New Look / New Outlook

“I’d say that’s a fresh fade if I’ve ever seen one.” I said as I saw my little piggy get his hair cut at the local barber.

“I don’t like it.” Ashton muttered softly.

“Well you needed this cut. Your hair was just too damn long for me.” I said as I smiled at his short fade. He looked like a new man.

Ashton didn’t protest. The work had already been done and there was nothing he could say or do that could change that.

After I paid for his haircut, we both continued to make our way through the small town. We were told there were some historical sites, but there was nothing. Nothing but small shops and closed down stores.

We saw a broken-down house, told it was burnt down in a fire. We saw a used car lot, locals say they get ripped off all the time, and the main attraction was the town square. It was a little patch of grass with the American flag in the middle of it. Pitiful if you ask me.

“This sucks.” Ashton spoke as he looked out the rainy window of my truck.

“For once I agree with you. Want to grab some breakfast since there is nothing left to see here?”

“Please.” He said looking at me with his beautiful pale face. My little piggy needed to eat.

We stopped at the local diner, nothing too special about it. The place still had neon lights the outlined the outside. The place looked like an old ice cream parlor from the 50’s. The waitresses were even dressed in poodle skirts and had beehive updo’s. The place was called Pops, and this seemed to be the most happening joint in the town.

“This seat looks good.” I said as I motioned for Ashton to sit down on the opposite side.

“Thanks.” He said back.

An elderly woman with white hair approached our table. Her name tag read “Roberta” and she was all smiles.

“What can I get you two fellas?” she asked with a kind voice.

“I’ll take the eggs and bacon.” I answered first.

“How you like your eggs?” she asked while writing my order on the ticket pad.

“Over-easy please.”

“And for your son?” she asked looking over at my little piggy.

“I’ll take the French toast and some hash browns please.” He answered not looking up.

“Alright gentlemen, I’ll be back with your food in a little bit.”

“What about our drinks?” I asked looking confused.

“Oh I’m sorry sugar. Pops is known for our great fountain station. Drinks are on the house. Go help yourself.” She smiled and went to the kitchen to put our order in.

“Ill go get the drinks.” I told Ashton as he continued to look down.

I grabbed a couple of cups from the nearby fountain station, many options to choose from. I chose a vanilla orange soda for myself. For Ashton he was going to get lemon and lime. When we was a kid that was his favorite soda flavor. I was hoping nothing had changed.

“Thanks.” Ashton replied as I sat his drink in front of him.

“You alright?” I asked, Ashton was still looking down.

“I just wanted to say sorry again.” This time I could tell he meant it.

“Listen, maybe I’ve been a bit too hard on you.” Ashton looked up and cut me off.

“No. I needed that. Since before mom died, I’ve gotten whatever I wanted. Nobody seems to care enough to actually tell me no. Until you. You think the drugs started after mom?” He chuckled as he folded his arms together.

“Want to tell me about it?” I asked as I took a sip of my drink.

“Mom was with 5 guys her entire life. That was a lot of moving around for me. You happened to be one of those pit stops along the way. She never paid attention to me really. Even when I started taking drugs she never really cared.” His green eyes began to water.

“You don’t know that. She did love you.” I tried to retort, but his eyes were full of sadness.

“I can love someone too but not care about them enough to pay attention to them. Funny thing is nobody really cares about you until after you’re gone. Its when you go missing that people actually start to care about you.” His voice began to choke up and he took a drink of his beverage.

The waitress came back with our food and looked at Ashton. I gave her a half smile and nodded my head. She gave him some extra napkins and patted his shoulder. She was a sweet lady.

“When mom died, I kind of used that as an excuse to keep doing drugs. Even if that meant hurting people along the way. Hurting people is what I’m good at.”

“That’s fucked up pig.” I said while chowing down on my food. He finally took a bite of his.

“Its easier to blame others for what you do rather than yourself. I’m good at blaming others, its kind of my thing.” He continued to eat his toast.

“You need attention in the worst kind of way.” I stated as we both locked eyes for the very first time.

“Yeah I do. And for the first time I’m getting some attention in the worst kind of way.” He kept his gaze fixed at me.

“I tried to be nice, but you did it all to yourself.”

“I guess I did. And I am sorry for what I said. It was pretty hurtful.” He finally looked down away from me.

“We all make mistakes Ashton. Its part of growing up. I was not going to let you run all over me like you have everyone else. You needed this in the worst way possible.”

“I’m in pain Mr. S.” his voice had given out and his face flooded with tears.

“I know pig. I know.” I moved over to his seat and he scooted over for me. He leaned his head into my puffy chest and let out the tears he was holding in for a long time. This was what my pig needed. He needed comfort.

After our breakfast I decided to drive us back to the hotel. The storm had picked up and it was raining even harder. Ashton and I ran to my truck as fast as we could and we both got soaked from the rain. I quickly turned the engine on and we were off.

The rain was pounding against the glass of my vehicle. I could not see 6 feet in front of me. Ashton buckled up and for the first time did not turn on his cellphone. The panic in his eyes was present. He was scared.

“Just a couple more miles to go pig.” I tried to say reassuringly.

“Sure, just don’t crash us please.” He said as he gripped the side of the passenger side door every time the truck shook.

We continued to drive for a few more miles and before I could reach the motel I noticed a pair of hazard lights on the side of the road. Someone’s vehicle was stuck. I slowed down and approached the side of the vehicle.

As I rolled down Ashton’s window, a man a little older than me was standing with his black rain jacket over his head. He was alone. He smiled at the both of us and revealed to be missing his entire top teeth.

“Hey there man.” The man said with his backwoods accent.

“You need help buddy?” I asked.

“Oh please. My car got stuck in the mud pit and no matter what I do I can’t get it out. I’ve tried pushing it and I even had some guy try to use his chain and pull me with his truck, but nothing is working.” He said as he danced up and down in the cold heavy rain.

“You need a ride somewhere?” I asked as Ashton looked at me in fear. I shook my head in reassurance.

“That would be great. I’m staying at the motel up ahead and I’d like to wait out the storm until then. Can you give me a lift please?” The rain was coming down even harder now.

“Sure, hop on in.” I said. The man smiled with his no teeth and hopped inside the truck with Ashton and myself.

The drive to the motel was only a few minutes away. The man sat down in the back and was trying to dry himself off. Ashton kept still the entire time.

“Thank you guys for rescuing me. My name is Earl by the way.” He held out his hand and I shook it.

“Hi, I’m Steve and this is Ashton.” Ashton grinned at Earl.

“Nice to meet you both. You father and son?” Earl asked as he flung the rain out of his hair.

“We are actually.” I answered, not wanting to give him too much details.

“That’s cool. Well like I said I’m staying at the motel up the road. If you fellas want to grab a beer or something.”

“We’d like to, but my son here is underage. He knows better than to drink and do drugs.” I said giving Ashton a stern look.

“I can respect that. Well the offer will stand. Thanks again fellas.” Earl smiled as we finally pulled up to the motel.

The rain had not let up. The ground was filled with puddles of rains splashing back at us. My poor truck looked like I just drove it from a swamp. I pulled the truck into the parking lot and the three of us exited the vehicle.

“Thanks again fellas.” Earl said as he waved us good-bye. We waved back at him. I waited till Earl got into his room before Ashton and myself made our way to ours.

The room was the same. The bedding was not changed, the trash was still full, and the room was damp. Ashton began to remove his clothes as he made his way into the bathroom. I followed behind him.

“Can I take a shower by myself please?” Ashton asked as he looked me straight in the eyes.

“Don’t want me to join you? You afraid I’ll do something?” I asked sarcastically.

“Quite the opposite. I just want to be alone for a little while please.” Ashton was serious about it. I decided to let my pig have his way.

“The door stays open then.” I commanded. Ashton removed off his hoodie first.

“That’s fine. I hope you enjoy the view.” Ashton said as he removed his shirt next.

Ashton’s body was thin, not as sickly as before, but it was thin. His chest was smooth with no trace of hair anywhere. His abdomen were present, but I was sure it was due to him being so thin. At least I couldn’t see any bones protruding.

Next, he started the shower and removed his pants. He revealed his smooth legs and his saggy boxers. I stood in the doorway and didn’t move an inch. Ashton turned to look at me and pulled his boxers down.

His cock was uncut, thick but not long. He balls were large as well. By looking at them I could tell it’s been awhile since he had ejaculated. His pubes were gone. He was smooth like a little boy. He turned around and stepped into the shower and I caught a glimpse of his hairless ass. I was a little disappointed how smooth he was, but he was a boy after all.

I sat on the bed as I clicked through the television, not a fucking thing was on. 10 minutes passed, and Ashton had finally stepped out of the shower. He wore one of his saggy black shirts and a pair of what looked like white or grey briefs. I wondered if he was doing this intentionally to me.

“No pants tonight?” I asked trying to take the bait.

“Nope. I never wear pants to bed. In fact Mr.S, I actually sleep naked.” Ashton gave me a wink.

“Are you trying to torture me?” I asked as he cuddled under the bed next to me.

“Call it “getting even”.” Ashton smiled at me. It was the first time he really smiled.

“Well little pig, as much as I want to crawl under this bed with you and do some wild things, I don’t think I could right now.” Ashton gabbed my arm.

“I want to, and I want you too.” Ashton moved closer to me.

“As much as I want too, it’s not because you like me pig. I’m just another drug to fill the void in you.”  I tried to back away, but he got closer.

“I need something. I really do, I don’t want to feel like this anymore.” Ashton sat his head on my shoulder. I patted his wet hair.

“I cant be a fix for you pig. You have to learn to cope with these emotions. You need to go to that rehab center.” I continued to pat his head.

“I can stay with you and be your little piggy forever. I don’t want to go to rehab. I don’t want to face it alone.” Ashton began to tear up again.

“You have to pig. Its for the best.” I tilted his head up and placed a kiss on his still damp forehead.

Knock, Knock

I heard a knock at the door and put our conversation on hold. It was all very tempting. He made it so easy to have him. As much as I wanted too, I knew if I did, it would have been for all the wrong reasons. Was he even gay? Was he just trying to use me as a fix? Was I an escape from his trauma?

All those thoughts filled my head as I walked to door. I looked in the peephole and saw Earl, with a couple of beers in his hands. The rain was a violent as ever behind him. I opened the door slightly.

“Hi Earl, what can I do for you?” I asked as I could feel the mist from the rain thrashing behind him.

“I thought I’d bring some beers over for you and me. I just really wanted to make it up to you. You were the only guy who stopped by to help me.” Earl smiled again, his mouth was hard not to look at.

“No thanks bud. I’m really tired and I have a long drive in the morning.” I said as I started the close the door.

“Aww man, I wish you would have just said yes.”

BOOM!

The door had been kicked opened and I was on the receiving end. I fell quickly to the ground and could not feel anything after. I looked up and saw Earl standing right over me. He gave me a big smile and lifted the beer bottle up. The next thing I saw were stars….and pure darkness.
