Mistaken Identity

I graduated from college about a year ago and have been working at my new job since. I was in a new city and didn’t have many friends outside of work.

Sebatian and I had dated all the way through college, but he found his job about 100 miles in the opposite direction from mine. We tried the long-distance thing for a few months, but soon the texts and phone calls became less frequent and after just two weekend visits to each other’s place, we called it quits. We both knew it was going to be a challenge, but we knew what we had to do for our careers. While I was disappointed, I wasn’t too surprised and fortunately I was busy getting settled into a new job and home, so I didn’t dwell on the situation.

So now that a year had passed and I had my routine in place, I thought it might be time to get back out there. My finances had recovered from all the moving expenses and deposits, I was starting to fix my apartment up a bit. Of course, a big TV was the first purchase, then a nice couch and bedroom set. I had just hung a few nice pictures on the wall and stood back, proud of myself for having my first grown up place. As I took another look around, I thought, well now if I just had some friends to invite over.

I was the youngest guy at the office, most of the others were in their late twenties to early thirties. They had been on the job for five or more years and were either married or had long-term partners. I was talking to Joe, one of my coworkers, about it one Friday afternoon.

He asked, “you have any big plans for the weekend Chris?”

I shook my head, “not really, how about you?”

He nodded, “Yeah, Claire and I are going to one of her friend's wedding.

I sighed, “that sounds better than doing nothing.”

He chuckled, “not really, we’re just going to sit at the table with the rest of the bride’s friends. When the bride and groom make their rounds, they’ll tell them how perfect they are for each other. Then as soon as they are out of earshot, someone will say I give it six months.”

I laughed, “these people are friends? Do they really talk about each other like that?”

He rolled his eyes, “yep, I’ve been to enough of these things, hell, I actually heard them at our wedding. I guess the laugh is on them, we’ve made it two years already. Women are the worst.”

I shook my head, “I’m glad I hang around guys then.”

Joe laughed, “yeah, every time we talk, you always make a good case for being gay.”

I shrugged, “oh, I don’t know, at least you have someone to help you have a social life.”

He asked, “what do you mean?”

I said, “Well, since I moved here a year ago, I have been busy with work and getting settled in, I really don’t have many friends or any social life at all.”

He said, “yeah, I guess if I didn’t have Claire, I wouldn’t have much of a social life either. But hey, you just need to go out and try and meet people.”

I sighed, “you’re probably right, I really haven’t been out much since I moved here.”

He smiled, “there you go, hit a bar tonight, you never know what might happen.”

I headed home after work and changed clothes. I drove past a nice-looking place every day on my way home from work called O’Neill’s Pub. So, I decided I would give it a try, I walked back the three blocks from my apartment to the pub and walked in. From the name I was expecting an Irish type of pub, but other than a few shamrocks on the wall, it had more of a sports bar feel. It was clean and the crowd was laughing and having a good time. They were all around my age to about their early thirties. I found a stool and took a seat at the bar, Troy, the bartender smiled as he set a napkin in front of me.

He asked, “what can I get you?”

I smiled back, “a rum and coke please.”

He grabbed a glass and started to pour, “I haven’t seen you in here before.”

I said, “I just moved to town a while back and decided to get out tonight.”

He sat my drink in front of me, “welcome to O’Neill’s.”

I took a drink and turned to have another look around the room. There was a ball game playing on the several TVs that were scattered around the bar. A group of guys were playing pool on the far side of the room, several groups of people were pushing a couple tables together, they looked like a group of coworkers that had stopped in for happy hour. There were several other tables with couples sitting at them and what I guessed were three regulars sitting at the other end of the bar. They were arguing about the last play of the game that was playing on the TV above the bar. I took another drink and sat my glass back on the bar, Troy approached me with a smile.

He asked, “still doing ok?”

I smiled, “yes, thanks.”

He asked me where I moved from, where I work, and we made other small talk. One of the guys playing pool came up for a round for him and his buddies.

Troy asked, “need another round Hank?”

The man nodded, “just three Troy, Paul had to leave.”

Troy pulled three beers from the cooler and as he was opening them, he said, “if you need a fourth, Chris here might want to play some pool.”

Hank turned to me and smiled, “sure if you aren’t too good.”

I chuckled, “as long as you don’t laugh at me when you find out that I suck.”

He grabbed his beers and said, “come on, I’ll introduce you to Bill and Chuck.”

Hank, Bill and Chuck were all nice enough guys and as we got to know each other, I was glad that I came out for the night. Just like my co-workers, they were all married or had girlfriends. Oh well, I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone tonight anyway. We played a couple games of pool and they all started to head home. I walked back to the bar and set my glass down.

Troy asked, “can I get you another one Chris?”

I was just about to tell him no when I saw him walk in. My God he was beautiful, sandy blonde hair messed just enough to be sexy, but not too messed to look sloppy. He had steel blue-gray eyes that squinted ever so slightly when he smiled. Speaking of that smile, the two cutest dimples appeared every time he flashed it. His square jaw covered in a two-day growth that only added to his sexiness. A perfectly fitted t-shirt showed off his chest and arms and his pants covered an equally impressive ass. Jesus, it should be illegal to look that good.

Troy repeated, “Chris, Chris did you want another drink?”

Suddenly back to reality, I looked back at Troy, “yeah, I will have another one, thanks.”

the beautiful man made his way to the bar, stopping briefly to chat with a few people on his way. He sat at the bar about three stools from me. I was trying to check him out as much as I could, without being too obvious. Troy walked to him, took his order, and placed his drink in front of him. They chatted a few minutes, then Troy left to wait on another customer. I kept taking glances at the god that was seated so close, yet so far from me. I must have been staring a bit too long because he caught me.

A small smile crossed his lips, and he raised his glass up in a cheers motion to me. I blushed and returned the motion. He stood and walked to the empty seat next to me as Troy walked toward us.

He said, “I’ll have another one Troy, and whatever he is drinking.”

I was still blushing, “thank you.”

He held out his hand, “hi, I’m Wade.”

I stuttered, “hey, I’m Chris.” As I shook his hands.

Troy brought us our drinks and for the next hour and a half we chatted. Once the initial nervousness wore off, the conversation just flowed, and we were getting along very well. He lived about four blocks in the opposite direction from the bar as I did. He told me that he lived with brother, and they had moved to the area a few months ago, as they both started working their new jobs. We mostly talked about our jobs and the ball game that was playing on the TV. We never really talked about dating, but he did say he was single, and that he stopped by the pub three or four times a week. Soon we noticed we were the last two people in the bar.

Wade chuckled, “we should probably let Troy lock up, it’s getting late.”

I took the last drink from my glass, “yeah, you’re right.”

We walked out the door and as he turned to head to his apartment, he said, “I’ll see you next time.”

I walked in the opposite direction, “yeah, see you later, it’s my turn to buy a round.”

I barley slept that night thinking about Wade, not only was the best-looking guy I have ever seen, but we got along well, and I found it really easy to talk to him. I was hoping he felt the same way about me. The next day I was kicking myself for not asking for his number or giving him mine. I consoled myself with the fact that he made a point of telling me that he was a regular at the bar, so I at least I had a chance to run into him again.

I decided to go back to O’Neill’s on Saturday night. I was a little disappointed that Wade wasn’t there. But Hank, Bill and Chuck were there and invited me to join them in a few games of pool. Paul was also there, and they introduced me to a couple of others, we all took turns teaming up and playing pool. I kept watching the door, but never saw Wade come in. Oh well, I guess even if I didn’t see Wade again, I had made some new friends and I did like hanging out in the bar. I was meeting new people and getting out, that was the goal in the first place.

I went to work Monday and asked Joe, “hey, how was the wedding?”

He laughed, “just like I said, Claire and her friends spent the night talking about the bride, but on the plus side, it was an open bar.”

He asked, “what about you, did you get out and do something?”

I nodded, yeah, I did. I went to a local pub, played pool with a few guys, it was a good time.”

He smiled, “good for you.”

I smiled back, “yep, in fact I just may become a regular there, I did have fun.”

That night after work I followed through my mission to become a regular and headed to the pub, Monday Night Football would be on TV so there should be a nice crowd.

Troy nodded and smiled at me when I sat down, “hey Chris, a rum and coke?”

I smiled back, “you talked me into it, thanks.”

Another big smile came across my face when I saw the door open, and I saw my sexy hunk walk in. Just as last time, he chatted with a few people on his way to the bar. He looked my way, and I flashed my best smile, he just continued his scan of the crowd and took his drink as he joined a group sitting at another table. My heart sank as he barely acknowledged me. I turned back to the bar and took another drink, shit, was he just being nice to me the other night because there was no one else to talk to?

He continued to ignore me the rest of the night, I left feeling very disappointed. Maybe I was just misreading him the first night we met, just hoping there was more there than there actually was.

I was undeterred, a couple nights later I was at my seat in the pub and hoping Wade would show up so we could talk again. A half hour later, he walks in and again I get the cold shoulder as he doesn’t even look in my direction. He joins a group at a table across the bar, so I called it a night early and headed home.

After a long talk with Joe at work the next day, he convinced me to give it one more try on Friday night. I was dragging my feet getting ready, still thinking about not going out at all. I finally took a deep breath and headed out my door and made my way down the three blocks to the pub. I walked in and went straight to the bar. As soon as I sat down, I saw him.

Wade gave me a huge smile, “hey Chris, I was hoping you would show up tonight.” He moved from his seat and sat next to me.

I was confused as I asked, “oh really? Why is that?”

He leaned in, “sorry if I’m reading you wrong, but I thought we had a connection that first night we met. I was wondering if you would like to come back to my place, my brother is out of town for the weekend, so I have the place to myself.”

Just as I was getting ready to ask him what the hell was going on, I felt my dick twitch. That killer smile caused to just melt, I had to see if his cock was as perfect as the rest of him.

I just nodded, “no, you were reading me right, I am very attracted to you.”

His smile got even bigger, “I like you too, so what do think, you want to get out of here?”

I stood silently and followed him out the door, watching that ass the whole way. We walked to his apartment without another word and as soon as the door was closed, we had our lips locked together in a passionate kiss. He was a great kisser, and my hands were exploring that body that I had been fantasizing about for the last week. Wade pulled my shirt over my head stood back looking at me, he said, “wow, just like I imaged, I love that sexy fur.” He started to run his hands through the hair on my chest. I pulled his shirt off, I smiled, “and you are just like I imaged, you are so ripped.” We were kissing again as we each started to fumble with each other’s pants. We kicked off our shoes and socks and we were soon in our underwear as we kissed and worked our way to the couch. Wade pushed me back onto the couch and in one motion ripped my underwear off and was sucking my hard cock. God, kissing was not the only skill his mouth had. My hands went to the back of his head as he bobbed up and down and my eyes rolled back into my head. After a few minutes, I knew I wasn’t going to last too much longer, so I pulled him up for another kiss. He stood in front of me, and I pulled his underwear down, damn, I was not disappointed, his dick was better than what I imaged. It was just the right size, not too big, but not small, great girth and big purple mushroom head with a small dallop of precum oozing from the slit. I started to stroke him with one hand and fondle his plum size balls with the other, he let out a deep moan as I took him into my warm mouth. His precum tasted so good, I sucked to get as much of it as I could. I reluctantly let his dick fall from my mouth and stood as we shared another kiss. I pushed him back onto the couch and finally got a good look at his completely naked body. He was mostly hairless, save for the small patch of sandy blonde pubs surrounding his cock and balls. I lay on top of him rubbing our bare skin and cocks together as we picked up our make out session. We moved around until we were in a classic sixty-nine, enjoying each other’s hard dicks, each alternating between the other’s cocks and nuts. His nuts were velvety soft, and I was able to get them both into my mouth at the same time, causing another moan to escape his lips. I ventured further and ran my tongue along his taint, causing Wade to gasp and pull his legs up in the air. I accepted the invitation and dove my tongue into his waiting hole, I got the reaction I was hoping for when he released my dick and yelled, “holy shit, that feels good.” I kept working his hole with my tongue as a smile came across my face, pleased that I was pleasing Wade. I moved to the side of the couch and pushed his legs up further and was soon able to get my tongue inside his hole. He let a new round of expletives fly.

Wade was writhing and sputtered, “God Chris, fuck me, please, fuck me.”

I left the last bit of spit I had in mouth in his hole and quickly moved into position. I pushed my cock head against his hole as I went down for a kiss. We locked our lips together and I slowly pushed in until my balls were tight against his sweet ass cheeks. It felt like we just melted together and were soon moving in perfect rhythm and groaning into each other’s mouths. We kept it up for 10 seconds, or 10 minutes, or an hour, hell, I have no idea how long it was, but I knew I was getting close. From the sounds Wade was making, I knew he was close too. He let out a load grunt as I felt his warm cum cover my abs and chest. His ass muscles clamping down on my cock sent me over the edge and I filled his hole with my seed. Never breaking our kiss as we caught our breath and my deflating dick fell from his ass.

I gave him one last kiss and rolled to his side, I said, “wow, I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get this chance, the way you acted toward me all week.”

He looked at me puzzled, “what do you mean?”

I chuckled, “what do I mean? Shit you just ignored me when you came into O’Neill’s, all week. I didn’t even get a smile from you, let alone a chance to talk to you. It really surprised me tonight when you invited me back your place so fast.”

He sat, “ignore you? I was out of town all week for work, tonight was the first night I have been to the pub since the night we met.”

Just as I was about to ask him about seeing him twice in the pub this past week, there was the sound of a key in the door lock.

As a guy walked in, Wade said, “what are you doing home, I thought you were going to be gone with Jenna all weekend?”

He looked at us laying naked on the couch, “oh, sorry. I didn’t know you had company, Jenna got sick, so we came home early.”

I looked at the man then back to Wade.

Wade started to laugh, “oh, I’ll bet you saw Wayne at the pub. Wayne this is Chris. Chris this is my identical twin brother Wayne.”

The End.
