Project Eros Review

Project Eros is a brand new site from Austin Wilde, gay porn star and creator of Guys In Sweatpants. This is his passion project, two years in the making. Its art house and other-worldly exploration of lustful physical attraction between its men is a complete departure from what we're used to seeing in gay porn. I've watched a few scenes, and they are good and I can't wait to see them all, but this review isn't going to write itself, so let's get logged into this provocative and creative site and see what's on offer.

Many of the models here have appeared on Guys in Sweatpants, guys like Joey Dane, Vinny Blackwood, and real-life lovers Carter Collins and Oliver Marks. But there are others like Luca Ferreria, Pierce Deep, Axel Strom, Ander Wolfson, and Drake Von with whom Wilde hasn't worked; as well, there are a few single-name guys. Many of the performers wear masks, bandanas, and balaclavas, and while some take them off part way through the scenes, others don't. The guys appear to be in their twenties with hard, gym-fit smooth bodies, some with tattoos, and a couple with a lot of ink.

Site creator Austin Wilde appears in the first video called "The Service Boy", which opens with a masked and nearly naked Axel Storm rubbing his fuck hole. Let's talk about the filming style, because it's pretty unique and not very often seen in gay porn. Almost all of the videos feature heavy mood lighting to simulate nighttime sex scenes, but they're lit well enough that we have no trouble seeing the guys, their sexy bodies, and the horny passion they have for one another. There's often music during the opening scenes that is reminiscent of music videos and not cheesy porn music. Most of the men are masked through at least some of the video, but not all are, and many remove their masks halfway through the video. This forces us to focus on the passionate and carnal sex rather than the men's faces and it sure adds to the excitement.

"In Her Creation" stars Joey Dane and Vinny Blackwood. It opens with Joey lying back in his tent, face wrapped in a bandana, and the sounds of frogs and crickets making their night-time noises. Joey strips and gets his dick hard; we watch him masturbating as if we're spying on him. Then suddenly, without explanation, Joey is riding Vinny Blackwood's cock. Project Eros officially launched in November of 2024 with 12 videos, and before production stopped in April 2025, it had grown to 25 videos, including three solos and twenty-two duos. The downloadable videos are available in MP4 format in four sizes: 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. They're very good quality videos, and they played well on my large desktop or cell phone. You can stream them in a player that resizes them automatically to fit your device. There's a full-screen option, and the highest resolution versions fare well.

There's a gallery of 24 to 50 photos each episode's video page. These are large, good quality screencaps sized at 1920x1080. You can save them one at a time or download whole sets in zip files. You can browse the pictures using forward and back controls or sit back and watch them all in a hands-free slideshow.

ProjectEros originally updated twice a month on the 15th and 30th, but updates stopped in April 2025 and production has since ended.

There are a few other things worth mentioning. There's a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but it's easy enough to opt out. The site terms say that your email address may be used to "generate special offers and advertisements", but they don't mention if those advertisements will be emailed to you or appear on the site. While each model has a profile page, there's no bio or stats available, just a link to their videos on the site. Also missing is an About page that could have given us a bit more insight about what the site is about or how this passion project came to be. Eros was the Greek god of carnal love. Is that where the site gets its name? We can't know as there's no real back story for the site.

Project Eros is off to a great start, featuring some very hot studs with athletic or muscular bodies. The sex and chemistry are a huge turn-on to watch, and the filming style really heightens the sexual excitement. No pizza boys delivering food to moneyless men here, nor will you hear an endless parade of “fuck yeahs” — these scenarios are daring, provocative, and genuinely compelling to watch. I enjoyed this new site immensely. There are 25 videos to download, stream and watch on your mobiles, and while I enjoyed the videos so much I wish they were coming more often, the site has now stopped updating and production has ended — so what’s there now is all we’re going to get.
