The Rolls purred up the sweeping drive stopping in perfect position at the hotel entrance. People stopped and stared at the arrestingly attractive chauffeur who exited the drivers door and walked round the gleaming, immaculate vehicle to open the near side rear door to allow his passengers to alight. Toby had insisted that Marvin take Pete and Mike to the hotel the school reunion was being held at in the Rolls. He was very conscious that Pete did not want to go and that the only reason he had agreed to was because Jason was the event organiser and had written to him personally asking him to attend. It had taken the combined influence and encouragement of himself, Liz, Marvin and Mike to finally talk Pete round, and Toby knew that the slightest upset would send him scurrying for home. Insisting that Marvin take them in his brand new Rolls Royce and that he be allowed to book the ‘Presidents Suite’ for them at the hotel had been Toby’s way of boosting Pete’s confidence. Everyone at the reunion would see him for what he was now, not as he had been when at school. So when Marvin opened the door and Pete and Mike stepped out of the car, anyone looking saw two thirty-something, very well dressed and groomed men who carried a natural air of authority and success with them. They were also an astonishingly attractive couple, and it was obvious from the way they interacted with each other that they were a couple, from the looks they gave each other, to the intimate unselfconscious way they would touch and smile at and with each other. A blind man could see that they were very much in love. As they made their way to reception, Marvin organised a porter and their luggage. He was also staying at the hotel in a suite adjacent to theirs.

‘Good afternoon Gentlemen, welcome to the Farmers Glory Hotel.’

Mike took the lead. ‘Good afternoon. You have a suite for us. Name of Burton and Barnard.’

‘Of course Mr ahhh?’

‘Burton,’ Mike then put his arm around Pete’s waist and pulled him close, ‘and this is Mr Barnard.’

‘A pleasure to meet you both. You have the Presidents Suite gentlemen, if you could both just sign in please.’ As Mike completed his paperwork, Pete took a moment to look around. He saw no one he recognised and wondered if anyone was looking at him who he had shared classrooms with during his unhappy childhood. He was surprised at how calm and in control of himself he felt. He knew that a lot of his confidence came from having Mike and Marvin with him, but he also knew that he was no longer haunted by his past, and that the demons and ghosts that had dogged his steps for so long had been put to rest thanks to the love and support of his new family. He was brought back to the present by Mike giving him a playful elbow in the ribs.

‘Wake up babe, you need to sign in.’

The suite was what they expected. Clinically clean, it looked like a film set with big expensive furniture in the lounge area, muted colours through out, an enormous bedroom with the biggest bed the boys had ever seen and a marble clad bathroom, one entire end of which was wall to wall, floor to ceiling shower nozzles. It was all very plush and both were glad they would only be there for the one night. The Porter deposited their bags, showed them where everything was and how things worked and after receiving a generous tip, left them to settle in taking their dinner suits and shirts to be pressed after being creased by the journey up.

Mike ran across the lounge into the bedroom and jumped onto the middle of the bed, ‘Wheeeeeeeee.’ Pete casually followed him and nonchalantly leaned against the doorframe. ‘This bed is awesome Pete. It’s a fucking aircraft carrier.’ He layback and kicked his shoes off, then bounced onto his knees. Assuming a sultry, come hither pose, or at least what approximated for one, he held his arm out to Pete and beckoned him towards the bed. ‘Come over here sexy and be naked by the time you get here.’ Pete smiled and began to walk towards the bed. Removing his jacket he let it fall to the floor, then his skin tight t-shirt. Mike’s eyes drank in the y-shaped torso, the solid pecs with their proud erect nipples, the washboard abs. No matter how many times he saw his partner’s body he was still entranced by it. Pete was so unaffected by his own beauty that it was impossible for anyone to be envious of it. Mike watched, his breathing becoming faster, his heart beating louder, as Pete removed the belt from his hipster jeans, popped the buttons on the fly, slowly, teasingly pushed them down. Mike gasped involuntarily as he realised his lover wore no underwear. His trimmed bush came into view, then, a flash of chrome as the heavy cock ring nestling at the base of the thick root of Pete’s cock appeared. Over the pert, round, muscles of his perfect backside, then on down the strong thighs, covered in fine blonde hairs. He pushed his shoes off, then when his jeans fell to the floor at his feet he stepped out of them and discarded his socks.

Mike stood on the bed and stripped himself of his clothes as fast as he could. No sensual striptease for him. Once naked he took a step towards Pete. ‘No.’ Pete held his arm out, his hand raised, palm towards his man. ‘No touching.’

‘Oh fuck…’ Mike loved this game. They both did. The rules were simple. Neither was allowed to touch the other, and whoever instigated the game controlled the game. So today Pete was the boss. Everything Pete did, Mike had to mirror every touch, rub, pinch, stroke. Mike had no free will. He wouldn’t cum until Pete came.

‘Off the bed and stand there.’ The two now stood less than two feet apart. They could feel each other’s heat, smell each other’s sex. Pete ran his hands over his chest, down his abs to the root of his cock. Mike followed his lead, his eyes never leaving Pete’s body. He moaned when he saw how big, hard and veined his lovers dick was thanks to the constriction of the cock ring. A bead of pre-cum hung from its eye. ‘You want to taste it?’ Mike nodded, pleaded with his eyes. ‘Take it.’ Mike couldn’t believe his ears. He reached out, extended a finger, caught the few-drop and brought it to his mouth. His senses were so heightened, the taste exploded on his tongue. He felt his own cock twitch and tingle. He looked down. A rope of cum hung from the end of his quivering dick, he watched as it slowly stretched to the floor. He looked back at Pete who now ran his fingers up and down the shaft of his penis. Mike matched his actions, feeling himself closer to climax than he would have thought possible in so short a time. No one had ever turned him on the way Pete did. It was as if a switch was flicked and ‘click’ he was firing on all cylinders, hormones racing, his entire being wanting, needing to love and worship the man before him. Now, he copied Pete as he wrapped his fist around his fuck stick and began to pump it back and forth. ‘You want this Mike? You want my cock?’ Mike’s groan was almost a whimper. Pete had never been dominant with him before. It excited him, but also humiliated him. ‘On your knees Mike. Now.’ My god, thought Mike, he’s changing the rules. But he didn’t argue, he sank to his knees, furiously pulling at his cock. Pete continued to stroke his rigid pole, not quite believing how hard and thick he was. His balls ached. There was pain mixed with pleasure. Pain became pleasure. Looking down at Mike, subjugating himself before him, he was surprised as the thrill he felt in this simple act of domination. He felt himself edging towards his own climax. He felt the pressure of his cum travelling down the length of his dick to literally leap from the end. Rope after rope flew out covering the kneeling Mike. His face, hair, neck ], chest and shoulders were liberally coated in Pete’s hot thick juice. As the first string hit his face and entered his mouth, Mike cried out and reached his own crescendo, splattering Pete’s legs and groin with his precious fluid.

Pete knelt down and kissed Mike then licked his cum from his face, sharing it with him. ‘Shall we have a shower and then a couple of hours rest before we get ready?’

‘Mmm. We’d better check on Marvin as well. I’ll phone him.’

Later, after they had showered and quietly cuddled and played for and hour or so they were dressing for the reunion dinner. Pete’s nerves began to surface and he again found himself wondering if he would recognise anyone and how he would feel when and if he was confronted by any of the bullies who had made his time at school so awful. Mike picked up on his subdued mood.

‘You okay babe?’ He wrapped his arms round his waist and hugged him close. ‘We can stay here if you’d prefer.’

‘No, I’ll be fine.’ Pete stood tall, proud. A look of determination stole across his face and his eyes became steel blue, the same steel blue awkward clients saw when they were passing him off and he’d had enough of them. ‘I’m not that kid anymore Mike.’ The dazzling smile Mike had fallen in love with lit up his face. ‘Fuck ‘em. You ready? Let’s go show the cunts.’ He took Mike’s hand in his, kissed his lips and walked him out of their room to the lift.

The lift doors opened directly onto the hotels main foyer where attendees of the reunion had been asked to gather at seven thirty. Over two hundred and fifty people were assembled in the foyer and Pete and Mike arrived ten minutes late, they were sharing a reassuring kiss as the lift doors opened and their slight embarrassment wasn’t helped when the first thing they heard was Marvin, ‘Will you two either pack it in or go back to your room and come back down when you’ve finished.’ Like them, Marvin was dressed in one of Joseph’s beautifully styled and crafted dinner suits. As the three of them walked through the foyer to the bar it was as though a sea opened before them to allow them passage. People stopped what they were doing, conversations ceased as heads turned to watch the perfect specimens of manhood stride confidently through the crowd. Most of the women and some of the men wanted at least one of them, most of the men wanted to be them. A few recognised Pete and by the time they had been served with their drinks everyone in the room knew who he was. The general hubbub resumed and the three men moved to a corner of the room where they could observe their fellow guests.

Pete felt that he was being watched but couldn’t see who it was. Mike spotted the culprit. A tall, slim woman with shoulder length hair and glasses, wearing an elegant off the shoulder white evening dress was looking directly at their group. ‘Who’s that Pete? The striking looking lady in white.’

It took a few moments for him to dredge his memory then the white lady flicked her hair back with a gesture that took him back to sixth form. ‘Diane.’ He whispered, then more loudly than he had intended, ‘Diane Whitley.’ Mike watched as his face lit up with that smile and he walked purposefully across the room to embrace the white lady in a hug that was happily returned. Pete picked Diane up and swung her around in a pirouette, the pair of them laughing with joy. Returning her to the ground he held her hands in his. ‘Di, you look gorgeous. It’s only seeing you I realised I’ve missed you. Is Hazel here? And what about Janet and Wendy?’

Diane laughed and squeezed his hands, ‘You haven’t changed have you? Still so many questions, still impatient. Yes they’re all here somewhere and they’re all dying to see you.’ She leaned forward and kissed his cheek. ‘Pete you look great, no need to ask how you are is there?’

‘I’m good Di. Really good.’ They looked at each other with an understanding that old trusted friends have. ‘I wouldn’t have come if I wasn’t.’ Pete gently pulled her toward Mike and Marvin, ‘Please let me introduce you to my partner Mike and our close friend Marvin. Guys this is Diane, one of the best friends a frightened schoolboy ever had.’

The evening progressed happily for all three of them. Pete met some of his old friends, many of whom he had completely forgotten about due to the misfortunes of the past ten years or so. Old tales were told, memories stirred, friendships rekindled. Mike enjoyed seeing his loved one so relaxed and happy and Marvin breathed a sigh of relief but remained sober and kept his wits about him on the look out for any potential trouble, which given the history of Pete’s school day’s inevitably reared its head.

Everyone had moved through to one of the hotels function rooms where dinner was to be served and the meal was coming to a close when Pete needed to visit the gents. Standing at the urinal, minding his own business, he paid no attention to the two men who came and stood either side of him. As he was fastening his fly, the man on his left stepped behind him and pinned his arms behind his back then turned him to face the man on his left. ‘Remember us Pete?’ The face was red and blotchy, obviously the worse for drink. The body, once athletic and muscular was now fat and gross.

‘Yes, I remember you Gordon. I’m guessing it’s Neil behind me?’

‘Yeah,’ came a grunt in his ear.

‘Looks like you’ve done well for yourself. Posh car, posh suit, fancy boyfriend.’

‘What do you want Gordon?’ Pete was calm. He wasn’t the boy they remembered.

‘We had an arrangement didn’t we pretty boy? Remember?’

‘And what arrangement would that be? Oh yes, you threaten me, I give you a blowjob.’

‘That’s the one.’ Gordon smiled lecherously and rubbed his groin obscenely.

‘That’s not going to happen Gordon, and if your mate doesn’t let go of my arms he’s going to be very sorry.’

‘Yeah? What you going to do Poof? Eh? Hit him with your handbag?’ The two drunken louts laughed at the so called witticism.

‘No, but I will break his arm.’ Pete remained calm, his voice steady and controlled. For the first time since their confrontation began Gordon began to feel uneasy. Pete was showing no fear. His confidence was concerning and even as drunk as he was the alarm bells in his head were making him nervous.

‘And if he doesn’t I’ll break both your fuckin necks. So let him go and get the fuck out while you can still walk ya couple of fuckin cunts.’ Marvin’s menacing growl filled the room. Gordon had the good sense to know when to withdraw, Neil on the other hand decided he wasn’t going to be pushed around.

‘Fuck off ya fuckin Nancy boy. I’m not scared of a bloody poof.’ He drawled. Pete had had enough. Using some of the self defence techniques he had learned from and subsequently practised every week with Marvin, he deftly extracted himself from the arm lock Neil was holding him in, threw his aggressor to the floor and as promised swiftly and easily snapped a bone in Neil’s arm. Neil promptly passed out due to the pain. Gordon stood flat against the wall with his mouth open. Pete walked over to him, took a handful of his hair in his hand and slammed his head back. There was a solid ‘thump’ as it hit the wall. ‘You and your mate need to go home and leave all these decent people to enjoy the rest of the night. Got that?’ Gordon nodded. ‘If you don’t I will become your worst nightmare. Understand?’

‘Yyyeess.’

‘Now I’m going to explain to your and Neils wife what just happened in here and why they are going home. Okay.’

‘NO. Please no. Pete I’m begging you. Please.’ Pete released his hold on Gordon’s hair. Marvin came over and put his hand on his shoulder.

‘Just let the scum go mate. It’s over.’

Suddenly the door opened and Mike walked in, ‘What’s keeping you…….. what the fuck is going on?’

‘Pete was just catching up with a couple of his old mates Mike. We were just coming.’ Mike knew Marvin wasn’t telling him the truth but also knew he would be told chapter and verse later. ‘Why don’t you take Pete outside for a few minutes, let him get some fresh air.’ Mike and Pete left the toilet, Marvin moved close to Gordon, his face inches from the terrified bully. ‘Pete’s my mate and I’m a cunt. If you or your mates come near him whilst he’s here it’ll be me you deal with, and it won’t end nice. Understand?’ Gordon barely nodded he was so scared of the quietly intimidating man. ‘Good boy.’ Marvin slapped his face, then turned and left the room.

Outside, Pete was telling Mike what had happened. He was making the incident sound like something out of a Carry On film and they were enjoying a laugh at the expense of the would be bullies. Mike stood behind Pete with his arms around him. Between laughter he was kissing and licking his neck and ears. People passing smiled seeing two happy lovers, those who remembered the lonely school boy from years before were pleased to see he had become a confident, self assured man who was obviously much in love. Even the figure watching from the shadows was happy for him as his heart ached and he fought back the tears that threatened to engulf him. His boy had grown into a beautiful man. He longed to go to him, to hold him. He heard movement beside him as someone walked up to him. He relaxed, it was Diane. He lay her arm over his shoulder and hugged him, kissing his forehead. ‘He looks well doesn’t he Jay?’ Jason nodded, not trusting himself to speak. ‘And his partners a nice guy.’ Again, he nodded. ‘Have you spoken to him yet?’

‘No.’ He croaked.

‘Does he even know you’re here?’

‘Doubt it.’ As they watched the handsome pair Mike responded to a summons from Marvin leaving Pete alone. ‘Well now’s your chance. Take it and go and talk to him Jason. Now.’ Diane decided that being forceful was the only way that she might get Jason to respond. She put her hand on the small of his back and gently pushed. He stumbled forward knocking a potted plant over. As it clattered to the ground Pete spun round.

‘Is someone there?’ He peered into the darkness, then made out a human form. ‘Who’s that?’ The stumbling, hesitant person moved into light. ‘Jason!’

‘Hello.’ Without thought or hesitation, Pete strode over to his one time protector, put his arms around him and pulled him into a warm, loving embrace. At first Jason resisted, but as soon as the familiar smell registered with his brain his resolve was gone and he allowed himself to be swallowed by Pete’s love. Years of loss and pain flooded to the surface and unable to control it , he began to cry. Toby and Pete had often talked of Jason and the direction his life had taken. Pete had asked if Toby could keep an eye on his old friend, and he had. As a result, he knew more about the heartbreak and sadness present in Jason’s life than he could ever admit to, and that his absence from that life had made a huge contribution to Jason’s unhappiness. So when he felt his friend begin to cry he wasn’t surprised.

‘It’s okay Jay. I can help you now, if you want me to. If you’ll let me.’ He held him tenderly, rocking him from side to side, talking quietly to him, reassuring him that he wasn’t on his own , that there was a family waiting for him if he wanted it. There was a bench a few feet away, Pete led Jason over to it and they sat down. He kept hold of the distraught man, kept telling him he was there to help him. Slowly Jason became calm and his tears stopped. ‘Do you want to talk tonight or in the morning?’

Jason thought for a few moments. ‘Probably both,’ he laughed. His response defused the tension that had been building between them since Jason had regained control of himself. They sat in awkward silence neither knowing how to begin a conversation they had both had in their heads hundreds if not thousands of times. It was Jason who broke the stalemate. ‘Your partner seems nice.’ It was an inane statement, but it broke the ice.

‘Yes. We’re getting married.’ He’d said it without thinking, realising as it left his lips that it would be a knife in Jason’s guts. ‘Sorry, I didn’t …’

‘It’s okay Pete. I know you’ve moved on. I didn’t give you any option really did I?’ He sat looking at his hands. Lost and alone.

‘Why did you run away Jay, why did you leave me behind?’ There it was. The question he had wanted to ask for over ten years. Why had the first man he had trusted betrayed him? ‘You just left me there, no explanation, nothing. Then you were ill and no one would tell me what was wrong. I couldn’t see you. They wouldn’t let me speak to you. What did I do? For fucks sake Jay I loved you and you just fuckin dumped me like a bag of shit. Why?’ Pete hadn’t raised his voice once. He didn’t plead or wail. He spoke calmly and clearly, the only time emotion showed was in the last sentence. He sat forward now, poised on the edge of the bench looking expectantly at Jason for the answer he had waited so long for.

Jason turned to face him and when Pete saw his face, his eyes, the shock of the depth of pain he saw there forced him to sit further back, to give his friend some space. He could see that Jason was struggling with an inner turmoil. He looked at him questioningly, willing him to find the strength to be honest. ‘Tell me the truth Jason. It can’t cause any more hurt than it has.’

‘No, I don’t suppose it can.’ Jason’s whole body sagged. He seemed to shrink in front of him. A look of resignation settled on the once strong, confident man. It was instinct for Pete to reach out and take his hand. Jason stared down at the entwined fingers. ‘I used to dream about sitting in a park holding your hand. I used to wish it didn’t matter what I was, that the world didn’t care.’ He looked up at Pete’s face, ‘ I used to pray that you’d come back and get me.’ He looked back at their hands again. Every night when I go to bed I whisper goodnight to you. I celebrate your birthday every year. I’ve even got an old photo of you by my bed. Remember that t-shirt you gave me? It’s under my pillow every night. It’s the closest I can get to you. And nobody knows Pete, nobody except Alice.’

Pete was numb. The obvious intensity of the love Jason still had for him frightened him and he had no idea how to respond. Then, from the darkness, a familiar voice came to his rescue.

‘He’s an easy man to love isn’t he Jason? Took me about an hour to fall for him.’ Mike walked out of the night, crossed to Jason, stood beside him and put his hand on his shoulder. ‘He couldn’t tell you Pete because his family would’ve thrown him out, or worse. You were kids. What could he do? So he lived a lie and he’s paid for it ever since.’

‘I never thought…..’ Pete moved close to Jason brought his hand to his lips and kissed it. He reached out and gently stroked the cheek of the broken man in front of him. ‘I didn’t know Jay. I really didn’t know.’

Jason caught the hand on his cheek and kissed its palm. He held it to the side of his face, his eyes closed. ‘You were excited. You’d escaped. I couldn’t spoil that for you.’

‘Oh Jay, you fuckin idiot.’ Pete sobbed. Mike stood back as the two old friends held each other close and cried for lost years and love. At that moment, he loved his man more than ever and silently swore to himself that he would spend the rest of their lives together making him as happy as possible. As the two reunited friends relaxed and allowed the present to resume its hold on their lives, Mike quietly but firmly placed both his hands on Pete’s shoulders, squeezing gently he leaned down and kissed his neck.

‘You okay babe?’ Pete nodded then turned his head and tenderly kissed Mike’s mouth. Jason watched the intimate and powerful love between the two and it brought a smile to his face. He felt strange. ‘You alright Jason?’ Mike had noticed a change in Jason’s demeanour.

‘Yes.’ He paused, looked at them and smiled again. ‘Yes I think I am. I need to think for a while. Probably need to talk to Alice.’ He stood and started to walk away, then stopped and turned back to them. ‘I love you Peter Barnard. I think I always have and I probably always will. If you both will allow it I would like to be your friend, be a part of your life. I have missed you Pete, and I don’t want to miss you anymore.’

Pete produced one of his beaming smiles, the one that both Mike and Jason had fallen in love with. ‘I think we could cope with that couldn’t we Mike? I think we could cope with that very easily.’

The end
