Max’s Perspective

The house looked incredible thanks to BA working her ass off cleaning for the last couple of days to get it spotless. “Damn, Red. That chili smells good” BA said as she wiped down the top of the refrigerator and cleaned in places that I had ignored since I moved in.

“So does the Cider” Brody said as he swiftly passed through the kitchen on his way back outside to the yard to finish up his mowing and trimming after a quick bathroom break. It was two weeks before the wedding, and since Dylan and Gina kind of sprung the wedding date and the baby on us, a bachelor and bachelorette party didn’t seem appropriate. So, instead BA and I decided to throw them an all sexes welcome wedding shower. Nothing fancy, just a party at our place with chili, homemade cider, their local friends, and a few gifts (and stupid shower games at BA’s insistence). We had about an hour before the guests invaded our house and I decided to head up and take a shower. Just as I was about to bound up the steps, the doorbell rang. It was Gina’s mom; she had driven up from Wisconsin a couple of days prior and was staying with them until after the wedding.

“I came to help” she said sweetly. We had gotten to know her when she was down for Thanksgiving the year before.

“Hey Honey,” BA said as she came out of the kitchen to see who was there. She promptly tossed her a dust rag “Y’all can give the living room and dining room a final once over… I dusted yesterday, but this old house is a gotdamn dust factory.” Gina’s mom and BA kept working while I went up and got ready.

I was in the shower when the bathroom door opened and Brody stepped in. He was all sweaty and dirty from cleaning up the yard. He stripped naked and got in the shower with me. He wrapped his arms around my soapy body kissing my neck then promptly moved down and making a trail with his tongue from my neck to my ass crack. “Brody, Stop” I whispered. BA and Gina’s mom are downstairs and there’s a shitload of people on their way here” I braced myself against the wall and push my ass back against his face as my mouth protested the welcome invasion. Brody let out a dismissive “uh huh” to let me know he heard me but didn’t care. His tongue hungrily lapped through the little red hairs surrounding my tight hole, and I involuntarily opened uo for him, beckoning the hot, wet, warmth of his tongue.

The words “Damn, Brody” came out with my exhale as I did my damnedest not to scream his name through the halls of the old farmhouse. I continued to push my ass back and moved it in a circular motion silently begging him for more. As he was sucking, slurping, and filling me with ecstasy, he reached around and started to stroke my soapy cock. Goddamn, we were only at it a minute or two and I was ready to blow my Saturday morning load all over the wall. “I’m close” I whispered, and Brody stopped.

He stood up and turned me around so we were face to face and my back against the tile. He poured some shower gel in his hand, then leaned in to kiss me as he grabbed both of our cocks and tightly pulled them together, frotting. The Warmth of his manhood, the tightness of his fist, and the added stimulation of cock-to-cock contact was mind-blowing. I could feel him pulsate against me as he slowly moved his soapy hand up and down our shafts. Oh my god, it was so simple, nothing complicated… just Brody stroking the two of us together, but the sensation was unbelievable. Instead of speeding up his pace, he slowed it down and drove me into a mother. Fucking. Frenzy. My whole body shuddered each time his hand reached the top and rubbed up against my frenulum, damn he knew how to release the beast in me. I was kissing him under the water with unbridled passion, pumping in and out of his hand trying to make him go faster but he was having none of it. Brody was going to make my release, slow and torturously pleasurable. I loved him and hated him for it all at the same time. He continued for as long as I could hold on, then finally sweet release! I almost screamed with pleasure. Luckily, I caught myself and my screams came out as more of a whimper. My powerful, salty ejaculate hit us in our faces, and Brody kept on jacking the two hard cock. The pulsation of his screaming purple rocket against my sensitive, recently spent manhood was too much for Brody to take and he shot his load, his cum harmoniously mixing with mine on our wet bodies.

We were both weak-kneed and panting heavily as we came down from our sexual explosion. We gently washed each other’s bodies and let the water wash the evidence of our lust filled triste down the drain. Once clean, dried, and properly dressed we headed downstairs. Brody looked so damn cute in his tight jeans, red-checked button down, and gray cardigan. Between the chili and the cider, the house DID smell absolutely amazing.

By the time we got downstairs, the house was jumping with activity, several guests had arrived, and BA and Gina’s mom (Peggy) were working hard in the kitchen. After we greeted the people (mostly friends of Dylan’s from the docks), Brody tended to our guests, and I donned an Apron and joined the moms in the kitchen. There wasn’t a lot left to do, It was a simple, redneck fare of chili, chili dogs, chili nachos, homemade pickles, and scratch-made honey/apple pies. Everything made from ingredients grown on the farm.

“Y’all know Grammaw woulda’ loved this.” BA said as she chopped onions to put on the chili dogs and put them in a bowl next to the grated cheddar, sour cream, and oyster crackers on the counter.

“You mean the party?” I asked. Just then Dylan and Gina entered and greeted the moms, but BA kept right on talking.

“Nah, not just the party, but all of it” BA replied. “Brody movin’ back here and fixin’ up the old house, Dylan settlin’ down, You, Gina, a great grandbaby on the way… She woulda’ loved all of it.”

Dylan laughed and joined the conversation, “aw yeah, she’d be damn proud that one of her grandbabies was a flaming queen, and the other one knocked up his girlfriend.” Peggy gave a little bit of a headshake and a “tsk” at that comment.

“Now boy, you know Grammaw never cared ‘bout any a’ that.” BA barked back, a little pissed off at Dylan’s joke. “She wanted her family to be together, her grandbabies to be happy, and this old house to be full of love.” then BA turned in Dylan’s direction, still holding the knife she used to chop the onions “She woulda’ loved this.” Dylan just nodded and went quiet (finally).

“Gina hugged BA” She sounds like an amazing woman; I wish we could’ve met here” Gina mused.

“She woulda’ loved the hell outta you and Red” BA said. “Now get the hell outta the kitchen, it’s your party go enjoy.” Gina went back to the living room which was overflowing with people by then. All of Dylan’s buddies from the dock were there with their wives and girlfriends, most of the teachers from the school were there with their spouses, including the J’s and Principal Simmons and his wife. The only ones noticeably absent were Harris and Terrance. After several minutes of mingling, Peggy came out and tried to pull some people into the dining room and engage them in some annoying Bride and Groom trivia game. She got a bunch of the teachers to participate, but most of the guys kept talking in the living room or migrated out to the porch or back deck. I was on the front porch talking with a bunch of the guys when Terrance’s Porsche Cayenne finally came crunching up the gravel driveway.

I yelled to them as they got out of the vehicle and approached the front porch “Hey guys, where the hell have you been?”

Harris had a huge smile on his face as he ignored my question and joked, “Why don’t you want me as a neighbor, Max?”

I had no clue what he was talking about. “What do you mean?”

“I mean if you really wanted us out here you would’ve told us about the house for sale on your road.” The two of them had been house hunting since before we met them. After they saw our place, they wanted to be out in the country and there wasn’t much for sale. Brody and I would call them whenever we saw a for sale sign go up on one of the back roads.

Brody chimed in and asked, “what house are y’all talkin’ about?”

By now the guys had stepped onto the porch with the rest of us, “the one two driveways down” Terrance answered as he pulled out his phone to show us the listing. Me, Brody, and Dylan leaned in to look.

“That’s the Caruthers place” Dylan said. “I didn’t know she was sellin.’” Dylan and Brody practically grew up in our house and knew all the neighbors. The Caruthers family had lived two doors down since before either of them were born. Two doors down in country terms meant about a half mile away.

Terrance pulled his phone back, “we were on our way here and saw the for sale sign, and they were having an open house, so we stopped in.”

"How the hell did we missed that one?” I asked Brody. We had been diligently watching for signs because we really wanted them to move out by us.

“We never go that way, Maxwell. We always head in the other direction when we leave” Brody was right. The freeway entrance and the closes intersection were all to the north and the Caruthers place was to the south. Heading south just took you deeper into the country.

“Well, it doesn’t matter, because we saw it” Harris said with excitement in his voice. “The realtor told us that Mrs. Caruthers has already moved into a condo down by the water.  Maintaining the house and three acres of land got to be too much for her.”

“It’s a great house, but it needs a lot of updating. It hasn’t been touched in years” Terrance added.

“That’s how this place was when Grammaw left it to Brodes, but lookit her now” Dylan said as he waved his hand around the place. He wasn’t wrong, I loved our house. It was cute with old world charm and all the modern amenities, and the property was alive with gardens, bees, and even a goat.

“We’re making an offer” Terrance added. I screamed with excitement and asked a million questions. They saw the place, went to the open house, then called their realtor and told him they wanted to write an offer. He was meeting them back at the house after the party. Bubba volunteered to go along and take a look at the work they wanted done to give them a rough idea of what the renovations would cost. We invited ourselves too. Not that the wedding and the baby weren’t enough… but now we had something else to celebrate. The rest of the afternoon was fun and our old house was filled with love and laughter. I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Grammaw, but if BA was right and all she wanted her family together and the house to be filled with love… she’d be happy as a pig in shit, because here we were.

After the party we all headed over to the old Caruthers place to look around. It had great bones, but needed a lot of updating and TLC, it reminded me of Grammaw’s house the first time I saw it when I came down for her funeral almost four years prior. They could totally make something of that place. Their realtor showed up and Bubba toured the place and the little outbuilding with them and took notes. Me and Brody decided to head back to our house to clean up from the party and let the four of them get down to business… they made and offer, and after some back and forth sealed the deal and would be closing before the new year.

The next couple of weeks were a blur of preparation for Thanksgiving dinner, the wedding, and of course our first board meeting. Elliot, Zach, and I were on the phone several times prepping for the meeting… technically this was a formality to meet the annual requirements of our corporation status, but I saw it as an opportunity. It was a chance for me to bounce ideas off my friends and really examine my business and it’s potential. By the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving, I was ready for one of the busiest weekends of my life. A house full of guests for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, The board meeting and rehearsal on Friday, and the wedding on Saturday (FYI I planned on sleeping on Sunday).

I bought a turkey from the same local farmer that I had the year before and was getting the bird ready to brine. I was in the kitchen playing 90’s music and singing to myself while Zoey sat in the corner licking his balls (that was kind of his thing lately). Suddenly, Brody burst through the front door and yelled “We’re Home, Maxwell!” He had gone to the airport to pick up Seth, Zach, Cam, and Elliot. The house went from quiet to chaos in seconds… I fucking loved it! Seth put on an apron, Zach and Cam grabbed beers out of the fridge and Elliot started to rant about some things that needed my approval before he presented our finances at the meeting. After about another half hour in the kitchen, Seth and Cam took over cooking, and me and Brody grabbed Elliot and Zach and led them out to the barn.

The construction was finished for the most part, just some details stuff left to do. We had shut down production for the next couple of weeks so Bubba and his crew could finish up. He still had three of the four candle pouring stations to build, they were big, solid, heavy-as-fuck tables that would be bolted to the floor. The one that was finished was set up like a conference table for our meeting and we had picked up a bunch of cheap barstools at target to set around it. The kitchen still needed some final touches, but the bathroom was complete. He had even put the French doors on Brody’s studio so he could shut out the noise below. The big, granite island between the kitchen and the pouring area was set up with wax melters. We had the two smaller ones that I used when this was a still a hobby, and two commercial-sized units (we bought a second when we got the contract from Jordan).

“Holy shit” laughed Zach. “This is legit!” He was right, the barn was no longer a barn, it was a legitimate candle factory, and I was damn proud of it. We showed the guys around before the four of us sat down to talk business… they were impressed.

Zach showed us the breakdown of stock shares and had stock certificates ready for us to sign so he could pass them out at the meeting. He had worked with his father to make sure everything was done right. “I want to make sure I got it all correct” he said. “We have 100 total shares and have set fifteen aside for distribution at your discretion; you two will retain 85% ownership, so basically the board will have a say, but you are the ultimate decision makers.” He explained as he leafed through the papers he had brought with him. “2 shares each to Gina, Elliot, Dylan, Seth, and me, and 5 shares in reserve for future distribution as you see fit.” He had it right. We put the corporation in both of our names, Brody wanted me to do it on my own but that didn’t seem right… the house and every other asset we owned were in both of our names so why not the business. It could get messy as shit if we ever got divorced, but I honestly didn’t see that happening (but then again, I assume most divorced couples felt the same way in the beginning). After Zach went through all the legal stuff and we signed, Elliot took us through the finances.

“Okay, the financials for this year are going to look a little grim with start-up costs, and everything else” Elliot explained, “I’ve set it up so that the corporation is renting the barn from you guys, and we’re writing off the renovations as upfit costs.” Elliot knew what he was doing… hell so did Zach. These guys were setting us up right. “So, we’re showing a loss for this year and probably next too. But if you pull out the start-up and construction costs, it’s actually pretty damn profitable for a fledgling business.” After those two went through what they had prepared, I took them through my projections for the next year, then we went through the meeting agenda. It was going to be four hours. I’d welcome everyone and give them the overview, Elliot would present financials, then Stella would come to talk about expansion opportunities for regional sales, Ricky would talk about production capacity (I could’ve totally handled both of those parts, but I wanted the board to meet my team), and Zach would close with votes on a couple of issues, and distribution of stock certificates. After that we’d do a brainstorming session to come up with ideas for revenue and moving the company forward. We spent about an hour in the barn getting things together, then we all put away our file folders and laptops and put business aside until Friday morning. Enough business talk for now, it was Thanksgiving on BroMax farm and I had a house full of friends!

When I got back to the kitchen, Seth and Cam had everything under control. Zoey was in heaven sitting at Cam’s feet while Cam kept “accidentally” dropping scraps on the floor. Seth had completely changed my menu… he turned my potatoes and green beans into something completely different than I had planned. I didn’t care, he was the better cook of the two of us. “Damn, I love this kitchen, and all the homegrown spices” he said as he continued to create culinary greatness. Brody took Zach and Elliot out to visit Jimmy and see the beehives while I stayed in the kitchen with my old college suitemates and caught up. “So are Eric and Hunter coming for Thanksgiving?” Seth asked casually as he continued to cook.

“Nope. They’ve got a family thing, but they’re flying in Friday afternoon for the wedding.” I replied “But Darius and Tommy will be here along with our new friends Harris and Terrance and the family, including Gina’s mom. So, we’ll have a full house.” Then we talked about how Darius and Tommy were doing, and I told them about our soon-to-be new neighbors Harris and Terrance. Then Seth told us about everything going on with him and his family (including his brother Eli having a long distance relationship with Zach's sister Riley), and Cam talked about Elliot, their new house, and things back in Milwaukee. Goddammit I had missed my friends.

Cam finally brought up the elephant in the room “So, is Teddy coming to the wedding?” Teddy and Gina had dated for a couple of years. He was part of our group, but also the bride’s ex.

“I don’t know”” I answered honestly. “Dylan was fine with inviting him, but Gina felt weird about it. I know she addressed an invite for him but didn’t mail it with the others. She was carrying it around in her purse and I have no clue what she finally decided.”

“Ha… straight people” Cam said as he smacked me and Seth both on the ass making us laugh. “That’s the thing about gay guys, we can all date, have wild sex, whatever, then be friends.” Cam was Seth’s first boyfriend, and as y’all know I was in a throuple relationship with Cam and Eric for several months in college… and there we were all in great relationships and still the best of friends.

For the rest of the afternoon, we cooked and laughed and hung out. At the end of the day, Gina and Brody came over and we ordered pizza. Ricky got to meet my friends when he delivered our order… he was non-plussed by the introductions, but a drunk Cam was being his old flirtations self until Brody tactfully brought up the fact that Ricky was going to turn 18 soon (jailbait). Cam got the hint and Ricky left with a gigantic tip.

I was in my home, surrounded by old friends and happy as hell!
