Let's Play a Game. (Chapter Four)

Today is the day I'm going to tutor Gio. YAY!!

I woke up a little than usual to prepare myself. I took a nice long shower and put a little cologne on me. Not too much, he might notice it, I thought. It's like I'm going on a date. Haha. Then I went down ate my breakfast of eggs and bacon. After eating I brushed my teeth and waited for Gio's text.

After about thirty minutes of waiting my phone rang. I looked it up and I saw a text from my friend. She was asking if I wanted to do anything this weekend. I replied to her that I have plans and that I'll go out with her next time. Then I waited again. After almost an hour of watching TV, my phone rang again. It was Gio, he said that he'll be ready in ten minutes and we'll meet at Starbucks. After reading I applied a little bit more cologne prepared my things and left the house.

As I arrived I noticed that Gio was not there so I went inside and ordered my usual. After saying my order, paying for it and getting it, I found a seat outside. While drinking my coffee Gio arrived and took a seat in front of me.

"Hey" Gio said.

"Hey!" I replied while smiling.

"You been here long?" He asked.

"No, I just got here." I replied back.

"I'll just get a cup of coffee and then let's go okay?" he said back.

I asked him "What did you get?"

He said "My favorite, Dark Mocha with raspberry syrup."

"I got that too. It's my favorite!" I said.

Then we went to his car. His car is new and it's very nice.

"Wow!" I exclaimed. It was all I could say.

"You like it? It was my mother's gift to me for my eighteenth birthday." He said.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Opel Cascada." he said.

"Wow" is all I can say.

"Come on. Let's go!" he said.

I went it his car and the top suddenly moved.

"Your car's a convertible?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah!" he smiled.

We drove for about ten minutes and arrived in front of a big house. I went down his car and he parked his car on their garage.

I waited for him at the front of the door.

He came running back and said to me "Come on!"

He rang a doorbell and a maid opened the door.

"Let's go." He held my shoulders and slightly pushed me inside.

As I looked around I was awed by the look of it. It was a very nice house, it looked so roomy, comfortable but it was huge.

"Let's go to my room." He said.

"So, where's your parents?" I asked.

"My mom's not here. She's on a business trip or something." He replied.

"What about your father?" I asked back.

"Hmm. I don't know, I haven't seen him since I was 9." He replied.

"Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked." I said.

"It's okay" he said.

Then I walked up the stairs with him and went inside his room.

His room was like twice the size of my own. His bed is king sized and it's covered with big plush and comfy looking pillows and warm and cozy blankets. There's also a terrace, I went out and I saw their backyard. It has a big pool, not Olympic size, but bigger than normal house pools.

"Wow, you have a pool!?" I asked in shocked.

"Yeah, you wanna go in later?" he asked me.

"Oh but I don't have swimming clothes." I said.

"That's fine, you can borrow some of mine." He said.

"Thanks but first you need to study." I said.

"Yeah. Let's get started." He said.

"Sure, just take out your notes and let's start." I replied.

We sat in his bed and he took out his notes.

While he was reading I started to stare at his face. I see his eyes a lot closer, his eyes have the color gray mixed with a little olive green. Whenever I look at him from school all I see is that his eyes are gray, now I see it a lot clearer I realized it is a lot nicer. I suddenly whispered, "Wow". Then he looked at me looking confused then went back to reading. After staring at his eyes, I stared at his hair. His hair is black and a little bit long. It looks like he had just woken up bit it look nice. His mouth was moving along while he was reading. I noticed the that the color of his braces were blue, sky blue. Then I asked, "How long have you had your braces?"

"About two years. By the way it will be removed any time this month. You wanna come with me? We can eat lots of ice cream after. My treat!" he said.

"Sure!" I say, then I continue to tutor him.

After a few hours of studying it's time for lunch.

"I'm hungry, let's go eat." Gio said.

Then we went down to their dining room. It was huge and the table was filled with a lot of different food. He said to me "Sit down, let's eat."

We sat down and wolfed down on a lot of the food there.

After eating we went back up to his room and sat in his bed.

"I'm bored I can't do this anymore." He said.

"I'm beat." I also say.

"Let's go for a swim." He suggested.

"Hmm. I don't know." I said.

"Come on. We've been studying forever. Plus you wanted to go in earlier." He reasoned.

"Come, let's go." I said. "but I don't have something to wear."

He went to his walk in closet and went out with a swim shorts.

"Here, try this on." He threw me the swim shorts.

"Where's your bathroom?" I asked.

"Why?" he asked.

"I'm gonna try it on." I said.

"Why do you need to go to the bathroom? Just try it on here." He said.

I just said, "Uhmm."

"Aw. Are you shy?" he said. "It's over there." He said pointing at a door at the back.

I went inside the bathroom and tried on the shorts. It's a little snug on me but I can still move freely. I decided to keep my shirt on. Then I went out of the bathroom. As I was walking out I saw Gio already wearing his swim shorts and without a shirt. I noticed his stomach, it has the makings of a very nice six pack. And I suddenly feel conscious, it's a good thing I'm wearing my shirt.

"You ready? Let's go" he said.

We went down stairs out to their pool.

"Why are you wearing a shirt? Take that off! " he joked me.

"Well I don't have a body as nice as yours." I said.

Then he tickled me while pulling my shirt off.

"Give it back!" I joked while we were running around.

"Your body's not bad at all. You just need a little more exercise." Gio said.

When we were in front of the pool he suddenly pushed me, it's a good thing I know how to swim.

"Wow you're pretty good at swimming" he commented.

After surfacing again I went back up and I pushed him. He was surprisingly good at swimming. Before he went back up he did a lap of swimming.

"You know, the swim team is actually accepting new recruits." He said.

"Well, I don't know." I said, "plus I wouldn't know anyone there."

"What if I join with you." He said.

"I don't know." I said again.

"You know, if you join it'll be good for your body." he said.

"You're right. Just promise me you'll join too." I said.

"Promise." He said.

After a little more swimming and splashing around we went back up to his room and changed clothes.

Since it was already late afternoon I told Gio that we'll continue next week. He said thanks and he walked with me until I got a taxi.

As I arrived home, it was already time for dinner, so I immediately went to my room and took a quick shower and went down to eat with my mom. After dinner I went back up to my room.

As I was lying in bed my phone rang. I looked at my phone, it was an unregistered number.

I answered "Hello?"

"Hey Jake!" the guy on the other line answered.

"Who's this?" I asked.

"It's Alec!" he said.

"How did you get my number?" I asked.

"Gio gave it to me." He said.

"Oh okay, why are you calling anyways?" I asked again.

"Nothing, I just want to talk." He said.

"With me?" I said with a small smile.

"Yeah. So how was your student?" he asked.

"He was fine actually. He got a lot of the questions correctly." I said.

"Wow, he's doing a lot of progress. So what else did you do?" Alec said.

"Well, Gio and I decided to join the swim team, well, assuming I get in." I said.

"What, I didn't know you swim?" he asked.

"I know how to swim but I'm not very good at it." I say.

"Well count me in!" he said.

"For?" I ask.

"The swim team I'll join with you guys." He said.

"Great!" I exclaimed. "Now I'll know two people there."

"It's gonna be fun!" he said.

We continued to talk for hours until my phone started heating up. We talked about a lot of things. I think we talked until 2 in the morning. After talking I slept like a baby with a very big smile on my face.
