Teens and Twinks Review

Teen and Twinks has made a couple big changes - most notable is that they recently joined the Carnal Plus network of 14 sites and over 3,200 videos, so we've got some catching up to do. Join me while I log and see what's happening here now.

Teens and Twinks features mostly 18- to 22-year-old European guys, amateurs with names like Spark, Evan, Anton, and Tolik. These are regular guy next-door types, maybe your neighbor, the guy who cuts your grass, your student, or the waiter bringing you coffee in the morning. There are cute guys who are boyish and look like they'd be a lot of fun, plenty of average types, some jocks with defined athletic bodies, and some models have a bad-boy look. There's the odd performer with long hair, and there are a handful of emo types, but for the most part these are just regular horny guys with smooth, slender bodies and stiff cocks. And since these are mostly Euro boys from Russia and the Czech Republic, there are heaps of uncut cocks.

Teens and Twinks offers 116 videos in streaming MP4 format. They play in an adaptive player at 960x540, but the player automatically resizes to fit smaller screens. There are three speeds available and each improves the picture quality but does not change the video size. I found that the older vids play smaller at 676x508 and lacked sharpness, but they're still enjoyable. The videos all played well on my mobiles, and in some cases even looked better than on my large desktop monitor. Each video comes with a good-sized set of screencaps. There are around 20 decent quality pics displaying at 1000x563 to 671x513, depending on the age of the scene and they're average quality at best with pixelation.

There are 193 photo galleries featuring good amateur quality digital stills of the guys both clothed and naked, but stop short of including the actual jerking off; that's what the videos are for. The photos are offered between 768x1024 to 960x1280, but there may be other sizes. There are about 100 pictures per set, but I found a lot of similar poses. There are a lot more photo sets than videos, partly because some twinks appear in more than one photo shoot, and partly because there are some hardcore pic sets available that don't have corresponding videos. There's a hands-free slideshow as well as forward and back controls. The pics can be saved individually or you can download whole sets in zip files. 

Let's talk about some big changes that have happened with TeensAndTwinks. The site moved into the Carnal Plus network, which includes 14 sites, and the exciting news is that you get full access to six exclusive sites and each adds new content every other week. The other big change is that the last time we reviewed TeensAndTwinks, downloads were included, but now the network is streaming only. Downloads are available, but you'll need to add a paid monthly upgrade. As well, there used to be a series of third-party video plug-ins with over 2,000 videos, but these were removed and replaced with full access to the 14 Carnal Plus sites, which offers much better content.

Now let's talk about issues. Teens and Twinks no longer updates, but eight other sites in the Carnal Plus network do. There's a pre-checked email subscription on the join page and a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but you can uncheck both easily enough. Even if you do uncheck the email offer, the site terms state that by joining, you agree to receive commercial emails. You'll and on a full-page ad when logging in; to get to the members area, just click the x in the upper right corner. Also, I would have been happier with profiles or descriptions of the guys in their bios, and the videos could have been a lot more crisp, but it's worth mention that both are standard fare with the six exclusive sites now included in Carnal Plus.

Not really an issue, but something to discuss is navigation. It's a little complicated, but it makes sense after you run through it a couple of times. Under Videos on the navbar, you'll find All Videos, and this displays all network videos whether they come from one of the exclusive or bonus sites. At the top of the page is a dropdown where you can sort the videos by site. The same holds true for the Models and Photo sections. The Sites section offers you a look at each of the sites in the network, but doesn't easily offer you a way into each site's entire video inventory, you'll use the Videos selection for that.
