Beyond the Veil (Hidden Magic Story)!!

Damien Ahring went in for his shift at Ultimate Cinema in Crestfall, Missouri, expecting it to be just like every other shift. Only this time, it wasn't. When Kaden, an insanely hot man, barges in, asking to be hidden, Damien is taken aback, but not nearly as taken aback as he is when a group of four people come in, hot on Kaden's heels, and attack him with magic. Now pulled into the hidden world of magic, Damien wants nothing more than for his life to go back to normal. He soon discovers he can never return to his old life again. Forced to integrate into the magical community, Damien immediately wants to seek refuge with the Magical Council, those who oversee the magical community and keep it hidden from the mortal world, but Kaden protests, saying they can't help either of them. But why? Unable to get a satisfactory answer from Kaden, Damien has no choice but to run for his life with Kaden. Over time, Damien realizes that protecting Kaden is far more important to him than saving his own neck.

The first chapter of Beyond the Veil will be posted on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, after I take a short break from writing and new installments will be posted every Wednesday after that.
