. I looked out the bedroom window and saw Zach playin’ with the dogs, I opened it up and shouted down to him. He came running up, Seth came in a few seconds behind him drippin’ wet and wrapped in just a towel, he was in the shower when I yelled for help. All I told the guys was that Maxwell smacked his head against the shower wall and passed out. Nobody asked any questions; we were all more worried about helpin’ Max. Seth put a sweatshirt and sweatpants on him to make him decent… Max just laid there… dead weight. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit I was panickin’. The three of us tried to wake him, I can’t tell you how panicked I was… I was calm on the outside, but on the inside our entire life was flashin’ before my eyes. It was like it was all crashin’ down around me. Just as I was about to lose my shit, Maxwell started to come to.

I heard the front door open and Terrance yell “Brody! Brody! Where are you?!”

“Up in the master bedroom” I yelled back. I heard two sets of footsteps comin’ up the steps, as Max was tryin’ to figure out what was goin’ on. Terrance entered the bedroom, went right over to Maxwell, and checked the bump on the back of his head. He used the flashlight on his phone to check his eyes and asked a series of questions like his name and the date, then he asked him to recite the months of the year, then again in reverse order. He made him stand and checked his balance, then checked his reflex’s. Maxwell was stable, alert and answered everythin’ flawlessly, but he was still groggy.

“How did you hit your head, Max?” Terrance asked my blurry husband.

Max answered honestly and without filter as he rubbed the bump on the back of his head, “Brody was fucking me in the shower and I slammed my head against the wall.” I turned bright red as everyone else’s eyes got wide, Max seemed unaffected and unashamed… frankly I don’t think he had a clue what he just said.

Zach did his damnedest not to laugh but his best wasn’t good enough as he laughed out an “oh my god.” Max seemed to be okay, and everyone did their best to be respectful and not laugh… well at least not right then. We would undoubtedly take a lot of shit for it later.

“I’m going to take him to the ER to check him out properly” Terrance said, then explained the plan to Maxwell and asked him the same questions he had asked earlier. We got him dressed and I drove him to the hospital, Terrance jumped in the backseat. Harris went back to their place and Seth and Zach stayed at BroMax Farm to handle things. We still had several hours before the guests were supposed to arrive.

When we got to the hospital, Terrance ushered us to an open exam room. We didn’t have to fill out forms, or wait or nothin’ like that. It was like they were expectin’ us. After a thorough examination Terrance diagnised Max as “havin’ a big as bump on his head.” It didn’t appear to be a concussion, but he told me to keep an eye on him and watch for the signs (which he texted to me). Max had a massive headache and Terrance ordered him to keep hydrated and stay away from alcohol for a bit. By the time we left the hospital Maxwell was almost back to his own self. We dropped Terrance off at their new place on the way home and thanked him a million times... again, thank god for him, I had no clue what to do. “Max, take the Ibuprofen I gave you, ice your bump and keep the injury elevated, drink lots of water, no booze at the party, and stay awake.” Max nodded and we both thanked him again. “We’ll see you guys at the party” Terrance said as he got out of the Gladiator.

“Oh shit” Maxwell moaned, “I forgot about the fucking party. It’s too late to cancel.”

“You can stay upstairs and rest, I’ll handle it” I said as we drove towards the farm, Although I knew there was no way in hell Maxwell was going to miss this party.

Max looked over at me and asked sheepishly “Did I tell everyone you were fucking me in the shower?”

“Yes sir” is all I said with a laugh in my voice and a blush color on my face. We got home about an hour before the party. When we drove up to the house there were a few more cars parked on the grass (exactly where I wanted them to park thanks to Zach). I noticed Ricky’s Chevy, BA’s Chrysler, Dylan’s truck, and Fern’s caterin’ van by the barn.

Seth and Gina came running out of the barn with the dogs chasin’ behind them, opened the passenger door and helped their friend out. “Are you okay?” Seth wanted to know.

I answered “They don’t think it’s a concussion, just a bad bump. No drinkin’ for Maxwell today.” Max rolled his eyes at me. He had been lookin’ so forward to this party.

“I’m fine, but we got so much shit to do” Max said as he rubbed his head.

“It’s all done, all you have to do is take care of yourself” Seth said. “Gina and I cleaned the house, Zach took care of the yard, and Ricky got here early and him and Dylan handled the barn. BA and your Brody’s dad set up the bar, Fern and Sue just got here and took over both kitchens and are getting everything ready.”

\Just then Zach walked up and said with a laugh, “And we didn’t tell anyone else except Gina and Dylan that you got that bump from doing it in the shower” then he hugged Max and made sure he was okay and added, “You scared the shit outta us.” That was an understatement… and I felt guilty as hell.

Seth shook his head at his husband and added “We just told them you slipped in the bathroom.” Me n’ Seth helped Max to the house and up the stairs, not that he needed much help. Other than the giant knot on the back of his noggin, he was doin’ pretty good. Everyone else went back to work while Maxwell and I got dressed, put some ice on his head for a few minutes, then went out to the barn to check everything out. When we walked in, everyone’s focus turned to Max, they were all fawnin’ over him and lovin’ on him.

“I’m okay, I’m okay. I just hit my head.” Max said, then looked around. “Wow, it looks great in here Thank you guys for jumping in!” He was tearing up as he showed his appreciation, our friends rallied around us as always. We both looked around the barn and answered a couple of questions from people about where things were (like serving dishes, etc.) or where we wanted to set things up. Max walked over to the area that Rickey had set up for people to make candles (he kept calling it Sip & Pour). Max looked around, then he surprised me… he hugged Ricky. “You did all this on your own?” he asked.

Ricky lit up “Yup, I found some bags of the old kind of soy wax that you stopped using in the storage room, then I found a bunch of containers left over from when you were pitching the hotels. I figured we could use all that stuff and clear it out of the storage room instead of giving away the good stuff.” Max smiled the entire time Ricky was talking, the kid was smart and looking out for Max’s business. I had to admit, I didn’t like the idea of Maxwell hiring him in the beginnin’, I thought he was just another redneck punk. But he grew on me and earned our trust. Max thanked him about a hundred times, so did I.

“Shit, you guys did all the work” Maxwell said as he looked around. “Bumping my head worked out pretty damn good.” Everyone laughed, as they all headed back to what they were doing. Max helped Ricky finish setting up, and I helped Daddy moved some stuff out of the way of the guests and into the storage room. Fern and Sue were putting food on the counters in the kitchen of the barn, and the others were busying themselves with whatever.

It was almost 4:00, time for the guest to arrive and when I told our friends to stop working and just have fun. Everyone finished up in time to spruce themselves up and get ready for the party. The only ones who kept workin’ were Fern and Sue… of course BA kept buttin’ in to help but Fern and Sue politely pushed he away. The guests started filin’ in. The first ones to show were some of the guys I used to work with at the agency in Wilmington, I got them some drinks and they updated me on everything going on at my old place of work… I missed them, but I didn’t miss my job. In fact, at that moment it hit me how much I loved my new job. As I was socializin’, I was watching Max outta the corner of my eye. A few of the teachers from his school had showed up, including Mrs. J and Principal Simmons, Max was talking with them with Gina by his side as he showed them around the barn, Gina was holding onto his bicep as they walked around. Seth and Zach were talking to Tommy and Darius, I noticed they were keeping an eye on Maxwell too. He seemed to be doing well, but we were all keepin’ an eye on him.

As I was talkin’, a hand touched my shoulder, it was Vince from The Shop in Asheville. He and Cody had spent New Year’s Eve with family a couple of hours from us and decided to drop by on their way home. Maxwell saw them and came runnin’ across the room, I shot him a look that could kill, he needed to take it easy. He got the hint and slowed down. I went and got them a couple of drinks just as Terrance and Harris walked in. Terrance followed me to the bar. “I can’t thank you enough for you help today, Terrance” I said.

“How is he” he asked as he looked towards Maxwell.

“He seems fine, but we’re all watchin’ him.” Terrance and Harris walked over to join the conversation with Maxwell and the others, I saw Terrance subtly check Max’s bump, I also saw him take my husband aside, hold up three fingers and ask him how many it was, then he asked a few other questions… he was testing him. He saw me watchin’ and gave me a thumbs up. Max was in good hands… it was clear I didn’t fuck him to death. Whew!

As the party went on, Ricky had several people engaged in makin’ candles while they sipped their cocktails, they all looked to be havin’ a great time and he was a natural host. I noticed Max was talking to Stella and a few other folks I didn’t recognize; it turns out that several of her clients actually showed up. I was impressed, they lived all over the state, and were all at least forty five minutes away from us, but they took the time to come check us out. I walked over and Max introduced me. I made small talk with them, then made my way across the room of friends and strangers saying hello to everyone as I did… I’m sorry, but I was a damn delight! I mean, hell! I hated social situations, but I put myself out there, talked to everyone, and was makin’ people laugh, I admit it; I was havin’ a good time, but I needed a break from bein’ sociable so I stepped outside.

Dylan, Zach, and Daddy were out in the back playing with the four dawgs. Yup, we had dawgs there cuz’ as fancy as our party was, I was still a redneck at heart and it aint a redneck soiree if ya’ aint got a few dawgs hangin’ ‘round. I hung out with the guys a little longer before headin’ back in to face the social chaos.

Maxwell latched onto me when I walked back into the barn and stayed by my side for the rest of the party. Everyone was genuinely havin’ a good time, including me and bumpy-headed Maxwell. Ricky was hard at work engaging the crowd, they loved him.

It was the end of the evenin’ and everybody was leavin’. Max and I were by the big barn door saying goodnight and happy New Year to everyone and thankin’ them for comin’. Principal Simmons shook my hand goodnight, then turned to Maxwell and said, “This is an amazing operation you’ve built here.” He looked him in the eye and said, “So I guess I’m losing another teacher at the end of the semester.”

Maxwell’s face went pale as he struggled for a response. “I don’t know yet, I’m still thinking on it.”

“Max,” principal Simmons said with a smile. “C’mon, you built a factory in your backyard. This is not just a side hustle.”

“But I love teaching” Max said with sincere eyes, “I’d miss the kids so much.”

“Well, I’ve got some ideas that might help you step back, but stay involved at the same time” Principal Simmons said with a grin. “You interested?”

Maxwell smiled big and said “absolutely.”

“Let’s talk next week” Principal Simmons said with a grin. He had always had Max’s back and it sounded like he might have another plan for him.

It was going to be another great year filled with opportunities.
