GayDemon's review of Str8 Hell

Str8Hell is the newest site from William Higgins. It replaces the long running CzechGuysNextDoor (CGND), his key repository of kink and fetish material. Non-members can see free previews (about 55 secs) of every video and get a good idea of the nasty goings-on. Higgins' newsletter regularly issued ‘health warnings' about the CGND material. If you're familiar with the main William Higgins site, you'll feel right at home here, as the layout is identical. At the top of the attractive home page you'll find navigation links, a search box, a download counter and the date and time in Prague. Below are listed the latest updates, all dated. Each page displays 20 titles. The site adds a new video twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Each video is accompanied by a substantial photo set. Videos can be selected by category or action type. A selected video opens up on the same page, while pic sets appear in a new tab.

The same previews available for every video on the tour are also available to members, a great idea that is helpful in deciding whether to stream or download a whole scene. There are plenty of viewing options, and allowance is made for Apple and even Linux systems. If you'd like even larger videos, all titles have links to another Higgins site, Burndvd.tv, where 1920x1080 copies are available for sale. A lot of the scenes are surprising long; the longest is 79 mins. There is a download limit, not explained in any FAQ. The counter at the top of the screen records your download amount; both videos and pic sets are included. The daily maximum is 5 Gb, and the counter resets at midnight Prague time each day.

The pics are all good quality digital stills and good-sized. The sets are very large, possibly too large; many images are minor variations of the same shot. The action sets number from 220 to 1120, with an average of 560. There are no screen caps. Sets for castings are much smaller, averaging 72. There are 4 slideshows for each set. 2 for each pic size, and then split into Flash and HTML slideshows. The HTML slideshows can be played on systems which don't support Flash e.g. iPad.

The guys range from 18 to about 30, with builds from trim twinks to bulky bodybuilders, and with looks from ordinary to stunning. Just about all have material on main Higgins site, as well. All hail from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which means uncut cocks are the norm. 95% are said to be straight. The very incomplete Models list contains only 17 names, although there are 88 models on the site at present. Finding models is made more difficult by the fact that it's not possible to search a model by his full name; you just get a rather irrelevant error message.

The variety of action is really attention-grabbing. All videos are listed under 9 main categories, and 9 types of action. Bondage, forced sex, biting, spanking, whipping, pissing, hot wax, tickling and wrestling are all on the menu. In CFNM (clothed female, naked male) guys are fucked by women wearing strap-on dildos. Airport security features some very thorough cavity searches. Some of the tickling and wrestling scenes may end with the guy/s jerking off, but just about everything else finishes with fucking. Before the fucking, all manner of objects are inserted in those cute Euro butt holes. The action is made even more vivid by the high production standards.

Members get access to the CzechGuysNextDoor archive, the predecessor to Str8Hell. It's a very large site, with 1600+ videos and many more photo sets. The site has an old-fashioned look, and its earliest videos, with resolutions as low as 320x180, reflect its dial-up era design. CGND has a broader scope than Str8Hell. The Fetish Butik material has been continued on the main Higgins site, not on Str8Hell. The William Higgins newsletters have always played an important role in providing material about each video. Unfortunately none of the links to the newsletters for this older material work anymore. Members also get access to a section called Live Camera on the menu, where live castings and photo shoot backstage sessions are available.

The main issue is the relationship between Str8Hell and the main Higgins site. There used to be virtually no overlap between CGND and the main William Higgins site. Now however, many of the same fetish/kink themes appear on the main site and on Str8Hell. In some cases, it's even the same videos. And the castings are an odd inclusion. They don't fit the theme, are not added on a regular basis, and none are exclusive to the site. There's also a pre-checked email offer on the join page.

Str8Hell has got just about everything right in its design. It's an attractive, easy site to use. There's plenty of good quality content, updated regularly, and lots of viewing options. Anything you download you can keep the forever. The pic sets are a very strong feature. If you'd like to see some very nice uncut Euro guys in some very nasty kink and fetish action, Str8Hell is a must to check out.
