POV Gay is a brand new site from the operators of VR gay porn site Virtual Real Gay. This new one hit our radar in late April and I have to say that I quite liked it. Love it actually. I haven't necessarily been a fan of POV (point of view) filming, but I haven't disliked it either. This site, however, takes things to a whole other level offering us all kinds of variety, so we're not just watching a bottom sucking and fucking a cock in video after video. This site gives us multiple titillating points of views and the design and layout is slick, not to mention that the men are hot. There's a good number of videos for a new site, so let's head over and look around. 

The men are awfully sexy, a veritable whose who in the gay porn world, and they're a mix of Americans and Europeans. You'll find twinks like Andy Ford, James Silver, and David Luca, all cute guys with trim bodies. Jocks or other studs like Bastian Karim, Jeremy Robbins, Manuel Reyes, guys with athletic bodies. Daddies like Justin Jett, Nik Fros, Alex Brand, John Brachalli, Jose Quevedo and Felipe Ferro, often hairy and with facial hair, but not always. I did notice that when streaming the video in the player on the episode page that there's sometimes a fish bowl effect; however, it's not consistent through the whole video and switching to full-screen mode takes care of this. While I'm not sure, I think this might have to do with the potential use of VR camera equipment. The site quizzes you on what VR equipment you have at the ready, so this seems plausible. And by the way, I was unable to verify if any of these scenes are VR compatible because I don't have the gear. Other than this, the videos are very good quality, they're well lit with crisp pictures, and sound so you can hear the slurping and moaning, and as I said, the full-screen option clears up any fish bowling. Downloads aren't available, not even at any extra cost. 

Picture collectors may be disappointed as each episode only has seven screencaps. They're good quality and display at 1200x475. You can save them individually, but there's no downloadable zip files. The picture viewer has forward and back controls, but there's no slideshow feature. 

The episodes aren't dated, so I have no idea how often the site adds new content, and since this is the first time we're reviewing it, we have no previous review for comparison. The tour does say "every week we release a new video in full 4K", so we'll take them at their word; however, not every video in the member's area is released with a 4K version.

Do I have any beefs about POV Gay? Well, the tour says they have hundreds of videos, but they only have 46 and I have already covered the 4K issue. The tour also says there are 250 models on the site, but there are only 80 listed in the Models section. As well, Darius Ferdynand, Craig Marks, and Andy Star are on the tour under "Favorite Models" but they don't appear on the site, maybe they're yet to come; however, it's worth noting that Ferdynand stopped filming years ago. I have also mentioned the absence of downloads and no zips files for picture galleries.

POV Gay gets top marks from me. In a world of cookie cutter porn, this site goes the extra mile to give us lots of variations in their point-of-view scenes. You won't be watching the same old thing over and over. There are 46 exclusive videos here and they're available to stream in an adaptive player and you can watch them on your mobiles. The men here are pretty sexy and offer variety across twink, jock, daddy, and muscle hunk types. I'm very happy with the creativity with the scenes, sometimes we're watching a top's face while he sucks his bottom's cock and fucks him, sometimes we're watching a cocksucker doing his thing as if we're the top, and so many other variations. There are some missteps in exaggerated claims, but the content here is fantastic and I thoroughly enjoy watching the videos and reviewing the site.
