Surprise! Markie More Un-Retires

Last night, at a porn industry event Markie More announced that he will not be retiring. On March 2, More released a tweet: "As of yesterday, I am officially retired from the adult industry," then he purged his Twitter feed of anything porn related. At the Next Door Studios party at the Phoenix Forum, which began March 22, More announced, "I’ve made the decision not to retire." So why the change of heart?

More explained that he has felt a calling to help people saying, "I thought I needed to subtract myself from the adult industry to make that happen." But More went on to say that this is the very industry that changed his life. "It helped me be more confident, comfortable with who I am, and comfortable with my sexuality, so yes, I've decided not to retire."

More pledged to donate $250 from each future Next Door Studios scene he films to the Gay Straight Alliance Network, an organization that helps establish clubs in middle schools and high schools to help LGBTQ students. Next Door Entertainment will also donate $100 for every Markie More scene to the organization.

Markie More's next appearance is in a four-part series called Straight Chexxx that begins March 31, More is in the second episode with Ty Thomas and it'll debut on April 7. The series also stars Mark Long, Jimmy Clay, Dean Phoenix, and Quentin Gainz.
