GayDemon's review of Tim Tales

Tim Tales is the site of big-dicked porn performer Tim Kruger and his real-life boyfriend Grobes. Tim does the networking and scouting for guys to appear in their pics and videos, Grobes does the production and video editing, and both of them sometimes take a turn in front of the camera. I like the tour of their site since it allows non-members to click the Videos and Photos links and preview all the action and the models. There's also an About Us section I liked since Grobes and Tim tell us about their site and also it's mission, which is authenticity.

When you log into Tim Tales, you'll find the navigation links across the top of the page and below them is what is basically a blog. Grobe and Tim take turns writing, and the subjects range from updates finding guys for the site. If you read the blogs, you can get an idea of how often the site adds new content, but the only dates are shown on the tour, and they show 1 video is added each week plus an occasional bonus video. The site currently offers 157 videos, which is 127 more than there were a little over 2 years ago when we first reviewed the site.

The videos are available in 2 formats - WMV and MP4. The best videos the site has to offer are the newer HD vids in both formats. They're shown at 1280x720 at just over 4 Mbps, and they look and sound good. The older WMV's are shown at 960x540 and the older MP4's at 640x360, both both at good amateur quality or better, and they only lose a little quality when enlarged. Most of the videos are offered in at least 1 smaller broadband size, as well as mobile vids for iPhone and iPod. The streaming videos are shown at the top of each video listing page, and are also quite watchable. All videos are downloadable full scenes and no DRM is used, so the videos will play even after your membership is expired.

Tim Tales also offers members 75 exclusive pic sets, 63 more than on our last visit. These are good amateur quality digital stills shown at from 512x768 to 1166x777. Each set is offered in your choice of a single-page thumbnailed gallery or a downloadable zip file, and there are between 15 and 60 photos per set. It's worth mentioning that while some of the videos are hardcore, the pic sets are all of solo guys.
