The voice of the Master Beadle rang loud and clear across the Triskelion Hangar Deck as he shouted the ancient slogan that signaled the start of Convocation. Although he stood on the Triskelion Altar at the midpoint of the Hangar Deck colonnades of telescreens repeated his image and voice all the way to the Loading Bays at the opposite ends of the kilometer-long Hangars.

Between the Triskelion Altar and the Loading Bays the long rows of Beadles lining both sides of the Hangars made an imposing display of Faggot Masculinity. Their uniforms, originally designed for an ancient law enforcement agency called the State Police of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, had a long historical association with the mystique of Homoerotic Masculine Fascism that had led the Founding Fathers to adopt it as the uniform of the Corps of Beadles.

Half a kilometer from the Triskelion Altar, at the Assembly Point of Red Hangar, the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Legion of Jocks stood at attention flanked by his Wingmen. The Wingmen spread out behind him in V formation, first his Aiguillets, then his Epaulettiers, then his Trumpets, and lastly his Heralds, who held the Banners of the Legion high in the air. The Herald Sinister held the Corps motto “USMC” and the Herald Dexter held the Legion motto “EXCELSIOR”, the gold letters standing out brightly against the Jock Red background of the banners. Behind the Wingmen the platoons of red-clad Jock Centurions stood assembled on the Loading Bay elevators.

A similar scene displayed itself at the Assembly Point of Blue Hangar, this time with the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Legion of Grunts and his Wingmen and Centurions. Here Grunt Blue was the salient color of the uniforms, and the Banners bore the Corps motto “USMC” and the Legion motto “SEMPER FI” in gold letters against a Grunt Blue background.

At the Assembly Point of Green Hangar, the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Legion of Nerds and his Wingmen and Centurions completed the Triskelion Assembly, with Nerd Green and the Nerd motto “MENS ET MANUS” taking pride of place.
