Don't panic, this isn't a repeat of the last chapter, please continue to read until Jess makes his choice on how to spend his Saturday night. This time he makes a different choice with a much different outcome.

I got home from work on Friday night and had no real plans for the weekend. Well actually, I sort of wanted to go to the Cameo Theater. The Cameo is a local theater that shows old movies that are at least 20 years old. They always make it a big event and serve food and beverages from the movie that is playing. It usually brings out the true fans of the movie, and they encourage patrons to dress in costumes or as their favorite character in the movie. I drove by the week they were showing the original “Star Wars”, and I never have seen so many Chewbaccas in one place in my life.

This Saturday, they were showing “Brokeback Mountain”. I have seen it before, but never in the theater. When it was released in 2005, I was 5 and had no idea what it was about. Once I realized I was gay, it was one of the first movies I wanted to watch. I thought it would be fun to go watch it at the theater and I assumed there might be a lot of other gay guys there dressed as cowboys. I would probably just wear jeans and a button-down shirt. I’m really not into the whole costume thing.

As I was thinking about my plans, I checked the dating app that I was currently on. I had yet to actually meet with anyone that I had talked to. Honestly, I had only exchanged messages with three guys. The first two were just a couple of ‘what are you looking for’ type of messages. The third guy, Trent and I have been talking for about two weeks now and were getting close to a possible face-to-face.

So far, Trent and I seem to have a lot in common. We were both 26 and still working at the first job that we had got after we graduated from college. We both lived alone and were from simple middle-class families. We had exchanged pictures and I thought he was attractive, he also told me that he liked how I looked. I had a new message; it was from Trent. He wanted to meet at the new Italian restaurant that had just opened. I did like Italian food, so now I had to decide between Trent and Heath Ledger.

Before I could reply to Trent, I got a text from my buddy, Jake. Jake and I have been friends since college. We actually dated for a few months, but we found we were too different to be partners. We were better suited to be friends. Jake was very outgoing and always made sure that everyone he met knew he was gay. I’m a bit on the reserved side, while I don’t hide the fact that I am gay, I don’t advertise it.

I read his text, “Headwind is playing at Jones Street Station tomorrow night. You want to go have some fun?”

Headwind is a local band that we both like, they are very talented and know how to get a crowd out on the dance floor. Jones Street Station is a nice bar that caters to the gay crowd, although a lot of straight people go there for the live music.

I sighed as I now had three options for Saturday night. Then I remembered I also had an invitation from another friend, Colby. I met Colby and his husband Ben a couple of years ago at Jones Street Station. Colby had a new coworker that he wanted me to meet. He suggested that I come to their house for dinner to meet Austin. I have never had good luck with blind dates, but Colby assured me that Austin was a great guy and that he was very good-looking.

Suddenly, instead of having no real plans for the weekend, I now had too many options.

I was still a bit cautious about meeting Trent, for some reason I still didn’t trust anyone that you meet on a dating app. I know, that’s a bit hypocritical, after all, I was on the app too. It had been a while since Jake and I had gone out, so I decided against meeting Trent and go to Jones Street Station to hear Headwind.

Jake replied, “Awesome buddy, it’s been too long since we partied. I’ll meet you there at 8.”

I sent a quick message to Trent telling him that I had other plans and maybe we could try another time. I also let Colby know that I would have to take a raincheck to his invitation. I guess I could watch Brokeback Mountain anytime. I was starting to look forward to my night out with Jake, who knows I might even meet someone.

Saturday morning, I did chores around my apartment and did laundry. I was just trying to kill time until it was time to meet Jake. I took my shower and tried to decide what to wear to the bar. I was sure Jake and I would have a good time, but I still wanted to look good in case there was a guy that might be interested in me. Calm down Jess, you always concoct these dream scenarios and they rarely come true. Just go out and have a good time, if anything else happens, it will just be a bonus.

When I walked into The Jones Street Station, Jake was already there getting a drink at the bar. He grinned as I walked toward him, we exchanged a bro-hug and I ordered a drink.

He said, “The band is setting up, they’ll have this place hopping in a few minutes.”

I looked around the room and there was already a nice crowd. I was quickly trying to find the other single gay guys; I didn’t want to hit on any straight guys. I also didn’t want to cause any trouble for any other gay couples. Me being with Jake may have seemed like we were a couple, so there may be other friends here. I needed to watch for subtle signs if I saw anyone that I was interested in.

There I go again, planning on meeting the man of my dreams tonight was probably not going to happen anyway. I took the first sip of my drink and scanned the room again.

Jake said, “So, how have you been bud? We haven’t talked in a long time.”

I nodded, “Yeah, I’ve been busy at work. We just finished a big project. I’m glad you talked me into getting out for the night. What have you been up to?”

He said, “I’ve been busy at work too. I was kind of dating a guy for a couple of weeks.”

I chuckled, “What does that mean, ‘kind of dating’?”

Jake shrugged, “He was sort clingy. He was a nice enough guy, but he wanted to do everything together. I mean the sex was good at first, but then he started talking about the future and what I wanted and all that jazz.”

I asked, “And you don’t want to settle down with just one guy?”

He took a drink, “Maybe, but I don’t think he was the one.”

I smiled and shook my head, that is so typical of Jake. Once things get a little serious he heads the opposite direction. I think he will eventually meet someone he is compatible with, but he enjoys having fun while the search continues.

He nodded his head toward the stage, “The band is getting ready to start playing, you want to grab a table?”

I said, “Sure, there is an empty one other there.”

Just as we sat down, he smirked, “Did you see that guy checking you out?”

I asked, “What guy?”

Jake said, “The redhead, sitting at the table by the bar. He’s with two other guys, but he sure looked you over when we walked by.”

I glanced in the direction that Jake indicated, I didn’t want to seem to obvious. Of course, he was looking at me and our eyes met. I quickly turned back to Jake and took a deep breath. He was very goodlooking. I wasn’t generally attracted to redheads, but this guy was pulling the look off, very well. I stole another peak at him; he was still checking me out.

Jake grinned, “He’s pretty hot, don’t you think?”

I took a big gulp of my drink and nodded, “Oh yeah. Those red curls are just perfect. I’ll bet he has green eyes too.”

Jake laughed, “Good lord, Jess, go talk to him.”

I blushed, “And say what? I saw you looking at me, do you want to go back to my place?”

Jake rolled his eyes, “Just say hi, then you can ask him back to your place.”

It was my turn to roll my eyes; I have never been the one to make the first move. I signed and took the last swallow of my drink. I looked toward the stage; the band was just about done setting up and ready to start playing. I noticed that there were some newer, younger members warming up.

The original members of Headwind were about my parents age and have been together since the 80s. They played a lot of songs from the 80s, which are super fun to dance to. Over the last couple of years, three of the original members began to have their sons play with them from time to time. The sons were just as talented as their dads, so it looked like the band was going to continue on for years to come.

I swirled the ice around in my glass and took another look in the direction of the guy that was checking me out. He was talking with his friends, but he again looked in my direction. I took a deep breath, maybe Jake was right. Maybe I should take a chance and go talk to him.

I sighed, “I need another drink, do you want one?”

Jake grinned, “Yep, maybe your admirer wants one too.”

I shook my head, “I’ll be right back.” I walked to the bar to order us another round. Of course, I glanced at the redhead as I walked by, and we exchanged a head nod and a little smile.

Just as I gave my order to the bartender, I turned to the man that had just walked up next to me. I was right, he had the most glorious green eyes I have ever seen.

He gave me a smile that could melt Antarctica and said, “You have an ass just like an onion.”

I was a little confused, I said, “Excuse me?”

He chuckled, “You have an ass like an onion, it’s round and firm and brings tears to my eyes.”

I couldn’t help but laugh, I said, “Wow, that is a new one, but um… thanks?”

The smile never left his face, he held out his hand, “I’m Brody.”

I smiled back, “Jess, nice to meet you Brody.”

He asked, “Are you here with someone?” He motioned toward Jake, who was grinning as he stared at us.

I shook my head, “No, I mean, I’m here with my buddy, Jake. But we are not together as a couple. How about you?”

Brody said, “The same, I’m with my friends, they are a couple, but I’m flying solo.”

As the bartender sat mine and Jake’s drink in front of me, I said, “And give Brody whatever he is drinking.”

The bartender nodded and said, “Another Jack and Coke, coming right up.” I looked over at the table and saw Jake give me a thumbs up. I shook my head and sighed.

Before we could talk any further, the band started playing.

Da da da da da dum de dum and then the words, “Just take those old records off the shelf”

Brody’s eyes went wide, “Oh, we have to dance to this one. I love me some ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’.”

I did love this song too, Bob Seager is an amazing artist. We sat our drinks at the table with Jake as Brody grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor. I told you Headwind was great at getting folks onto the dance floor. I was impressed with how much the lead singer sounded like the original artist, especially since he was probably born at least 25 years after this song came out.

They followed that song up with some Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and ‘Fishing in the Dark’. Just as we were getting all hot and sweaty, they slowed things down with Foreigner’s ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’. I could just see my parents dancing to these same songs at all their high school dances. I know these songs are all before my time, but I grew up listening to them. I must have an old soul, because these songs seem to have so much more meaning than some of the stuff I listened to in high school.

As we slow danced, I found myself lost in Brody’s eyes, damn, they were amazing. It felt like we had known each other forever when we wrapped our arms around each other.

When the song ended, Brody smiled, “That was fun, but I think we have a couple of drinks waiting for us back at your table.”

We walked back to the table, and I introduced Brody to Jake and Brody had his friends join us. Jake had also been dancing with a guy, so he joined us as well. Before long we were laughing and joking and having a good time. I am so glad I came with Jake tonight instead of meeting the guy off the app or going to Ben and Colby’s place. I could go see a movie by myself anytime.

Brody was soon ordering shots, and our glasses were never empty. I was sure I was going to be hung over in the morning, but I was having too much fun to stop now. The band was playing some more modern stuff as we enjoyed our drinks.

Just before I was too tipsy to walk, the lead singer said, “We have another oldie to play for you guys. I hope you like REO Speedwagon.”

Brody once again pulled me to the dance floor as they started to sing ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’. It was another of my dad’s favorites that I had heard a hundred times before. I just loved being in Brody’s arms and his hands found my onion butt, I just smiled to myself. I admit, my hands wandered a bit too and he also had a nice ass.

By the time the song ended, we were making out just like I’m sure my parents did back when these songs were new. We broke our kiss and smiled at each other. I took a deep breath, “Would you like to come back to my place?”

Brody gave me that sexy smile, “I was going to suggest the same thing.”

Brody protested when I started to set up an Uber to pick us up. He finally agreed when his friends stepped in and told him neither of was in any shape to be driving.

As soon as we got inside my apartment, we were kissing and pulling each other’s clothes off. We made it to the bedroom and immediately started to suck each other’s cocks. Except for his ginger pubes, Brody was completely hairless. I ran my hands all over his smooth chest and abs, damn he was ripped.

He ran his hands over my hairy torso and spit my cock out long enough to say, “God, I love your fur.”

Brody’s cock was another sight to behold. It was the first time I had been with anyone that was uncut, I kept running my tongue under the foreskin. I was also loving the taste of his precum, it was just the right amount of salty and sweet. His cock was slightly shorter than mine but was thicker. The purple mushroom head making a sexy appearance every time I pulled his foreskin back.

I couldn’t resist any longer, I had to see his pink pucker. I rolled Brody onto his back and pulled his legs up. His love tunnel opened up like a blooming flower as I spread his legs wider. Brody moaned as I raked my tongue across his hole and dove in as far as I could. He let my cock fall from his mouth as he grabbed his ankles so I could really work his hole over good. He gasped, “Holy shit.”

I took that as a compliment and continued my assault. Brody’s head was writhing back and forth as he gripped his ankles even tighter. I came up to lick the pool of precum that was forming on his stomach, savoring every drop.

Brody panted, “I want to eat your ass now. Get on your hands and knees, onion butt.”

I chuckled as I did as I was told. Good lord, Brody had a very talented tongue. This was the best rim job I have ever had. I laid my head on the bed and just enjoyed Brody’s magic tongue. He licked down my taint and then sucked my cum-filled nuts into his mouth. Something else I have always loved.

Brody took my cock back into his mouth, so I pivoted so that I could return the favor. We sucked each other until we were both almost ready to cum. Brody released my dick and asked, “Will you fuck me?”

I quickly agreed and retrieved the lube from my nightstand. Brody rolled onto his back and pulled his legs in the air. Once I had my pole and his hole slickened up, I slowly pushed inside of Brody. I leaned forward so we could share a kiss.

I felt my nuts resting on his ass cheeks, I broke our kiss and looked Brody in the eyes. He smiled at me and said, “Fuck me.”

That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I started to slowly piston in and out, picking up speed with every thrust. I was soon doing my best imitation of a jack hammer, and Brody was begging for more.

He stammered, “Oh..oh..oh..fu..fu..ck.” He was gripping my hips as I pounded him.

It didn’t take long until Brody was saying. “I..I..I’m..cu..mm..mm..ing.” My thrusts were causing his stutter.

I felt his hot seed coat our stomachs and his ass muscles contracting around my aching cock. I felt my nuts tighten as Brody milked me. I let my baby batter fly, flooding his guts. After our last spasms, we collapsed into a sweat and cum covered pile of flesh.

I rolled to Brody’s side as we tried to catch our breath. Brody exhaled and said, “Wow, that was incredible.”

I chuckled, “Yeah, that about sums it up.”

We kissed again and then cuddled together. Brody spent the night and we both woke up with a major hang over. After we slept in, we made some breakfast, er… I guess it was brunch and spent the rest of day doing nothing. We talked and told each other more about ourselves. We really didn’t talk much about that the night before.

Over the next couple of weeks, we went back to Jones Street Station on every Saturday night. By the time we had been seeing each other for a month, we were going to the bar every Friday and Saturday night. Soon after that, in addition to going out on the weekend, we were also spending one or two nights at Brody’s or my place.

I was starting to become concerned, every time we were together, Brody needed to have alcohol. I even mentioned it once or twice; he just said that he had a rough day at work and needed to unwind. After a few times of letting him drink alone, I just drank water, he started to pressure me into at least having one drink with him.

Before I knew what was happening, that one drink turned into many, even during the week. After I got written up at work for being late three times in two weeks, I knew I needed to tell Brody I couldn’t keep drinking on work nights. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy the drinking all that much. Going out once in a while was fine, but three or four nights a week was too much.

After my boss gave me my warning, I talked to Brody.

I said, “I got a written warning at work today. If I get one more in the next month, they might fire me.”

He shrugged, “What a bunch of fun haters.”

I sighed, “Brody, I like my job and don’t want to get fired. We need to stop all this partying during the week. Besides, I don’t enjoy the hangovers.”

Brody laughed, “Oh, you’ll get used to those soon enough. You were looking for a job when you found this one, you can find another one if you get fired. We have the rest of our lives to work; we need to have a little fun while we are still young.”

Of course, he was having a Jack and Coke as I was trying to talk to him. I knew it was pointless to continue the conversation. I left his place and went back to my apartment. For the rest of the week, I made excuses why I couldn’t get together.

Brody sighed, “Fine, but we are going out this weekend, be ready to party.”

I called Jake and told him what was going on.

He said, “Jess, why are still seeing him. If he can’t spend any time with you without drinking, then you are better off without him.”

I knew Jake was right, I’m not sure why I hadn’t ended this relationship already. I sighed, “Yeah, you’re right. We are going out this weekend; I’ll tell him it’s over.”

Jake asked, “Do you want me to come along? You know, I’ll always be there for you, buddy.”

I smiled, “I know you will, but I think this is something I need to handle for myself.”

He said, “Okay, just call me if you need a ride home after you tell him.”

I said, “You’re the best, thanks.”

Jake added, “I don’t care what time it is, call if you need me.”

I thanked him again and we ended the call. For the rest of the week, I rehearsed what I was going to say to Brody. I tried to anticipate any of his rebuttals so that I had an answer for why I didn’t want to see him any longer. I knew I needed to have this conversation before he had too many drinks.

I arrived at the bar at our agreed upon time, as soon as I saw Brody, I knew he had already been here a while, or he started at home. This wasn’t going to be easy. To make things worse, Headwind was playing again. When I sat next to Brody, he immediately tried to order me a drink. He wasn’t taking no for answer, so I just let the drink sit in front of me as I tried to talk to him.

As soon as the band started to play ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’, he grabbed me and pulled me out to the dance floor. The whole time we were dancing, I laid out my case for why I no longer wanted to see him. He just dismissed my argument and leaned in to kiss me.

I pushed him away, “Brody, you are not listening to me. I am not going to keep seeing you if you can’t control your drinking.”

I think I was finally getting through to him. He stood there unsteady on his feet and said, “Fine, let’s go back to my place so we can talk about this.”

I let out a sigh of relief, “Give me your keys, I’ll drive you home.”

He waved his hand, “I’m good, I can drive.”

I stood my ground; Brody relented and handed me his keys. We walked out to his car, and I crawled into the drivers seat, Brody was right behind me. Before I knew what was happening, he pushed me to the passenger seat and started the car. Just like my car, you didn’t actually use the key, the fob just needed to be in the vehicle. Before I could stop him, we were speeding out of the parking lot.

I was pleading with him to stop the car and let me drive him, or at the very least let me out of the car. He was having none of it and only sped up. That is when I noticed the cop car pull out behind us and turn on his lights.

I said, “Brody, you need to pull over, there is a cop behind us.”

He laughed, “I can outdrive him.”

I tried again, “Just pull over.”

He laughed again and said, “We only got one life to live, let’s get it over with.”

I grabbed the dash as we took the corner way too fast and the car began to roll. Just as we were back on the wheels, I saw the tree and heard the sound of crushing metal.
