Augie is a columnist for a fictional gay magazine He Is. Augie authors a column and writes large centerfold pieces about interesting men of some profession. He chooses different professions every year, and makes millions for his magazine generated by collectors of his stories. In his private diary Augie details his intimate encounters with the characters of his interviews. Knowing that pleasing Augie will give them great publicity, his interviewees usually end up in his bed.

As a former college professor, Augie visits his former students across the world to reignite the sparks that they had shared back during the university days. These recollections form the second batch of stories in this collection.

Between the meetings with his students, Augie has some hot Tinder dates that he likes to extend to full-day meetings, "getting to know" his dates before they turn to what both want from the start.

In yet another batch of stories, Augie presents short fictional stories about guys making love in different ways in the strangest of places.
