Michael Lucas: "I Am Retiring as a Porn Star."

This week, porn star and director Michael Lucas announced via New Now Next that he's retiring from performing. But don't get excited, in true dramatic fashion, this is going to be the long kiss goodbye: Lucas is planning his exit for 2020. "A nice round number," he says.

Michael Lucas, who is 46 years old, started filming in 1996 and launched his own company, Lucas Entertainment, in 1998. He jokes with NNN saying, "I can’t starve myself any longer. I’ve been starving for 23 years. I want to eat—pastries, sugar, pasta." But he says that he's really just tired of performing and wants to recover the pleasure of sex without the cameras before it's too late.

Lucas says that he will continue to run his company and direct films. When NNN asked if he was going to bottom before retiring, Lucas said, "I think one should do what he does really well. I don’t really do that in my personal life, and when you’re in the movies, it’s already lots of pressure." Lucas also says that he's thinking about writing his memoir.

Lucas told NNN that Assassins from 2011, was his favorite movie. "I was the main character. My scene with Adam Killian was the main scene." Michael Lucas' last scene was with Sergeant Miles who bottomed for the producer, and this was Lucas' fifth scene this year.
