The sun was dipping low, casting long shadows across the highway as James and Ethan pulled into the rest area. The stress of the long drive from the city to James' parents' house in the country had left them both wound tight. Ethan, with his long, curly hair and green eyes that sparkled even in the fading light, looked both exhausted and exhilarated, a mixture that James found incredibly sexy.
James cut the engine of their sleek, black sedan and let out a sigh. "We made it in record time, love," he said, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
"Just a little longer and we'll be at your folk's place."
Ethan stretched, his toned arms arching upwards like a cat stretching after a long nap. "Thank god. I need to walk off some of this tension." He glanced at James, his eyes dancing with a familiar mischief. "And maybe find a quiet spot to make out."
James laughed, pushing a strand of short black hair away from his face. "You're insatiable, you know that?"
Ethan just grinned.
"Only when it comes to you, babe." He leaned over, gently nipping at James' earlobe before slipping out of the car. "Come on, let's go find that spot."
James followed him out, his lean body moving with a grace that belied the long hours he spent behind a desk. They walked away from the rest area's main building, towards a small grove of trees that offered some privacy. The air was filled with the scent of pine and the distant hum of cars on the highway.
As they wandered, they heard the rumble of a motorcycle approaching. James glanced back and spotted a large, muscular man riding a Harley.
