We Are Charmed

Ch.16

A woman is walking fast, turning into a full on sprint, trips, falls, and hurts herself a bit.

“Damn it,” she says. She picks herself up, and suddenly comes face to face with Ryan, glamoured as Kyle 

“Kyle, what are you doing here?” the woman ask. “Thank God you’re here! There’s someone following me!”

“I know,” ‘Kyle’ says, “He IS here.” ‘Kyle’ waves his hand over her face and reveals himself not to be Kyle.

“Hey, sweetie,” Ryan says. He materializes a crossbow and shoots a bow into her chest. 

“Why?” Kelsey asks in shock. 

“Because Kyle will be here and I will get him where I want him.”

Kelsey dies and her body disappears. 

“Let the games begin,” Ryan says as he glamor himself as Kelsey.

“Kyle,” ‘Kelsey’ yells.

“Hey,” Kyle says after orbing to her.

“Hey yourself.” ‘Kelsey’ materialized a crossbow and arrow. Kelsey/Ryan shoots the arrow into Kyle’s shoulder. After realizing what just happened, Kyle quickly orbs away.

Ben and I are in the kitchen, washing the dishes, when Kyle appears with an arrow in his shoulder.

“Kyle,” I say running over to him and about to pull out the arrow when Kyle grab my arm.

“It’s a poison arrow,” Kyle says. “Be careful with it.”

“Here, let me.” Ben said as he use his power to remove the arrow. Kyle yells out in pain.

“Fuck!” Kyle curses. I rush over with the gauze and keep the pressure on it.  

“It was a dark lighter wasn’t it?” I ask, looking at Kyle. 

“Yeah,” Kyle says. “ I might die from this.”

“No,” I say. “I won’t let you. Not again.”

“Brennan,” Kyle says.

“No,” I say. “There must be something that Ben and I can do. Why can’t you heal yourself”

“There isn’t,” Kyle says. “It’s okay babe. I can’t heal myself. Especially with this poison running through my blood. I am too weak to do that. Be careful with Ryan. He has the powers of a darklighter and the death touch too. 

“No,” I say “We will figure something out. We always do. I will babe!” Ben and I help Kyle to my room. Once we lay Kyle on the bed, I get up and leave. I close my room door. There I walk to the area of the Book of Shadows is and look through the book. I keep on flipping through the pages when I come across something that might really help Kyle. It was the power switching spell . “What’s mine is your’s and what’s your’s is mine, let our powers cross the line. I offer up my gift to share, switch the powers through the air.” 

I write it down and rip it out of a notebook. There I see Ben sitting looking at me

“What are you doing?” Ben ask.

“Switching Kyle’s and my powers so I can heal him.” I reply.

“What?” Ben ask.

“What?” I ask. “We need to do something about this situation.”

“Fine,” Ben says. “Is it safe?”

“Yeah,” I say. “Just don’t be here since I don't want you powers to be switch too.”

“Okay,” Ben says. “Fine. Just tell me when you’re doing it.”

“Now,” I say. “Nothing is better than the now, my twin.”

“Fine,” Ben says as he gets up and leave the apartment. He turns around. “Find the trigger for his power.”

“I know,” I reply. I walk back into my room and see that Kyle is out of it and hurt.

“Hey,” I say. 

“Hey,” Kyle says weakly.

“I am going to save you. One way or another.”

“Bran,” Kyle says looking at me. “There is nothing you can do. It’s the poison. You can’t stop it.”

“We can try,” I say. “What’s mine is your’s and what’s your’s is mine, let our powers cross the line. I offer up my gift to share, switch our powers through the air.”

A blue and green light came out of both of me and Kyle and the blue light hit me and the green light hit Kyle.

“Bran,” Kyle says. “You didn’t.”

“I did,” I say. “I switch our powers so I can figure out how to heal you.”

“Bran,” Kyle says. 

“Kyle,” I say. “I am going to save you. Whether you like it or not.”

“No,” Kyle say. I just give him a look and push the gauze against him.

“Ow,” Kyle says.

“Oh, did that hurt? Good.” I say.

“Lay off,” Kyle says grinning. “I love you.”

“I know,” I say. I get up and walk out of my room and close the door. I open the front door and see that Ben standing there.

“You finish?” Ben ask.

“Yeah,” I say. “Ready to vanquish this bastard who did this to Kyle?”

“Yeah,” Ben says. “I am going, you stay here with Kyle.”

“What?” I ask. “You crazy?”

“What,” Ben ask. “ I am okay. I will be able to vanquish him with his power.” 

“You sure?” I ask.

“Yeah,” Ben says. “ I also will get the incantation to summon the dark lighter too.”

“Fine,” I say. “Be careful.” 

“I will,” Ben says. Ben leave and close the door behind him. I watch him leaves and sigh. I walk back to my room to see that Kyle is there still

“Ky,” I say.

“Hmmm,” Kyle moans. “What’re you doing here?” He says weakly.

“ I am here to find a way to heal you,” I say. 

“Brennan, it's okay. I love you.” Kyle says as his eyes slowly closed. I see his grip on his life slowly slipping away.

“Kyle,” I say shaking him. He doesn't reply.

“Come on babe, open your eyes. Please!” I shout, as tears blurred my vision.

“Please. Don’t leave me again.” I say as my voice cracks. I hug Kyle’s unconscious body, crying. My tears hit my hand and it glows. 

“I love you,” I murmur.

I see a yellow light coming from my hand. “Kyle, can you hear me? I love you!” I waved my hand from his head down to his toes.

“Please come back to me babe! I love you!”

Kyle gasps and his eyes went wide open. 

“Brennan?”

“Kyle,” I say. “I love you. I love you.” I kiss him. “I'm sorry I didn't tell you that. I thought that it will lessen the blow if you did die. Why didn't you tell me that love is the trigger?”

“Because you need to figure it out yourself,” Kyle replies. “Where is Ben?”

“Out looking for Ryan.” I say.

“What,” Kyle ask. “Is he crazy? He’s going to get himself killed.”

“I'm sure he will be fine,” I reply. “I will find away to get him back safely. Should I switch our powers back?”

“No,” Kyle say. “I'm still weak from the poison. Use my power to look for Ben. Once you do, orb to him and end Ryan.”

“Okay,” I say. “How do I do this?”

“Close your eyes, find your inner calm and love. Focus on Ben.”

“Okay,” I say. I focus on Ben and close my eyes. 

“He's fine. He's at the a park. Legg lake,” I say as I open them.

“Okay,” Kyle says. “Go to him.” I look at Kyle and smile. “I love you. So much. I lost you once. I'm not going to lose you again.”

“I know,” Kyle says. I lean in and kiss Kyle. I then orb out to Legg Lake to find my twin.

I walk to the area to summon the darklighter that I am looking for. I look around to make sure that no one is around. Once that I am satisfied, I pull out the piece of paper that I wrote down the summoning spell on. 

“Ixo Mende Layto Sempar,” I chant. After chanting it, I see black orbs and a guy in a black clock appear.

“Why am I here?” Ryan asks confused.

“Because I summoned you,” I reply. The dark lighter materialized a crossbow and about to shoot it when I use my powers and move him and the cross bow.

“You are not a whitelighter,” Ryan says.

“Nope,” I reply. I see blue light and Brennan appears.

“What you doing here,” I ask. “Is Kyle okay?”

“Yeah,” Brennan replies. “He’s fine.”

“What,” Ryan says. “You’re a whitelighter? Kyle is fine?”

“Yeah,” I say grinning. “Ready to destroy him?”

“Yeah,” Brennan says grinning.

“Not so fast,” Ryan says. He materialized a crossbow and shoots it. Seeing that the arrow is coming for Brennan and he orbs out, dodging it by inches.

“Now,” I say to Brennan as he reappears..

“What mine is your’s and your’s is mine, let our powers cross the line. I offer up my gift to share, switch our powers through the air.” Brennan says. 

I see that all of the powers are switch. “I don’t have the darklighter powers.” I say.

“I do,” Brennan says. Brennan turns to me

"Move him closer will you?"

"My pleasure." I say. I move Ryan towards Brennan

"Hate is his trigger," Brennan says

"Then hate him." I reply

Brennan hand start to glow red and put it on Ryan's chest. 

"AHHHH," Ryan moans as there is a hole appearing on his chest making that part of his body vanish.

 "What mine is yours and yours is mine. let our powers cross the line. " Brennan chanted before Ryan dies and disappears.

“You okay?” I ask.

“Yeah,” Brennan replies. “I never want to go through that again. It took so much hate.”

“Yeah,” I reply. “You orbing us home?”

“Yup,” Brennan replies. Brennan take my hand and he orbs us back to the apartment.

I orb Ben and myself home, to our apartment. Once we arrive, I walk to my room to see Kyle propped up and watching tv.

“Hey you,” I say.

“Hey yeah back,” Kyle replies. “Ryan?”

“Dead,” I say. “Ready to switch powers?”

“Yeah,” Kyle replies.

“What mine is your’s and your’s is mine, let our powers cross the line. I offer up my gift to share, switch our powers through the air.” Again, a blue and green light come out of us. The green light hits me and the blue light hits Kyle.

“Think our powers are back?” Kyle asks

“I think so,” I say. “Are you going to eat that?” I ask pointing to the bagel.

“Nah,” Kyle say. I pick it up and toss it into the air. I use my power of explosion and blow it up.

“Now that's what I am talking about,” I say happily.

“Hey,” Kyle says. “My powers are awesome.” 

“I know,” I say, walking over to him. “I love you for it. Want to get something to eat?”

“Sure,” Kyle says. I help Kyle up, and he literally jumps up and runs out the door. 

“Wow,” I mutter. “Apparently you don’t need my help.” I follow him to the living area where I see Ben leaving.

“Where are you going?” I ask

“On a date,” Ben says. “ You are right. I should go out. If the timing is right, I will tell her that I fly on broomsticks.”

“Okay,” I say laughing. “See you.”

“Later,” Ben says. I watch Ben leaves, closing the door behind us

“Ready for dinner?” Kyle ask looking at me?”

“Sure,” I say.. “But it's my turn to cook for you.” 

“Fine,” Kyle says as he walk over to the couch and turns on the T.V. 

“Okay,” I say grinning. I put a pot on the stove and turn it on. I start to cook curry and rice. Once I am finished, Kyle and I ate it and watched tv until 11:30.

“Well I better get going,” Kyle says.“Early day tomorrow.”

“Okay,” I say. Kyle kiss me and orbs away.

“Bye,” I say as I watch Kyle leaves. I put the dishes in the dishwasher and start it. I then get ready for bed. I walk to my room, get under the covers and soon I visit dream land.
