The Best of Richard Locke

Vintage gay porn site Retro Males has just released The Best of Richard Locke. I was coming of age just as Locke was in the middle of his porn career. El Paso Wrecking Corp. was released in 1978 and L.A. Tool & Die came out in 1979. It'd be another couple of years before I could legally watch either of those movies, but I saw them both. I also remember seeing him popping up in various gay porn mags.

Locke served in the army as a tank mechanic until the end of the '50s, then he settled down in California. In his mid-thirties he started his porn career and filmed under his real name. He worked with some of the finest gay porn directors, men like Joe Gage, Arthur Bressan Jr., Steve Scott, and Wakefield Poole; and he performed with big stars like Jack Wrangler, Will Seagers, Roy Garrett, and Casey Donovan.
