"Here it is. My new home," I thought to myself as I approached the large dorm building.

After hearing all the stories about how great a university life was, I couldn't wait to experience it myself. I was excited to finally live alone, happy to have gotten away from the rotting small town I had lived in for all 18 years of my life and eager to experience so many new things.
