Flashback: That Special Porn Sheen

Besides their near or full nudity, these fellas have something in common. It's a sheen, an aura brought on by lighting, sweat, oil, or, admittedly, retouching. And it's special.

That sheen is what makes some photos look otherworldly. And whatever it takes to reach that other world, I want a ticket. Warning though: after prolonged exposure to perfect pornography, probably don't apply the same expectations to the real world (unless you live in West Hollywood).

Definitely wait until you can wear contact lenses that include image-filtering software. Then it would be up to you if you wanted to maintain that buffed out sheen when you look at real world guys, knowing full well that's maybe not them.

As far as fantasy images, that's fine. When it blurs into real world interactions, just keep perspective. Though I kind of want to totally lose perspective and just fine a naked muscle guy with his bow and arrow. Or a naked guy in a pond.

That pond guy is doing an excellent job of ignoring his fear of being bitten by a water moccasin. Clearly his fluffy hairdo has imparted upon him the courage to be naked on film and to face wild animal dangers.

Let's hope he didn't have to put his muscles to use doing anything but posing.
