Hey, Shadow here! I've recently come to the conclusion that Friday is my day of choice to post new chapters. So, every Friday, I will post one. Keep an eye out!

----------------------------------------------------

"LES?!", I yelled.

He went white when he heard me. When he saw me standing there in the kitchen next to Ian. When he found out that he should have stayed wherever it was he was at. I didn't help that Ian was backing away slowly from both of us.

"What are you doing here Malachi?", he asked quietly.

"Ian asked me to come. But I should be asking YOU that. What are you doing here Les?"

"When I broke up with you again, I went to a bar for the first time in almost five years. The first person who I saw there was Ian."

I turn on Ian, and find him in the corner, grinning like a mad man. "You planned this didn't you?"

"I did not. But now that you are both here, why don't we all get a cup of coffee and sit in the living room, and we can explain Mala.", he replied.

I knew exactly what he meant and I went scarlet. He wanted me to tell Les my most dangerous secret.

"You know I can't do that Ian. I can't tell him the truth."

"What truth?", Les piped in. "I totally lost here."

Sigh...

"Well, if you don't tell him, I will.", Ian said.

"Alright Ian... But you must tell him your secret as well.", I said.

"I already planned on it."

------------------------------------------------------ Thirty minutes later, we were all in the living room. The same living room my existence ended in. I was on the recliner, Ian on the sofa, and Les was standing by the door. He was terrified. Or must have been. He looked like a deer in some headlights, or a turkey on Thanksgiving.

"Alright, it's time for the truth. What are your secrets?", Les asked, quaking.

"Do you want to go first, or do you want me to go first?, Ian asked.

"I'll go first. He might be more likely to stay if he knows what I am before you tell him what you are.", I replied.

"Les, what you are about to here is my most valued secret. I must have your promise on God to never tell anyone what we are about to tell you."

"I swear.", he said softly.

"You must not run when I tell you. You may want to sit down.", I said. He sat. "Good. I- I'm an angel."

He stared at me incredulously. "An angel?", he replied.

"Yes, an angel. I'm here on Earth because I fell. I disobeyed orders."

"Are you an angel to Ian?", he asked.

"No. The counterpart. I'm a demon.", he replied.

Les stared at both of us. And then he started laughing. He was hysterical.

"You're kidding right? You both are insane! I should commit both of you!"

Me and Ian looked at each other and nodded. There was only one way to prove it.

"Les, look at us.", I said.

He stopped laughing and looked. Then he fainted.

"Maybe that was to soon.", Ian said. "Maybe we shouldn't have showed him your halo, and my horns."

-------------------------------------------------------------- Les's POV

"Les... Les! Wake up Les! LES!!!"

My head was pounding. I had just had a killer dream. Not to mention my migraine.

"Ugg... Ian, I just had the most horrible dream."

"Les, you didn't have a dream.", Malachi replied.

My eyes snapped open, and I saw what made me faint in the first place. Malachi had a halo. And Ian had horns. Actual horns!

"You have horns.", I said stupidly.

"I did tell you I was a demon.", he replied.

"Uh, hello? I have a halo.", Malachi intervened.

"Yes you do, now can I get some aspirin? My head is killing me...", I asked.

"Hold on, I'll get it." Ian went into the back to get some aspirin and water.

I was... totally flabbergasted. They just couldn't be REAL. I mean, an angel? A DEMON? Some things just aren't meant to be...

"Les... Please say something..."

"What do you want me to say? I just found out that the person I just left is an angel, and the person I'm seeing now is a demon.", I replied. "I can't deal with this right now..."

Right at that moment, Ian decided to show up again, carrying aspirin and water.

"Here you go Les.", he said.

"Thank you."

I took them, and while I was waiting for them to kick in, I was thinking. About what I would do with the information I now had. I never believed my grandfather when he was telling me his stories...

They finally kicked in and I could think straight again. I remembered a vital part of the stories my grandfather had told me. He had said our family was meant to hunt down angels and demons. Didn't matter which, and we could hunt both, but we were supposed to do it.

"Les, what are you thinking right now? You look kind of scary.", Malachi said.

"I'm thinking that I'm your mortal enemy.", I replied. "My grandfather was a creation hunter. And now that I know you two exist, so am I."

---------------------------------------------------------------- Malachi's POV

Les left after he said that, but warned us to be careful. He would be hunting us after this, and we'd need every ounce of our cunning to stay away from him. Or, we could just end it, and stay where we were. Our choice.

"What do you think we should do?", I asked Ian.

"I haven't heard of the creation hunters in ages. The last time I ever saw one was back in Arthur's time. Morgana was one of the worst, and I still managed to defeat her."

"That was a long time ago Ian. You don't have the same powers you did then."

"Well, this time I have you to help me.", he said. "We can- and will- stop him, or die trying. "

"OK.", I replied. "But what I really meant was, what are we going to do NOW?"

The sparkle returned to his eye.

"What to do now?," he asked. "I'll have to remove the curse first of all. And then we'll see where we go from there."

"I like the sound of that."
