This is a work of fiction. All names and places are fictitious.

Winter breaks meant spending my time at the hotel that my folks managed about 2 miles from the interstate. It wasn’t a bad place, we had 55 rooms in several configurations, and we were usually about 70% booked from spring to late fall. During the summer months I was one of the lifeguards at the pool and in the winter months I did night duty while I went to the college.

Winters were pretty slow. Most of our guests were businessmen and truckers who would drive through and request a room late at night but only stay max 2 nights. There was lots of quiet times at night which gave me an opportunity to do homework while I watched the front desk.

It was a cold January night right after the holidays. The wind was howling up a storm and it was so cold no one ventured out. The hotel was only about 20% booked at most. I sat in the lobby reading one of my textbooks and studying for the upcoming semester when I heard the bell at the front door. A cold blast of air entered the room and sent a shiver through me.

“Evening” I heard the husky voice call out. I jumped up from the chair and moved behind the counter. “Good Evening, how can I help you?” I asked in my semi-fake customer service voice. “I need a room please.” He said in a husky tone. “Great, how many nights will you be with us?” I asked looking up at him for the first time. The man was tall, at least 6’4 with a dark hair cut in a military style, close on the sides and longer on the top. He had a dark beard that was well trimmed and maintained framing a rugged face.

He was wearing a scarf and a white t-shirt that revealed a tuft of hair from his chest peaking over the top. Over the shirt and scarf he had a black well-warn leather jacket. The type that motorcyclists wear. The jacket was tight over what looked like a muscular body with broad shoulders and thick arms.

I pulled my eyes away from the stranger to turn back to the computer screen. “How many nights?” I asked. “Probably about 3 nights, but it could be longer” he said. “Can I please see a driver’s license and credit card” I quickly looked at the age on the drivers license. His name was Jay and he was 48 years old. I took an imprint of the credit card and handed both cards back to him. I directed him to his room then watched as he walked down the hall.

A strange feeling came over me as I watched him slowly move further away. I felt anxious and nervous as if I were guilty about something. I checked the transaction and the computer, and everything was entered correctly. The credit checked out and the drivers’ license did as well.

I went back to my book and picked up where I left off. About 2:30 in the morning the guy came down to the lobby. Still dressed in the jeans, white t-shirt and leather jacket. The scarf was missing. “Hi, can I help you?” I asked as he approached. “You wouldn’t happen to have a vending machine around? I never got the chance to get any dinner and I am sorta hungry.” He said. “No unfortunately we don’t, and no one delivers out here this time of night.” I said, I could see a look of disappointment on his face.

“Maybe I can find something for you in the kitchen.” I offered and his face filled with a smile. His steel grey eyes glistening. The customer followed me to the kitchen, and I pulled out some bread and some lunch meat and placed them on the counter. “Oh, wow this is great” he said sitting at the counter. I watched as his large rough hands moved across the table and took the meat and loaded it on the bread, then sat back and started to eat.

“Want something to drink?” I asked still watching him. “I don’t want to trouble you” he offered. Honestly, I was happy with the company at this hour. I pulled out a couple bottles of water and handed one to him and one for me. “I’m Jay” he said extending his hand. “Chase” nice to meet you Jay I said looking him directly in his eyes. Jay smiled and I looked away.

“You work here long, Chase?” Jay asked. “Yeah, my folks own the place and I work nights during the winter months then I am the lifeguard during the summer months.” I replied. “That’s cool. You must be a strong swimmer to be a lifeguard” Jay said more as a statement. “Yeah I’ve been swimming since I am a kid. I am on the swim team at college too.”

Jay went quiet and just sort of sat there. His big frame seemed sad and weak. “Everything Ok?” I asked after a few minutes of silence. “Yeah all good” he said in a non-convincing way. I looked at him waiting for him to talk again. “My wife is pissed at me and kicked me out of the house.” He said in a soft pained voice. Silence fell on us again. “Sorry man, maybe she just needs to cool off” I said not knowing what else to say.

Jay looked up at me and forced a smile. His grey eyes flashed and there was a look of loneliness. “Thanks for the food and the conversation” he said standing up and starting to clear the table. “It’s cool” I said no problem. Jay turned and left the room. “Hey, can I pay you back” Jay offered. “No, it’s cool, it’s on the house” I said with a smile. “I have some beer in my room. I know it’s late but, I could use the company.” He said turning to the door.

Something about Jay was comfortable and I liked the conversation. “Sure, let me forward calls and I will come up.” I set the phones to forward and locked the front door. If someone came, which was unlikely the doorbell would ring to my phone. Ten minutes later I got to his room. The door was a jar. When I entered Jay was sitting on the side of the bed and the beers were on the table.

“Hey Chase, here you go” Jay said handing me the beer. His bag was on the chair, so I had no choice but to sit on the bed next to him. “Thanks for hanging out” he said with a smile and tapped his can against mine in a toast. “Sure thing” I said lamely.

“You ok Jay?” I asked when the room got quiet. Jay moved his hand up and ran the fingers through his beard. A rough crinkling sound came from the leather jacket as he did. “It’s ok Jay, things will work out” I said looking at him from the side.

“Thanks Chase” Jay said and lowered his hand to my leg and gave it a friendly squeeze. My breath caught in my throat. I was paralyzed by the contact, the warmth of his rough hand on my pant leg. Jay did not remove his hand, he just held it there.

I did not know what to do. Did I move it or stand? I did not want it to get weird. A few minutes passed and Jay started to move his hand. Not off my leg but more in a massaging way. My body was trembling but for some reason I wasn’t scared, I was excited. Jay turned and gave me a look, as if to ask if it was ok. I could feel my dick starting to grow in my pants. This was wrong, and I could not do it. I jumped to my feet breaking away from Jay. “I better get down to the desk” I said moving away from the bed.

Jay stood and came after me. “I’m sorry Chase” he said taking my hand to stop me. “I just wanted the company” he said in a sad voice. I stopped to look at him. His large figure towered over me. Jay moved closer and I backed up against the wall. Jay’s large body moved slowly and soon his body was pressed on mine.

Jay’s hard body pressed me in place. I could smell the leather jacket as he held me tight. Jay moved even closer, and I could feel his crotch grind into mine, my dick was hard, and the sensation sent a wave through my body. Jay placed a large rough hand behind my head and slowly lowered his face to mine. His eyes locked on mine as he moved. I could not move; I did not want to. Then I felt it; the bristles of his beard as his thick warm lips touched mine.

My hands reached out and I wrapped my arms around him inside the leather jacket. I pulled Jay’s hard body to mine as his tongue gently probed my lips and parted them. I had never felt anything like this. I never kissed a man. I never imagined I would want to. Jay’s hands ran down my back and cupped my ass, pulling me forward forcing our cocks together. I could fee some precum inside my shorts as my dick throbbed even harder.

Jay pulled back and looked at me, a smile on his face. “Chase, you are so handsome” he said softly. Jay took my hand and led me to the bed. He laid down and pulled me to him so that I was laying next to him. He turned to face me and pulled me into his body again. My cheek lay on his shoulder and he bent down to kiss me. Then he ran his hand over my chest softly making circles on the sweater I was wearing.
