Dan walked in as usual, without knocking, as if the apartment was his second home. But this time there were no jokes, no laughter, no casualness. Just a quiet “hey” and his hands deep in the pockets of his sweatshirt. I knew right away that something was wrong.
He sat down across from me, heavily, as if he had something to say that he could barely comprehend himself.
“I need to talk,” he said quietly.
“Go ahead,” I replied calmly.
He hesitated, staring at the floor. He was silent for half a minute.
“Promise you won't laugh?”
“No. But tell me anyway.”
"Remember those photos I posted from the gym? Shirtless, light from above, a little pumped up. Well, some guy wrote to me on Instagram. At first I thought it was a scam, but no, he seemed real. He said he worked in film production, sent me some links, everything looked legit.
I started smiling, but I didn't interrupt him yet.
“Casting,” he added. “For porn. Gay porn.”
“And you... interested?” I asked slowly.
“Exactly. Not at first. But... they offered me serious money. Seriously serious. And suddenly it became... serious.”
I looked him in the eyes. I saw how quickly he looked away.
“But I've never been with a guy. Never. And how am I supposed to go there... I don't want to look like some stiff rookie. And you... you know.”
“I know,” I replied, leaning back comfortably. “You know it's not just about where you put it, right?”
"That's exactly why I'm here. Will you tell me... everything?
I smiled to myself. He was tense. Stressed. But he didn't run away. That meant he really wanted it.
“Okay. Sit down comfortably. Today we'll cover the theory. But Dan...” I looked at him longer, “...sex with a guy isn't just about the movements. It's something that happens under the skin.”
“Go on,” Dan said and leaned back, as if trying to pretend it was no big deal. But his body said otherwise. His gaze was relaxed, but his hands reached for his sweatshirt again, he adjusted his hood, then crossed his arms again.
“Let's start with the basics,” I said calmly. “In every scene, you have at least two roles. Top and bottom. The one who gives and the one who takes.”
“Yeah.” He nodded.
“But it's not that simple. It's not just ‘who's fucking who.’ The camera doesn't show what you're doing. It shows what you're feeling. And whether you look like you're really feeling it.”
I saw him shift slightly. He wasn't so sure anymore.
“You know, straight guys in porn often do it mechanically. For effect. But in the gay scene... every look, every hip movement, every moan is controlled. And real.”
“You think you can fake that?”
“Maybe. But why pretend when you can feel it?”
Dan didn't answer. I noticed him swallow. Slowly, loudly.
“Okay. So what's next?”
"The camera loves contact. It's not just about fucking. It's about the tension between two guys. The way you look into his eyes. The way you touch him so that you're not sure if it's still acting.
Dan took a breath but didn't stop.
"The viewer has to feel like it's really happening. That there's chemistry between you. And sometimes it's not a scene full of movement. Sometimes a glance, a breath on the neck, a slight push of the hips... and it says it all.
He looked at me.
“So it’s not just about the whole ‘in and out’ thing, huh?”
“Exactly. The camera will catch it. Your pulse, your tension. The fact that you're tense. That you don't know what to do next. But if you make it sexual... then it works.”
I fell silent for a moment. I looked at him sitting there, staring at the floor. I knew what was happening. He was starting to imagine it in his head. He wasn't “analyzing” anymore, he was seeing.
“And one more thing,” I added. “You don't always have time to warm up. Sometimes everything happens fast. But if your body doesn't show that you're ready... no one will buy it.”
Dan looked at me slowly.
“What does that moment look like? When do you know you're ready?”
I smiled.
“That's the next part of the theory. And that's where it gets interesting.”
“When you're the bottom,” I began calmly, “your body is completely open. And completely exposed. You're not in control. You're being taken. You feel every move the other guy makes from the inside. Literally.”
Dan was silent. He looked at me like someone who didn't know whether to laugh or listen further.
“At first, it's a bit of a struggle. Your muscles tense up instinctively. You feel pressure. Tension. Sometimes a slight pain. But if you relax, let it in... something changes.”
He hesitated.
“And then it doesn't hurt anymore?”
“No. Then you start to want it. Your body switches into rhythm mode. You feel it on two levels, outside and inside. Every thrust is like... an impulse. Like someone's sticking electricity into your spine. And doing it right.”
I smiled when I saw Dan hold his breath.
“And your face?” he asked quietly. “Do I have to fake my facial expressions?”
“No, not if you're doing it right. The camera will catch every genuine grimace. Your eyes, your mouth, the sweat on your neck. You don't have to act, just don't stop.”
He looked at me for a long time. He wasn't laughing anymore. He wasn't cool anymore. He was getting into it. In his head. Not yet in his body, but that was just a matter of time.
“What if...” Dan began, again not looking me in the eye, "what if they give us a scene with three people?
I smiled to myself.
“Then it gets really interesting.”
I saw his throat twitch as he swallowed.
“One behind you, one in front of you. Both inside you. Your body has to be relaxed, but your head focused. You have to catch the rhythm of two people at once. One pushes you from behind, the other slides into your throat. And everything happens at the same time.”
Dan took a breath. Slowly.
“The camera loves this setup. It shows how the body tenses between two men. How the eyes dart around, how the hips lose control. And you're right in the middle. Between them and what they're doing to you.”
He was silent.
“But don't worry,” I added. “It's just theory for now. You don't have to do anything yet. But tomorrow...”
I paused. His gaze rose for a moment and lingered on my lips.
“Tomorrow I'll show you how it really works. From the beginning. On you.”
